Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of implementing the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) as an effort to improve the quality of education, although its implementation at the elementary school level still faces several challenges. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of ANBK in improving educational quality at SDN Cakung Barat 03, as well as to identify the obstacles, stakeholder motivation, and its impact on school quality. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of ANBK at SDN Cakung Barat 03 has been carried out fairly well and has had a positive impact on improving the quality of education, particularly in literacy, numeracy, and strengthening a data-driven evaluation culture. However, several challenges remain, such as limited infrastructure, technological readiness, and human resource competence. In addition, the motivation of the principal and teachers plays a significant role in supporting the success of ANBK implementation. Efforts to improve quality are carried out through enhancing teachers’ competencies in developing literacy- and numeracy-based assessment items, strengthening school digitalization through training programs, and optimizing infrastructure and school management. Therefore, the implementation of ANBK contributes to the continuous improvement of educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance-based supervision model in educational quality assurance concerning the evaluation of teacher performance in schools. The approach used is qualitative with a literature review method, which involves examining various scientific sources such as journals, books, and relevant educational policy documents. The findings indicate that performancebased supervision can enhance the objectivity, accountability, and effectiveness of teacher performance evaluation when supported by clear indicators, standardized instruments, and continuous follow-up. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including limited supervisory competencies, a weak evaluation culture, and suboptimal utilization of data. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen an integrated supervision system within the framework of educational quality assurance.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between ChatGPT usage and digital literacy among students of the Educational Technology Study Program at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Preliminary observations found that 97% of students actively use AI tools predominantly ChatGPT yet critical evaluation of AI-generated content remains limited. A quantitative correlational design was employed with a population of 611 active students (cohorts 2020–2025); 242 respondents were selected via proportional random sampling (Slovin’s formula, 5% error margin). ChatGPT usage was measured across three indicators (Use Skill, Critical Understanding, Communicative Ability) and digital literacy across eight DigComp 2.1 dimensions. Data were analysed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS 27; non-normality (Kolmogorov Smirnov: Asymp. Sig. = 0.006 < 0.05) warranted Spearman Rank correlation. Results show ChatGPT usage at a moderate level (mean = 49.20 of 60; 69.0%) and digital literacy similarly moderate (mean = 67.00 of 80; 70.7%). The Spearman coefficient (rs = 0.750; p < 0.001) confirms a strong, significant positive relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is the continued dominance of the lecture method in teaching, which results in low student participation, motivation, and academic achievement. Therefore, there is a need for more active and collaborative teaching methods. The syawir method, as a consensus-based approach, and the learning together method, as a cooperative learning model, are considered capable of increasing student engagement in the learning process. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of the syawir method and the learning together method on improving the academic achievement of students at SMP ALBERR Pandaan, both partially and simultaneously. This study employs a quantitative approach using an experimental design. The study sample consisted of 126 students selected using proportional random sampling. Data collection was conducted via a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been validated for both validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included linearity tests, t-tests, and F-tests via multiple linear regression. The results showed that, partially, the Syawir method had a positive and significant effect on academic achievement with a t-value of 8.556 and a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). The learning together method also had a positive and significant effect with a t-value of 7.326 and a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). Simultaneously, both methods showed a significant effect on academic achievement with an F-value of 79.265 and a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). Thus, the combination of the syawir method and collaborative learning is effective in improving student academic performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between visual-spatial ability and map concept comprehension among third-grade elementary school students. This is a correlational study using a quantitative approach. The population in this study consists of all third-grade elementary school students in Susukan Subdistrict, East Jakarta, for the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 520 students, with a minimum sample size of 84 students determined using the Slovin formula at a 10% margin of error. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling. Data were collected through a multiple-choice test to measure students’ visual-spatial abilities and their understanding of map concepts. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques, with hypothesis testing using Spearman’s Rank Correlation (ρ) because the data were non-normally distributed. The results of the study indicate a positive and significant relationship between students’ visual-spatial abilities and their understanding of map concepts, with a correlation coefficient of ρ = 0.728, which falls into the strong category. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sosial dalam kehidupan masyarakat desa sebagai bagian dari implementasi nilai-nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam, seperti kepedulian sosial, ukhuwah, dan tanggung jawab kolektif. Dalam masyarakat desa yang memiliki hubungan sosial erat dan interaksi yang intens, menjaga lingkungan sosial menjadi faktor penting dalam menciptakan harmoni dan keseimbangan kehidupan bersama. Namun, perkembangan sosial modern berpotensi menggeser nilai-nilai tersebut, sehingga diperlukan kajian mendalam mengenai bagaimana masyarakat memaknai konsep ini dalam perspektif keagamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna menjaga lingkungan sosial menurut pandangan tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, serta masyarakat desa yang mencakup orang tua dan remaja. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan menganalisis nilai-nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam yang terkandung dalam praktik menjaga lingkungan sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menjaga lingkungan sosial tidak hanya dipahami sebagai hubungan interpersonal, tetapi juga sebagai implementasi nilai Islam seperti ta’awun, ukhuwah Islamiyah, dan amar ma’ruf nahi munkar, yang tercermin dalam aktivitas gotong royong dan kepedulian sosial masyarakat.

Abstract

Reading ability is a fundamental skill that playsa crucial role in supporting students’ academic success at the elementary school level. However, in reality, there are still many students who experience difficulties in reading, both in terms of fluency and comprehension. This issue is also found among Fourth-grade students at SDN Pebatan 01, where some students still read haltingly despite having participated in literacy acruvutues at school. This condition is presumed to be related to the less optimal role of parents in assisting children’s learning at home and the limited social support from the surrounding environment. This study aims to describe the role of parets and the forms of social support in improving students’ reading abilities. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, prents, and students. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion dawing. The results indicate that parental involment in assisting children’s reading activities is still not optimal, mainly due to time constraints and a lack of awareness regarding the importance of literacy. In aadtion, social support from the school environment and the community has not fully contributed to improvingstudents’ reading skills. The literacy programs implemented by the school havenot yet produced evenly distributed outcomes among students. Therefore, improving studets’ reading ability requires collaboration among schools, parents, and the social eniroment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how teachers in rural schools adapt to various limitations and how work culture is formed under such conditions. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of teachers in several rural schools. The results show that limitations in infrastructure, access to technology, and high workload encourage teachers to develop adaptive strategies, such as informal collaboration, innovation in learning based on local resources, and increased role flexibility. The work culture that emerges tends to emphasize solidarity, creativity, and resilience.The implications of this study highlight the importance of more contextual policy support, training improvement based on local needs, and the provision of adequate facilities to strengthen the professionalism and well-being of teachers in rural areas.

Abstract

Learning activities are understood as a phenomenon experienced by students, which is seen in behavioral growth due to interactions with the surrounding environment, which is inseparable from the influence of mathematical disposition and learning environment. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of mathematical disposition ( ) and learning environment ( ) on mathematics learning outcomes ( ) of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Grogot. The method applied in this research is a quantitative approach through an ex post facto design framework. The population in this research includes all grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Grogot in the 2024/2025 academic year with a totaling 198 students. The sample was selected through a probability sampling method with a total sample of 155 students. The research instruments include questionnaires and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential, namely through multiple linear regression analysis at a significance level ( ) of 5%. Descriptive findings show that the average mathematical disposition and learning environment are in the moderate category, and the average mathematics learning outcomes with a value of 59,05 are in the poor category. The results of the inferential analysis using multiple linear regression method, obtained a regression equation model: . The resulting coefficient of determination ( ) is 0,332. The results of the inferential analysis for the t test show a significance value for the regression coefficient (mathematical disposition) and the regression coefficient value (learning environment) less than , namely and , then is rejected, meaning that the mathematical disposition variable influences students’ mathematics learning outcomes and the learning environment variable also influences students’ mathematics learning outcomes. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of mathematical disposition and learning environment on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Grogot.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of international trade, exchange rates, inflation, and investment on economic growth in BRICS countries using indicators such as the ratio of exports of goods and services to GDP, exchange rates against the US dollar, consumer price index, gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) to GDP ratio, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The analytical method employed is the Panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model, using EViews 12 software. The data used in this study are panel data, combining cross-sectional data from BRICS countries (including Indonesia) and time series data from 2015 to 2024 sourced from the World Bank.The results indicate that in the short run, exchange rates have a negative and significant effect on economic growth, while international trade, investment, and inflation do not have a significant effect. In the long run, all variables—international trade, exchange rates, inflation, and investment—have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in BRICS countries.
