Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to examine the learning innovations implemented at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) An-Nuur and its impact on improving the quality of education. Learning innovation is an effort to improve and develop learning methods and strategies to be more effective and efficient in achieving educational goals. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the learning innovations implemented at MDTA An-Nuur, such as the use of technology in learning, the application of active learning methods, and the development of competency-based curriculum, can significantly improve the quality of education. Students showed an increase in learning motivation, critical thinking skills, and understanding of subject matter. This study suggests that learning innovations continue to be developed and adjusted to student needs and technological developments to achieve better quality of education.

This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The experimental design applied was one group pretest-posttest design. The population and sample in the research were students in class VA SDN 64/I Muara Bulian, totaling 27 students. The sampling technique used in this research was Probability Sampling with Cluster Random Sampling type. The data collection technique is a problem solving ability test. Validation of the assessment instrument uses validity tests and reliability tests. Data analysis techniques through normality and hypothesis testing activities. The research results show that the PMRI approach has quite an influence on the problem solving abilities of fifth grade elementary school students. This is proven by the average initial ability value, namely 47.34, and the final ability after being given the PBL model treatment, namely 68.60. According to N-Gain calculations, the average increase from pretest to posttest is 0.43 in the medium category. After carrying out the Wilcoxon test, the sig value was also obtained. < 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, meaning Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be stated that the PMRI approach has quite an influence on the problem solving abilities of fifth grade elementary school students.

This study aims to develop a STEM-SRSD-based Natural and Social Science learning model to improve the numeracy and critical thinking skills of elementary school students that is valid, practical, and effective. The development of this model is motivated by the greater focus on literacy skills, while numeracy skills are often neglected, even though these skills are crucial in the modern era. Based on preliminary studies, the use of STEM approaches and SRSD strategies is still limited among teachers. Therefore, this research aims to develop a learning model that can train students' numeracy skills. This study uses a mixed-method approach with an embedded experimental model design. The development model selected is the 4D design (define, design, develop, disseminate). The research subjects consisted of 19 students in the experimental class and 18 students in the control class at SD Negeri 01 Panca Tunggal Jaya. The results showed that expert validation obtained an average score of 7.10 with a validity percentage of 78.85%, categorized as valid. The practicality test showed an average score of 95.79%, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness test showed an N-Gain of 0.74 for the experimental class (effective), while the control class had 0.04 (less effective). Therefore, the STEM-SRSD learning model is valid, practical, and effective in improving the numeracy and critical thinking skills of elementary school students, while also introducing a new learning model.

This research discusses spelling errors that are often experienced by elementary school students. These errors usually occur when writing an essay. Errors that often occur in writing essays are errors in the use of capital letters and punctuation. Spelling is a set of guidelines or standards that must be followed when writing so that readers can understand sentences and writers can achieve the desired goals. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive research. The subjects in this research were class IV students, class IV teachers. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is reading markers. The results of this research prove that there are still 4 students who still use capital letters incorrectly in people's names and place names. Efforts to reduce errors in using capital letters and punctuation in writing essays are 1) literacy, 2) Writing practice, 3) teaching basic rules for using capital letters and punctuation. This research should be used as a basis for students' attention and knowledge in using capital letters and punctuation in Indonesian language learning.

This study discusses the comparison of the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) models in terms of the mathematics learning activities of fifth-grade students in Cluster III, Bontomarannu District. The study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in the mathematics learning activities of fifth-grade students using the Problem-Based Learning model compared to the Project-Based Learning model.This research is an experimental study using a counterbalanced design. The population in this study consists of all fifth-grade students in Cluster III, Bontomarannu District, while the selected sample includes students from SD Inpres Bonto-Bonto and SD Inpres Balangpapa, totaling 78 students, chosen using the cluster random sampling technique.The data collection technique in this study is observation to assess students' learning activities. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The research findings indicate that the significance value obtained for students' learning activities is 0.038 < 0.05, leading to the conclusion that there is a significant difference in the learning activities of students taught using the PBL model compared to those taught using the PjBL model.

This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental type. The sample was selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique, with class XI F1 as the Quiz Team class and XI F3 as the STAD class. Data collection used a multiple-choice test of 24 items and documentation. The results showed an average increase in both learning models, where Quiz Team increased by 61.14% and STAD by 61.67% between pre-test and post-test. Hypothesis testing on Quiz Team showed a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted, namely there is a difference in student learning outcomes before and after using the Quiz Team model. In the STAD model, the hypothesis test showed t count (18.867)> t table (2.037) with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted, namely there is a difference in learning outcomes before and after implementing the STAD model. However, when the two models were compared using an independent sample t-test, a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.36 > 0.05 was obtained, which indicated that there was no significant difference between the learning outcomes of students using the Quiz Team and STAD models.

This study was motivated by the low narrative writing skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 02 Talamau, caused by the dominance of lecture methods, lack of student engagement, and minimal teacher guidance. The aim of this study is to improve narrative writing skills through the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subjects consisted of teachers as observers and fourth-grade students as participants. The study was conducted in two cycles, each including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that implementing the TTW model had a positive impact on students' narrative writing skills. The lesson planning score increased from 87% (B) in the first cycle to 98% (SB) in the second cycle. Teacher and student activity also improved, from 91.06% (SB) to 96.42% (SB). The average writing skill score increased from 72.74 (C) to 88.83 (B), while knowledge scores rose from 75.86 (C) to 90.43 (SB). Thus, the TTW model has been proven effective in enhancing the narrative writing skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 02 Talamau.

This study aims to identify the problems of instilling moral education in adolescent children of Tanjungbalai fishermen in Beting Kuala Kapias Sub-district, Teluk Nibung District and how efforts to overcome these problems. The method used is a qualitative method with the type of field research or field research. Data collection is done by conducting observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. Based on the results of the study, the problems faced by parents are the lack of time parents have due to the busyness of parents going to sea, poor role modeling, the lack of role of community leaders, the less interesting activities of mosque youth so that it becomes the main factor that hinders the cultivation of moral education in fishermen adolescents.

This research aims to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning using the Problem Based Learning model in class V of SDN 18 Kampung Baru, Padang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was carried out in two cycles, cycle I had two meetings and cycle II had one meeting. The subjects of this research were teachers (researchers) and students totaling 21 students, 12 male students and 9 female students. The results of this research show an increase in: 1) The first cycle teaching module averaged 85.41% (Good) increasing in the second cycle to 95.83% (Very Good). 2) Implementation of teacher activities in cycle I averaged 83.93% (Good) increasing in cycle II to 92.85% (Very Good). 3) Assessment of students in improving learning outcomes in cycle I averaged 78.68% (Fair) increasing in cycle II 88.41% (Good).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Savi berbantuan media vlog terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis kuasi eksperimental dengan rancangan posttest-only non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X sosial di SMAN 4 Mataram yang disebarkan di 5 kelas yaitu kelas X sosial 1, X sosial 2, X sosial 3, X sosial 4, dan X sosial 5. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X sosial 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X sosial 5 sebagai kelas kontrol yang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling setelah melalui proses penyepadanan kelas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda yang telah memenuhi kriteria instrument. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan analisis tes parametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Savi berbantuan media vlog terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang dibuktikan dari niai rata-rata kelas eksperimen (84,59) lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol (75,39). Model savi sejalan dengan teori konstruktivistik karena keduanya menekankan keaktifan siswa, keterlibatan pengalaman langsung, serta pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan bermakna, dengan menerapkan model savi dalam pembelajaran, guru dapat membantu peserta didik membangun pemhaman dengan cara yang lebih efektif
