Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering religious moderation attitudes among students and to describe the manifestation of religious moderation attitudes that have developed at SMP Negeri 10 Buton Tengah. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, encompassing data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that PAI teachers effectively carried out multidimensional roles, encompassing the role of contextual educator, moderate role model, inclusive learning facilitator, and digital religious literacy guide. These roles operated synergistically and produced tangible impacts on students' character development. Students' religious moderation attitudes were well established, as reflected in active tolerance, organic harmony, openness to differences, and resilience against extremist influences in the digital era. These findings affirm that moderately oriented religious education possesses strong transformative power in shaping a generation of young people who are tolerant, peaceful, and of good character, while also contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the domains of quality education and sustainable peace.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a problem-solving-based educational game on diversity and tolerance material in Civic Education (PKN) for eighth-grade junior high school students. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were 22 students of grade VIII at SMP IT Amanah Sungai Penuh. Data were collected through validation questionnaires, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The product developed is an interactive educational game created using Articulate Storyline, designed with problem-based scenarios to encourage students’ critical thinking and active participation in learning. The validation results showed that the media achieved a very high level of validity, with an average score of 4.70 for material aspects and 4.82 for media aspects. The practicality test indicated an average score of 4.51, categorized as very practical, showing that the media is easy to use and engaging for students. Furthermore, the effectiveness test revealed an N-Gain score of 72.80%, which falls into the moderately effective category, indicating a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. In conclusion, the developed problem-solving-based educational game using Articulate Storyline is valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Civic Education, particularly on diversity and tolerance material.

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. It was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, tests, and non-test techniques. The subjects were the classroom teacher, the researcher, and 23 fourth-grade students. The results showed that the teaching module improved from 89.55% (Good) in cycle I to 95.8% (Very Good) in cycle II. The teacher’s and students’ implementation aspects increased from 91% to 96.4% (Very Good). Students’ learning outcomes also improved from an average score of 81.32 (Good) in cycle I to 93.37 (Very Good) in cycle II. This research employs a quantitative approach. The population of this study consists of Generation Z users of TikTok Shop in Pematangsiantar City. The sample comprises 398 respondents, selected using incidental sampling technique. The research instrument was tested using validity and reliability tests, with reliability measured by Cronbach’s Alpha. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics, including classical assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, as well as multiple linear regression analysis, t-test (partial), F-test (simultaneous), and coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that live streaming has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, as evidenced by the t-test result where t-value (15.485) > t-table (1.966) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Online customer reviews also have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, with a t-value of 8.129 > t-table of 1.966 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, live streaming and online customer reviews significantly influence purchase intention, as indicated by the F-test result where F-value (340.357) > F-table (3.02) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.633, indicating that 63.3% of purchase intention is explained by these variables, while the remaining is influenced by other factors outside this study. The conclusion of this study shows that live streaming has a more dominant influence than online customer reviewsin increasing purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work competency and communication skills on students' work readiness. This study used a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. The population consisted of 92 students, with a sample of 62 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results showed that work competency had a positive and significant effect on work readiness, with a calculated t-value of 2.962, greater than the t-table value of 2.001, and a significance value of 0.004, less than 0.05. Communication skills had a positive and significant effect on work readiness, with a calculated t-value of 4.452, greater than the t-table value of 2.001, and a significance value of 0.000, less than 0.05. Simultaneously, work competency and communication skills had a significant effect on work readiness, with a calculated F-value of 56.384, greater than the F-table value of 3.153, and a significance value of 0.000, less than 0.05. The coefficient of determination value of 0.657 indicates that 65.7% of the variation in work readiness can be explained by the two variables. Communication skills have a more dominant influence than work competency.
