Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of using TikTok social media on the understanding of Islamic Education (PAI) among sixth-grade students at Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School in Pekanbaru, as well as to assess the quality of student learning after utilizing this social media platform. The methodology employed in this study is a quantitative approach, applying simple linear regression formulas. Data was collected through several techniques, including observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The sample consisted of 53 students. Data analysis was performed using simple regression formulas, while validity testing was conducted using the product moment method and reliability testing employed Cronbach's alpha.The findings indicate that the use of TikTok social media has an influence on students' understanding of PAI, evidenced by a linear regression result of 0.451. This suggests a significant impact of social media usage on the understanding of PAI among students at Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School in Pekanbaru. Furthermore, the contribution of social media usage to understanding learning is 20.3%, with the remaining 79.7% indicating that other factors also play a role in influencing students' understanding.

Abstract

Multicultural education in Indonesia plays a strategic role in fostering a national character that values cultural diversity. This study aims to explore the role of local wisdom in shaping the identity of multicultural education through a literature review based on sociological and anthropological perspectives in education. The research method used is a qualitative literature review, analyzing various academic sources, including journals, books, and relevant documents.The findings indicate that local wisdom, which encompasses values such as tolerance, mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and respect for differences, serves as an effective medium for building cultural identity and character among students elementary school. From a sociological perspective, multicultural education rooted in local wisdom strengthens social relationships and harmony among cultural groups. Meanwhile, from the perspective of educational anthropology, local wisdom acts as a medium for preserving traditions that enrich cross-cultural learning. However, the implementation of multicultural education based on local wisdom faces several challenges, including limited teacher understanding of local cultures, inadequate culturally relevant teaching materials, and insufficient support from national education policies. This study is expected to contribute significantly to the development of multicultural education in Indonesia and encourage more inclusive policies rooted in local culture.

Abstract

The lack of utilization of innovative learning media and classroom reading corners during learning at SDN Jatisari Semarang has an impact on students' reading comprehension skills in the Indonesian Language subject. The purpose of this study was to describe the steps of implementing the Ludo Narasi Sejarah learning media based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) and to test the effectiveness of the Ludo Narasi Sejarah learning media based on CRT in improving the reading comprehension skills of fourth grade students at SDN Jatisari Semarang. This study used a combination method (mix method) that collected quantitative and qualitative data simultaneously. The qualitative method used was descriptive qualitative whose data was obtained from the application of the Ludo Narasi Sejarah learning media based on CRT. The quantitative method used was the pretest-posttest one group design whose data was obtained from the pretest and posttest. The results of the study showed that the application of the Ludo Narasi Sejarah learning media based on CRT with a cooperative learning model consisted of 6 stages, namely conveying objectives and motivating students, presenting information, organizing students in groups, guiding study groups, evaluating, and giving awards. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, it is known that the Ludo Narasi Sejarah learning media based on CRT is effective in improving students' reading comprehension as indicated by the average pretest score of 58 to 80.14 during the posttest, and the N-Gain test results obtained a value of 0.52 with moderate criteria. From these results, it can be concluded that the application of the Ludo Narasi Sejarah learning media based on CRT is effective in improving the reading comprehension of fourth grade students of SDN Jatisari Semarang.

Abstract

Quality education is education that successfully achieves well-defined goals, satisfies and meets expectations. The aims of this research are 1) to analyze the influence of the role of the principal on the quality of education, 2) to analyze the influence of the school climate on the quality of education, 3) to analyze the influence of the role of the principal and the school climate together on the quality of education. Quantitative research approach with survey methods. Type of correlational research. The research population was 221 teachers and the research sample was 142 teachers. Data collection with questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using descriptive data analysis, prerequisite tests which include normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, linearity tests and hypothesis tests including simple and multiple linear regression. The research results show that: 1) the role of the school principal influences the quality of education by 68.7%, with the regression equation Ŷ = 2.721 + 0.487 X1. with a correlation coefficient value of 0.829. 2) school climate influences the quality of education by 79.9%, with a regression equation Ŷ = 0.629 + 1.119 X2 with a correlation coefficient of 0.894. 3) the role of the principal and the school climate influence the quality of education by 80.6%, with the equation Ŷ = 3.053 + 0.106 X1 + 0.920 X2 then the correlation coefficient r is 0.898. The conclusion of this research is that the role of the principal and the school climate influence the quality of education by 80.6%. The author suggests that school principals reflect and evaluate the role of the principal and the school climate. Teachers can take part in training and seminars in order to improve school quality.

Abstract

The work environment plays a crucial role in determining employee effectiveness and productivity. A positive work environment not only impacts individual performance but also affects social interactions among employees. Good social interaction can improve collaboration, communication and team cohesiveness which in turn can contribute to a more harmonious and productive work atmosphere. However, factors such as work pressure, lack of communication, and unsupportive organizational culture often hinder relationships between employees. The purpose of this study is to assess how a positive work environment can contribute to social interaction among employees. By understanding this relationship, it is hoped that companies can develop more effective strategies to create a work environment that is not only productive, but also harmonious. This is important for improving individual and team performance, as well as creating a better work culture within an organization. The research method used is a qualitative method with interview and group discussion techniques to collectively explore employees' views on the work environment and its relationship with social interaction. Then select one educational institution that has a positive work environment and analyze its impact on social interaction in it. The results of this study show that there is a significant positive relationship between a positive work environment and the level of social interaction. Employees who work in a supportive environment, such as open communication and management support show higher levels of social interaction.

Abstract

The aim of this research is based on the fact that children are the nation's next generation who will grow and develop according to their age. By introducing emotions from an early age, children's emotions will develop and become one of the supporters of success in their future lives, accompanied by the formation of important social attitudes through good parenting in order to foster positive emotions and empathy in children. Because basically a low level of emotional intelligence will lead children to have negative social attitudes, such as having difficulty managing their emotions so they cannot solve the problems they face, being vindictive, always feeling right, being easily offended, easily getting emotional, and so on. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of emotional intelligence and social attitudes towards the learning discipline of class III students at SDN 01 Kebondalem. This type of research uses quantitative methods with a sample population of 15 respondents from class III students at SDN 01 Kebondalem. The sampling technique used was a non-random sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with the classic assumption test, t test and F test. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between the variables between the level of emotional intelligence (X1), social attitudes (X2) and the learning discipline of class III students at SDN 01 Kebondalem (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the teacher's strategy in shaping the character of student discipline in SMAN 1 Aikmel, which is reviewed from: 1) the teacher's strategy in shaping the character of student discipline in SMAN 1 Aikmel, 2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping the character of student discipline in SMAN 1 Aikmel. The research approach uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research subjects were determined using the Snowball Sampling technique and the data analysis technique using the Miles and Huberman model which consisted of several components, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The procedure for obtaining data uses observation guidesheets, interview guideline sheets and documentation sheets. Interview and observation sheets are used as a reference to find out how teachers strategies in shaping students disciplinary character. The results of the data acquisition will then be reduced according to the information needed, then the data will be presented and finally the conclusion of the data results that have been analyzed. The results of the research show that 1) teachers strategies in shaping student discipline characters at SMAN 1 Aikmel, namely through learning/designing lesson plans, habituation, example, regulations, punishment and rewards; 2) the driving factors in shaping the character of student discipline, namely from within the student and from the school environment. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is from the family environment and the technological factor is the unwise use of cellphones.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' curiosity, focus, teamwork, and motivation. By creating challenging problems, this model can increase students' interest in solving them. The method used in this research is quantitative, focusing on statistical data analysis. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an influence of the problem-based learning model on students' learning motivation. The research sample consists of 40 tenth-grade students, selected using random sampling techniques. The data analysis tools include validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, as well as simple linear regression analysis, determination tests, and t-tests. The results of the simple linear regression analysis show the regression equation Y = 14.803 + 0.906 X, indicating that the application of the problem-based learning model has an influence of 0.906 on students' learning motivation. From the determination test, an R Square value of 84.0% was obtained, and the t-test results show that the calculated t-value is greater than the table t-value (14.144 > 1.667). Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that the problem-based learning model has a positive effect on students' learning motivation.

Laksitorini, Indriyati. 2024. Pengaruh Supervisi Akademik, Kompetensi Profesional dan Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran terhadap Mutu Pendidikan SD Negeri Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung. Semarang: Pascasarjana Universitas PGRI Semarang. Pembimbing I:, Dr. Titik Haryati, M.Si. Pembimbing II: Dr. Widya Kusumaningsih, M.Pd. Latar belakang masalah penelitian ini berkaitan dengan Mutu Pendidikan SD di Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung yaitu berdasarkan Rapor Pendidikan Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung Tahun 2022 dari empat dimensi yang mencapai kategori Hijau (Baik) rata-rata baru pada tingkat 24,05%, kategori cukup 53,73%, dan kateogir kurang 22,2%. Hal ini berarti 75,95% masih berada kategori cukup dan kurang. Mutu Pendidikan ditingkatkan dengan berbagai strategi di antaranya dengan Supervisi Akademik, meningkatkan Kompetensi Profesional guru dan Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh Supervisi Akademik, Kompetensi Profesional guru dan Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran sekolah terhadap Mutu Pendidikan sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Kaloran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah semua guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung berjumlah 209 guru dan sampel penelitian 138 guru. Analisis penelitian ini meliputi analisis uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji multikolinearitas, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Uji hipotesis meliputi uji regresi sederhana dan uji regresi ganda, uji F (ANOVA) dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) Supervisi Akademik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Mutu Pendidikan, berdasar hasil Uji t, terbukti t hitung 7,966 > t tabel 1,977, dan nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, besarnya pengaruh 31,5%; (2) Kompetensi Profesional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Mutu Pendidikan, berdasarkan hasil uji t terbukti thitung l yaitu 7,405 ≥ 1,977, dan nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, besarnya pengaruh adalah 28,9%, (3) Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Mutu Pendidikan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil uji t terbukti thitung ≥ ttabel 6,341 ≥ 1,977, dan nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05. Besarnya pengaruh Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran terhadap variabel Mutu Pendidikan adalah 22,9%, (4) Supervisi Akademik, Kompetensi Profesional dan Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap variabel Mutu Pendidikan diperoleh lFhitung sebesar 46,799 dengan taraf signifikan 0.000. Hasil penghitungan diperoleh nilai lFhitung > lFtabel (46,799 > l2,67) dan nilai signifikansinya 0,000 < 0,005. Besarnya sumbagan efektif dari ketiga variabel bebas adalah sebesar 50,3%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited use of reading interest learning media in reading materials, especially Indonesian language compositions. The Feasibility of Flashcard Media for Selecting Grade IV Students of SD Negeri Cangkiran 01 Semarang City Who Are the Most Motivated and Information of SD Negeri Cangkiran 01 in Selecting Grade IV Students of SD Negeri Cangkiran 01 Semarang City Who Are the Most Unused. flashcard media on reading materials for. This type of research can be in the form of development research (research and development/R&D) using ADDIE illustrations and consists of the following stages: testing, designing, developing, using, and evaluating. The population of this study consisted of all students of SD Negeri Cangkiran 01 in the 2024/2025 academic year, and a sample of 25 grade IV students selected using a probability testing strategy, namely simple random testing. Information for this study was obtained through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the flashcard media assessment, the media master assessment survey reached a very good standard of 97.3%, the material master assessment reached a very good standard of 93.75%, and the educator assessment survey reached a very good standard of 93.75% of the field data that had been filled in reached a very good standard of 96%. The very good standard and Student Responses Achieved in the Assessment Reached a very good standard of 98.8%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that flashcard media is very useful and important for learning Indonesian in Elementary Schools with teachers equipped with the ability to utilize flashcard media to teach reading texts.
