Abstract

This article examines the implementation of scientific ethics–based learning as a strategy to strengthen the character of elementary school students. Scientific ethics refers to principles of honesty, objectivity, responsibility, and respect for human dignity that guide learning practices. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis to describe how teachers apply ethical values in teaching. The findings show that teachers integrate scientific ethics through objective assessment, fair guidance, inquiry-based learning, and ethical use of technology. Teachers also adapt learning strategies for students with diverse abilities to ensure fairness and respect for student dignity. The study concludes that scientific ethics–based learning strengthens student character, enhances classroom interactions, and supports teachers in making humane and responsible pedagogical decisions. The results highlight the need for teacher training, integrity-oriented school policies, and strengthened ethical digital literacy in elementary education

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Concept Sentence cooperative model assisted by Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media on students' narrative text writing skills. The problem faced is the low narrative text writing skills of students in the learning process. This study used a quantitative approach with the population being all students of SDN Ungaran 01, while the samples were students of classes IV A and IV B of SDN Ungaran 01. Data analysis was carried out through normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-test and regression tests. The results showed: (1) There was a significant difference between the experimental class using the Concept Sentence cooperative model assisted by Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media and the control class using the Concept Sentence cooperative model without Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 based on the independent sample t-test. (2) There was an effect of the Concept Sentence cooperative model assisted by Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media on students' narrative text writing skills, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 based on the regression test. The conclusion of this study is that the Concept Sentence cooperative model assisted by Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media is effective in improving students' narrative text writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive video on emotion regulation for children aged 5-6 years in Prabumulih City as a response to the limited availability of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning media that support children’s social-emotional growth. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, combined with Tessmer’s formative evaluation through expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. The developed product features interactive activities, basic emotion recognition, breathing exercises, and simple situational responses tailored to early childhood characteristics. The validation results indicate that the media is highly valid, with material validation scoring 97% and media validation scoring 96%. The practicality test also shows excellent results, with an 88% score in the one-to-one evaluation and 93% in the small group evaluation, resulting in an average practicality score of 90%, categorized as highly practical. These findings demonstrate that the interactive video is easy to use, engaging, and effectively supports children in expressing, recognizing, understanding, and regulating their emotions. Thus, the interactive emotion regulation video is considered valid, practical, and suitable for use as instructional media to enhance social-emotional learning in early childhood education settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze multi-platform da'wah strategies through the integration of websites, YouTube, and Instagram as media for disseminating multicultural Islamic values. This research employs a library research method by examining scholarly literature, academic articles, research reports, and relevant digital sources to identify patterns, concepts, and effective strategies for cross-platform digital da'wah. The findings indicate that multi-platform integration enhances the reach of da'wah, increases message effectiveness, and builds two-way interactions that support the internalization of multicultural Islamic values such as tolerance, respect for diversity, dialogue, and religious moderation. Digital da'wah is no longer limited to information delivery but has transformed into a participatory, adaptive, and responsive communication ecosystem aligned with the dynamics of digital society. This study asserts that the synergy between Islamic content and multicultural principles, when optimized through cross-platform communication design, can serve as an essential pillar for inclusive da'wah in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas program pelatihan daur ulang minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran ekologi dan kewirausahaan berkelanjutan peserta didik kesetaraan di SKB Kabupaten Serang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 10 peserta didik yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi selama pelaksanaan pelatihan satu hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya transformasi signifikan dalam pemahaman lingkungan peserta, dimana mereka tidak hanya menyadari dampak negatif pembuangan minyak jelantah sembarangan, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan praktis dalam mengolah limbah menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi. Program ini berhasil menumbuhkan pola pikir kewirausahaan berkelanjutan dengan teridentifikasinya inisiatif peserta untuk mengembangkan usaha mandiri berbasis daur ulang. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya integrasi pendidikan lingkungan yang aplikatif dalam kurikulum pendidikan kesetaraan serta perlunya program pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan implementasi jangka panjang dari pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh peserta. Abstract

This literature review synthesizes recent empirical research on distributed leadership and its impact on schools, with a focus on student achievement, teacher outcomes, and organizational effectiveness. A narrative review approach was used to provide a thematic synthesis of findings and theoretical developments. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database using the search strings TITLE (distributed AND leadership) AND TITLE (school), yielding 197 peer-reviewed journal articles. After applying inclusion criteria focusing on English-language publications and journal articles, 35 studies were selected for in-depth qualitative analysis. The review differentiates between structural and functional distributed leadership and finds that a functional approach emphasizing collaboration and shared decision-making produces more consistently positive outcomes. Evidence suggests that distributed leadership improves student performance and teacher professional growth through mediating factors such as teacher collaboration, organizational trust, and professional learning communities. However, challenges remain, including unclear role boundaries, resistance to authority changes, and cultural barriers within hierarchical school systems. The review highlights the need for context-sensitive implementation supported by professional development and a collaborative organizational culture. Future research should expand longitudinal and cross-cultural studies to better understand how distributed leadership develops over time and operates in diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the low ability of students in retelling fable texts,especially related to the mastery of linguistic and non-linguistic factors whenspeaking in front of the class. One of the learning methods that is consideredcapable of improving these skills is the storytelling method, because it emphasizesstorytelling activities in an interesting and communicative manner. The purpose ofthis study is to describe the ability to retell fable texts before and after theapplication of the storytelling learning method and to determine the effect of themethod on the ability to retell fable texts of class X students of SMA Negeri 3Lengayang. This study uses a quantitative method with a pre-experimental designthrough one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 30 class Xstudents of phase E7 who were selected based on the lowest average score fromseven classes. The research data were obtained through oral tests before andafter treatment, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and ttests. The results showed that the average ability to retell fable texts of studentsbefore using the storytelling method was in the sufficient category with an averagescore of 60.61. After implementing the storytelling method, students' abilitiesimproved significantly, with an average score of 79.00, falling into the goodcategory. The t-test results showed a calculated t value of 10.85, greater than thet-table value of 1.70 at a significance level of 0.05. This indicates that thestorytelling learning method has a positive effect on students' ability to tell fabletexts.Keywords: storytelling, storytelling ability, fable texts, Indonesian languagelearning

Abstract

Rendahnya budaya membaca di Indonesia menjadi tantangan yang ikut dirasakan di Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Kabupaten Serang, di mana fasilitas literasi yang tersedia belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh warga belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi program pojok baca sebagai upaya mendorong budaya membaca di lingkungan pendidikan nonformal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan keterlibatan langsung dalam kegiatan Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) selama dua minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pojok baca yang ditata secara nyaman dan melibatkan warga belajar dalam proses penataannya mampu meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi mereka dalam aktivitas literasi. Warga belajar mulai menunjukkan perubahan perilaku berupa kebiasaan memilih membaca secara mandiri, berdiskusi mengenai isi bacaan, serta memanfaatkan ruang baca sebagai bagian dari rutinitas belajar. Implementasi ini juga memperkuat rasa kepemilikan terhadap fasilitas literasi karena dikembangkan melalui pendekatan kolaboratif antara mahasiswa PLP dan warga belajar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pojok baca merupakan strategi efektif untuk membangun budaya membaca yang berkelanjutan di SKB. Keberlanjutan program sangat bergantung pada pengelolaan rutin, penambahan koleksi bacaan, serta dukungan lembaga dalam menjaga pojok baca tetap aktif meskipun mahasiswa PLP tidak lagi berada di SKB. Kata Kunci : literasi, pojok baca, minat baca, pendidikan nonformal, SKB Kabupaten Serang.

Abstract

Pembentukan karakter kepada anak, khususnya jenjang sekolah dasar sangat penting. Namun realitanya, karakter dan moral siswa semakin merosot dalam dunia pendidikan. SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu sekolah swasta unggulan yang berfokus pada pembentukan karakrer dan moral siswanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) strategi pembentukan karakter siswa melalui program ‘shalih’; (2) strategi pembentukan karakter siswa melalui program ‘pembelajar’; (3) strategi pembentukan karakter siswa melalui program ‘pemimpin’; (4) strategi pembentukan karakter siswa melalui program ‘bisnis’ di SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis data didasarkan pada teori Miles dan Huberman, yaitu (i) penggumpulan data, (ii) redukai data, (iii) penyajian data, dan (iv) penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Kemudian, triangulasi teknik melalui wawancara dengan narasumber secara langsung. Kemudian, tianggulasi sumber melalui kegiatan observasi dan dokumentasi di lapangan. SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Yogyakarta membentuk karakter siswa melalui pendekatan empat pilar sekolah alam, yaitu ‘shalih’, ‘pembelajar’, ‘pemimpin’, dan ‘bisnis’. Program ‘shalih’ dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan keteladanan dan pembiasaan. Program ‘pembelajar’ dilaksanakan kegiatan belajar bersama alam (BBA) dan riset. Program ‘pemimpin’ melalui kegiatan pramuka dan outbound. Terakhir, program ‘bisnis’ dilakukan melalui kegiatan berkebun, beternak, dan berjualan. Kata Kunci: sekolah alam, karakter, pilar pendidikan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of morning assembly as a strategy to strengthen student character at SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. The research was conducted using a case study approach with data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that morning assembly serves as a structured routine that contributes to building student discipline, responsibility, respect, religiosity, and patriotism. The implementation includes activities such as lining up, praying, singing national songs, delivering moral messages, and providing school information. The strategy for character strengthening is carried out through teacher modeling, habituation, direct supervision, moral reinforcement, positive feedback, and student involvement as assembly officers. The study also identifies several obstacles, including student tardiness, inconsistency in line discipline, lack of support from home routines, and weather disturbances. Despite these constraints, morning assembly has a significant positive impact on improving student discipline and creating a more conducive school environment. The results of this study highlight the importance of habitual school routines as an effective means of character education in elementary schools.
