Abstract

In facing the challenges students face in reading, teachers need to be proactive in providing guidance to help them overcome obstacles that hinder the learning process. This research aims to explain the reading problems faced by students and the teachers' efforts to solve them in class II of SDN 002 Bagan Besar, Dumai City. The method applied in this research is a qualitative approach. Researchers used various data collection techniques including observation, interviews and document analysis involving research subjects consisting of class II B homeroom teachers and class II B students at SDN 002 Bagan Besar, Dumai City. The research results showed that there were class II B students who experienced difficulties in reading, such as lack of reading fluency, frequent mistakes, difficulty in distinguishing similar letters, and errors in pronouncing words or sound symbols. The efforts taken by teachers to overcome the reading difficulties of class II students at SDN 002 Bagan Besar, Dumai City, have been quite effective. Teachers use interesting and interactive learning methods, such as picture letter books, and strengthen students' self-confidence and motivation through praise. In addition, teachers do not blame students and provide special remedial programs to improve their reading skills

Abstract

Interactive Science Learning E-Module teaching materials are developed with science process skills. The interactive science learning e-module has the form of software that can be used with the help of a laptop, computer and cellphone. Interactive e-Modules are presented in PDF form, making them easier for educators and students to use, and can be used offline, but there are several menus such as quizzes, learning videos and evaluations that cannot be accessed if you are not connected to the internet. This research is Research and Development (R&D), by applying five ADDIE model stages (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). Stage analyze includes analysis of educators and students.  The design stage includes preparing the e-module outline in the form of selecting media and e-module formats as well as designing the learning content in the e-module. The development stage includes the development of data collection instruments. The data collection instruments in this research are eligibility sheets for validators and science learning practitioners, as well as pretest and posttest questions for science process skills. This instrument was developed based on review by supervisors, assessments by validator lecturers, science teacher learning practitioners, and trials on students. The implementation stage includes the application of the e-module that has been developed for class IV students at MI Tarbiyatussibyan Banyuwangi. The experimental design used at this stage is one group pretest-posttest. The evaluation stage includes the form of evaluation carried out at each ADDIE stage. The data analysis technique used is the normality test and t test.The research results show that the interactive science learning e-module based on project based learning that was developed is very effective and interesting to use in science learning. The science e-module is effective in improving science process skills because the results of field trials show students' enthusiasm in learning science and students who easily understand science material with the stages of science process skills. Science process skills can also provide innovation to educators in creating enjoyable science learning.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum demands a significant and comprehensive role for teachers, starting from planners, designers, managers, evaluators, researchers, decision makers, to learning administrators. The aim of this research is to describe in detail the conditions related to the role of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum at SDN 017 Mayang Pongkai. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with case studies. Researchers used various data collection techniques, such as observation, interviews and document analysis, involving research subjects, namely the class V homeroom teacher at SDN 017 Mayang Pongkai. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the independent curriculum has been implemented well according to its role. The role of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum includes teacher, educator, facilitator, guide, servant, designer, manager, innovator and assesor.

Abstract

Student positioning in discussion activities with group change patterns can be used to determine student positions when interacting with group members. Group changes are useful for deciding student positions in three meetings held. The purpose of this study was to describe how student positioning occurs in discussion activities with group change patterns. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological type. The research instruments were group worksheets, student observation sheets, and documentation in pictures and recordings. Data analysis in this study was data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that with student positioning, students could determine their positions during interactions in discussion activities. The interaction resulted in group changes used to determine the differences in the positions of the four students at each meeting, as well as the consistency of student positioning to determine the extent to which the four students were consistent in providing ideas or suggestions.

Abstract

The presentation of LKPD, especially in science learning, needs to experience innovation, including the use of technology to improve the quality of learning, namely by developing E-LKPD. Previous research has developed a STEM-PjBL based Science E-LKPD, but the response of class IV students to the E-LKPD is not yet known. This research aims to determine students' responses to STEM-PjBL-based Science E-LKPD. This research uses qualitative data and quantitative data. The research results were obtained based on the results of the student and teacher response instruments to the STEM-PjBL based Science E-LKPD which got an average percentage of 83% on the one to one test UI and the students' response results got an average percentage of 95% with very good category in small group trials, and teacher responses were 93%, all of which reflect suitability and excellence in various important aspects of learning.

Abstract

Numeracy ability is one of the abilities that students need to have to be able to overcome problems related to mathematical logic. The results of the PISA survey stated that Indonesia is classified as a country with the numeracy ability of students that has not been maximized. Meanwhile, to be more specific, the numeracy ability of students in areas spread throughout Indonesia is not clearly known. This research method is quantitative research, with a survey type. The subjects in this study were 364 students from elementary schools spread across Kupang City. Data collection was carried out using test techniques with a total of 15 numeracy test questions. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics so that the average and distribution of the frequency of numeracy skills of students in elementary schools in Kupang City was known based on the level of their levels. The results showed that as many as 157 students or 45.35% had numeracy skills at level 3, namely being able to choose and apply simple problem-solving strategies; 143 respondents or 41.33% have numeracy skills at level 2, namely being able to use formulas, carry out procedures or agreements in solving problems; and the remaining 46 respondents or 13.29% have numeracy skills in Level 1 is being able to identify information and complete routine procedures according to clear instructions for the situation

Abstract

The improvement of skills relevant to the 21st century focuses on students' ability to explore the surrounding environment. For this it is necessary to train students' problem-solving skills from the natural environment as well as human behavior in public life that require contributions in their achievements. The aim of the study was to determine the contribution of digital literacy and learning interaction between students to IPAS (IPA and IPS) problem-solving skills of 4th grade primary school students in Waru Sidoarjo District. The research uses a quantitative approach of survey methods. The primary data used was obtained directly from the field. Data source 181 respondents across five sampled schools after reduction. The result was that both free variables contributed positively and significantly to the IPAS problem-solving skills of grade IV elementary students. The standard values of the coefficients in each variable showed different values, namely digital literacy of 0.187, while the learning interaction between students was 0.177. The results showed that the digital literacy variable was the more dominant variable

Abstract

The education system, especially Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Elementary Schools (SD), needs to undergo a major transformation in the digital era. Teachers, as pillars of education, must have sufficient digital skills to use technology in the learning process. The purpose of this article is to investigate various education policies that can be used to improve the ability of MI/SD teachers to face the challenges of the digital era. examining relevant literature on national policies and teacher training programs. The study shows that policies such as the Continuous Professional Development Program (PKB), Digital Education Training, and Merdeka Curriculum Integration help improve teacher and technology competencies. To realize an inclusive and sustainable digital education ecosystem, the government, educational institutions, and the community must work together to achieve this goal, because there are still obstacles that hinder the implementation of these policies, such as limited infrastructure, inequality in access to technology, and the need for continuous mentoring.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and produce the effectiveness of an educational comic based on Creative Problem Solving (CPS) using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro as interactive media for elementary school students. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model development approach. The main innovation of this research is the use of the Creative Problem Solving approach in designing educational comic content. In addition, Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro is used to present comics interactively, adding a more interesting visual dimension. The research results include educational comics developed and evaluation results from field trials. Evaluation involves responses from students, teachers, and the appropriateness, attractiveness, and effectiveness of comics in increasing understanding of educational concepts. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of innovative teaching methods and increase student involvement in the learning process. The results obtained were that the teaching materials developed obtained a validity percentage of 89.06% (Content Validation), 80% (Graphic Validation), and 83.3% (Language Validation). The practicality of the teacher's response was obtained at 3.7 (very practical), while the student's response was 3.5 (very practical. Effectiveness can be seen from student learning outcomes, namely an N-Gain Score of 0.71 (High) in the quite effective category. This means, The teaching materials developed are valid, practical and effective for grade 3 elementary school students

Abstract

Media pembelajaran adalah sarana atau alat yang digunakan oleh guru untuk menyampaikan pesan pembelajaran untuk membantu dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kevalidan, keefektifan dan kepraktisan media video animasi dalam materi IPAS topik Kekayaan Budaya Indonesia untuk peserta didik kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Research & Development, model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 40 peserta didik yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu melalui metode wawancara, validasi, tes hasil belajar dan kuesioner (angket). Hasil validasi dari pakar media, ahli bahasa, dan ahli material dari video animasi yang dikembangkan memperoleh persentase rata-rata 87% pada kategori sangat layak, hasil keefektifan 88,6% pada kategori efektivitas sangat tinggi, dan hasil kepraktisan 96,9% pada kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan media video animasi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video animasi dalam materi IPAS topik Kekayaan Budaya Indonesia termasuk dalam kriteria sangat valid, efektif dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
