Abstract

Further cultivating the informational experience and expanding understudies' numerical Unequivocal thinking skills (KPMM) by applying the Issue Based Learning (PBL) model are the boss focal points of this appraisal. The examination applied is PTK with two cycles completed in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 scholastic year. The subject of this examination was a sum of 36 Class VII understudies at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Onang. The learning devices utilized incorporate framework, model plans, and understudy worksheets (LKS). Information gathering instruments were helped through acumen sheets and KPMM tests. The KPMM tests and the observations made by the students were used in the data analysis. The outcomes showed that applying the PBL model had the decision to develop understudies' KPMM. The improvement in the mean score of understudies' KPMM tests from cycle 1 was 65.61 to 86.80 in cycle II. In this manner, class VII-A students at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Onang can benefit from the execution of the PBL model by extending their KPMM and further fostering their approach to learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan efektivitas pembelajaran IPA berbasis Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) dengan pembelajaran IPA tanpa pendekatan SSI terhadap kemampuan scientific literacy siswa SMP ditinjau dari aspek contexts, competencies, knowledge, dan attidtude pada materi bioteknologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen (Quasi Eksperimental Design). Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa salah satu SMP di Kota Surabaya yang terbagi menjadi 29 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa di kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes literasi sains, angket sikap sains dan angket respon siswa. Hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain, sedangkan angket respon siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil uji N-Gain sebagian besar berkategori sedang dan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatkan kemampuan scientific literacy siswa yang menerima pembelajaran IPA berbasis SSI lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang menerima pembelajaran IPA tanpa pendekatan SSI. Hasil penelitian ini juga didukung dengan data angket respon siswa yang memperoleh respon positif pada kedua kelas, namun respon siswa yang menerima pembelajaran IPA berbasi SSI menunjukkan persentase yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menerima pembelajaran IPA tanpa pendekatan SSI. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA berbasis SSI lebih efektif meningkatkan kemampuan scientific literacy siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran IPA tanpa pendekatan SSI. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan scientific literacy siswa, guru dapat menerapkan pendekatan SSI materi bioteknologi atau yang memiliki karakteristik setara, seperti ekosistem dan keseimbangannya, interaksi antarorganisme, dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini berujuan untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana pemahaman mahasiswa Tadris Biologi 2 UINSU terhadap materi tersebut, serta untuk mengidentifikasi pendekatan pembelajaran yang paling efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep dasar sel dan organel sel. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskripsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan dau metode pengumpulan, yaitu kuis dan kelompok, Subjeknya menggunakan Dosen, Mahasiswa, serta sarana dan prasarana, Objek penelitian ini ialah Univesitas Negeri Sumatera Utara. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan pemahaman terhadap mahasiswa pada saat perkuliaahan berlangsung hampir seluruhnya mahasiswa menjawab pertanyaan dengan benar, dan mahasiswa lebih banyak memahami materi konsep biologi sel dikarenakan mungkin masih terlalu basic, namun ditemukan adanya kesulitan mahasiswa pada materi struktur dan fungsi organel sel. Mahasiswa sulit menjawab dengan cara cepat, namun hasil jawaban mereka tidak ada yang salah. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa hasil pemahaman mahasiswa tadris biologi 2 mampu dan paham mengenai materi konsep dasar serta struktur,fungsi organel sel.

Abstract

The teaching and learning activity is a very important role in education because it involves the process of transferring knowledge, both at the basic and higher education levels. Efforts to instill understanding for students can be done by using modules, various learning models, and learning media. In the current digital era, there are various visual applications that can be utilized as learning media, one of which is Canva. Canva-based learning media was developed in this research for the Engineering Physics course. This research is R & D type with 4D model. This research was held on first semester students of the Computer Science study program in Graha Nusantara University Padangsidimpuan in year 2023/2024.  Validation sheet instrument was used to collect data. The collected assessment results are converted to a Likert scale. The results from the validator show 84% for material validation and 81% for media validation, both of which are included in the valid criteria. Thus, Canva-based learning media is feasible to using in Engineering Physics courses in force and motion subject.

Abstract

In this research, synthesize of ZnO doped Sn nanoparticles was done by coprecipitation method. The raw material are the powder of zinc acetate dihydrate, the powder of tin (II) chloride dihydrate, HCl solution, and ammonium chloride solution. The doping of Sn powder used in concentration 0 %wt, 1 %wt, 2 %wt, 3 %wt, 4 %wt, and 5%wt. This research was done to know the effect of doping Sn toward ZnO nanoparticles structure. Structure and phase composition of ZnO doped Sn was known by XRD characterization, then Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) to know the morphology of ZnO nanoparticles doped Sn. The XRD patterns indicated that ZnO doped Sn nanoparticles crystallize in hexagonal Zincite structure. The crystallite size was analyzed by using Material Analysis Using Diffraction (MAUD) software and found to be in the range of 22-97 nm. The result of SEM test showed that the morphological surface of the nanoparticles was affected by Sn doping.

Abstract

Innovation and data hold a significant job as the principal wellspring of learning exercises in the period of modern upset 4.0 which changes generally manual frameworks into advanced frameworks. The reason for computerized learning is to furnish understudies with another learning circumstance and learning environment on the grounds that customary learning techniques are presently not appropriate for the ongoing understudy learning circumstance. Utilizing a variety of learning applications, which make it easier for learning activities to be more efficient and effective while also expanding knowledge, is one way to make use of technology. The goal of this study was to find out how the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker app is used in education during the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. A relevant literature review was used in this scientific study, which contributes to the research's discussion. Learning using the Kvisoft Flipbook Creator application which is one of the product that can change over PDF records into intuitive advanced books as an elective answer for help understudy learning in the time of the Modern Upset 4.0. As a result, making digital books out of learning materials is a smart way to create a more engaging, interactive, and communicative learning environment and help students comprehend what the teacher is teaching.

Abstract

The birth of the REACT Model was initiated by CORD in the United States. This learning approach includes five learning principles which include the relationship between concepts (Relating), direct experience (Experiencing), application in real situations (Appliying), cooperation between students (Cooperating) and transfer of learning to other situations (Transferring). This learning approach makes it easier for students to understand and master redox reaction material. The aim of the research is that it is hoped that through this research, it will be possible to find out to what extent the REACT learning model contributes to improving student learning outcomes in understanding the concept of redox reactions. This study is a quantitative study. The sampling method for this study is random sampling. Collect data through learning outcomes tests. In the experimental class the average score obtained after implementing the REACT learning model was 73.33 and 60.33 in the control class and the results of the independent t test using SPSS obtained a sig value of 0.025 < 0.05 which shows that the REACT learning model can improve results. Study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh tingkat motivasi belajar siswa yang rendah, sehingga diperlukan adanya perbaikan dalam pembelajaran dengan tujuan untuk menunjang siswa menumbuhkan motivasi belajarnya. Perbaikan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan memanfaatkan media teka-teki silang yang dilaksanakan selama tiga kali pertemuan. Penilitian dilakukan pada siswa siswa kelas VII yaitu berjumlah 24 siswa. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu one-shot case study. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data, yakni lembar angket yang digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkatan motivasi belajar serta didukung dengan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, dari hasil angket dketahui motivasi belajar siswa tergolong pada kategori sangat tinggi yaitu sebesar 85%. Hal ini juga didukung oleh hasil observasi aktivitas siswa yang terus meningkat setiap kali pertemuan dilakukan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD menunjukkan pengaruh dalam menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Student Team Achievement Division, Teka-Teki Silang, Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles and aimed to improve the creative thinking skills of Bina Bersaudara Medan Private Junior High School students by using a project-based learning model. 26 students from Bina Bersaudara Private Junior High School in Medan who are in grades VIII-2 of this study. Original, fluent thinking, flexibility, and elaboration are the four stages involved in each cycle. The results of this study show that a learning model based on projects can be applied. The average score of students increased from 37.33 in the very low category to 68.29 in the1medium category and 87.18 in1the high category in the second cycle. Students' classical abilities also improved, with 17 students (65.4%) achieving complete in the first cycle.

Abstract

This literature study aims to determine the actualization of social media networks on academic learning achievements, especially for high school students or Generation Z and efforts to overcome dependence on social media networks. This type of research is qualitative research with a literature study method. The results of literature studies show that Generation Z students spend more time scrolling on social media. Social media that is often used by Generation Z students is Whatsapp, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. Today's Generation Z tends to get bored when they don't use social media because each social media has its own advantages and characteristics that make its users feel at home staring at their cellphone screens all day long. The intensity of social media use of Generation Z students averages more than 3 hours a day. Usually the electronic devices used to access social media include smartphones, laptops and other electronic devices. The positive impact of social media for Gen Z in using social media is to get information related to knowledge, tips and tricks related to learning and will make it easier when doing assignments so it is hoped that it will support each student's achievement. The surefire way for students to become Gen Z to overcome this dependency or addiction to social media, they do by managing or managing their time as well as possible, limiting the use of social networks, increasing outside activities so as to minimize opening social media, by turning off notifications so they can focus more on doing assignments or other things related to school or daily life.
