Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the theoretical and empirical foundations for developing an outdoor project-based learning model centered on the exploration of the surrounding environment for elementary school students. This study employs a systematic literature review method, analyzing 34 articles from the Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and Google Scholar databases published between 2021 and 2026. The screening process followed the PRISMA guidelines through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns, relationships between variables, and research gaps. The findings indicate that integrating project-based learning with an outdoor learning approach centered on exploring the surrounding environment can enhance students’ active engagement, conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and environmental awareness at the elementary school level. This model is rooted in constructivist theory and experiential learning, which emphasize direct experience as the foundation for knowledge construction. Nevertheless, its implementation still faces challenges such as teacher readiness, time constraints, and the complexity of managing out-of-class activities. This study formulates an initial conceptual framework for an environmental exploration-based outdoor project-based learning model that can be further tested in development research.

Abstract

Understanding and instilling the exemplary values of the Prophet's companions in the learning of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in grade IV MI/SD is still low and is still dominated by the lecture method. This study aims to determine the implementation of the storytelling method and its influence in instilling the exemplary values of the Prophet's companions in students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and interviews. The results of the study show that the implementation of storytelling is able to create more interactive and enjoyable learning. Students become more active, enthusiastic, and easily understand the material presented. In addition, exemplary values such as honesty, responsibility, social care, and courage begin to be seen in students' daily behavior. Storytelling not only improves cognitive aspects, but is also effective in developing students' affective aspects. The storytelling method can be an effective learning alternative in SKI learning to instill character values in elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berada dalam bidang pendidikan anak usia dini yang berfokus pada pengembangan literasi anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh stimulasi orang tua terhadap literasi anak usia 5–6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan studi literatur, menggunakan data sekunder dari jurnal, buku, dan dokumen ilmiah yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar dan Google dalam lima tahun terakhir. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui proses seleksi dan sintesis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa stimulasi orang tua berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan literasi anak, terutama melalui interaksi seperti membaca bersama dan komunikasi verbal. Kualitas keterlibatan orang tua lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan fasilitas literasi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan literasi yang interaktif dan sesuai perkembangan anak. Temuan ini penting sebagai dasar pengembangan literasi anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the Smart Box Rule House learning media integrated with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model to improve fourth-grade elementary students’ collaboration skills in Civic Education. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects were 47 fourth-grade students from three elementary schools in Semarang Regency, Indonesia, along with experts in media, material, and instructional design as validators. Data were collected through validation sheets, questionnaires, observations, and interviews, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that the media was highly valid, with validation scores of 100% (media), 88% (material), and 100% (instructional design). The practicality test indicated very positive responses from teachers (94.67%) and students (96.53%). Furthermore, most students achieved high and very high levels of collaboration skills, including working productively, respecting others, compromising, and sharing responsibilities. Therefore, the Smart Box Rule House integrated with PjBL is feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing students’ collaboration skills through interactive and project-based learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of character education based on activities at MIN 1 Boyolali. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consist of teachers selected purposively because they are directly involved in implementing the character education program. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation, while data analysis uses an interactive model encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is ensured through source and method triangulation. The research findings indicate that the implementation of character education is carried out systematically and integrated with the madrasah's vision through intracurricular, cocurricular, and extracurricular activities such as Dhuha prayer, Al-Qur'an tadarus, daily infaq, outing class, and anti-bullying declaration. The program involves the madrasah principal, teachers, homeroom teachers, and parents as partners in character building. This implementation has a positive impact on enhancing students' religious attitudes, discipline, and social concern, although it still faces challenges such as limited time, number of teachers, and large number of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the practicality of differentiated PBL-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on vector material. This study is expected to help students learn independently and improve problem-solving skills. This research is a development research (R&D) using ADDIE, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of this study were students of moving class XI SMAN 1 Salimpaung in the 2025/2026 academic year. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and learning outcome tests. The practicality score for this development research from the results of students was 91.7%, while from the results of educators it reached 97.2% which is categorized as very practical.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of energy systems in determining athletic performance through a systematic literature review approach. Energy systems in sports consist of the ATP PC system, anaerobic glycolysis, and the aerobic system, each contributing differently depending on exercise intensity and duration. The method used in this study is a systematic review of 15 national scientific sources, including journals and books related to exercise physiology, VO2Max, and metabolic energy systems. The results show that the ATP PC system dominates short duration and high intensity activities, while anaerobic glycolysis supports moderate intensity efforts, and the aerobic system plays a major role in long duration activities. In addition, VO2Max is identified as a key indicator of aerobic capacity that significantly influences endurance and recovery ability. Environmental factors and training methods such as interval training also contribute to optimizing energy system efficiency. The findings indicate that the integration of all energy systems is essential in supporting optimal athletic performance. Therefore, understanding exercise physiology and energy systems is crucial in designing effective and structured training programs to improve athlete performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of public relations management at SDQT Nurul Islam and its role in establishing relationships with the community. The study uses a qualitative approach through interviews with educational staff. The results show that public relations management does not yet have a formal structure and is carried out collaboratively by operators, administrators, homeroom teachers, and teachers who manage social media. PR activities are more focused on internal communication with parents via WhatsApp, handling complaints, and weekly recitations. Its implementation still faces obstacles in the form of limited human resources and suboptimal use of digital media. This study concludes that the role of PR has been carried out, but organizational strengthening and a more systematic communication strategy are still needed.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is motivated by the development of majlis ta’lim as a non-formal Islamic educational institution that plays an important role in improving the religious and social quality of society. Majlis ta’lim not only functions as a medium for delivering Islamic teachings but also serves as a platform for fostering the social attitudes of its members in everyday life. In the context of modern society, the existence of majlis ta’lim is expected to provide a tangible contribution to the improvement of worship practices as well as sustainable changes in social behavior. However, not all majlis ta’lim are able to demonstrate optimal effectiveness, thus requiring a deeper study of the da’wah approaches applied in community development activities. This study aims to analyze the da’wah approaches implemented by Majlis Ta’lim As-Salam and to identify the forms of improvement in worship practices and social attitudes of its members. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with administrators, preachers, and active participants, participant observation, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed systematically through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing to identify patterns of da’wah approaches applied in the activities of the majlis ta’lim. The results show that the da’wah approaches applied include educational, persuasive, and social approaches that are integrated. The educational approach is carried out through regular religious study sessions that enhance the participants’ understanding of Islamic teachings, particularly in worship practices. The persuasive approach is implemented through wise and humanistic communication, making it easier for participants to accept the da’wah messages. Meanwhile, the social approach is realized through various activities such as charity programs, social services, and educational assistance, which contribute to increasing social awareness and solidarity among participants. These values of togetherness, care, and solidarity are strongly internalized in the daily lives of the participants. In conclusion, a holistic and contextual da’wah approach has proven to significantly improve both worship practices and social attitudes. This study suggests that the integration of educational, persuasive, and social approaches in majlis ta’lim activities can serve as an adaptive and sustainable community-based da’wah model.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of the use of the niqab among Muslim women as part of religious practices that have emerged in urban society. The primary focus of the study is on understanding Surah Al-Ahzab [33]: 59 and how this verse is interpreted and implemented in daily life by Muslim women in Denai Village, Medan Denai Subdistrict, Medan City. This phenomenon is worth studying due to the diversity of motivations underlying the wearing of the veil, whether theological, social, or personal. This study employs a qualitative approach using the “Living Qur’an” study method, which positions the Qur’an as a living text within the social practices of the community. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation of informants who are Muslim women wearing the niqab in Denai Village. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach, tracing the relationship between the understanding of religious texts and the reality of social practices. The results indicate that the motivations for wearing the niqab are not singular but diverse, encompassing religious impulses as a form of obedience to the Qur’an’s commands, efforts to preserve personal dignity, as well as the influence of the social environment and religious communities. Furthermore, it was found that the interpretation of Surah Al-Ahzab [33]: 59 tends to be understood textually by some informants, while others combine a contextual approach. The practice of wearing the veil in this context reflects the internalization of Qur’anic values that are alive within society. Thus, this study confirms that the phenomenon of the veil is a manifestation of the diverse and contextual dynamics of Qur’anic interpretation in the lives of modern Muslim women.
