Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu 1) meningkatkan pengetahuan santri dan pengurus tentang bullying, 2) Mengurangi kasus bullying, 3) Mengoptimalkan peran pengurus pondok pesantren, 4) menciptakan lingkungan pesantren yang aman dan nyaman, 5) Mengembangkan sistem pelaporan yang efektif, 6) meningkatkan kesadaran dan pentingnya pendidikan karakter. Metode dalam pengabdian ini terbagi menjadi dua yaitu metode sosialisasi, workshop dan pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan para peserta tentang bullying, pencegahan keterampilan bullying.

Abstract

Pembangunan website untuk pengelolaan data kependudukan Desa Curug Sangereng merupakan langkah penting dalam transformasi digital pemerintahan desa. Sehingga kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan data penduduk yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual. Metode kegiatan ini meliputi identifikasi permasalahan dan kebutuhan, pembangunan sistem, evaluasi, dan sosialisasi. Tahap identifikasi permasalahan dan kebutuhan dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi. Selanjutnya tahap pembangunan website digunakan PHP dan database MySQL, dengan fitur utama seperti penambahan data penduduk, unduh data, dan visualisasi data kependudukan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mendemokan website dan meminta feedback dari perangkat desa melalui kuesioner. Tahap terakhir adalah sosialisasi untuk memastikan perangkat desa memahami penggunaan sistem. Hasil evaluasi, berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang diisi oleh perangkat desa, menunjukkan bahwa 100% responden setuju bahwa sistem ini mempermudah pengelolaan data dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Website ini meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan data kependudukan Desa Curug.

Abstract

Maros Limbah Solusindo merupakan pengepul limbah plastik skala mikro yang mengolah limbah kemasan gelas plastik air mineral yang dibeli dari pengepul keliling kemudian dibersihkan dengan cara melepas tutup kemasan dengan menggunakan cutter. Kapasita produsksi dengan cutter rata-rata 1.2 kg/jam sehingga belum mampu mengimbangi pasokan  bahan baku dari pengepul keliling. Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, dirancang alat pelepas tutup gelas plastik dengan mekanisme  penggerak motor Listrik ¼ kw yang yang memutar amplas untuk melepas tutup gelas plastik. Implementasi alat ini meningkatkan kapasitas produksi  1,2 kg/jam menjadi 2,7 kg/jam sehingga setiap pekerja dapat memproduksi dari 240 kg/bulan menjadi 540 kg/bulan. Menurut mitra, alat ini sangat mudah untuk digunakan, lebih aman digunakan serta lebih cepat dalam proses produksi serta dapat meningkatkan keutungan 43,98%

Abstract

The service activity aims to strengthen Public Speaking, especially the Welcoming Speech for Veteran I High School Students in Sukoharjo. The activity method is offline face to face with lecture and practice methods. The training participants were Veteran I High School students in Sukoharjo. Activity Location at Veteran I Sukoharjo High School. The results achieved were that offline face-to-face service activities resulted in an increase in pre-test and post-test scores of 48 percent, the highest score was 90, the lowest score was 75 and the average score was 87. Apart from that, the results of the activity were also in the form of YouTube videos for each participant of Welcoming Speech. The result of the Practice Video score was that the average score was 82.4 points with a good letter conversion. The highest score was obtained with 88 points with excellent value. There were 50 percent of students who got an A grade. Based on these results, it shows that the students participating in Community Service were able to practice welcoming speech with good grades. Students are able to absorb the transfer of knowledge from service speakers. The benefits of the activity are increasing fluency in Public Speaking in the Welcoming Speech and improving Public Speaking practice for Veteran I High School Students in Sukoharjo.

Abstract

Hypertension (referred to as "the silent killer") is one of the non-communicable diseases that can be quite dangerous if left uncontrolled, even leading to death. The mortality rate is 427,218 deaths out of Indonesia's population of 268,369,114. Hypertension complications include myocardial infarction, left ventricular hypertrophy, heart failure, aneurysm, and chronic kidney disease (Jelaković, 2022). According to Athiyah et al. (2019), hypertension is currently on the rise and requires long-term treatment. Hypertension ranks third in the outpatient data of BPJS Health participants in 2018, with the highest number of sufferers in Indonesia (Pusparisa & Ridhoi, 2020). This Community Service Activity will be conducted at the PTM Posyandu in Harjosari Village, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City, because Harjosari Village has been a community development area under the Riau Health Polytechnic (Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau) since 2021 and will continue until 2024. In addition, the choice of Harjosari Village for this program is based on interviews with clients, revealing that 22 clients actively visit the Posyandu in RW 01 and RW 04. The Posyandu in RW 01 is located in the prosecutor's housing complex, while the Posyandu in RW 04 is located on Bunga Harum Street. Based on initial surveys at the site, it was found that there were 5 clients with hypertension who were not receiving adequate support from their families. The purpose of this community service program is to assess the application of Thought Stopping (TS) to help families provide better support to family members with hypertension. The program will run from February to October 2024 (8 months). The activity will focus on applying Thought Stopping (TS) techniques to stop negative thoughts. The target audience for this program consists of 25 individuals. The implementation of the Thought Stopping therapy will be conducted in three sessions: Session 1: Stopping negative thoughts after hearing an alarm sound. Session 2: Stopping negative thoughts after seeing the word “STOP”. Session 3: Stopping negative thoughts after whispering or saying something quietly to oneself. The techniques used will include describing, modeling, role-playing, providing feedback, and transferring knowledge. A required output for this program is a scientific article published in a nationally accredited community service journal (Sinta 4), and an additional output will be intellectual property rights (HaKI).

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to support the enhancement of understanding among early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in Banda District in developing differentiated teaching modules as a principle of Child-Friendly Schools (SRA). This community service was carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The results of this service identified the main obstacles in developing differentiated teaching modules, which were caused by the teachers' limited initial understanding of the concept of differentiated teaching modules and the teachers' educational background, which was not relevant to the PAUD level. Additionally, the outcome of this assistance successfully provided the necessary knowledge to the PAUD teachers and improved their capacity to develop teaching modules that align with the children's needs and the SRA principles.

Abstract

The independent curriculum workshop provides teachers with an understanding of the concept of implementing the independent curriculum as well as experience in compiling teaching modules at MIN 2 Bogor. This service methodology uses a workshop approach. The workshop lasted for 1 day with several stages including; (a) Field observations; (b) coordination with partners, (c) program outreach; (d) program implementation and (e) evaluation.  The results of the workshop evaluation showed that there was an increase in the understanding of MIN 2 Bogor teachers and education staff who were categorized as good from 12.50% to 37.50%, while those who had sufficient knowledge from 12.50% to 18.75% and those who had sufficient knowledge less decreased from 75.00% to 43.75%. This shows that providing materials and assistance with teaching modules can increase the understanding of teachers and education staff. The Independent Curriculum Workshop Program contributes to increasing the competence of teachers in the professional field and opens up opportunities for further training on the theme of preparing educational assessments and educational supervision. Thus, this workshop succeeded in preparing teachers to answer future educational challenges.

Abstract

Integrasi teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan sudah lazim dilakukan; teknologi digital dapat memberikan dampak positif jika digunakan secara bijaksana. Program parenting dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital melalui platform Google Play Store di Android telah dilaksanakan di TK ABA 1 dan 2 Kota Sukabumi. Tujuan dari pengembangan program parenting melalui teknologi digital ini adalah karena mayoritas orang tua di TK ABA 1 dan 2 Kota Sukabumi bekerja sebagai pekerja kantoran, sehingga mempengaruhi pemahaman mereka terhadap program pendidikan untuk anak-anak mereka baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian ini terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Penerapan Techno parenting dapat menyelaraskan pengasuhan dan pendidikan anak di sekolah dengan keterlibatan orang tua di rumah, karena keberhasilan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) sangat bergantung pada kerja sama antara lembaga pendidikan dan orang tua. Kata kunci: Digital, Techno Parenting, PAUD.

Abstract

Even though sex education is still considered taboo, it is an essential thing for children to protect their private body parts. This psychoeducation aims to provide knowledge about the body and how to keep sexual organs healthy, targeting children aged 5 to 6 years. The population of this study were students of Kindergarten B Permata Iman 2 Malang City. The research method used was experimental design (n=64, girls 51.56%) with paired sample t-test statistical analysis techniques. The results show that providing sexual education through storytelling picture books and posters can significantly increase their knowledge about private body parts. The instruments used in this pilot study are considered easy to understand. They can be used as reference material, which needs to be adapted to the local cultural wisdom of each region. Apart from that, it is important to provide sexual education to children from an early age to prevent inappropriate actions.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in strengthening the national economy because they contribute significantly to job creation and improving community welfare. Deli Serdang Regency is one of the regions with great potential for developing tempeh-based agro-industry, particularly tempeh chips, which are part of the local food value chain. However, the Asyifa MSME, managed by people with disabilities, faces serious obstacles in the initial stages of production, namely the manual, unhygienic process of peeling soybean skins, which takes 2–3 days to complete one production cycle. This condition reduces work efficiency, product quality, and business competitiveness in the local market. This community service program aims to address these problems through the application of appropriate technology in the form of a soybean skin peeling machine (dehuller) designed according to partner needs. Activities are implemented through structured stages that include participatory planning with partners,Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to identify technical and operational needs, technical training on machine use and maintenance, official handover of equipment, and intensive mentoring during the implementation phase to ensure the technology can be operated optimally and sustainably. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in production performance. The soybean peeling process, which previously required 2–3 days, can now be completed in less than one day for each production cycle. The level of product cleanliness and uniformity has also increased to 90%, while production capacity has increased by approximately 40% compared to conditions before the technology implementation. Overall, the implementation of this appropriate technology has proven effective in increasing production process efficiency, maintaining the quality of processed products, and strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs in an inclusive manner
