Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SMA Negeri 12 Merangin. The evaluation focuses on three main aspects, namely planning, implementation, and implementation results. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation of the principal, vice principal for curriculum, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and grade XI Phase F1 students. The results of the study indicate that learning planning has referred to the principles of the Independent Curriculum through the preparation of ATP, CP, and teaching modules that integrate the values ​​of the Pancasila Student Profile. The implementation of learning shows a shift from a teacher-centered to a student-centered approach, although some teachers are still in the adaptation stage. Evaluation of the results shows an increase in student participation and understanding of Islamic Religious Education material, but obstacles are still found such as limited time, teacher readiness, and adaptation to the use of technology. This study concludes that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 12 Merangin has gone quite well, but further assistance and training are needed to optimize the implementation of the curriculum.

Abstract

Mathematics learning at the elementary school level still faces challenges because the material presented tends to be abstract, making it difficult for students to understand the concept of place value and perform addition of whole numbers. According to Piaget's theory, children aged 7 to 11 are in the concrete operational stage, thus requiring tangible media to understand abstract concepts. This aligns with Bruner's representation theory, where concrete media such as the Champion Board can help students visualize the addition process through place value columns and ice cream sticks. This study aims to describe elementary school teachers' perspectives on the effectiveness of using this media. The study uses a qualitative approach with interviews conducted with classroom teachers as the data source. Research results show that the Champion Board helps students understand place value, improve concentration, reduce calculation errors, and make the learning process more engaging. Thus, the use of concrete media is proven to be in line with students' cognitive development stages and has the potential to enhance the quality of mathematics learning.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the internet and social media have become essential spaces for the development of Islamic preaching (dakwah). Digital media now serves as a primary channel for disseminating religious messages due to its rapid, visual, and easily accessible nature. Generation Z, who grew up alongside technology, prefers Islamic content that is brief, creative, and attractively packaged. Consequently, concise, visual, and message-focused digital dakwah proves more effective in reaching this generation. Digital dakwah has been shown to enhance religious understanding, encourage positive behavioral changes, and build religious communities capable of adapting to digital culture. However, several challenges remain, including the spread of content that contradicts Islamic teachings, biased information, and the negative impacts of social media on youth mindsets. Overall, digital dakwah plays a significant role in shaping the religious awareness of Generation Z, especially when supported by strong digital literacy. This study aims to examine how digital dakwah influences the religious understanding and awareness of Generation Z adolescents. Using a qualitative method based on library research, complemented by findings from previous studies on youth religious behavior in digital spaces, the analysis reveals that platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Spotify are the primary media through which adolescents access Islamic content.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of religious habituation activities and their role in shaping the religious character of students at Al Chusnaini Islamic Elementary School located in Sidoarjo Regency. The research used a qualitative approach with an ethnographic type. Ethnography is research that focuses on describing and understanding the culture of a group comprehensively through long-term participant observation. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with supervising teachers, classroom teachers, and documentation during the four-month teaching assistance activities. The results of the study indicate that religious practices carried out regularly and consistently, such as congregational prayers, recitation of the Qur'an, and communal prayers, are able to instill religious values such as discipline, honesty, responsibility, and politeness in students. Supporting factors for success include the involvement of teachers as role models, a conducive school environment, and the role of parents. Meanwhile, the main challenges stem from a lack of awareness among students, differences in family backgrounds, and negative influences from the outside environment. Thus, religious habituation is an effective strategy in religious character education if it is implemented in an integrated and sustainable manner.

Abstract

The development of digital education in the 4.0 era demands innovative learning media that can provide a more interactive, adaptive, and relevant learning experience for elementary school students. Canva-based multimedia is an effective alternative because it provides an attractive, flexible visual design that is easy for both teachers and students to operate. The integration of image, animation, audio, and text elements in one platform allows students to process information through various representational channels, thereby increasing engagement, focus, and deeper understanding of concepts. The use of Canva in learning has also been proven to contribute to the development of critical thinking skills and creativity, as it encourages students to analyze information, evaluate ideas, and produce original visual works. In addition, this media can create a more collaborative learning atmosphere, provide space for exploration, and increase learning motivation through an attractive display that is in line with the characteristics of the digital generation. Overall, the implementation of Canva-based interactive multimedia has great potential in improving the quality of the learning process and outcomes of elementary school students, especially in higher-level cognitive aspects that require active stimulation and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digitalization in the Land and Building Tax (PBB) payment system and its effectiveness on PBB revenue realization in Sukabumi Utara Subdistrict. The research is motivated by the government’s need to improve efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in tax payment processes through the use of digital technology. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, focus group discussions (FGD), and analysis of PBB revenue documents from 2017 to 2024. The findings reveal that digitalization through mobile banking, e-commerce platforms, and payment points has technically simplified the payment process. However, its effectiveness has not reached its full potential due to gaps between the ideal digital system and actual conditions in the field. Key obstacles include low levels of digital literacy among residents, limited socialization regarding regulatory changes, annual variations in PBB policies, and difficulties accessing or downloading digital Tax Notification Letters (SPPT). The revenue data also show significant fluctuations, which are more strongly influenced by fiscal policy changes than by digitalization itself. This is evident from sharp increases in revenue in 2020 and 2023, driven by adjustments in property value assessments (NJOP) and tax exemption policies. Gap analysis indicates that fiscal regulations exert a stronger influence than the convenience offered by digital payment systems. The study concludes that while digitalization enhances efficiency and transparency, improved tax revenue requires more intensive regulatory socialization, automated notification systems, and stable policy frameworks. Recommendations include providing digital assistance services at the subdistrict office and improving community digital literacy to optimize PBB revenue and local government income.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Interactive Culture-Based Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) for Riau to improve argumentative writing skills in elementary schools. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). The results showed that the interactive E-LKPD developed was highly valid with an average score of 96.24% and was very practical for use by teachers (93.64%) and students (87.8%). This E-LKPD is also able to increase learning motivation, understanding of argumentative text structure, and critical and creative thinking skills. The integration of Riau culture, which includes traditional houses and Malay ornaments, makes learning more contextual, meaningful, and brings students closer to real experiences. Additionally, the E-LKPD serves as a medium for preserving local culture while supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Therefore, the interactive E-LKPD based on Riau culture is recommended as an innovative learning medium alternative that supports active and independent learning in teaching argumentative text writing at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This article aims to: (1) explain the validity level of two-level multiple-choice formative assessment using Educaplay on data material in elementary schools, (2) explain the reliability level of two-tier multiple-choice formative assessment using Educaplay on data material in elementary schools, (3) explain the practicality level of formative assessment using Educaplay on data material in elementary schools. The research approach used was Research and Development (R&D) with the DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate) model. This research was conducted at SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. The research data was obtained from observations, interviews, language, material, and media validation questionnaires, as well as feasibility questionnaires for teachers and students. The product validity level was evaluated by validators, with material validation obtaining a final score of 3.77 in the “valid” category, media validation 4.55 in the “very valid” category, and language validation 4.65 in the “very valid” category. The level of practicality of the product was obtained from the assessment of the teacher response questionnaire of 4.81 with the category of “very practical”, small group student responses of 4.6 with the category of “very practical”, and large group student responses of 4.4 with the category of “very practical”. Based on the final assessment of validity and practicality data, the developed product is suitable for use and can be utilized in the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan game edukasi Wordwall pada meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan inovasi media pembelajaran yang mampu menumbuhkan minat dan semangat belajar siswa di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur sistematis dengan menelusuri dan menganalisis sejumlah penelitian relevan yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar, dan berfokus pada publikasi ilmiah periode 2022–2025. Seleksi literatur dilakukan berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang mencakup relevansi topik, kualitas metodologi, serta kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Wordwall secara signifikan berpotensi meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar melalui elemen interaktif dan kompetitif yang menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa integrasi game edukasi seperti Wordwall dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dan mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa di kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to address the lack of engaging and interactive digital learning media used in early reading activities at TK B Yaspa by developing an interactive PowerPoint media based on Canva. The research employed the first three stages of the 4D development model—define, design, and develop—ending at the validation phase. During the define stage, observations and teacher interviews revealed that children showed limited interest and required more visually appealing media to support early literacy. In the design stage, a flowchart and storyboard were created to guide the structure, content arrangement, and interactive features of the media. The develop stage involved producing the learning media by integrating child-friendly visuals, simple text, audio elements, and interactive navigation. The resulting product was then validated by material and media experts. The validation results showed that the media achieved 92.86% from the material expert and 92.5% from the media expert, both categorized as “Highly Valid.” These results indicate that the media is feasible and appropriate to support early reading literacy.
