Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

The development of technology and the dynamics of education in the modern era require educators to continuously improve their teaching competencies in adaptive and innovative ways. One effective approach to enhancing teaching skills is through microteaching. Microteaching is a training method that allows teachers to practice teaching skills on a small, focused, and structured scale. Through this process, educators can refine abilities such as delivering material, managing classrooms, utilizing learning media, and conducting reflective learning evaluations. In the modern era supported by digital technology, microteaching can be integrated with various online platforms, video recordings, and data-driven feedback to significantly improve the quality of learning. Therefore, the implementation of microteaching not only helps teachers enhance their professionalism but also promotes the creation of more effective, interactive, and relevant learning experiences aligned with the needs of today’s students.

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of the community in Kelurahan Waha, Tomia District, Wakatobi Regency, toward the da'wah of Jama'ah Tabligh in the process of internalizing Islamic educational values, as well as to identify the factors that dialectically shape these perceptions and their influence on the level of community participation. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles et al. and validated through source and method triangulation as well as member checking. The findings reveal that community perceptions are ambivalent-critical in nature: accepting the da'wah in practice because the jaulah approach and humanistic interpersonal communication effectively internalize Islamic values at the ritual, social, and character levels, while simultaneously critiquing the weakness of dalil used and the imbalance between khuruj activities and family responsibilities. These perceptions are dialectically shaped by four factors, namely direct interaction experience, religious literacy, local authority figures, and local cultural context, which together determine the depth of Islamic value internalization for each individual. These findings contribute to the achievement of the SDGs, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), by demonstrating that community-based da'wah can serve as an effective and strategic instrument of non-formal Islamic education in remote island regions.

This research examines the application of formative assessment to improve science literacy in environmental pollution material at SMPN 11 Surabaya. Science literacy is a crucial competency in the 21st century, yet Indonesian students' performance in PISA 2022 showed only 34% reached basic competency level. This pre-experimental study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 31 seventh-grade students. Formative assessment was integrated into Problem Based Learning through various techniques including student worksheets with feedback columns, peer assessment, self-assessment, and guided reflection. Data were collected through observation sheets, pretest-posttest, and student response questionnaires. Results indicate: (1) learning implementation was excellent at 97.33%; (2) science literacy significantly improved with average N-gain of 0.5 (moderate category), confirmed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (Z = -4.092, Sig. = 0.000); and (3) student responses were very positive at 91.09%. The highest N-gain was achieved in identifying scientific problems (0.71, high category). These findings confirm that systematic formative assessment integration in PBL effectively enhances science literacy in environmental pollution topics. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Asmaul Husana recitation habit in shaping the religious character of children at Alam Wanatani Kindergarten. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved children in groups A and B aged 4–6 years. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the Asmaul Husana recitation habit was implemented every morning before class using the Kinesthetic Musical Learning method, which combines auditory, visual, and kinesthetic elements through songs and symbolic movements. Teachers acted as role models and facilitators in explaining the meaning of God's attributes contextually. This internalization process successfully transformed memorization into spiritual understanding that triggered positive behaviors such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and empathy. Approximately 85% of children experienced excellent religious character development. Synergy between teachers and parents is a key supporting factor in the sustainability of religious values both at school and at home. It can be concluded that the Asmaul Husana recitation habit is effective in supporting the formation of religious character in early childhood.

Musical improvisation is a form of expression built through technical skills, mastery of scales, chords, and rhythms, spontaneously but still bound by an agreed musical structure. One musical instrument that is quite closely related to song improvisation is the electric guitar, where this instrument emphasizes chord and melody playing. Blues is a genre that places the guitar as a primary element in the presentation of improvisation, although sometimes also alongside vocals, because blues emphasizes the concept of "call and response" in its musical form. Student perceptions of learning blues guitar improvisation are related to subjective views regarding the level of improvisation difficulty, the learning process, methods, and learning experiences that impact the development of the ability to play blues improvisation on the electric guitar instrument. To be able to describe each part of the electric guitar learning process that shapes these students' perceptions, the researcher chose to use a descriptive analysis method, which can provide an overview of the components that influence student perceptions in learning guitar improvisation. Guitar improvisation activities can utilize an audiation approach. This term refers to the theory put forward by Edwin E. Gordon through Music Learning Theory, emphasizing the importance of audiation, namely the ability to hear and understand music internally before expressing it. Guitar improvisation in blues music emphasizes audiation to help students predict and design musical phrases in a spontaneous yet structured manner. Improvisation in the blues context is not just technical skill, but also involves sensitivity, spontaneity, and the ability to respond to the musical flow in real time. Therefore, understanding students' perceptions is important because it can indicate the extent to which they are able to internalize the expressive elements of blues guitar playing.

This study aimed to determine the effect of using Wordwall and Kahoot applications on ethnomathematics-based mathematical reasoning abilities. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 29 Medan in the 2025–2026 academic year using a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of 60 seventh-grade students, and a saturated sampling technique was applied, resulting in two classes: class VII-6 (30 students) as experimental class 1 and class VII-7 (30 students) as experimental class 2. The instrument used was a mathematical reasoning ability test in the form of pretest and posttest. Descriptive analysis showed that the average posttest score of experimental class 1 was 80.4, while experimental class 2 was 77.7. Prerequisite tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The Independent Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.008 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of using Wordwall and Kahoot on students’ ethnomathematics-based mathematical reasoning abilities.

This research is background by the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics learning and learning that is still Teacher Centered. The purpose of the study is to see the effect of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach on the Learning Outcomes of Fractions of fifth grade elementary school. The type of research is experimental research with a Quasi Experimental Design type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design, with the research population being all fifth grade elementary school students in Lubuk Kilangan. The sampling technique is nonprobability sampling purposive sampling obtained SDN 20 Indarung as a sample class. The research instrument is in the form of multiple choice and fill-in tests. For initial data analysis, the Normality Test and Homogeneity Test are used. While on the final data, the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Hypothesis Test and N-Gain Test are carried out. Based on the results of the research data analysis, the average pretest value for the experimental class is 43.3036 and for the control class is 45.2586. After being given treatment to the experimental class using the RME approach and the control class using the conventional approach, the average posttest of the experimental class was 75.4464 and the control class 62.931. The results of data analysis from the hypothesis test that had been carried out, obtained t_{count} of 2.308 and t_{table} of 2.004. This t_{count} > t_{table} namely 2.308 > 2.004, then the hypothesis H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. By using the N-Gain test, it can be seen that the increase in the experimental class's value is better than the control class, namely 0.60077 and 0.33785 with the results of the N-Gain test calculation for both classes being 0.26292.

This study is motivated by the low level of students’ learning interest, which is influenced by the use of less varied and less engaging learning media. In the learning process, media plays an important role in creating an interactive and enjoyable learning environment. One of the media that can be utilized is a digital flipbook, which integrates various multimedia elements such as text, images, audio, and animation to enhance student engagement in learning. This study aims to analyze the utilization of digital flipbook media in improving the learning interest of third-grade students at SDS Muhammadiyah 2 Garut, as well as to examine its advantages and disadvantages in the learning process. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study (library research) approach. Data were collected from various relevant sources such as books, scientific journals, and research articles, and were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results show that digital flipbook media has several advantages in increasing students’ learning interest through more engaging, interactive, and varied material presentation. This media can improve students’ attention, participation, and understanding of the learning material. However, there are also some limitations, such as inadequate technological facilities and teachers’ limited ability to develop and operate the media. The implication of this study indicates that digital flipbook media can be an effective alternative learning tool to improve students’ learning interest, provided that adequate infrastructure and teachers’ technological competencies are well supported.

The lack of use of creative and interesting learning media is the cause of the low reading literacy skills of students in grade II of SD Negeri 1 Lambheu, Aceh Besar Regency. Reading literacy skills are one of the basic skills that students must have to be able to continue the next learning process. To address the problem, Puzzle media is implemented to make learning more engaging, enjoyable, and student-centered. This study aims to describe teacher activities, student activities, and to determine the improvement of students' reading literacy skills through the use of Puzzle media. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, involving 29 students. Data were collected through observation and tests, and analyzed descriptively qualitatively with a percentage formula. The results of the study showed a significant increase in teacher activity, in cycle I obtained a average of 71,87% (very good) in cycle II obtained a average of 87,5%. Student activity also increased from 67,89% (good) in cycle I to 73,28% ( good) in cycle II. Students' Reading literacy skills increased with a classical achievement of 75.86% in cycle I, and with a classical achievement of 82.75% in cycle II. This increase indicates that the use of Puzzle media is effective in improving students' reading literacy skills in grade II of SD Negeri 1 Lambheu, Aceh Besar Regency

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the jigsaw puzzle model and crossword puzzle game on critical thinking skills in social studies. This research was motivated by students' low critical thinking skills in social studies. During learning activities, students were less active because the teacher still used the lecture method. Consequently, students' critical thinking skills have not developed optimally. This study uses a Quasi-Experimental Design, specifically the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were fourth-grade students of SDN Kepuh Kiriman 1 Waru. The sample in this study was class IV-B as the experimental class and class IV-D as the control class. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study is a quantitative research type with an experimental approach. Data collection techniques were critical thinking ability tests and observation of learning activities. Data analysis techniques used were prerequisite tests (normality tests and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis testing using t-tests. Based on the calculation results using SPSS, it shows that Sig. (2-tailed), the value obtained is <0.001. This explains that Ho is rejected, so H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on critical thinking skills in the social studies subject of fourth-grade students.
