Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study addresses the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at MI Islamiyah 01 Madiun in the subject of Social Sciences (IPAS), specifically on the topic of "Norms in My Local Customs." The purpose of this research is to examine the use of audiovisual media in improving students' learning outcomes on this material. The study employs a classroom action research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles involving 23 students. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and pretest-posttest assessments. In the first cycle, the use of audiovisual media showed initial improvements in student engagement and understanding, although some students still scored below the minimum mastery criteria. After refining the audiovisual media and learning strategies in the second cycle, there was a significant increase in the number of students achieving scores above the minimum mastery criteria, along with enhanced participation and motivation during the learning process. These findings indicate that integrating audiovisual media in IPAS learning not only improves cognitive outcomes but also fosters positive attitudes and active student involvement. The study concludes that audiovisual media is an effective tool to enhance learning outcomes on abstract and contextual topics such as norms and local customs, and recommends broader application in similar educational contexts.

This study aims to analyze the key factors influencing the success of administrative digitalization implementation at SMK Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara. A mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design was employed, involving questionnaire data from 163 respondents and in-depth interviews with selected key informants. The examined variables include management support, human resource competence, technological infrastructure, system suitability, and user acceptance. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate that all five variables significantly affect the success of administrative digitalization, with user acceptance emerging as the most dominant factor (β = 0.341). The adjusted R² value of 0.684 demonstrates that the model explains 68.4% of the variance in digitalization implementation success. These findings highlight the importance of integrating technical and human aspects in digital transformation and provide strategic recommendations for schools to strengthen administrative digitalization in order to enhance the effectiveness of educational governance.

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is an educational approach that focuses on students as the main focus of the learning process through real and meaningful project activities. This article discusses the application of PBL as an effort to foster independence and awareness of learning responsibilities among elementary school students. By applying this method, students not only gain insight, but are also actively involved in managing tasks independently and taking responsibility for their learning outcomes. Research findings show that PBL is effective in increasing learning motivation, independence in completing tasks, and awareness of responsibility for the learning process and outcomes of students. The consequence of this study is the need for teachers to adopt the PBL method in learning in order to develop independence and responsibility from an early age.

In this study, the issue is the students' lack of motivation and cooperation, which results in subpar learning outcomes. Researchers used the Badamprak game and the BALANTING model (Problem Based Learning, Numbered Head Together, and Snowball Throwing) to address this issue. The goal of this research is to enhance students' learning motivation, teamwork, and academic performance. The Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach was used in this study, which was conducted over four sessions during the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year with the topic of eight fourth-grade pupils from Tabalong Mati HSU Elementary School. The data collected consisted of qualitative data from observations of instructors' and students' actions, as well as their drive and collaboration. To assess learning results, quantitative data were collected using written group and individual tests. The outcomes of the study demonstrated that at the fourth session, pupils' motivation to learn rose from 50% to 100%. The level of student cooperation also rose, going from 38% to 100% during the fourth session. From 38% at meeting I to 100% at meeting IV, the classical completeness of pupils' learning outcomes rose. The use of the Badamprak game and the BALANTING model was shown to be successful in boosting students' drive, teamwork, and academic performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Aqidah Akhlak subject on learning outcomes and emotional intelligence of students at MI MWB Mronjo Selopuro Blitar. The study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The Aqidah Akhlak learning process does not only focus on cognitive aspects, but also on the formation of attitudes and emotional intelligence of students which are influenced by the role of teachers, students, the madrasah environment, and learning strategies. The results of the study indicate that Aqidah Akhlak learning has a fairly good influence on learning outcomes with an average value of 46 and emotional intelligence with an average value of 47. The religious madrasah environment is the main supporting factor, while the low awareness of learning and polite attitudes of some students are inhibiting factors. Hypothesis testing shows a significant influence of Aqidah Akhlak learning on learning outcomes and emotional intelligence of students at MI MWB Mronjo Selopuro Blitar.

This study aims to develop AKM-based e-book teaching materials for fairy tales designed to assist the Indonesian language learning process in fairy tale material. The background of this research is that teachers still experience limitations in developing digital teaching materials that are in line with student needs and AKM requirements. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) development model. The AKM-based fairy tale collection e-book teaching material was developed using Canva software as the basis for the e-book design, AI to help create images for each fairy tale, Quizizz to create questions for the final evaluation of each fairy tale, ME-QR online web to convert the Quizizz link into a barcode, and Heyzine online web to help convert the e-book pdf from Canva into a flipbook as a supporting display for the product. The results of validation by subject matter experts and media experts show that the AKM-based question collection e-book teaching materials are very feasible and usable. The implementation of these teaching materials helps teachers and students in the learning process. Evaluations and questionnaires reinforce the findings that these teaching materials are able to provide convenience and new experiences with the introduction of moral messages in them.

Daily life requires physical fitness, which is defined as the body's ability to adapt to various types of activities. In this case, exercise is good for your health andquality of life. Internal and external factors are twocategories that can affect a person's physical fitness. Internal factors include age, gender, and geneticfactors, while external factors include diet, physicalactivity level, smoking habits, and nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to investigate how thedaily food consumption of ninth-grade students atSMPN 1 Ngasem Bojonegoro correlates with theirfitness levels. With a sample of 66 students selected atrandom, a quantitative correlational method was used. After being collected for 24 hours, the Nusantara Student Fitness Test (TKPN) was analyzed usingnormality tests and Spearman's rank correlation. The results showed that most students (52 percent) had fitness in the “fair” category, and that 44 percent ofstudents consumed more than necessary every day. The results of the study showed a significant positiverelationship between the two variables, with a correlation coefficient of 0.752 and significance of0.000 (p < 0.05). Therefore, it was found that anincrease in student fitness levels was influenced byadequate daily consumption.

This study aimed to develop a Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based two-tier multiple choice diagnostic test using Kahoot on integer operations for fourth-grade elementary school students. The background of this study was the limited availability of diagnostic assessment instruments that are able to identify students’ conceptual understanding and misconceptions in mathematics learning. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed product was a two-tier diagnostic test, in which the first tier measures students’ answer choices, while the second tier reveals the reasons behind their answers. Expert validation was conducted by material, media, and language experts to examine the feasibility and validity of the instrument. The field trial involved fourth- grade students to analyze the validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and discrimination index of the test items. The results indicated that the developed instrument was valid and reliable, with most items categorized as having moderate difficulty and good discrimination power. The use of Kahoot as a digital platform made the diagnostic assessment more interactive and increased students’ engagement during the learning process. Therefore, the HOTS-based two-tier diagnostic test developed in this study is suitable to be used as an alternative assessment instrument to identify students’ misconceptions and support meaningful mathematics learning in elementary schools.

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the Take and Give type on the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) of fifth-grade students at SDN 001 Tinambung, Polewali Mandar Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class VA as the control group and class VB as the experimental group, each comprising 18 students. The results of this study indicate that the Take and Give learning model has an effect on students’ IPAS learning outcomes, as seen from the increase in the average scores based on descriptive analysis. Furthermore, inferential analysis showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t-test revealed a significant effect on IPAS learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the research conducted in grade V at SDN 001 Tinambung shows that: (1) the implementation of the learning process using the Take and Give learning model in grade V at SDN 001 Tinambung was carried out effectively at each stage and categorized as very good; (2) the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 001 Tinambung, Polewali Mandar Regency, after the application of the Take and Give learning model reached a very good category; and (3) the Take and Give learning model has a significant effect on the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 001 Tinambung, Polewali Mandar Regency.

This study addresses the problem of low conceptual understanding among students in the IPAS subject, where learning is predominantly teacher-centered and relies heavily on lecturing without the use of instructional media. As a result, students tend to memorize information rather than deeply understand the material and are less actively engaged in the learning process. This research aims to describe the implementation of the snakes and ladders game as a learning medium in IPAS, to examine students’ conceptual understanding during the learning process, and to determine the influence of this medium on improving conceptual understanding among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Beroanging, Makassar City.The findings indicate that the use of the snakes and ladders game effectively transformed the learning environment into a more active and collaborative setting. Students demonstrated increased enthusiasm, more frequent participation in discussions, and improved ability to answer conceptual questions meaningfully. Posttest results from the experimental class showed a significant increase compared to the control class, which continued using conventional learning methods. Statistical analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test confirmed a significant difference between the two groups, indicating that the game-based medium positively influenced students’ conceptual understanding.In conclusion, the snakes and ladders game is proven to be an effective alternative instructional medium for IPAS learning. It not only enhances students’ conceptual understanding but also fosters motivation, self-confidence, and active participation in learning, making it worth applying to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.
