Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

In an increasingly competitive world of education, educational institutions must maintain quality to remain relevant and attractive to the community, such as improving the quality of teachers, facilities, and curriculum. An example of innovation in improving the quality of education is Sekolah Merdeka Yogyakarta, which adopts a holistic approach to education, focusing on students' mental and emotional well-being in addition to academic achievement. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach and data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, covering various aspects related to quality improvement strategies implemented by school principals. Data analysis uses data reduction techniques to filter relevant information. The results showed that Sekolah Merdeka Yogyakarta implements a quality management strategy that focuses on students' mental and emotional development, in addition to academic achievement. The strategy includes developing a positive mindset, increasing students' emotional engagement, continuous training for teachers, and holistic assessment that evaluates students' progress as a whole. In addition, the role of parents in supporting children's mental health is an integral part of this strategy. This study shows that the holistic approach implemented by the school creates a balanced educational environment that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of regional autonomy implementation in village governance in relation to public service delivery in Sandik Village, Batulayar Subdistrict, West Lombok Regency. Regional autonomy grants the village authority to manage governance and public services that align with the needs of the local community. Sandik Village has implemented various public service programs, including administrative, health, education, literacy, and socio-economic development services, with the goal of improving community welfare. The research method used is qualitative, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of regional autonomy has had a positive impact on the quality of public services in various sectors, particularly in access to health and education. Additionally, the people of Sandik Village are able to participate in policy-making and oversight of village government performance. Regional autonomy implementation also allows village officials to take on greater responsibility in managing the village budget in a transparent and accountable manner. This study is expected to contribute to more effective policy formulation and raise public awareness to actively participate in village governance.

The independent curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning where content will be optimized so that learners have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. This study aims to ascertain and collect data related to the implementation of the independent curriculum in driving schools. This study is a systematic literature review, which aims to comprehensively review research related to the implementation of the independent curriculum in driving schools. The articles used were from 2022-2023. Principals and driving teachers have a major role in the implementation of the independent curriculum in driving schools. In its implementation, of course, obstacles are found. In addition, this study also describes activities in learning the independent curriculum. Character education is one of the main priorities in the education system in Indonesia. Currently, character education in Indonesia faces significant challenges. Character education creates a school environment that supports the ethical and responsible development of learners, through concrete examples and teaching of good universal values. The Pancasila Learner Profile is a concept developed by the Indonesian government to strengthen character education in schools. The research method used in this study is SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Data collection is done by identifying or reviewing articles that have the same research topic. The article used is the latest publication period 2022-2024. This article contains the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Project through three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The implementation stage also goes through several steps, namely: (1) Opening, (2) Delivery of P5 material, (3) Preparation of the P5 program. (4) P5 practice. (5) Evaluation of the level of teacher understanding of P5. In addition, there were several supports and obstacles that occurred during the implementation of P5. Supports include: 1) consistency and commitment from the school to implement P5; 2) collaboration of students and teachers; 3) the ability of teachers to implement P5; 4) active participation from parents; 5) support from the community and the environment, and; 6) complete facilities and infrastructure. While the obstacles found were: (1) differences in perceptions between facilitators due to the lack of preparedness of facilitators' mindset in implementing P5; (2) inadequate resources; (3) resistance from some students or parents to changes in learning approaches; (4) budget limitations; and (5) difficulties in character assessment. This study aims to analyse the use of the Wordwall platform as an interactive learning media in increasing the motivation to learn mathematics of grade II students at SDN Sungai Bambu 01. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, technological advances have a major impact on various aspects, including education, which requires educators to take advantage of technology in learning. Interesting and interactive media is proven to help overcome common problems in education, namely low student interest and motivation to learn, especially in mathematics lessons which are often considered monotonous. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaire, and literature study to obtain data related to the effectiveness of Wordwall. The results show that Wordwall is able to increase students' participation and motivation to learn, which can be seen from their activeness, enthusiasm, and courage to ask questions and actively participate in the learning process. By using Wordwall media, the learning environment becomes more dynamic, fun and conducive, thus contributing positively to students' understanding and interest in mathematics materials. This research contributes to the development of technology-based learning media and suggests educators to integrate Wordwall in learning activities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the teaching-learning process.

Misconceptions often occur in students, especially in mathematics learning. Rounding and estimating number material is a basic concept in numeracy learning. This study is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe the types of misconceptions and causes of misconceptions of fifth grade students in rounding and estimating number material. Misconceptions are classified into 2 types, namely conceptual errors and arithmetic operation errors. The subjects of the study were 13 fifth grade students of SDN Cigandeng 1. The instruments in this study were tests, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the Miles and Huberman data model analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study showed that the results of observations and interviews conducted by the researcher said that the mistakes made by students in solving problems related to rounding and estimating material included conceptual errors and operational errors in applying rounding and estimating material. These errors occur because students do not really understand how to round a number and estimate a correct word.

This study aims to analyze the strategy of increasing the competitiveness of Madrasah in the digital era. The method of writing this article uses literature study or literature research. Manage and analyze reference sources from articles, journals, and other sources from the internet. The results of this study show that the implementation or application of strategies to increase the competitiveness of madrasas in the digital era through branding image by forming superior programs, increasing achievements, and shaping the character of akhlakul karimah will make madrasas have a positive image in the surrounding environment, and can build progress for madrasas in the future, including in the era of society 5.0, and with the branding strategy image of madrasas managed to get a positive image from the community, the institution can also maintain its quality and quality can generate full trust from the community.

Learning that is fixated on textbooks and does not utilize innovative teaching materials and learning media impacts the weak understanding of Indonesian cultural diversity material for fourth-grade students of Jatisari Elementary School. Indonesian diversity material is material that requires the ability to understand, remember, and memorize, so it needs to be supported by innovative teaching materials and visual media to help students understand the material more easily and arouse student interest. This study aims to describe the steps of implementing visual handouts of Indonesian cultural diversity assisted by culture card media and to test its effectiveness in improving the ability to understand Indonesian cultural diversity material for fourth-grade students of Jatisari Elementary School. The research method used is a mixed method that collects qualitative and quantitative data simultaneously. The qualitative method used is descriptive qualitative to describe the steps of implementing visual handouts assisted by culture card media in the learning process of Indonesian cultural diversity material. The quantitative method used is a pretest-posttest one-group design whose data is obtained from the pretest and post-test scores. The results showed an increase in the average pretest to the post-test score, which was 57.2 to 83.1 and the results of the N-Gain test obtained a value of 0.61 with moderate criteria. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of visual handouts assisted by culture card media is quite effective in improving the understanding of Indonesian cultural diversity in grade IV students of Jatisari Elementary School.

The purpose of this study is to see the feasibility of developing project-based learning-based flipbooks on mathematical problem-solving abilities seen from validity, practicality and effectiveness. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with an ADDIE research design. This research was carried out at Sirajun Jadid Islamic Junior High School Pontianak with a trial subject of 30 grade VII students. From the validity results, it shows that the validity of the media reaches a percentage of 89.08% and the validation of the material is a percentage of 97.73 with the criterion of "very valid". The Flipbook developed is also practical to use with the percentage of teacher response questionnaires of 92% of the "very practical" criteria and student response questionnaires of 92.47% of the "very practical" criteria. The effectiveness is seen from the results of the posttest with ,... Students are complete and ... incomplete students get a percentage of .... criteria of "very effective". Based on these results, it is concluded that the developed flipbook is suitable for use in learning.

Disciplinary behavior is one of the factors that determine success in carrying out the activities of an organization. This study aims to analyze the relationship between disciplinary behavior and characteristics of organizational activities in seven student activity units at STIE Indonesia Jakarta. Using descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews and observations of core administrators and active members from Senat Mahasiswa, Hima Manajemen, Remaja Majelis Nurul I'tishom, Sakuntala, Bulutangkis, Seni Budaya, and Karate. The results showed that participation and attendance were influenced by the level of commitment and interest in routine activities, such as training. Internal factors, such as the role of the chairman and social support among members, as well as external factors, such as a busy lecture schedule, affect the discipline of members. Efforts to improve discipline are made through member self-awareness, consistent communication, and fair application of discipline rules. A firm and wise leader and a structured schedule of activities also play an important role in improving discipline. This research reveals that high discipline will support the achievement of organizational goals, strengthen relationships between members, and improve the quality of student activity unit work results.
