Abstract

In order to support Laga-Bauguia trade activities, the Ministry of Public Works (PU) is building a road network to the southern region. In its development, there is the development of the Laga-Bauguia Access Road which will be implemented from February 2023 to February 2025. This highway is one of the most important highways because it will connect the north coast area and cross the hills to the Matabian Mountains area which is visited by many tourists. local and foreign. This research aims to analyze the performance of the Laga - Bauguia Highway improvement project in terms of costs and analyze the estimated costs for the remaining work, as well as the cost of completing the Laga - Bauguia Highway improvement project. Every construction project requires control measures in terms of costs, where in carrying out control it is necessary to know in advance the ongoing project performance. One way to determine the cost performance of the project is the Earned Value method. This method can reveal whether the progress in implementing project work is commensurate with the use of part of the budget. By analyzing the concept of Earned Value, the relationship between what has actually been achieved physically and the amount of budget that has been spent can be seen. During the review period in the 8th month, a CPI value of 5.50 was obtained, which means that the actual costs incurred were less than the budget costs. In the 13th month, the CPI value was obtained at 5.50, which means the actual costs incurred were smaller than the budgeted costs.

Abstract

The availability of clean water is a complex and urgent problem. Water is a natural resource that is very important for human survival. The problem faced is that the clean water system in the area where residents live is not running smoothly. To overcome this, a good clean water distribution network and good clean water system management are needed and are able to serve the clean water needs of residents in the area. In order to make this happen, quite a large investment is needed. One of them is by carrying out company investment in the form of increasing the capacity of the raw water supply system. Based on the background mentioned, the title of this research is Feasibility Analysis of Investment in the Clean Water System of the Wae Mbeliling Drinking Water Company, Lembor District. The settlement method for this calculation is for Feasibility Investment Analysis using the Net Present Value (NPV) method and the Break Event Point (BEP) method. From the results of the analysis, an NPV value of Rp. 678,904,405,208 (NPV > 0). So the investment in developing the production capacity and clean water network of Perumda Air Minum Wae Mbeliling, Lembor District, is worth continuing. An NPV value that is positive or greater than (> 0) indicates that the income is greater than the value invested. It was found that the return value occurred in the 4th year by marking the accumulation of positive profits starting from the 4th year. This explains that the investment in replacing the clean water distribution network of Perumda Air Minum Wae Mbeliling, Lembor District is feasible, because there is a proven return on investment. from the BEP value for 1 year.

Abstract

Corrosion is damage caused by chemical reactions between metal materials and other natural elements and is destructive to metal. Corrosion is a weakness in ships made of steel, namely because the rate of ship corrosion, fatigue life is reduced, tensile strength and other mechanical properties are reduced. Corrosion is concentrated on only certain parts. In metal corrosion current flow out onto other parts of the metal surface. Corrosion gastric plates result in reduction Hull panel strength, slowing the ship and reduces security guarantees. The hull must be protected from corrosive attacks routine to prevent loss of additional plates substantially due to seawater corrosion. For Prevent hull corrosion in the painting process for coating, cathodic protection process. In this article, a system for automatically detecting ship hull painting results using image processing is explained. This system will be developed into a portable system. The results obtained show that the system is able to recognize whether the painting results can be accepted or rejected. Accepted means no need to repaint. and if it is rejected, it means a repainting process is needed.

Abstract

The city of Bandung is one part of the Greater Bandung Area which has been designated as a National Activity Center (PKN) which has a role as a collection and distribution center on international, national, and several provincial scales. This has resulted in a high level of development driven by the pace of the economy and population growth which continues to increase in the city of Bandung, resulting in an increase in the need for built-up land which is accompanied by a decrease in non-built land, especially green open space, so that it can affect the temperature and humidity of the air as well as the thermal comfort of the microclimate or temperature. This research aims to identify the distribution of THI as a measure of the level of thermal comfort in Bandung City. The approach is remote sensing, specifically utilizing Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS image processing for 2013 and 2023 on Google Earth Engine Software. The data processing process goes through several stages, including NDVI processing, land cover classification, surface temperature, and THI. After going through these stages, it was found that the distribution of temperature humidity index values in 2023 in Bandung City was dominated by the uncomfortable class (>26°C).

Abstract

The growth of UMKM in various sectors has triggered intense competition between these business actors. One of them is the craft sector. The use of social media is expected to boost turnover, but the benefits are still lacking. In the craft sector, the problem that arises on the MSME side is the cessation of production. This causes turnover to decrease and has an impact on decreasing profits. This dynamic system modeling is used to see how profit-increasing strategies can be carried out. Based on the dynamic system, there are several variables, namely the causal loop diagram (CLD) and the Stock Flow Diagram (SFD) that are built, there are 3 scenarios in increasing production profits, namely: increasing production, reducing the cost of tools and materials and the third is both taken simultaneously. From the simulation carried out, it was found that within a period of 12 months it was seen that increasing production by reducing the cost of tools and materials could increase sales so that income increased and profits increased. A process of identifying production process change variables is needed as one of the production process variables that was stopped.

Abstract

The need for information about weather conditions in a particular environment is very necessary for the community, so that they can plan activities for the future. A forecaster cannot process data to predict weather or climate conditions if it is not accompanied by historical data within a predetermined time period. Data is a very important savings for future generations, because data will make the nation's generation smart. Without data, all previous information would not be known to be studied. The current condition of the earth is very worrying and not easy to predict. Therefore, it is very important to have integrated observations and services in coastal and marine areas to support resilience to climate change and other marine hazards.Sustainable marine observations and services are very important and relevant to reduce potential problems and threats arising from climate change. In this paper we will discuss the creation of a tool for monitoring weather, where this tool will take data on humidity, temperature and rainfall. so that from this data we can predict weather conditions in the area. By using the fuzzy method, the combination of these three data can be used by fishermen to make decisions about whether it is still safe to go to sea.The system is built based on Arduino using muoring buoy media. where this tool will be placed in the sea. The power supply system uses solar cells, so that it can independently meet the power needs of the equipment. From the test results the system can work normally and well.
