Abstract

This study aimed  to determine the mediating role of employee engagement  in the relationship between transformational leadership and motivation on employee performance. Questionnaires were used to collect data from employees of companies operating in the pharmaceutical sector in Jakarta with  223 respondents. The data analysis used structural equation modeling with Smartpls program. The results of the study showed  that transformational leadership directly can increase employee performance and work engagement. Furthermore, motivation was  able to increase job engagement  but it was  not able to increase performance. Interestingly, employee engagement   had  been able to fully mediate the effect of motivation on employee performance, but it was  unable to mediate the effect of transformational leadership on performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of organizational culture and behavior of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises on MSME performance in South Tangerang. This research method uses a Mixed Method approach by combining quantitative research and qualitative research. The quantitative method uses SEM modeling (Smart PLS 3.0) and the qualitative method through interviews, observations and documentation that discusses the themes of culture, behavior and performance of MSMEs. The results of the quantitative research show that Organizational Culture has no significant effect on MSME performance because the T-Statistic value is 0.519 < 1.984 and P-Values = 0.604 > 0.05 On the other hand, behavioral variables of MSME actors have a significant impact on MSME performance due to the t-statistic value is 2.631. > 1.984 and P-Values = 0.009 < 0.05. As for the results of qualitative research, to improve the performance of MSMEs, a business needs the best mission as steps so that the business that is run can develop and compete with other competitors, there is also a need for an organizational forum to shelter MSME actors so that all MSMEs can become a unified and helping each other among MSME actors, such as information related to exhibitions, the convenience of raw materials and other important information to run a business. Organizational behavior or behavior of MSMEs is also very necessary in achieving improved performance of MSMEs, such as communication, good cooperation and mutual support between MSME actors to run and develop their business.

Abstract

The study determines consumer dissatisfaction, variety seeking, and brand switching at Shopee's market offices. This study was conducted to determine the direct and indirect effects of consumer dissatisfaction and variety-seeking on brand switching on the Shopee marketplace to other marketplaces. The method used is quantitative with a population of Shopee users in Karawang who have switched to other marketplaces. A total of 150 samples were taken using a non-probability method of incidental sampling technique.  In this paper, Consumer dissatisfaction has a positive and meaningful impact on variety seeking, variety seeking has a positive and significant effect on brand switching, consumer dissatisfaction has no significant and positive effect on brand switching, and consumer dissatisfaction has a significant and significant effect on brand switching through variety seeking.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research is to determine the financial performance of PT Garuda Indonesia in the period 2014-2020 which is reviewed through report posts finance is an asset fixed , total income and total debt as the independent variable and net income as the dependent variable. The data used are secondary data in the form of financial reports and annual reports obtained from the official website of PT Garuda Indonesia. Which method used in this study is a descriptive and verification combination method with quantitative approach to conclude data in the form of numbers into descriptive analysis. The technique taken is a saturated sampling technique. By using eviews 12, the results show that partially total income has a significant effect on net income, but assets still has no significant effect on net income, the same as total debt has no significant effect on net profit. But simultaneously assets Fixed income, total income, total debt have an effect on net income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of communication and work discipline on employee performance. Data collection is carried out by the dissemination of questionnaires, the population of this study is Bank BJB Sumbersari Bandung Branch Of which numbered 60 respondents using purposive sampling obtained a sample of 50 respondents. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach method. The results of the study showed that simultaneous communication and work discipline affect employee performance. This is evidenced by the results of the Simultaneous Test (test f) and partial test (test t). Therefore, the test results of this study stated that there is a simultaneous influence between communication variables and work discipline on the performance of employees of Bank BJB Sumbersari Bandung Branch

Abstract

The goal of this study was to identify the key elements that would help design procedures for improving corporate images in urban company. The studies were quantitative and used observation, questioning, and interviews as three key sources of data. With a path coefficient of 0.94, the results show that the Customer Satisfaction variable and the Corporate Image variable are positively correlated. Corporate Image increases by 0.94 units or has an impact of 0.94 units on the increase in Corporate Image if Customer Satisfaction increases. The overall impact of service quality on client satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Indragiri is 67.86 percent. Product quality, such as water clarity, colour, and odour, is the customer satisfaction dimension with the lowest value, in line with the distribution performance issue. Therefore, to improve water quality and distribution, quality control management must be planned, implemented, and carried out systematically and continuously.

Abstract

The strategy to improve digital marketing for MSME products and services is a critical study. Therefore, the authors are interested in reviewing scientific evidence of increasing digital era MSME marketing to increase understanding. Finally, we can conclude that the findings include several strategies to increase the promotion of MSME products and including MSME managers preparing products and services that have future value and serving customers better, making the best buyer journeys, understand when and how to fix any shortcomings, develop periodic promotions, optimize website promotions, develop internet promotions, always place website pages easy to find, review items, create a business Google account, participate, participate, influencers, then right-click, are virtual entertainment. It is hoped that this study will become a vital force in increasing the understanding of digital marketing strategies in MSME businesses.

Abstract

This research is aimed to acknowledge whether organizational commitment can play a role as a mediator of the relationship between both Person Organization Fit and Leader Member Exchange and performance. Research samples were 150 employees of 20 (twenty) cigarette company in Kudus, Central Java. Data analysis used SPSS program version 25 with Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach. Research findings showed that the proposed five hypotheses were accepted : 1) Person-Organization Fit has a significant effect on organizational commitment, 2) Person-Organization Fit has a significant effect on performance, 3) Leader member exchange has a significant effect on Organizational commitment, 4) Leader Member Exchange has a significant effect on performance, and 5) Organizational commitment has a significant effect on performance. Organizational commitment has a role as a mediating variable and strengthens the relationship between Person-Organizational Fit and Leader Member Exchange with the performance. This research recommends the management of cigarette company in Kudus to implement various organizational efforts in order to improve Person-Organization Fit and Leader Member Exchange to encourage the improvement of the employee’s performance through organizational commitment.

Abstract

Recently, many people have been switching from conventional shopping to digital shopping. Even so, people feel that online shopping is less secure. Finally, many consumers search for information online before shopping at online stores. This study investigates how webrooming affects consumers’ experience and determines the effect of webrooming on consumer confidence, smart shopping feeling, and e-satisfaction in the digital fashion industry. The population in this study were all the digital fashion industry consumers who experience webrooming in the shopping process. The total sample used in this study was 384 people using purposive sampling. The result obtained from this study finds that webrooming has a significant and positive effect on confidence and smart shopping feeling. Both factors, confidence and smart shopping feeling subsequently significant and positively affect e-satisfaction.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to compare the correlation between third-party funds and profitability using bank size as a moderating variable of Islamic banking in Malaysia and Indonesia. The sample in this study used purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 10 Islamic banks in Malaysia, 10 Islamic banks Indonesia in 2016-2020. The data used is secondary data in the form of the annual reports or financial reports through the official website of each Islamic bank. To examine research data in the form of financial statements, this quantitative study used regression and moderate regression analysis. The results of the first analysis show that third-party funds from Indonesia and Malaysia Islamic banks show a significant effect on profitability (ROA), while the results of the second analysis show that third-party funds moderating the profitability of Indonesia and Malaysia Islamic banks.
