Abstract

The rapid growth of technology has significantly impacted various fields, especially field of education. In this case, technology can be used to create fun, interactive, digital learning media or teaching aids that are aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. In this curriculum, Bahasa Indonesia learning requires students to understand fictional texts in order to comprehend, identify ideas, and interpret information from the texts they read or listened to. Based on analysis and observation at SDN Pancoran 07 South Jakarta, there is a need for make learning media to help students understand and interpret information from reading materials. Therefore, a digital comic with voiceover in Indonesian was developed on the topic of “Pertukaran dan Pembayaran” , using the ADDIE development model adjusted to its five stages. The goal of developing this digital comic media is to improve reading comprehension skills for 4th-grade students. The results of the research show that using the digital comic media has led to an improvement in reading comprehension, which can be seen from the pre-test and post-test results conducted in each class. Specifically, in the media field test, an improvement of 63.5% was observed.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model in learning to write review texts for class VIII students at PUI Gegesik Middle School. This research is a type of quasi experiment. The design used was nonequivalent control group design, with the sample consisting of two classes, namely class VIII A with a total of 24 and class VIII B with a total of 24. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Based on the data, it shows that the final average score for the experimental class learning outcomes using the STAD learning model is 78.1, while the final average score for the control class learning outcomes using the expository learning model is 67.5. Obtained a calculated t value of 5.526, the t table value refers to the formula (a/2); (df) equals (0.05/2); (46) equals 0.025; 46. ​​In this value, in the statistical table t value distribution, the t table value was found to be 2.014. Thus the calculated t value is 5.526 > t table 2.014, so that in this test it shows that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which states "the application of the STAD learning model in learning to write review texts for class VIII students at PUI Gegesik Middle School is effective" is accepted.

Abstract

This study is to examine the interdisciplinary approach in the interpretation of the Qur'an by integrating the science of interpretation and social sciences. The purpose of the study is to understand the integration between the science of interpretation and social sciences. The research method used is library research, where data is collected from various relevant literature sources. The results of the study indicate that the interdisciplinary approach allows a more comprehensive understanding of the text of the Qur'an, taking into account the social, cultural, and historical contexts. The integration between the science of interpretation and social sciences provides a new perspective in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an, so that it can answer the challenges and needs of contemporary society. The conclusion of this study is that the interdisciplinary approach in the interpretation of the Qur'an is very important to develop a more holistic and applicable understanding of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research examines the character of English Education students at Nias University, specifically focusing on the definition of character, the importance of good character in student life, and emphasizing the aspects of discipline and politeness. Character is defined as noble values that are manifested in a person's behavior and actions, shaping their identity and morality. Good character is crucial for students, as it supports academic success, fosters responsible individuals, and prepares them to become integral members of society. Character discipline is a vital aspect that encompasses punctuality, responsibility, and dedication in fulfilling duties and obligations. Polite character involves courteous, respectful, and empathetic behavior in interactions with lecturers, fellow students, and the surrounding environment. This research aims to understand the perceptions of English Education students at Nias University regarding the importance of character, as well as to identify factors influencing the development of their character in terms of discipline and politeness. The research findings are expected to provide recommendations for developing more effective character education programs to enhance the quality of English Education students at Nias University.

Abstract

This study explores the complex dynamics of the role of English in shaping the cultural identities of indigenous peoples in various regions. This comprehensive study analyzes how contact with English influences the preservation, transformation, and negotiation of cultural identities in indigenous communities. Through a multidisciplinary approach combining ethnographic, linguistic, and anthropological methods, the study reveals the mechanisms of interaction between global languages and local cultural heritages. The findings show that indigenous peoples are not simply passive recipients of English influence, but actively adapt and redefine their identities through dynamic linguistic practices. The study highlights the complexity of the process of cultural hybridization, where English acts as a tool for negotiation, resistance, and reconstruction of identities.

Abstract

Di zaman milenial, di mana teknologi berkembang dengan cepat, pendidikan tidak lagi terbatas pada buku teks atau dinding kelas. Teknologi telah memungkinkan siswa dan guru bekerja sama di seluruh dunia dan mendapatkan akses ke berbagai sumber belajar. Permasalahan yang ditemukan berdasarkan hasil observasi antara lain: 1) kurangnya fasilitas yang menghambat pembalajaran berbasis teknologi. 2) kurangnya guru yang paham akan teknologi. 3) kurangnya budaya literasi dikelas, 4) rendahnya pengetahuan anak-anak tentang media digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital anak usia dini dengan implementasi pembelajaran bahasa berbantuan Mobile (Web Game). Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah PTK yang melibatkan 20 anak diantaranya yang terlibat 11 perempuan dan 9 laki-laki. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dari siklus I mencapai rata-rata 43% masih belum memenuhi target kriteria ketuntasan minimal 80%, namun meningkat pada siklus II mencapai rata-rata 86%. Kesimpulannya bahwa impelementasi pembelajaran bahasa berbasis Mobile (Web Game) dapat meningkatkan literasi digital anak usia dini. Pembelajaran bahasa berbasis web game dapat membantu anak usia dini meningkatkan literasi digital dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan interaktif. Hal ini dapat menjadi pembelajaran efektif dengan meningkatkan literasi digital anak usia dini yang dapat digunakan untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of parenting program implementation on collaboration between parents and teachers when assisting students' education at Rabbi Radhiyya IT Junior High School, Rejang Lebong. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, data was obtained through a questionnaire involving a sample of students in grades VII, VIII, and IX. Data analysis was done using SPSS version 25. The results showed that the implementation of the parenting program had a significant effect on parent-teacher collaboration, with the level of influence classified as moderate (16%). Good implementation of parenting can improve communication and parental involvement in supporting children's education, as well as creating synergy between home and school. However, challenges such as time constraints and varying levels of parental participation are still obstacles to optimizing the program. This study concludes that the implementation of a structured, relevant and inclusive parenting program is essential to improve collaboration between parents and schools. Continuous evaluation is also needed to ensure the effectiveness of the program in supporting students' academic achievement and character development.

Abstract

The Qur'an and Arabic are closely related, but are still separate in learning. Phase A students (aged 6-8 years) need an interactive approach to make it easier to understand and apply the material. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the NAWA (Nadwah Al-Qur'an Wa Arabiyyah) method in integrating Qur'an and Arabic learning with the concept of edutainment based on discussion, exploration, and direct experience. This study uses a research and development (R&D) method with the Borg & Gall model. Data were collected through pretest and posttest, then analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired t-test. The results showed that the data were normally distributed (p> 0.05), but there was no significant difference between the pretest and posttest (p = 0.4707). Although statistically insignificant, the NAWA method provides a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience for students. Factors such as duration of implementation, teacher readiness, and student characteristics can affect the effectiveness of learning. Therefore, further research is recommended to extend the application of the NAWA method and try it at higher levels of education to test its effectiveness in improving understanding of the Qur'an and Arabic in greater depth.

Abstract

Low work ethic is the basis for this research Small and Medium Industry (SMI) business actors in the Pesisir Selatan Regency area, an area that has a wealth of fishery potential but still needs improvement in the aspect of developing human resource capabilities. The government and related institutions have made various efforts to improve their work ethic, one of the steps is by giving continuous training with the aim of improving quality and productivity of business actors. The main objective of this study is to analyze in depth the effect of training on the work ethic of SMEs in Pesisir Selatan Regency. The dependent variable used in this study is work ethic (Y), while training acts as an independent variable. (X). The research sample consisted of 45 fisheries SMI actors who had participated in the training program. The research methodology The research method used is quantitative method, where the data collection uses questionnaire instruments that have gone through validity and reliability testing. To analyze the data, researchers applied simple linear regression techniques using SPSS 23 software to process and interpret the data. This allows researchers to statistically test the causal relationship between training and work ethic. Based on the results of the analysis, there is a positive and significant effect of training on work ethic of SMEs in Pesisir Selatan Regency, where a significance value of 0.000 is obtained which is below 0.05 with a calculated T value of 4.796> T table value 0.68024.

Abstract

This research examines the internalization of Sundanese cultural character values ​​through the implementation of P5 based on traditional games at SDN Cangkuang 02. This research is motivated by concerns about the fading of local culture and the emergence of character problems in schools, such as lack of manners, low level of concern, responsibility and interaction. social, as well as mutual cooperation in group activities. The focus of this research is on traditional Sundanese games such as congklak, bekel, sapintrong, sondah and ucing sumput. This game plays a role in preserving culture and at the same time teaches students character values. This game is considered effective in teaching important values ​​that are in line with the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely having noble character, mutual cooperation and creativity. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation of the principal, teachers and grade 4 students of SDN Cangkuang 02. The results of the research show that traditional games can help integrate Sundanese cultural values ​​into the learning process. This not only deepens students' understanding of local culture but also strengthens students' character according to the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. This research is expected to contribute and understand that traditional games can be an effective means of teaching character values ​​to students.
