Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning motivation of third-grade students at MIS Al-Bashirah in the Pancasila Education subject, "Different is Beautiful," through the use of interactive learning media. The background of this study is low student learning motivation, which impacts student participation and lack of interest in conventional learning processes.This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The subjects were 22 third-grade students at MIS Al-Bashirah. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and d1ocumentation. The results showed that the use of interactive learning media successfully increased student learning motivation. This was evident in the increase in student motivation indicators from 30% in the pre-cycle, 56% in the first cycle, 72% in the second cycle, and 85% in the third cycle. Observation sheets showed improvements in student comfort in learning, active participation, clear interest in the material, and discipline during learning. These improvements demonstrate that interactive learning media are effective in creating a more engaging learning environment and fostering student motivation. It was concluded that interactive learning media can be an effective solution for increasing student learning motivation in Pancasila Education. It is recommended that teachers integrate interactive learning media into their teaching practices to create more innovative and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of using TikTok as an informal digital learning medium for developing English speaking skills. With its growing popularity, TikTok has become an important platform for authentic language practice, yet its use in the EFL context in Indonesia still lacks a unified theoretical framework. This study aims to (1) explore how university students use and perceive TikTok, (2) analyze its impact on their speaking proficiency and confidence, and (3) identify the challenges and self-regulation strategies they develop. This research employs a qualitative case study approach involving five English teacher training students selected through purposive sampling. The criteria include students who actively use TikTok for learning and practicing speaking, utilize its features, and demonstrate good speaking ability based on academic performance. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed thematically by integrating Social Learning Theory (SLT), Communicative Competence Theory (CCT), and Krashen’s Monitor Model. The findings reveal that students act as autonomous agents who strategically utilize the platform’s features. TikTok is perceived to have a holistic impact, improving both linguistic aspects (pronunciation and fluency) and affective factors such as self-confidence. The integration of the three theories provides a strong explanatory framework, particularly through Krashen’s Affective Filter concept, which highlights the role of confidence. The study implies that educators should shift their role toward facilitating digital literacy and metacognitive skills.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low use of digital media in learning at elementary schools. The purpose of this study was to develop an Interactive LKPD assisted by the Wordwall website application in Indonesian language learning for fifth grade elementary school students. The research problems were obtained from observations and interviews conducted in several schools, namely SD Negeri 16 Pagambiran, SD Negeri 25 Pagambiran, and SD Negeri 35 Pagambiran. The results of the observations showed that teachers and students were still not optimal in utilizing digital technology in the learning process. This condition caused low student participation, learning interest, and learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model consisting of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collected included validity, practicality, and effectiveness data. The results showed that the developed Interactive LKPD had a very good validity level with percentages of 96% from material experts, 81% from language experts, and 93% from media experts. The practicality results showed percentages of 95% from teachers and 95.75% from students with a very practical category. In addition, the effectiveness results showed percentages of 85.71% in the trial school and 91.67% in the research school with a very effective category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Interactive LKPD assisted by the Wordwall website is appropriate to be used in Indonesian language learning for fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in handling social conflicts among students in the classroom. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation and interviews. The subject of this study was a PAI teacher at SDN 2 Linggasari Darang dan Purwakarta. The findings indicate that social conflicts among students are generally caused by personal factors such as teasing, differences of opinion, and competition. The strategies used by PAI teachers include religious approaches, mediation through open dialogue, personal approaches, and the habituation of good moral values in daily activities. These strategies are not only reactive but also preventive and educative in shaping students’ character. Therefore, the role of PAI teachers is crucial in creating a harmonious and conducive classroom environment through the internalization of Islamic values. Abstract

The level of learning achievement in Natural and Social Sciences among elementary school students is still low, indicating the need for the implementation of learning innovations that can increase active participation while deepening students' understanding more optimally. One effort that is considered relevant is the use of game-based learning media designed according to the developmental characteristics and learning needs of elementary school students. The following research aims to examine the effect of the use of the Froggy Jumps game on the learning achievement of third-grade students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences at SD Negeri Kembang 01. The following research applies a quantitative approach through a quasi-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest. The research population includes all third-grade students of SD Negeri Kembang 01. In the following research, sampling uses a saturated sampling technique, so that all members of the population are used as research samples, with a total of 24. Data acquisition in this research was carried out through the administration of learning outcome tests carried out before and after treatment. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical approaches that include the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the Paired Sample t-Test hypothesis test. The findings of this study indicate that the use of the Froggy Jumps game has a significant impact on improving student learning achievement, as evidenced by the disparity in learning outcomes between the pretest and posttest. These findings confirm that educational game-based learning media has the potential to be a strategic alternative for educators in improving the quality of science learning while strengthening the development of interactive learning models in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating local wisdom materials in Social Studies (IPS) to improve the communication skills of 6th-grade elementary school students. Local wisdom is seen as a contextual and relevant learning instrument for students' cultural identity. The research method used is a literature study (library research) by analyzing the results of research on the development of learning tools based on local culture. The study results show that the use of materials based on local wisdom significantly encourages more active social interaction in the classroom, increases students' courage in expressing opinions, and strengthens democratic values in communication. The conclusion of this study confirms that local wisdom functions as a bridge between social theory and real communication practices, which ultimately improves students' interpersonal competence at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of using animated videos on student learning outcomes in Pancasila education subjects in grade V of SDN 18 Kampung Durian. Using quantitative methods and a non-equivalent control group design, learning outcomes were measured through tests. This study showed a significant increase between before and after the intervention. In the pretest, the top score recorded among students was 96, whereas the lowest score was 52 with an average of 81.4. After using animated video media, posttest scores increased with the highest score reaching 100, the lowest was 80 and an average of 91.5. The t-test obtained a significance value of <0.001, which indicates that the use of animated video learning media significantly affects learning outcomes. Animated videos are proven to be an effective, innovative, fun, and relevant learning medium for improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of educational financing in the context of fiscal disparities, focusing on SMAN 1 Long Bagun in Mahakam Ulu Regency, a frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged (3T) area in Indonesia. The study addresses the challenges arising from unequal regional fiscal capacity, high operational costs due to geographical constraints, and limited managerial capacity in resource utilization. The objective of this research is to analyze how the school plans, allocates, and manages its financial resources, identify the constraints faced, and formulate adaptive and contextual financing strategies. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, using purposive sampling to select key informants such as the principal, school treasurer, and school committee. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that fiscal disparities significantly influence the effectiveness of educational financing, where most of the budget is allocated for basic operational needs due to high logistical costs. Despite these limitations, the school demonstrates adaptive strategies through prioritization and efficient resource management. However, limited flexibility in budget use and low innovation in alternative funding remain key challenges. The study concludes that effective educational financing in 3T areas requires not only sufficient funding but also adaptive management, strengthened institutional capacity, and context-sensitive policy support to ensure equitable education quality.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of digital-based learning innovation in improving the quality of Akidah Akhlak learning in madrasahs. The implementation of the Digital Class Featured Program is an effort to integrate technology with Islamic values to support the achievement of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning objectives. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including limited teacher competence, suboptimal digital-based lesson planning, and incomplete evaluation processes. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Digital Class Featured Program in teaching Akidah Akhlak to tenth-grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 OKU Timur. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design. The subjects include teachers and students, while data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the implementation has been carried out fairly well through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The learning process is interactive, utilizing digital media such as learning videos, quiz applications, and learning management systems, which enhance student engagement and understanding. However, the evaluation has not fully covered affective and psychomotor aspects optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Description of the application of the Inquiry Based Learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills, 2) student involvement in the application of Inquiry-Based Learning, and 3) the application of the Inquiry-Based Learning learning process model in improving students' critical thinking skills.The results of the study indicate that: 1) The description of the application of the Inquiry Based Learning learning model is carried out through the stages of orientation, problem formulation, hypothesis formulation, data collection, hypothesis testing, and drawing conclusions, which are able to create active, dynamic, and student-centered learning and improve critical thinking skills which include the ability to explain, analyze, evaluate, and conclude. 2) Student engagement in learning increases through discussion, observation, and presentation activities, although obstacles remain, such as differences in ability, lack of self-confidence, and uneven participation within groups. 3) The Inquiry-Based Learning process has been proven to actual improve students' critical thinking skills, from the initial basic stage to more developed aspects of logistics, evaluation, and conclusion drawing.
