Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penurunan motivasi siswa untuk menempuh pendidikan terutama di Sekolah Dasar yang terganggu oleh permasalahan ekonomi keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari stres ekonomi keluarga terhadap tingkat motivasi belajar siswa di SD Negeri 08 Biau, Kabupaten Buol. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Ex Post facto. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada orang tua/wali siswa kelas 4, 5, dan 6 menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan uji Spearman’s Rank, diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar -0,363 dengan sig sebesar 0,002 < 0,05 artinya terdapat hubungan yang negatif. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji Kruskal-Wallis untuk melihat perbedaan tingkat motivasi belajar dilihat dari tingkat stres ekonomi keluarga, adapun hasil ujinya didapatkan nilai sig (p) sebesar 0,001 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan dalam tingkat motivasi belajar siswa. Untuk kelompok yang berbeda secara signifikan dilanjutkan dengan uji Games-Howell Post Hoc Comparisons, didapatkan dari nilai signifikan kelompok stres berat-ringan sebesar <0,001 terdapat perbedaan, selanjutnya kelompok stres berat-sedang sebesar 0,079 tidak terdapat perbedaan, kemudian kelompok stres ringan-sedang sebesar <0,001 terdapat perbedaan. Dialnjutkan dengan analisis regresi logistik ordinal didapatkan nilai sig 0,001<0,05 artinya terdapat pengaruh dengan koefisien regresi (estimate) -17,0 dan -18,0 yang berarti semakin berat tingkat stres ekonomi maka peluang siswa memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi sangat kecil. Dalam penelitian ini, stres ekonomi keluarga memiliki kontribusi sebesar 13,9% terhadap perbedaan tingkat motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of school climate and school culture on verbal violence committed by students at school. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, and data collection techniques in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire, with a saturated sample technique. The results of this study indicate that school culture has a significant influence on verbal violence committed by students, while school climate does not provide a significant influence partially. This is evidenced by the t test which shows a significance value of the school culture variable of 0.002 with a calculated t value of 3.337, greater than the t table of 2.045. On the other hand, the school climate variable has a significance value of 0.125 with a calculated t value of 1.580, which means it is smaller than the t table and is not significant. However, based on the F test, the results show that simultaneously school climate and school culture have a significant influence on verbal violence committed by students. The results of the F test show a calculated F value of 13.034 and a significance of 0.000, less than 0.05. Based on the research findings, only school culture has been proven to directly influence verbal violence committed by students at school. However, when examined simultaneously, both school climate and culture have made significant contributions to this behavior.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has transformed various aspects of human life, including Islamic education. At the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) level, the subject of Islamic Cultural History (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam/SKI) plays a vital role in shaping students’ character through historical Islamic values. However, SKI learning often faces challenges due to its monotonous delivery and limited relevance to modern contexts. This study aims to explore the integration of technology in SKI learning as a strategic approach to creating inclusive and meaningful Islamic education. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the research analyzes forms, benefits, and challenges of digitalization in SKI instruction. Findings show that utilizing digital media—such as interactive videos, e-learning platforms, educational games, podcasts, and virtual simulations—significantly enhances student motivation, historical comprehension, and access to learning. Moreover, digital integration fosters inclusivity by accommodating students with diverse abilities, learning styles, and geographic conditions. Despite these advantages, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, low digital literacy, lack of contextual content, and resistance to change still hinder optimal implementation. The study concludes that a collaborative effort between educators, policymakers, and technology developers is essential to establish a sustainable digital Islamic education ecosystem. When applied effectively, technology-supported SKI learning can cultivate historically aware, tolerant, and digitally literate Muslim students prepared to face contemporary societal challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' creativity in the implementation of the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students Project (P5) through batik jumputan-making activities at SD Negeri 2 Sungai Belida. Creativity is a key aspect in developing students' character and competence in the Merdeka Curriculum. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research subjects were fourth-grade students who participated in the P5 activity, as well as the teacher who guided the project. The results showed that the P5 activity involving batik jumputan effectively encouraged and enhanced students' creativity. This was evident from their ability to think creatively, work collaboratively, express their talents, and use imagination in creating unique batik patterns. Students showed high enthusiasm, the courage to try new ideas, and the ability to cooperate well in teams. In addition to producing aesthetically valuable works, the activity also fostered Pancasila values such as independence, teamwork, and creativity. Therefore, the implementation of P5 activities based on local wisdom, such as batik jumputan, can serve as an effective learning method to explore and develop students’ creative potential holistically.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD). Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran strategis kepala sekolah dalam manajemen pendidikan serta tantangan dan strategi yang diterapkan dalam konteks kepemimpinan pada saat ini. Melalui telaah literatur dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah terbaru tahun 2023–2024, ditemukan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin instruksional, manajer administratif, pembina sumber daya manusia, dan pemimpin visioner. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan anggaran, rendahnya partisipasi orang tua, disparitas kualitas guru, perubahan kurikulum, dan keterbatasan teknologi. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, kepala sekolah perlu menerapkan strategi seperti perencanaan berbasis data, peningkatan kompetensi guru, penguatan budaya sekolah, kolaborasi dengan stakeholder, dan pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan. Hasil kajian ini menekankan pentingnya kepemimpinan yang adaptif, kolaboratif, dan visioner dalam mewujudkan pendidikan dasar yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study examines the existence of the mancak tradition in wedding ceremonies on Sepanjang Island, Sapeken District. Mancak , a traditional martial art, holds a significant place in local customs and is considered essential during wedding rituals. It is believed that performing mancak during a wedding brings blessings and good fortune to the newlyweds. The purpose of this research is to explore the cultural values embedded in the mancak tradition, its role in education and cultural identity, and the factors contributing to its preservation among the younger generation. Using a descriptive and ethnographic approach, data were collected through direct interviews and field observations. The findings reveal that despite modern influences, the mancak tradition continues to thrive due to the strong belief system of the community and its transmission through generations. The tradition serves not only as a form of entertainment but also as a medium for instilling cultural pride and historical awareness. Local communities actively preserve mancak by integrating it into wedding ceremonies and encouraging youth participation through informal education and community-based cultural programs.

Abstract

The low level of students' poetry comprehension may be attributed to the limited use of engaging learning media. This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on gamification incorporating local wisdom to improve students' ability to understand poetry. The research employed a Research and Development (RnD) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The study involved fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Ngaliyan 05 Semarang as the research subjects. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, documentation, written tests, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using normality tests, T-tests, and N-gain tests. The findings showed that the interactive learning media based on gamification and infused with local wisdom were rated as "very feasible" based on expert validation, scoring 91% from media experts and 92% from content experts. The results of the T-test indicated a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Teacher and student response questionnaires scored 95% and 96%, respectively, both categorized as "very feasible." The N-gain analysis showed a “moderate” category (0.68) in the small-scale trial and a “high” category (0.70) in the large-scale trial. These results indicate that gamification-based interactive media incorporating local wisdom are effective and highly feasible for improving the poetry comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Ngaliyan 05 Semarang.

Abstract

Critical reasoning in elementary school students in the era of fast and easily accessible information requires the ability to sort, identify, analyze, and make the right decisions. This fact requires a reading corner literacy program as an effort to foster critical reasoning characters. This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of the implementation of the reading corner program in fostering critical reasoning characters at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gempol. The subjects of this study were 25 students. The research approach used qualitative with a phenomenological research type. Data collection used in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study used interactive analysis techniques of the Miles and Huberman model with three interrelated and simultaneous activities until this study was completed, namely data coding, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing used triangulation of sources and methods. The findings of this study indicate that the reading corner literacy program in the corner of each class provides a variety of interesting and easily accessible reading materials as a means to bring books closer to students, foster a diligent attitude in learning, and interest in reading and foster critical reasoning characters through reading activities. The literacy corner program is felt by students to be able to grow critical reasoning characters with three indications. First, students' habit of reading in the reading corner in every corner of the classroom and being able to draw conclusions based on existing evidence. Second, being able to identify problems when explaining the material being read. Third, being able to analyze cause-and-effect relationships that show logical and analytical thinking as a strong foundation for critical reasoning characters.

Abstract

Pentingnya penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru Agama Katolik dalam menerapkan pembelajaran diferensisasi di Sekolah Menengah Atas dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berdasarkan auditory, visual, dan kinestetik sehingga menghasilkan peserta didik yang memahami agama katolik. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengetahui strategi guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran diferensisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi ditambah dengan sumber-sumber relevan buku, artikel jurnal dan karya ilmiah terkait. Proses penelitian dimulai dengan observasi yaitu turun ke lapangan pelaksanaan penelitian untuk memperoleh gambaran terkait dengan pembelajaran diferensiasi. Wawancara dilakukan untuk menguatkan temuan observasi untuk mendukung kelengkapan data. Dokumentasi yakni mengumpulkan dokumen pendukung terkait dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran diferensiasi mulai dari modul ajar dan materi pembelajaran. Tempat penelitian ini adalah Sekolah Menengah Atas Katolik Santo Yoseph Medan. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran, rekan guru, dan peserta didik. Temuan penelitian ini adalah guru pendidikan agama katolik telah menerapkan pembelajaran diferensiasi melalui diferensiasi konten, diferensiasi proses, dan diferensiasi produk. Dalam diferensiasi konten guru menyiapkan materi sesuai dengan gaya belajar peserta didik. Dalam diferensiasi proses guru melaksanakan pembelajaran seesuai dengan gaya belajar yang telah diperoleh. Dalam diferensiasi produk guru menemukan hasil belajar melalui evaluasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi pagi dalam membentuk karakter nasionalisme siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Buntar serta mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi pagi dalam membentuk karakter nasionalisme siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, merupakan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Data penelitian ini berupa kata, kalimat, paragraf yang berisi pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi pagi dalam membentuk karakter nasionalisme siswa serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Data penelitian ini berupa data dari kegiatan observasi sekolah, wawancara dengan guru dan dokumentasi lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif berupa kegiatan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian berupa pihak sekolah memberikan nasihat serta kegiatan keagamaan sebagai pembentuk karakter religius, yang mana karakter religius menjadi modal utama dan menjadi pondasi untuk membentuk karakter nasionalisme pada diri siswa. Terdapat kolaborasi pihak sekolah dengan pihak luar guna mendukung kelancaran kegiatan literasi pagi. Adanya antusias siswa dalam mengikuti literasi pagi. Strategi dan metode guru yang mampu dipahami siswa dalam pelaksanaan literasi pagi. Kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua hingga masyarakat yang saling berkolaborasi menjadi faktor pendukung, rendahnya minat baca siswa menjadi faktor penghambat.
