Abstract

This study aims to develop a principal leadership model based on GROW coaching assisted by SMART principles to improve teacher professionalism through the Teacher Working Group (KKG) in the Dewi Sartika Cluster, Pemalang Regency. Many teachers still face difficulties in innovative learning, technology adaptation, and implementation of the latest curriculum. In addition, principals also face challenges in developing transformative leadership and coaching skills. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a 4-D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the study indicate that the application of SMART-based GROW coaching can improve teacher professionalism, both in terms of competence, work motivation, and collaboration in KKG. This article provides theoretical and practical contributions in developing coaching-based educational leadership in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how to improve the understanding of mathematical material on weight measurement using the experiential learning model in grade III students at SD Muhammadiyah 04 Batu. This study uses qualitative and quantitative research types with a classroom action approach. The subjects of this study were 28 grade III D students of SD Muhammadiyah 04 Batu consisting of 16 female students and 12 male students. This study was conducted in March 2025 in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, interviews, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed that the process of implementing the Experiential Learning Model through 4 stages, namely: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization and active experiments made students more confident in expressing opinions based on the results of observations made, understanding of Mathematics material regarding weight measurement also increased through the application of the Experiential Learning learning model, as evidenced by an increase in the average class value from 70.00 to 75.00 in cycle I and 85.00 in cycle II. Before the experiment, only 10 out of 28 students achieved the minimum competency or 35.71% (less). In cycle I there was an increase of 15 students or with a percentage of 53.57% (sufficient) then to 21 students or 75% (good) in cycle II.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed the paradigm of public relations (PR), particularly within government institutions, through the implementation of Cyber Public Relations (Cyber PR). Official social media accounts now serve as a frontline tool for delivering information to the public in a fast, interactive, and transparent manner. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Cyber PR strategies by the Instagram account @badankesbangpol.kotatangerang in supporting the optimization of public information services. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, using digital observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Observations were conducted on the account’s posts and interactions over the past six months, while interviews involved account administrators and public followers. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model, involving data reduction, presentation, and conclu sion drawing. The findings reveal that the account has implemented Cyber PR elements through visual information delivery, consistent posting, and active interaction with followers. However, public participation remains largely passive (likes and views), with limited two-way substantive feedback. The communication strategy tends to be one-way, although the visual style and language align with digital media characteristics for government communication. It is concluded that the implementation of Cyber PR on the account contributes positively to public information transparency, though improvements in public engagement and participatory interaction are still needed. Developing dialogic content and encouraging citizen involvement are strategic steps moving forward.

Abstract

Education is one of the important sectors that must be considered by the government of developing countries such as Indonesia. The progress of education will not be separated from the role of teachers as the spearhead of education. However, teacher performance can be influenced by several factors, including the principal's leadership, the environment in which teachers work, and their work experience. In addition, the self-efficacy of teachers can also have an influence either directly or as a mediation of other factors. This study aims to examine the effect of leadership, work environment, and work experience on teacher performance with self-efficacy as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational design. The sample used in this study amounted to 292 respondents selected by purposive sampling technique from the population of public junior high school teachers in Temanggung Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires and processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the WarpPLS analysis tool. This study concluded that leadership, work environment, and self-efficacy directly affect teacher performance, while work experience does not directly affect teacher performance. Leadership, work environment, and work experience affect self-efficacy. As for the indirect effect, self-efficacy does not mediate the effect of leadership, work environment, and work experience.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the planning of digital technology-based learning systems in Indonesia. The method used is literature review. In this literature review research, books and national journals are used which have been summarized and analyzed. The results show that the role of technology-based learning systems in the digital era is crucial in the teaching and learning process. The utilization of technology aims to facilitate the understanding of material by students and turn abstract concepts into something more concrete. The use of teaching materials in the classroom has the potential to increase effectiveness, maximize results, and optimize the learning process. With the conclusion that the improvement of teachers in utilizing digital technology can have a considerable positive impact on learning.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of Visual Scaffolding Strategy on vocabulary mastery among fifth grade students at SDN 087981 Sibolga. Utilizing a pre-experimental design, the study involved 21 students who participated in six sessions, including a pre-test, four treatment sessions, and a post-test. The findings revealed a significant improvement in vocabulary scores, with the mean score increasing from 54.76 on the pre-test to 85.75 on the post-test, resulting in an increase of 30.99. Statistical analysis confirmed that the t-test value (32.1) exceeded the critical t-table value (8.40), indicating that Visual Scaffolding Strategy effectively improved vocabulary mastery in this educational context. Consequently, the null hypothesis was rejected, confirming the positive effect of the strategy on students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis materi perkalian siswa kelas 2 SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-group pre-test post-test. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 19 siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri 01 Wotan tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi Pre-test, Post-test, observasi,dan wawancara, dengan analissi data menggunakan Paired Samples T-Test dan N-Gain. penggunaan model PBL berbantuan MEDPEN terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada uji paired sample T-test memperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000<0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai kemampuan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model PBL berbantuan MEDPEN. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa yang signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar dalam 0,560 yang masuk dalam kategori sedang. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman matematika siswa. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menggunakan sampel lebih besar serta mengekplorasi strategi inovatif lainnya dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi siswa di wilayah tertinggal, terdepan, dan terluar (3T) masih tergolong rendah, yang disebabkan antara lain oleh keterbatasan bahan ajar yang relevan dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang kurang kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan instrumen penilaian bahan ajar literasi berbasis pendekatan Whole Language, khusus untuk siswa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur, Provinsi Maluku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek validasi terdiri dari ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa ahli media memberikan persentase kelayakan sebesar 83,70% (kategori “Layak”), ahli materi sebesar 91,49% (kategori “Sangat Layak”), dan ahli bahasa sebesar 91,8% (kategori “Sangat Layak”). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian bahan ajar yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria validitas dan layak untuk digunakan pada tahap pengembangan dan implementasi selanjutnya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi awal dalam peningkatan pembelajaran literasi yang kontekstual dan sesuai kebutuhan di wilayah 3T.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is that during the learning process the teacher is not very aware of the learning style of each of his students. Based on the results of observations in the classroom when learning is taking place, it was found that when the teacher explained a material, there were students in grade III who did not pay attention to the teacher's explanation. The purpose of this study was to find out about the learning styles of grade III students through illustrated story pictures at SD 1 Padurenan Kudus. Learning styles are very necessary so that the teaching and learning process can be carried out, because learning style attitudes will help them achieve their goals faster. This study uses a narrative qualitative research type. The subjects used by the researcher were 6 using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model which includes three stages: Data reduction, Data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study at SD 1 Padurenan Kudus showed that students' learning styles seen from illustrated story pictures with the category of visual learning styles showed that students tend to learn more easily when they see, the results of the pictures are neat and precise. Students in the auditory learning style category showed that students tend to listen very strongly, have strong storytelling skills, and do not like noise. Students in the kinesthetic learning style category showed that students tend to enjoy learning using body movements, or direct practice, like to try but are less neat. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that students' learning styles seen from the students' illustration story images are different. The learning styles carried out by students with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic categories are different. This research is expected to help teachers to apply various learning styles owned by each student. Therefore, teachers are strongly advised to always use visual media, such as picture stories in the learning process in order to adjust to the visual learning style, and must provide other learning methods that can facilitate auditory and kinesthetic learning styles.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the Big Book Game Running Story media as a learning tool that can increase reading interest in fifth grade elementary school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The research results show that this media is very valid according to the assessment of media experts (95%), valid by material experts (79%), and language experts (75%). The effectiveness test shows a significant increase between the pretest and posttest scores. The practicality of this media is also rated very high based on responses from teachers (90%) and students (85.8%). Thus, the Big Book Game Running Story is suitable for use as an Indonesian language learning medium to increase students' interest in reading.
