Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure play a strategic role in special education because learning services for students with special needs require accessible, adaptive, and functional environments. This study aims to analyze the availability, utilization, constraints, and development efforts of educational facilities and infrastructure at SLB C Tunas Harapan Karawang. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The main data were obtained from interview results and were analyzed through data reduction, thematic presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the available facilities have supported classroom learning and skill-development activities. The school uses existing facilities not only for academic instruction but also for functional learning, independence training, and practical activities. However, several facilities still need further development because special education requires more specific learning spaces, adaptive media, accessibility support, and continuous maintenance than general schools. The school responds to these limitations by optimizing available resources, adjusting learning activities to students' characteristics, and prioritizing practical skill activities. The study concludes that facilities and infrastructure at SLB C Tunas Harapan Karawang have been used productively, but their quality and adequacy should be strengthened through need-based planning, stakeholder collaboration, and periodic evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Receivable Turnover, Liquidity, Solvability, and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Financial Performance in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2022–2025 period. Financial performance is proxied by Net Profit Margin (NPM). This study employs an associative quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports. The sample was determined through purposive sampling, resulting in 17 companies with 68 observations (a four-year unbalanced panel). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination test, t-test, and F-test with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results show that, partially, Receivable Turnover, Liquidity, and Solvability have no significant effect on Financial Performance, whereas Total Asset Turnover has a significant negative effect on Financial Performance. Simultaneously, all four independent variables significantly affect Financial Performance, with an Adjusted R Square of 0.270, indicating that 27.0% of the variation in Financial Performance is explained by the model, while the remaining 73.0% is explained by other factors outside the model. These findings imply that asset-utilization effectiveness should be a primary concern for management in efforts to improve firm profitability.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into elementary education has fundamentally altered student learning frameworks. While offering efficiency, easy access to instant solutions triggers a critical dependency that threatens children’s natural cognitive structure. This study aims to identify, analyze, and evaluate the specific impacts of AI dependency on the cognitive learning outcomes of elementary school students. Operating a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method strictly adhering to the PRISMA 2020 protocol, metadata tracking was comprehensively executed using the Google Scholar database for articles published between 2021 and 2025. Following rigorous inclusion and exclusion screenings, 14 relevant scientific articles were ultimately selected for qualitative content analysis. The synthesis highlights a bifurcated impact of AI implementation. When systematically directed, AI significantly operates as a positive learning assistant by clarifying abstract concepts through visualization and tailored instructional personalization. Conversely, unregulated usage induces a severe dependency pattern that distinctly degrades critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and long-term memory retention. This decline heavily restricts opportunities for autonomous problem-solving and hampers Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Conclusively, AI must be strictly stationed as a learning assistant rather than a surrogate for human cognitive processing. Maximizing AI’s pedagogical potential requires a robust synergy of instructional supervision by teachers and parents, alongside cultivating foundational digital literacy from an early age.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension ability of fourth-grade students at SDN 53 Palembang, particularly in understanding the content of short stories, determining the main idea, and concluding the stories read. This study aims to develop a learning medium in the form of a short-story book based on the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) approach that meets valid and practical criteria for use in Indonesian language learning for fourth-grade elementary school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) applying the 4D model, which consists of four main stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The short-story book medium was designed using the Canva Premium application in A5 size, integrating interactive activities based on the SAVI approach, including physical-activity columns, speaking/listening instructions, coloured illustrations, and reflective-thinking challenges. The results showed that the level of product validity based on expert assessment obtained an average percentage of 93.93%, categorised as very valid, while the practicality test through one-to-one and small-group evaluations obtained average percentages of 94.44% and 89.83% respectively, both categorised as very practical. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the SAVI-based short-story book learning medium is feasible, valid, and practical for use as an innovative supporting medium to increase student engagement and reading comprehension in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development process of ARTIKA (Articulate Storyline and Informatics), an interactive multimedia product for seventh-grade Informatics, and to determine its validity and practicality. This study was motivated by the limited instructional media used in Informatics classes at MTsN 11 Agam, largely because the subject teacher lacks a technology-related educational background, so that classroom materials tend to be simple, non-interactive slides; daily assessment data further show that seventh-grade students' average scores of 68.86 still fall below the 75-point mastery criterion, while the school's computer laboratory provides only eight functioning units for six classes. A Research and Development approach following the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) proposed by Thiagarajan was applied. The product was built with Articulate Storyline, supported by Canva for visual assets and a web-to-APK converter so that it can run on computers and smartphones, offline and online. Content covers six Informatics topics for two semesters under the Merdeka Curriculum, packaged with adventure-themed illustration, narrative text, interactive navigation buttons, and background audio. Feasibility was examined through expert judgment involving one material expert and two media experts, followed by a limited field trial with thirty students of class VII A. Results show a material validity score of 5.00, media validity scores of 4.77 and 4.93, and a practicality score of 4.69, all falling in the very valid and very practical categories. These findings suggest ARTIKA can serve as a flexible and engaging alternative medium that helps overcome facility constraints in Informatics instruction.

Abstract

The quality of education is inseparable from the readiness of prospective teachers to carry out their professional duties. This study examines the influence of interest in becoming an economics teacher and digital literacy on the readiness to become an economics teacher among Economics Education students at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), cohort 2022. Grounded in Bandura's Social Cognitive Theory, interest in teaching is positioned as a personal factor while digital literacy functions as an environmental factor, both of which interact reciprocally to shape the behavioral dimension of teacher readiness. An explanatory quantitative design was employed with total sampling, yielding 93 respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analysed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 27. Classical assumption tests confirmed that the model was free from violations of normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. Results indicate that interest in becoming an economics teacher exerts a positive and significant effect on teacher readiness (β = 0.617; t = 4.203; p < 0.001). Digital literacy similarly demonstrates a positive and significant effect (β = 1.259; t = 6.482; p < 0.001), with a stronger relative contribution (β-standardised = 0.541) compared to interest (β-standardised = 0.351). Simultaneously, both predictors explain 67.6% of the variance in teacher readiness (Adjusted R² = 0.676; F = 96.819; p < 0.001). These findings underscore the need for teacher education institutions to cultivate teaching vocation and strengthen digital competence as strategic pillars in preparing professional economics teachers.
