Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of digital comics that can increase students' interest in learning Mathematics, especially in the material of flat geometry in elementary schools. The background of this study is based on the low interest of students in learning mathematics which is considered difficult and less interesting, as well as the limitations of learning media used by teachers in conveying abstract geometric concepts. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) from Thiagarajan. The subjects of the trial in this study were fifth grade students at SD Swasta Kasih Ibu Medan. Data were obtained through validation questionnaires from material experts, media experts, teachers, and student learning interest questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the digital comic media developed had a high level of validity, good practicality, and significant effectiveness in increasing students' interest in learning. This media was declared suitable for use as a mathematics learning aid because it was able to visualize abstract concepts to be more concrete, fun, and easy for students to understand. Thus, digital comic media has proven to be an innovative solution in increasing students' interest in learning and enriching the variety of learning media in the classroom.

This study aims to develop scientific-based teaching materials to improve elementary school students' mathematics learning outcomes, especially in flat geometry material in grade IV. The background of this study is based on the low mathematics learning outcomes of students caused by the assumption that mathematics is a difficult subject, the lack of interesting teaching materials, and the lack of a scientific approach in the learning process. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) with a 4D model consisting of the Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination stages. The subjects of this study were 20 fourth-grade students of Kasih Ibu Private Elementary School, Medan. Data collection instruments consisted of observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The validation results showed that the developed teaching materials were included in the categories of "very feasible" and "very effective" in improving mathematics learning outcomes. Thus, these scientific-based teaching materials can be used as an alternative learning resource that is interactive and relevant to students' needs in understanding mathematical concepts

This study aims to analyze the cognitive understanding level of Grade VII students at SMP Advent Nabire regarding values and norms, their interpretation of the role of values in social interaction, and its contribution to the formation of self and environmental awareness. The background of this study is based on the unique challenges in Nabire, Central Papua, where students face complex interactions between religious values, local customs, and global influences through social media. This study uses a sequential exploratory mixed methods approach. Data were collected through cognitive tests, in-depth interviews, and observations of 30 Grade VII students. The results showed that students' cognitive understanding was in the medium category with an average of 68.5. Students tend to be strong in memorizing definitions but weak in case analysis (C4). Interpretatively, students adhere more to customary and family norms than formal school rules, and experience value ambivalence due to social media exposure. In conclusion, students' transactional understanding (fear of sanctions) has not contributed optimally to forming reflective self-awareness and consistent environmental awareness

This study aims to describe the effect of using Canva-based interactive multimedia on the ability of addition and subtraction of fractional numbers in grade V of elementary school. This study uses a quantitative approach of the Pre experimental design type. The design used in this study is one group design, where there is only one experimental class. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference in the average value of the ability of fractional arithmetic operations in the experimental class. This can be seen from the results of the t-test using an independent sample t-test, obtained a t-count value greater than the t-table value, namely 8.472 > 1.708, and a significance value of P-value 0.00 < 0.05. then Ho is accepted. Then based on the effect size test, the Cohens'd value of 2.357 is included in the large effect size criteria d > 0.8. Based on the results of the study, there is an effect of using Canva-based interactive multimedia on the ability of addition and subtraction of fractional numbers in grade V of elementary school. As well as a large influence of the use of Canva-based interactive multimedia on the ability of addition and subtraction of students' arithmetic operations.

This study aims to describe the level of academic language mastery and learning achievement of accounting students and to analyze the role of academic language mastery in improving students’ learning achievement. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design. The population consisted of students of the Accounting Department at Politeknik Negeri Bali, with samples selected using simple random sampling. Data on academic language mastery were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire, while learning achievement data were obtained from students’ Grade Point Average (GPA) records. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis. The results show that the mean score of students’ academic language mastery was 78.45 with a standard deviation of 6.21, which falls into the high category. Students’ learning achievement had a mean GPA of 3.42 with a standard deviation of 0.31, categorized as good. The regression analysis indicates that academic language mastery has a significant role in improving learning achievement, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a contribution of 31.6%. These findings indicate that academic language mastery is an important factor in supporting accounting students’ academic achievement.

Based on classroom observations conducted in Grade V of SD Negeri 2 Tiakur, it was found that Indonesian language learning, particularly in listening to folklore, was not yet optimal. The comprehension of the material delivered by the teacher had not been fully absorbed by the students, resulting in a generally low level of student engagement during the learning process. This condition was influenced by the limited and suboptimal use of instructional media, which failed to stimulate students’ motivation to learn. This study employed a quantitative research design with an experimental approach. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of audio media on students’ ability to listen to folklore. The research design used was a control group pretest–posttest design involving an experimental group and a control group. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the data analysis indicated that the use of audio-based instructional media had an effect on students’ listening skills in Indonesian language learning for Grade V students at SD Negeri 2 Tiakur. This finding was supported by the results of the Paired-Samples T Test, which showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.076 (> 0.05), indicating an effect of audio media on listening skills. Furthermore, the average learning outcomes of students in the experimental group increased from 54 to 80.2, while the control group, which applied conventional teaching methods, showed a smaller increase from 49.6 to 65.

This research is based on the limited use of learning media which causes students' learning outcomes to be classified as low. This research was conducted with the aim of developing a design, measuring feasibility, and assessing the effectiveness of the letter puzzle board media to improve the learning outcomes of grade I students at SD Negeri 56/I Desa Aro. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development stages. Techniques in data collection through interviews, observations, documentation, written tests and questionnaires. While the data analysis techniques are in the form of normality tests, T tests, and N-gain tests. The research findings show that the letter puzzle board learning media received the "very feasible" category based on expert validation results with a score of 93% (media experts) and 91% (material experts). The T test results obtained indicate a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The questionnaire responses of teachers (98%) and students (95%) obtained the "very feasible" category. The results of the N-Gain test obtained the "moderate" category (0.89) on a small scale and "high" (0.85) on a large scale. These results show that the letter puzzle board media is effective and very suitable for use to improve the learning outcomes of class I students at SD Negeri 56/I Desa Aro.

This research aims to analyze the readiness of information technology infrastructure to support digital transformation at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian based on three main stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies, then analyzed interactively. The research results show that in the planning aspect, schools have basic plans for the provision of ICT infrastructure, although they are still limited by budget availability. In the implementation aspect, the use of information technology infrastructure has been implemented in learning activities and is supported by teacher readiness, but still faces device and network limitations. Meanwhile, in the evaluation aspect, the assessment of ICT infrastructure is still carried out in a simple and unstructured manner. This research concludes that the readiness of information technology infrastructure at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian is in the quite ready category, but requires strengthening planning, optimizing implementation, and more systematic evaluation so that digital transformation can run sustainably.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a Game-Based Learning model assisted by crossword puzzles (GBL–TTS) in improving students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group that received instruction using the GBL–TTS model and a control group that was taught through conventional instructional methods. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and analyzed using prerequisite statistical tests followed by Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The results revealed a statistically significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups, with a significance value of p < 0.001. These findings indicate that the implementation of GBL–TTS is effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. The integration of game elements and crossword puzzle media promotes more interactive learning, increases student engagement, and strengthens students’ mastery of basic concepts. Therefore, game-based instructional media grounded in Game-Based Learning principles can serve as a strategic alternative for developing innovative and meaningful Pancasila Education learning practices.

This article aims to describe and analyze in depth the Transformation of the Internalization Strategy of Ecological Values in Islamic Religious Education Learning towards the Formation of Students' Ecological Habitus at MTs. Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study type. The research location is at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo Islamic Boarding School from September to November 2025. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. While data analysis in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
