Abstract

Evaluation in dance is often viewed as a subjective process that is difficult to standardize. This study aims to reformulate the definition of evaluation in the context of dance by considering pedagogical and professional aspects. Using qualitative methods through literature studies, this study analyzes various aesthetic theories and art criticism to find essential elements in the assessment of dance works. The results show that dance evaluation is a reflective-analytical process involving technical description, formal analysis, and interpretation of meaning. This definition shifts the evaluation paradigm from mere numerical assessment to a critical dialectic that bridges the choreographer's artistic vision with audience appreciation. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that a robust definition of evaluation is essential to ensure objectivity and improve the quality of contemporary dance development.

Abstract

This study explores the contribution of Qur’anic and Hadith-based ecotheology as an ethical framework in responding to the global environmental crisis, focusing on the case study of the 2025 flood disaster in Sumatra. Employing a qualitative approach with hermeneutic methods for religious texts and case study analysis, the research examines key concepts such as mizan (balance of nature), khalifah fil-ardh (human responsibility as stewards of the earth), the prohibition of israf (wastefulness), and Hadith teachings on tree planting and water conservation as ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah). Findings reveal that verses such as QS. Ar-Rum: 41 and QS. Al-A’raf: 56-58 portray environmental degradation as a consequence of human actions, while Prophetic Hadiths provide practical encouragement for ecosystem restoration. In the Sumatra flood case, triggered by deforestation, urbanization, and climate change, the disaster is interpreted as a manifestation of fasad fil-ardh, resulting in thousands of casualties and economic losses in the trillions of rupiah. Islamic ecotheology offers a holistic, spiritually grounded solution for mitigation and prevention, including reforestation campaigns and environmental education within Muslim communities. This research contributes theoretically to the development of Islamic ecotheology and provides practical recommendations for faith-based environmental policies in Indonesia to enhance resilience against the global climate crisis

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of student concepts which impacts the minimal learning outcomes of science. The Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by animated videos emphasizes student activeness in problem-solving learning with the help of animated video media. The Problem Based Learning learning model is very important because it increases student critical involvement in finding solutions to material problems, so that they are able to understand the material concepts in depth which has an impact on improving learning outcomes. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning learning model in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri Kalibanteng Kidul 02 West Semarang. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique, with a sample of 25 students in the experimental class and 26 students in the control class. Data collection with a written test of 20 items. Data analysis includes normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test which are processed with the help of SPSS version 23. The results of the study indicate that there is an effectiveness of the PBL learning model assisted by animated videos in improving the learning outcomes of science in grade V students of SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 02, proven by a pretest value of 71.20 and a posttest value of 89.40 with a difference in increase of 18.20. There is a difference in the effectiveness of the PBL learning model assisted by animated videos with conventional learning in improving the learning outcomes of science, which is shown by the difference in the average posttest value of the experimental class of 89.40 and the control class of 79.81 with a difference of 9.59.

Abstract

Dakwah plays a significant role in maintaining and strengthening social harmony in rural communities, particularly in Patokan Village, Bantaran District, Probolinggo Regency. In the context of village society, dakwah functions not only as a medium for conveying Islamic teachings but also as a means of social development and reinforcement of communal values. This study aims to analyze the role of dynamic dakwah in fostering social harmony within the community. The research employs a qualitative approach using a biographical study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Kyai Haji Fathur Rozi, village residents, students (santri), and other parties involved in dakwah activities, complemented by direct observation of the ongoing dakwah practices. The findings reveal that the dynamic dakwah implemented by Kyai Haji Fathur Rozi contributes significantly to the creation of a harmonious, peaceful, and tolerant social life. This contribution is reflected in a persuasive, inclusive, and culturally adaptive preaching approach, the strengthening of universal Islamic values, the development of community moral character, and active involvement in mitigating social conflicts. Therefore, contextual and community-based dynamic dakwah is proven to be effective in reinforcing social harmony in rural communities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fathers' love affirmations on the social-emotional abilities of early childhood children at Pembina 1 State Kindergarten, Surabaya. The family is the primary environment for children to gain early emotional experiences, where the father's role plays an important role in building emotional closeness and character development. However, the phenomenon of suboptimal father involvement in parenting is still common, resulting in the fulfillment of children's emotional needs, especially through love affirmations, not being fully met. This study aims to determine the effect of fathers' love affirmations on the social-emotional abilities of early childhood children. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The subjects of the study were early childhood children at Pembina 1 State Kindergarten, Surabaya, with data collection techniques using questionnaires given to parents and observation sheets for children's social-emotional development. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques through regression tests to determine the magnitude of the influence of fathers' love affirmations on children's social-emotional abilities. The results showed that fathers' love affirmations have an influence on children's social-emotional abilities, although their contribution is in the low category. These findings suggest that fathers' expressions of affection through affirming words, attention, time spent together, and positive actions continue to play a role in supporting children's social and emotional development, such as the ability to manage emotions, develop self-confidence, and interact with the social environment. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of father involvement in parenting through the consistent application of love affirmations as an effort to optimally support the social and emotional development of early childhood.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang disinergikan dengan pendekatan deep learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan elemen Perawatan Berkala Kendaraan Ringan di kelas XI Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (TKR) SMK Negeri 2 Solok. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat ketuntasan belajar siswa yang disebabkan oleh dominasi pembelajaran berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TKR. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL yang terintegrasi dengan pendekatan deep learning mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor, serta meningkatkan keaktifan dan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, model PBL berbasis deep learning efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran vokasional di SMK.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process and results of students' identification of news text elements after participating in learning using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with an instrumental case study. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that learning using the STAD model proceeded systematically and encouraged student engagement through material presentation, group discussions, and individual assignments. Individual assignment results indicated that students found it easier to identify the elements of what, where, and when, while the elements of who, why, and how demonstrated varying abilities. Overall, the STAD model helped students identify news text elements more accurately.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Mind Mapping method on the understanding of clean and healthy lifestyles in children aged 4-5 years, especially in the aspect of personal hygiene which includes bathing, shampooing, brushing teeth, cleaning the nose, cutting nails, washing hands, cleaning ears, wiping after defecation and urination. The background of this study is based on the condition of understanding of clean and healthy lifestyles in the aspect of personal hygiene that has not developed optimally and is still routine without being based on understanding. This Mind Mapping method is used as a learning strategy to provide knowledge to children about clean and healthy lifestyles through the presentation of main concepts and simple branches, so that children are able to group, connect, and understand various aspects of personal hygiene in a structured manner. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a design (nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest control group design) which was implemented at TK Negeri Pembina 2 Surabaya with two classes, namely class A1 as the experimental group and class A2 as the control group with a total of 15 children in each class. The results of the Mann Whitney U Test showed that in the initial test (Pretest) there was no significant difference between the two groups, whereas after being given Treatment there was a significant difference, where the experimental group experienced an increase in understanding of clean and healthy lifestyle patterns as indicated by the children's ability to recognize, group, and explain aspects of personal hygiene through Mind Mapping. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Mind Mapping method has an effect on understanding clean and healthy lifestyle patterns in children aged 4-5 years..

Abstract

This research aims to analyze improving the ability of 3-4 year old children to recognize emotions. The background of this research is based on the low and underdeveloped ability to recognize emotions in early childhood, which is often caused by limited media and opportunities for direct exploration of emotional recognition thru Flash Cards. The main difference between the Flash Cards for emotional recognition in this study and other Flash Cards lies in the focus of the material and the depth of emotional stimulation. These Flash Cards are specifically designed to develop children's ability to recognize emotions, displaying illustrations of facial expressions and body language that are easily recognizable by young children. The presentation of positive and negative emotional variations helps children understand the diversity of emotions as part of everyday experience. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental design of the Nonequivalent Control Group type, involving an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 20 children. Data was collected thru observation and documentation and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U Test manually and with the help of SPSS version 26. The research results show that the experimental group receiving treatment thru emotion recognition activities using Flash Cards experienced a more significant improvement compared to the control group in terms of content, process, and context of emotion recognition. The Mann Whitney U Test, conducted manually, showed a significance value, with the smallest U value obtained being U₁ = 1.5. Therefore, the U table value was 13, leading to the conclusion that there was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The rejection of H₀ indicates that the treatment given to the experimental group influenced the improvement in students' learning outcomes compared to the control group. The average posttest score for the experimental group was 54.69%, which was higher than the control group's average score of 25.62%. This finding indicates that the Flash Card media for recognizing emotions significantly improved the ability of 3-4 year old children to recognize emotions. Therefore, Flash Card media can be considered an effective learning model for stimulating the development of emotional recognition in early childhood.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of Leadership Style and Compensation on Job Satisfaction, with Motivation as an intervening variable, among Generation Z employees at PT. Digdaya Berkah Indonesia, Semarang Regency, Central Java. The research employed a quantitative approach, distributing closed-ended questionnaires to 57 Generation Z employees at the company. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS software. The results indicate that Leadership Style does not have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction, while Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Motivation, and Motivation in turn has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Moreover, there is a very strong relationship between Compensation and Motivation.
