Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Implications of the Implementation of the TPACK Model (Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge) in natural and social sciences at SDN 109 Palembang. The background of this research is the use of conventional teaching methods that cause student boredom, despite the availability of technological facilities that have not yet been utilized optimally. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study strategy. The subjects of this study are the principal, class v c teachers and class v c students at SDN 109 Palembang. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the Miles and Huberman model, which encompasses data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the implementation of the TPACK model in natural and social sciences at SDN 109 Palembang has gone well because teachers in class v c are able to compile a teaching module that integrates the three main domains of TPACK and the implications of the implementation of the TPACK model have a positive impact on the learning process, including improving the quality of the learning process that is more contextual and meaningful, increasing student activity and participation in natural and social sciences materials as well as increasing interest and Motivation to learn. Nevertheless, several challenges remain to be addressed, namely the limited number of projectors that are sometimes shared between classes, electrical disruptions, and limited internet data quotas that can hinder the smooth running of technology-based learning. Therefore, continuous support from the school and relevant policy stakeholders is greatly needed to optimize the implementation of the TPACK model in natural and social sciences going forward. Abstract

This study addresses the problem of Indonesian spelling errors frequently found in morphology papers written by second-semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at UNISDA Lamongan. The study aims to describe the forms of spelling errors appearing in students’ academic writing. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with students’ papers serving as the data source. The data consisted of errors in the use of capital letters, prepositions, punctuation marks, non-standard words, and loanwords. Data were collected through documentation and note-taking techniques and analyzed by identifying, classifying, and describing the errors based on the Indonesian Spelling Guidelines (Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia/PUEBI). The results indicate that punctuation errors and the use of non-standard words were the most dominant types of errors. These findings suggest that the errors were mainly caused by students’ limited understanding of Indonesian spelling rules and insufficient accuracy in academic writing. Therefore, improving students’ mastery of spelling conventions is necessary to enhance the quality of academic writing.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding (1) the effect of digital literacy on the performance of accounting cycle practice of vocational high school students, (2) the effect of basic accounting understanding on the performance of accounting cycle practice of vocational high school students, (3) the effect of digital literacy and basic accounting understanding simultaneously on the performance of accounting cycle practice of vocational high school students. This research is a quantitative research with a causal associative approach. The population in this study is all students of grade XI of the Accounting and Finance Expertise Program of SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta which totals 106 students. The research sample of 84 students was determined using a simple random sampling technique with the Slovin formula. The data collection technique was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires, documentation, and performance tests. Questionnaires were used to measure digital literacy, documentation was used to obtain basic accounting comprehension data through student report card scores, while performance tests were used to measure the performance of students' accounting cycle practice with the help of Microsoft Excel. The data analysis used was descriptive statistics, analytical prerequisite tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of the study show that (1) digital literacy does not have a significant effect on the performance of students' accounting cycle practices; (2) understanding of basic accounting has a significant effect on the performance of students' accounting cycle practices; and (3) digital literacy and understanding of basic accounting simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of students' accounting cycle practices. Thus, it can be concluded that understanding basic accounting is a more dominant factor in improving the performance of accounting cycle practices, while digital literacy individually has not had a significant influence, but together it still contributes to improving the performance of students' practice.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of effective classroom management in supporting the success of Indonesian language learning in lower elementary grades. Based on preliminary observations, the classroom conditions were not fully conducive, as indicated by decreased student focus and participation during the learning process. Therefore, an appropriate learning strategy is needed, one of which is the expository learning strategy that emphasizes systematic, structured, and teacher-centered delivery of material. This study aims to describe the implementation of the expository learning strategy in classroom management in the Indonesian language subject for grade II students at SD Negeri 008/VI Lubuk Gaung I in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results show that the implementation of the expository learning strategy was carried out through several stages, including introduction, material presentation, question-and-answer interaction, and practice and evaluation. This strategy helped teachers manage the classroom effectively, create a more orderly and conducive learning environment, and improve students’ understanding of the learning material. Therefore, the expository learning strategy is proven to be effective in supporting classroom management and enhancing the quality of Indonesian language learning in first-grade elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using assistive technology (Traffic Light Card) on the learning independence of deaf children at Quantum Brain Inclusive School. The problem addressed is the low learning independence of deaf children, indicated by their dependence on teacher assistance in understanding instructions and completing learning tasks. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research subjects were 11 deaf students selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the pretest mean score was 48.45 (low category for all students), while the posttest mean score increased to 73.82 (high category for all students). The Shapiro-Wilk test confirmed that both pretest and posttest data were normally distributed (p > 0.05). The paired sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It can be concluded that the use of the Traffic Light Card as a simple visual assistive technology is effective in improving the learning independence of deaf children, supported by clear and easily understood visual cues that help students communicate their level of understanding independently. Teachers in inclusive schools are recommended to integrate the Traffic Light Card consistently to enhance students' learning independence, confidence, active participation, decision-making ability, and learning communication.

Abstract

The implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is a crucial foundation for organizational sustainability in the globalization era. In the context of Islamic financial institutions and sharia-based companies, this governance is transformed into the Islamic Corporate Governance (Islamic CG) model, which integrates material aspects with spiritual values sourced from the Qur'an and Sunnah. This study aims to understand the concept of Islamic CG and analyze the implementation, challenges, and efforts in executing its two main principles: transparency and accountability. The method used is a descriptive qualitative analysis based on literature review. The results show that in Islamic CG, the principle of transparency is rooted in the value of ṣidq (honesty), while accountability reflects the values of mas’uliyyah (responsibility) and amanah (trustworthiness). The implementation of these two principles still faces multidimensional challenges, such as a low internal understanding of Islamic governance, the limited role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS), and the absence of comprehensive standardized guidelines. Strategic efforts to overcome these issues include internalizing Islamic values within the organizational culture, strengthening the competence of human resources and the DPS, developing transparent reporting standards, and utilizing information technology. Through a solid Islamic CG model, companies are expected not only to enhance public trust but also to achieve business blessings in accordance with the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah).

Abstract

This study examines the use of slang language as an interactive communication strategy in Deddy Corbuzier’s podcast from a media pragmatics perspective. The study aims to describe the forms of slang language and explain its role in supporting communication within digital media. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. The data consisted of utterances containing slang expressions in the podcast episode entitled “REZA: VIDI, KAMU DIEM DULU!! AKU DARAH TINGGI INI” published in November 2025. Data were collected through observation and note-taking techniques and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that slang language appears in various forms, including non-standard words, Indonesian–English code-mixing, popular expressions, and spontaneous emotional utterances. The use of slang functions not only as an informal language variety but also as a communication strategy that facilitates information exchange, strengthens audience engagement, builds social closeness, and supports emotional expression among participants. Furthermore, slang language contributes to creating a more relaxed, interactive, and contextual communication atmosphere. These findings indicate that slang language has become an important element of digital communication practices and plays a significant role in shaping communication patterns in contemporary podcast media.

Abstract

Differentiated instruction has become a key pedagogical approach within Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum. However, empirical evidence explaining how it is systematically implemented in vocational Economics classrooms remains limited. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of differentiated instruction in Grade X Economics learning at SMK Raudlatul Ulum Ledokombo Jember. Unlike previous studies that primarily emphasize instructional effectiveness or teachers' readiness, this study proposes a process-oriented perspective by conceptualizing differentiated instruction as an integrated pedagogical framework linking diagnostic assessment, adaptive instruction, and authentic assessment. The findings identify three interconnected dimensions that shape effective differentiated learning implementation. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a single-case study design. The research involved 14 purposively selected informants, comprising one principal, one vice principal for curriculum, one Economics teacher, and eleven Grade X students. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed using an interactive model of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing supported by source triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings reveal that differentiated instruction was implemented through three integrated stages: (1) diagnostic assessment-informed instructional planning, (2) adaptive classroom implementation involving differentiated content, process, and product, and (3) continuous formative assessment supported by authentic feedback and flexible learning products. These findings demonstrate that the effectiveness of differentiated instruction depends on the coherence between planning, instructional adaptation, and assessment rather than on isolated teaching strategies. The study contributes to strengthening the conceptual understanding of differentiated instruction as a holistic pedagogical process within vocational Economics education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inner conflict of the main character in the novel Rumah untuk Alie by Lenn Liu using Sigmund Freud's literary psychology. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a literary psychology approach. The data source was the novel Rumah untuk Alie, while the data consisted of words, phrases, dialogues, and narratives representing the personality structures of id, ego, and superego. Data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed descriptively. The findings show that id is the dominant personality structure with 26 data, followed by ego and superego with 18 data each. Id is reflected in emotional expressions such as anger, sadness, hatred, loss, and the need for affection, ego appears in the character's ability to adapt to reality and control emotions, while superego is reflected in moral values and social norms. These findings indicate that the main character's inner conflict develops through the interaction of emotional impulses, reality adjustment, and moral considerations.
