Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Guided Discovery Learning on the learning outcomes of students in fractions of Class III SDN 20 Tala-Tala, Bissappu District, Bantaeng Regency. The type of research used in this study is experimental research, especially Pre-experimental. The sample in this study was 25 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning outcome tests and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques in this study were descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential data analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of the Guided Discovery Learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class III students of SDN 20 Tala-Tala, Bissappu District, Bantaeng Regency, as shown by the results of the t-test analysis showing that the significance value obtained (Sig = 0.001) was smaller than the specified alpha value of 0.05 (0.001 <0.05), then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, meaning that there was an effect of the Guided Discovery Learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class III students of SDN 20 Tala-Tala, Bissappu District, Bantaeng Regency. In addition, the results of learning mathematics before the implementation of the Guided Discovery Learning model in the pretest with an average value of 60, there was an increase in the posttest with an average value of 80.4. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Guided Discovery Learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class III students of SDN 20 Tala-Tala, Bissappu District, Bantaeng Regency. Abstract

This study was motivated by the need to understand Montessori-based mentoring strategies in supporting the social-emotional development of students with special needs. This article aims to examine the mentoring of students with special needs in social-emotional development based on Montessori. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and was conducted at a Montessori elementary school in Yogyakarta from February to May 2025. Research data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were teachers and lower and upper grade students at a Montessori elementary school in Yogyakarta. The objects of this study were Montessori mentoring and the social-emotional development of students with special needs. Data validity was checked using triangulation. Data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman's qualitative analysis, which involves data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the social-emotional support strategies implemented are based on combining the principles of PDBK management with the Montessori Learning Pyramid structure. The application of the Montessori method has proven effective in developing the social-emotional skills of PDBK.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of visionary leadership and academic supervision on the professionalism of public elementary school teachers in Sako District, Palembang City. Teacher professionalism is strongly influenced by various internal and external factors, including school leadership and supervisory strategies. This research employed a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to public elementary school teachers.The results indicate that visionary leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism, as evidenced by increased commitment, creativity, and professional responsibility. Academic supervision also significantly influences the improvement of teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies. Simultaneously, the two variables contribute 67.2% to teacher professionalism. Keywords: Visionary Leadership, Academic Supervision, Teacher Professionalism. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner dan supervisi akademik terhadap profesionalisme guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Sako Kota Palembang. Profesionalisme guru sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal, termasuk kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan strategi supervisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket kepada guru SD Negeri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru, ditandai dengan meningkatnya komitmen, kreativitas, dan tanggung jawab profesional. Supervisi akademik juga terbukti memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut memberikan kontribusi sebesar 67,2% terhadap profesionalisme guru. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Visioner, Supervisi Akademik, Profesionalisme Guru.

Abstract

The research in the following research aims to determine the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Quizizz media on improving the learning outcomes of class VII-3 students in informatics subjects. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group design type was used in this study. The sample consisted of 32 class VII-3 students, divided into an experimental group (15 students) and a control group (15 students). Data were collected through learning outcome tests and observations, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results showed a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001, smaller than 0.05, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, indicating a significant effect of the PBL model assisted by Quizizz on student learning outcomes. This approach provides meaning to the urgency of increasing student involvement, learning motivation, and conceptual understanding through real-world problem solving and interactive evaluation.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the field of education, including mathematics learning. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Android-based learning media in improving students' mathematical communication skills and curiosity. The research was conducted in Class V A of SDN 027 Samarinda Ulu during the 2024/2025 academic year, using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires, then analyzed. The normality test results indicated that the data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed that the data were homogeneously distributed. The one-sample t-test and proportion test revealed that the average score of students' mathematical communication exceeded the minimum threshold of 70, and more than 75% of students reached this score, placing them in the “good” category. Meanwhile, the paired-sample t-test showed a significant increase in students’ curiosity after the learning intervention, and the one-sample t-test showed that the final curiosity scores exceeded the benchmark of 73.41. The use of Android-based learning media proved to be effective in developing mathematical communication skills and fostering students’ curiosity. These findings reinforce the importance of integrating technology into the learning process to create an active, meaningful, and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the token economy method inimproving learning motivation and discipline among 9th-grade students at SMPPGRI Jabung. The research employed a quantitative experimental approach witha one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of five randomlyselected students using a random sampling technique. The instruments usedincluded a learning motivation and discipline scale, daily observation sheets, tokencards, and student reflections. The intervention was conducted over seven daysthrough the implementation of a token economy system. The results showed thatfour out of five students experienced an increase in their posttest scores, whileone student showed a decline. The average pretest score was 50.2, whichincreased to 52.4 in the posttest, resulting in a mean difference of +2.2 points. Incomparison, the simulated control class experienced a decrease in the averagescore from 50.0 to 49.6. These findings indicate that the token economy methodhas a positive influence on enhancing students' learning enthusiasm anddiscipline, although individual responses to the method may vary. Therefore, tokeneconomy can be considered an alternative strategy for fostering more motivatedand disciplined learning behavior, particularly during the transitional phase ofadolescence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran GAULL (Game Edukasi Wordwall) bagi siswa yang valid, praktis dan efektif sehingga dapat diterapkan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang dikenal dengan istilah Research and Development (R&D), menggunakan salah satu model pengembangan yaitu model pengembangan ADDIE. Adapun prosedur pengembangan pada penelitian ini terdiri atas 5 tahap, yaitu (1)Analisis (Analysis), (2)Desain (Desain) (3)Pengembangan (Development) (4) Implementasi (Implementation) (5)Evaluasi (Evaluation). Uji kevalidan produk dilakukan oleh 5 validator yaitu 2 orang validator ahli media, 2 orang ahli materi dan 1 orang validator ahli pengguna. Uji coba kepraktisan dan keefektifan produk dilakukan pada 27 orang siswa kelas IV SD. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan lembar angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Kevalidan media berdasarkan penilaian ahli media 1, ahli media 2, ahli materi 1, ahli materi 2, dan ahli pengguna mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 4,49 dengan kriteria "sangat valid", dengan rincian ahli media 1 dengan nilai 4,80, ahli media 2 dengan nilai 3,97, ahli pengguna dengan nilai 4,58, ahli materi 1 dengan nilai 5, dan ahli materi 2 dengan nilai 4,14. (2) Kepraktisan media pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil analisis terlihat bahwa dari kelima validator rata-rata total jumlah nilai akhir adalah sebesar 90,4 dengan kategori "sangat valid", maka media pembelajaran secara teori dengan kategori "praktis" atau media dinyatakan dapat digunakan tanpa revisi. Kepraktisan media pembelajaran juga dilihat berdasarkan respon siswa secara praktik setelah menggunakan media mendapatkan rata-rata persentase sebesar 91,03% yang dinyatakan "praktis". (3) Keefektifan media pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil persentase rata-rata respon minat belajar siswa sebesar 4,47, maka respon siswa pada media pembelajaran GAULL (Game Edukasi Wordwall) dinyatakan "sangat baik" atau dinyatakan “efektif” meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran GAULL (Game Edukasi Wordwall) diatas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran mempunyai kualitas baik karena telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 067775 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students of SDN Duren Sawit 13 through the application of the Problem Posing learning model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model. Each cycle includes the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The results of the study showed that in cycle I, students' critical thinking skills that achieved a score of ≥70 were 72%, with teacher actions of 85% and student activities of 80%. After improvements in cycle II, there was a significant increase, namely 88% of students achieved a score of ≥70, while teacher actions and student activities reached 100%. This increase shows that the Problem Posing model is effective in developing students' critical thinking skills. This model encourages students to actively formulate questions, solve problems, and understand the material in depth. Thus, the Problem Posing model can be used as a relevant learning strategy in the Merdeka curriculum to improve the quality of science learning and critical thinking skills of elementary school students. This study recommends the application of this model more widely to create active, contextual, and meaningful learning.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya minat belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD IT An-Nafis Teluk Mengkudu. Selain itu, pada penyampaian pembelajaran belum menerapkan dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis IPTEK. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD IT An-Nafis Teluk Mengkudu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD IT An-Nafis Teluk Mengkudu berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik prosedur penelitian berbentuk siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanan tindakan (planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing), refleksi (reflecting). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode lembar observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh bahwa penerapan media game wordwall dapat meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD IT An-Nafis Teluk Mengkudu. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari siklus I diperoleh persentase sebesar 58% artinya setengahnya siswa berminat belajar matematika dengan menggunakan media game wordwall sedangkan siklus II diperoleh persentase sebesar 79% artinya hampir selurunya siswa memiliki minat belajar matematika dengan menggunakan media game wordwall.

Abstract

Amidst rapid social dynamics and the overwhelming flow of information, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces the challenge of shaping a young generation that is not only spiritually obedient but also socially pious. This article examines the importance of integrating PAI with social reality to develop individuals who are both religious and socially aware. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and a case study at Sabilul Muttaqin Mosque in Pecikalan Hamlet, Wangon, Banyumas, this research explores the implementation of social values in religious practices. The findings indicate that PAI integrated with values such as empathy, justice, solidarity, and responsibility can effectively strengthen students’ character in a contextual manner. Programs such as regular religious study sessions, free markets, free haircuts, and free health checks serve as effective media for grounding Islamic values in real life. The mosque functions not only as a place of worship but also as a center for empowerment and character education. Support from religious leaders, mosque youth, and the local community has transformed the mosque into a synergistic space where religious texts meet social context. These findings reinforce that social piety can only grow when PAI is participatory, applicable, and relevant to the needs of the community. This kind of integration offers a strategic solution to protect the younger generation from moral decline while strengthening education's role as an agent of social transformation.
