Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study examines the low learning outcomes in Pancasila Education among fourth-grade students at SDN 5 Metro Timur. The research aims to determine the effect of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) cooperative learning model supported by audio-visual media on students’ learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a population and sample of 51 students selected through a census sampling technique. Data were collected through tests and observation sheets. Hypothesis testing using simple linear regression showed that F_calculated > F_table (31.465 > 4.26) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. These results indicate that the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by audio-visual media has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes.

This study aims to analyze the educational role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in developing the spiritual intelligence of students in class VIII A at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kota Jambi and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing this process. The background of this research is the fact that several students still show low spiritual awareness, such as lack of responsibility, limited understanding of spiritual intelligence, and low motivation in practicing religious values in daily life. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a field research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving Akidah Akhlak teachers, the school principal, and students as research subjects. The results show that the educational role of Akidah Akhlak teachers is carried out through guidance, role modeling (uswah hasanah), motivation, and the internalization of Islamic values in the learning process. Teachers not only deliver cognitive knowledge but also cultivate spiritual values through worship habituation, character building, and meaningful learning activities. The development of students’ spiritual intelligence can be seen in increased religious awareness, moral responsibility, self-control, and positive attitudes in everyday life. Supporting factors include a religious school environment, school programs, and student motivation, while inhibiting factors include differences in family background and social environmental influences

The problem addressed in this study was the low learning outcomes in Pancasila Education among fifth-grade students at SDN 5 Metro Timur. This research aimed to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model assisted by animated video media on students’ learning outcomes. The study employed a quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 41 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through tests and observations and were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that Fcount (16.296) was higher than Ftable (4.38) with a significance value of 0.001, which was lower than 0.05. These findings indicate that the inquiry learning model supported by animated video media has a significant effect on the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.

Literacy and speaking skills are important competencies that need to be developed from elementary school onwards. However, in reality, there are still students who do not read actively, lack confidence in expressing their opinions, and have limited opportunities to interact in learning activities. Collaborative learning is one approach that can be used to overcome these problems by emphasizing cooperation among students in learning groups. This study describes how teachers apply collaborative learning strategies to develop students' literacy and speaking skills in elementary school. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through observation techniques, interviews with sixth-grade Indonesian language teachers at the Ihya As-Sunnah Wundulako Islamic Boarding School, and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that collaborative learning strategies are implemented through group work activities, group discussions, presentations of discussion results, and peer feedback. Teachers also encourage less active students to participate in presentations to boost their confidence in speaking. In addition, the use of simple technological media such as audio devices and projectors helps improve students' attention and understanding of the learning material. In practice, teachers face challenges in managing time and student engagement, but collaborative learning has been proven to transform the learning atmosphere to be more active and improve students' reading literacy and speaking skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of basic English language introduction through educational socialization activities on the learning interest of second-grade students at SD Negeri 04 Patamuan, Padang Pariaman. The background of this research is the low interest in learning English among lower-grade students, caused by less engaging teaching methods and minimal stimulation in the school environment. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and the school principal. The results indicate that educational socialization activities packaged in the form of interactive games, songs, and storytelling successfully increased students' learning interest significantly. Students demonstrated high enthusiasm, increased confidence in speaking, and stronger intrinsic motivation to learn English. This study concludes that the introduction of basic English through fun and contextual educational socialization is proven effective in fostering the learning interest of second-grade elementary school students. This research is expected to serve as a reference for teachers and policymakers in designing English learning programs in elementary schools.

The problem in this study is that the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the subject of force are still not optimal. The lack of application of learning models and interactive learning media causes the material not to be delivered optimally and has an impact on student learning outcomes, so it is necessary to apply a learning model that can increase student activity and understanding. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by snakes and ladders media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the subject of force in SD Negeri 49 Banda Aceh.The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research type. The research design used is One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. This research was conducted in fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 49 Banda Aceh. The research sample consisted of all fourth-grade students who were used as the experimental class. The research instrument used was a test of learning outcomes of the science given before the treatment, namely the pretest and after the treatment, namely the posttest. Data analysis techniques were performed using the SPSS program, including normality tests, hypothesis testing using paired sample t-tests, The results of the hypothesis test indicate a significance value <0.05, so H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by snakes and ladders media on student learning outcomes on the material of forces around us in grade IV of SD Negeri 49 Banda Aceh. The results of this study indicate that the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by snakes and ladders media can be used as an alternative to science learning to improve student learning outcomes and activity. This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in implementing differentiated learning methods for students with diverse abilities in grade II at SDN 114/VII Bukit Kalimau Ulu I, Batang Asai District, Sarolangun Regency, and to identify the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing these methods. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were the grade II teacher and students at SDN 114/VII Bukit Kalimau Ulu I. The results of the study show that the teacher's efforts in implementing differentiated learning methods are carried out in several ways, namely adjusting learning methods to students' abilities, providing variations of assignments according to the level of students' abilities, giving special attention to students who experience learning difficulties, and using various interesting learning strategies so that all students can participate well in the learning process. Teachers also strive to create a conducive learning atmosphere and provide motivation to students so that they are more active in the learning process. The obstacles faced by teachers in implementing differentiated learning include limited learning time, differences in students' abilities that are quite diverse, and limited supporting facilities and infrastructure. Nevertheless, teachers continue to make efforts to overcome these obstacles by providing additional guidance to students who need it and developing more varied learning strategies. Thus, the implementation of differentiated learning methods can help teachers accommodate differences in students' abilities so that the learning process can take place more effectively and optimally. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the subject of science, especially on the material of forces around us. This is caused by the use of learning media that are less varied so that the learning process becomes less interesting and students are less active in understanding the material presented. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Smart Booklet learning media on the learning outcomes of science on the material of forces around us in fourth-grade students of SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of a control class and an experimental class. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning outcome tests given before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning. The results showed that in the control class the average pretest score was 69.83 and the average posttest score was 80.50, increasing by 10.67. Meanwhile, in the experimental class the average pretest score was 69.83 and the average posttest score was 86.17, increasing by 16.34. These results indicate that the increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class is higher than the control class. In addition, the results of the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample t-test show a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.012 which is smaller than 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Smart Booklet learning media has a significant and effective effect in improving the learning outcomes of science on the material of forces around us in grade IV students of SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya.

The mawashi geri kick is one of the most commonly used attack techniques in karate, especially in kumite numbers. This technique requires strength, speed, balance, and good coordination of the leg muscles so that the kick can be done effectively and accurately. In high-intensity match conditions, athletes often experience muscle fatigue which can affect the quality of technique movements. Muscle fatigue can lead to a decrease in the ability of muscles to produce power, thus having an impact on the speed and power of the kick produced by the athlete. This study aims to determine the effect of muscle fatigue on the performance of mawashi geri kicks in karate athletes in Sorong City. The research method used is a quantitative method with an experimental approach using a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample amounted to 20 karate athletes who actively trained in several dojos in Sorong City and were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Kick performance measurement is carried out twice, namely before and after athletes are given physical activity aimed at causing muscle fatigue. The research data was obtained through the speed and strength test of the mawashi geri kick. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using a statistical paired sample t-test to find out the difference in kick performance before and after muscle fatigue. The results showed that there was a significant decrease in the speed and strength of the mawashi geri kick after athletes experienced muscle fatigue with a significance value of p < 0.05. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that muscle fatigue has a significant effect on the decrease in the performance of mawashi geri kicks in karate athletes in Sorong City. Therefore, coaches need to pay attention to training programs that are able to increase muscle endurance and recovery strategies so that athletes' performance remains optimal during training and matches.

The development of early literacy in children aged 5–6 years is a crucial stage in which children begin to build the foundation for reading and writing. At this age, children generally achieve several milestones such as recognizing alphabet letters, understanding phonemic relationships (sounds and symbols), reading simple words, and writing their own names. Children who are involved in puzzle games tend to understand letter symbols more easily and are able to remember them in an enjoyable learning context.The type of research used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The initial observation showed that 5 children (33.33%) were still in the category of Beginning to Develop, 1 child (6.66%) was in the category of Developing as Expected, and 3 children (20%) were in the category of Developing Very Well. After the implementation of the first cycle, there was an improvement in children's literacy skills. Three children (20%) were categorized as Beginning to Develop, five children (33.33%) were categorized as Developing as Expected, and three children (20%) were categorized as Developing Very Well.Based on these results, it can be concluded that although there was an improvement in children's literacy skills in the first cycle, the results had not yet reached the predetermined success indicators. Therefore, the researcher continued to the second cycle to improve the shortcomings found in the previous stage in order to obtain more optimal results. The results of the second cycle showed a significant improvement in children's literacy skills through the use of letter puzzle media. At this stage, eight children (53.33%) were in the category of Developing as Expected and seven children (46.66%) were in the category of Developing Very Well. Therefore, the letter puzzle media was considered appropriate and effective to be used as an innovative learning strategy in developing early literacy skills of young children at TK Kartika II-1 Palembang.
