Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model assisted by concrete media on the mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SD Negeri 89 Palembang. The background of the study is based on the low achievement in mathematics due to the continued use of conventional teaching methods and the lack of learning media that align with the cognitive development stage of elementary students. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, an experimental class and a control class, totaling 27 students. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the average score of students in the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. Data analysis using an independent sample t-test indicated a significance value of 0.032, meaning that there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups. These findings suggest that the RME model assisted by concrete media significantly improves students' mathematics learning outcomes. This model not only increases student engagement and motivation but also helps students better understand mathematical concepts through real-life and contextual experiences. Therefore, the RME model with the support of concrete media is recommended as an effective alternative strategy for enhancing mathematics instruction in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model assisted by Mission Fruits media on elementary school students' conceptual understanding. The issue addressed is the low level of students' conceptual understanding during the learning process. This research uses a quantitative approach, with the population consisting of all students at SDN Susukan 01, and the sample includes students from classes IIIA and IIIB at SDN Susukan 01. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, regression tests, and paired sample t-tests. The results of the study show: (1) There is a significant difference between the experimental class, which used the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model assisted by Mission Fruits media, and the control class, which used the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model without the media. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05 based on the independent t-test. (2) The Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model assisted by Mission Fruits media significantly influences students' conceptual understanding, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 based on the regression test. (3) The Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model assisted by Mission Fruits media is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding. This is shown by the comparison between the post-test and pre-test results in the experimental class, which indicates that students' conceptual understanding in the post-test is higher than in the pre-test. The significance value obtained in the paired sample test is 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model assisted by Mission Fruits media is effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the discovery learning model integrated with tu'dang sipulung culture on the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of UPT SD Inpres Sarite'ne, Gowa Regency. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental research type. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of UPT SD Inpres Sarite'ne, Gowa Regency, totaling 50 students. The sample in this study was 50 students, consisting of 25 classes IVA as the experimental class and 25 classes IVB as the control class. The instruments in this study were observation sheets and tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study and data analysis, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the discovery learning model integrated with tu'dang sipulung culture on the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students at UPT SD Inpres Sarite'ne, Gowa Regency. This is confirmed by the results of the independent sample t-test, which obtained a calculated t value of 3.338 and a t table of 2.010, so the calculated t> t table = 3.338> 2.010 or a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.002, so 0.002 <0.05 was obtained. In addition, the learning outcomes of students in the experimental group using the tu'dang sipulung culture integrated discovery learning model increased where in the pretest there were 5 students with a percentage of 20% who achieved a passing grade, while in the posttest there were 25 students with a percentage of 100% of students achieving a passing grade. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the tu'dang sipulung culture integrated discovery learning model on the learning outcomes of class IV students of UPT SD Inpres Sarite'ne, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan dan pengaruh media pembelajaran papan kartu misteri terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa kelas V MI Miftahul Ulum Pandanarum. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif Quasi Eksperimen. Dengan sampel penelitian kelas V yang berjumlah 29 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 26 siswa kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran papan kartu misteri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa, dibuktikan dengan hasil uji rata-rata pada data postest kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,17 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 69,08 maka rata-rata skor siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada di kelas kontrol. Begitupula dengan uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0.001 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan membaca siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This Research and Development aims to develop LKPD teaching materials and to know the effectiveness of LKPD based Jigsaw. This research method is a research and development by Borg & Gall. The population in this study were students in Elementary School Margototo Kecamatan Metro Kibang as many as 145 students and 4th grade research sample Elementary School 1 Margototo as many as 40 students. Instruments used are tests and non-tests to measure learners' learning outcomes in terms of cognitive aspects. The final product of this research is LKPD which has been validated by material experts, media experts and classroom teachers. The results showed that LKPD was developed based on the needs analysis of learners and can be used in the National Curriculum, LKPD interesting and easy to use seen from the student's response, and LKPD effective for improving learners' learning outcomes before using and after using LKPD.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' statements that mathematics is a difficult subject and the lack of enthusiasm of students in participating in the learning process. Based on these problems, this classroom action research aims to apply the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) model assisted by geoboard media to improve students' critical thinking and collaboration skills in mathematics subjects for grade IV students of SDN 2 Pringgacala. The subjects of the research were grade IV students of SDN 2 Pringgacala in the 2024/2025 school year with a total of 37 students. This research was conducted in 3 cycles consisting of 4 stages in each cycle, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation and testing. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets and test questions. The results of this study indicate that the results of the application of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) model in cycle I obtained an average score of 3.7 then in cycle II it increased to 3.8 and in cycle III it increased again to 3.9. The improvement of students' critical thinking skills can be seen in cycle I obtaining an average score of 76 then in cycle II it increased to 83 and in cycle III it increased again to 86. The improvement of students' collaboration skills can be seen in cycle I obtaining an average score of 3.28 then in cycle II it increased to 3.45 and in cycle III it increased again to 3.6. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) model assisted by geoboard media can improve students' critical thinking and collaboration skills

Abstract

Penggunaan bahasa dalam dunia digital termasuk juga dalam permainan online, mengalami pergeseran seiring dengan tingginya intensitas interaksi antar pemain. Salah satu fenomena yang muncul adalah meningkatnya ketidaksantunan berbahasa di kalangan peserta didik sekolah dasar terutama pada peserta didik pemain aktif game online dalam berkomunikasi saat bermain game online seperti Mobile Legend. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk ketidaksantunan berbahasa yang digunakan oleh peserta didik sekolah dasar saat bermain game tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap peserta didik yang aktif bermain game Mobile Legend. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik penggunaan strategi ketidaksantunan berbahasa yang umumnya digunakan antaranya yaitu ketidaksantunan secara langsung (bald on record impoliteness), ketidaksantunan negatif (negative impoliteness), dan ketidaksantunan positif (positive impoliteness). Strategi ini diwujudkan melalui penggunaan kata-kata kasar, umpatan atau makian menggunakan nama hewan, ejekan, serta ungkapan yang merendahkan atau menakut-nakuti lawan bermain.

Abstract

This research describe the use of the flipped classroom method in English learning. The aims of this study was to see how to improve students' speaking skills through the flipped classroom model using recount text as a treatment tool. This study was conducted at SMAN 12 Gowa with the subject of the research being the students of class X MIPA 1 which consist of 27 students. This research design used a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The results of this research indicate that, there is a comparison of the pre-test and post-test results which show that students' speaking ability before using the flipped classroom method is still lacking, while at the post-test stage students' speaking ability has increased significantly.. It can be proven from the results of the mean values ​​of grammar, fluency, and vocabulary, the mean speaking value can be obtained. The mean speaking value before the test was around 31.20, while the mean value after the test was 78.40, with the test results after the test increasing. Based on these data, it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by implementing flipped classes on speaking skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which the financial compensation (honorarium) received by teachers at Sunan Ampel Punggur High School affects their performance and loyalty. The issue of teacher honorariums, often perceived as low, is a major concern, given their potential impact on work motivation and professional dedication. This study will employ a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving all teachers at Sunan Ampel Punggur High School as respondents. Data will be collected through a questionnaire designed to measure teachers' perceptions of the adequacy of their honorariums, their level of performance, and their level of loyalty to the institution. Data analysis will use regression techniques to test the causal relationship between financial compensation, performance, and loyalty. The results of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the implications of financial compensation on important aspects of human resource management in educational settings. These findings are also expected to provide input for school management and relevant policymakers in formulating strategies to improve teacher welfare to support the achievement of optimal educational goals.

Rahmat Kurnia, 2025. The Effectiveness of Mobile Learning Blooket on Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Students at SMPN 4 Bissappu, Bantaeng Regency. Thesis, Educational Technology Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervisor I Mr. Kasman and Supervisor II Mr. Wahyuddin. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of mobile learning blooket on Indonesian language subjects in class VIII of SMPN 4 Bissappu. This type of research is quantitative or experimental research (true experimental) using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, The population in this study were all students of SMPN 4 Bissappu consisting of 3 classes, a total of 78 people. The sample in this study were two classes from 3 existing population classes. One class as an experiment and one class as a control class. The two classes are: classes VII and VIII, where VIII is the experimental class and class VII is the control class, selected through Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, testing, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that mobile learning blooket in Indonesian language subjects is effectively used in class VIII of SMPN 4 Bisappu. The calculation results show a value of t count = 10,037 and a value of t table = 1,720. based on the testing criteria if t count ≥ t table then HO is rejected and Hi is accepted. With the calculation results t count ≥ t table or 10. 037 ≥ 1,720 thus Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted. This proves that the use of mobile learning blooket in class VIII of SMPN 4 Bisappu is effective in the learning process. Compared to using conventional learning models.
