Abstract

This research investigates the enhancing students’ writing skill through story completion tasks strategy of nineth grade students at SMPN 1 Campalagian. This research used quantitative research with Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The research used random sampling technique and chose the IX A class of SMPN 1 Campalagian consisted of 30 students. Data was collected through diagnostic test and writing test conducted before and after treatment using story completion tasks strategy. The results demonstrate a significant upward trend in students' writing development. An improvement of 10.93% was observed from the D Test to Cycle I, followed by a substantial increase of 40.5% from Cycle I to Cycle II. Overall, the total enhancement from the D Test to Cycle II reached 55.90%. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the implemented actions, particularly the application of story completion tasks as a teaching strategy. The notable improvement in Cycle II indicates that interactive and context-based instructional methods can substantially improve students’ writing skill.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems encountered in teaching and learning activities (KBM), most students are less enthusiastic in following the ongoing Geography teaching and learning process, especially if the teacher only uses conventional methods such as lecture methods when delivering a material and placing students as passive objects. Most students also consider Geography to be a boring subject because it requires a lot of memorization. Students look bored and do not focus on the material being taught, The type of research used is quantitative descriptive type (quasi experiment). The population in this study was all phase E at SMAN 9 Bungo Regency registered in the 2024-2025 academic year consisting of 3 phases with a total of 96 students. And the sample in this study was class E1 and E2, Based on the research data, there is a level of learning motivation of students in the experimental class of 78.3 with motivated criteria and 44.8% of the control class with fairly motivated criteria. The results of the hypothesis test of this study using the results of the t-test with a significant value of 0.015 <0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, so that the data can be concluded that there is an influence of interactive media based on augmented reality in increasing the motivation to learn geography phase E at SMAN 9 Bungo Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of local wisdom and economic dynamics in the historical area of Al-Zaytun from the perspective of da'wah (Islamic propagation) and education. This area not only holds historical value but also serves as a center for religious, social, and economic activities based on local values. The research method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings of the study indicate that: 1) Local Wisdom as a Socio-Cultural Foundation: The historical area of Al-Zaytun possesses strong elements of local wisdom, such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), tolerance, and appreciation for spiritual and traditional values. These values shape the community into one that is ethical and religious in character. 2) The Role of Economy in Da'wah and Education: Economic activities flourishing around Al-Zaytun ranging from agriculture to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as well as services contribute significantly to local economic development. These activities also serve as a medium for da'wah bil hal (preaching through actions) and support the self-reliance of Islamic educational institutions. 3) Integration of Da'wah, Education, and Economy: Al-Zaytun is not only a center of religious education but also a hub for economic and social empowerment. This model demonstrates the synergy between da'wah, education, and a local wisdom-based economy, which can serve as a development model for other Islamic historical regions in Indonesia. 4) Dynamics and Challenges: Despite its development, the area faces challenges such as negative stereotypes, limited market access, and dependence on central figures. These issues call for stronger governance and a more inclusive approach. Keywords: Local Wisdom, Economic Dynamics, Al-Zaytun, Da'wah, Educatio.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the learning outcomes of IPAS 5th grade students at SDN Jiwan 02 have decreased. To improve student learning achievement in learning to obtain satisfactory results, it is necessary to use media and teaching models that are in accordance with the conditions of students in the classroom. The focus of the purpose of this research is to assess the effect of utilizing flora and fauna distribution map media on students' IPAS learning achievement. The researcher used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The subjects in this study were grade 5 students of SDN Jiwan 02 with a total of 11 people in the 2025/2026 school year. The data collection techniques applied included interviews, observations, pre-tests and post-tests. The findings of this study show; (1) Efforts to improve the learning outcomes of 5th grade students of SDN Jiwan 02 by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model and media map of the distribution of flora and fauna through the stages of planning, implementation, action, observation, and reflection; (2) the use of media map of the distribution of flora and fauna in the learning process can create an effective learning atmosphere and the results achieved so that student learning achievement at SDN Jiwan 02 has increased.

Abstract

Kondisi literasi di SDN Teluk Pucung VI Kota Bekasi masih perlu ditingkatkan. Beberapa kondisi literasi yang terjadi saat ini yaitu (1) minat membaca rendah, banyak siswa yang hanya membaca saat ada tugas sekolah, bukan suatu kebiasaan, padahal sekolah memiliki perpustakaan dengan koleksi buku yang cukup banyak mulai dari buku pelajaran, sampai buku cerita fiksi maupun non fiksi. (2) pemahaman baca minim, siswa sering hanya membaca teks tanpa memahami isi atau makna bacaaan (3) peran guru dalam literasi, tidak semua guru memahami metode pembelajaran literasi yang menarik, sehingga pembelajaran seringkali hanya berfokus pada aspek teknis membaca.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian juga sebagai alat yang dipergunakan untuk mengumpulkan, memeriksa, menyelidiki suatu masalah yang sedang diteliti agar menjadi jelas dan bermakna (Astuti, 2015).Hasil penelitian yang dibahas oleh peneliti berupa 1) Analisis kemampuan membaca permulaan kelas II di SDN Teluk Pucung VI Kota Bekasi. 2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan membaca permulaan kelas II di SDN Teluk Pucung VI Kota Bekasi. 3) Upaya guru dalam membaca permulaan siswa kelas II di SDN Teluk Pucung VI Kota Bekasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal berperan penting dalam kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Faktor-faktor internal meliputi kondisi fisiologis, intelektual, dan psikologis siswa. Kesehatan fisik, termasuk alat bicara, penglihatan, dan pendengaran, sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan membaca.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a project-based instructional media in the form of illustrated images that focus on strengthening students' positive character within art education. The background of this study stems from the importance of character education emphasized in the Merdeka Curriculum and the continued lack of positive behaviors observed among students in schools. Weak character traits, such as lack of responsibility, poor collaboration, and low discipline, have been frequently observed among high school students, indicating a gap between curriculum intent and classroom reality. The research employed a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) with both qualitative and quantitative approaches to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the media's development and impact. The subjects were 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Tegal, selected purposively based on preliminary needs analysis. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out descriptively to present both numeric trends and narrative insight. The results indicate that the illustrated media developed was deemed feasible and effective in supporting art learning and in reinforcing values such as responsibility, cooperation, and discipline. Moreover, the project-based structure of the media enabled students to engage more actively, work collaboratively, and internalize character values through experiential learning. These findings suggest the need for the integration of project-based visual media into teaching strategies to holistically nurture students' character development in various subjects, especially those in the creative and expressive domains.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of women in Islamic education from historical and contemporary perspectives, as well as the challenges they face in accessing education. The main focus of the research is to describe women's contributions to Islamic education, identify barriers limiting their participation, and formulate strategies to strengthen gender-responsive Islamic education. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as literature review, in-depth interviews, and field observations. Data were analyzed thematically with source triangulation to ensure the validity of the results. The findings indicate that Islam provides an egalitarian foundation for women in education, as reflected in the Qur’an and Hadith. However, social practices influenced by patriarchal culture often restrict women’s access to education. In the modern era, women have begun to play significant roles as educators, writers, and activists, yet they still face challenges such as conservative textual interpretations, technological access disparities, and limited representation in formal institutions. Strategies for empowerment include integrating gender perspectives into curricula, enhancing the capacity of female religious leaders, and leveraging digital technology.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are essential in shaping students' ability to comprehend. However, observations in Grade III at SDN Gulun indicate that Indonesian language learning outcomes are still low. This condition is worsened by the use of conventional teaching methods assisted by PPT media, which involve students less actively. Learning outcomes are a factor that influences students’ understanding of the material. Therefore, more engaging methods and media are needed, such as the storytelling method assisted by interactive multimedia. This research uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were third-grade students of SDN Gulun 3, Maospati District, Magetan Regency, using a saturated sampling technique (total sampling). In the first session, students were treated with a conventional method using PPT media, while in the second session, they received treatment using the storytelling method assisted by interactive multimedia. Data collection techniques involved pre-tests and post-tests. The data were analyzed through validity and reliability tests, difficulty level analysis, discrimination index, prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), and hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. The results show that the storytelling method assisted by interactive multimedia has a significant effect on students’ Indonesian language learning outcomes, as indicated by the independent sample t-test result with a significance value of < 0.05. Thus, the storytelling method assisted by interactive multimedia is proven to be effective in improving learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject.

Abstract

Keterampilan membaca permulaan merupakan fondasi utama dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas awal di sekolah dasar. Namun, masih banyak siswa kelas 1 yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca, seperti tidak mengenali huruf, kesulitan merangkai kata, dan tidak memahami arti kata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 di SDN Bahagia 03, Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan berbagai strategi seperti bimbingan belajar individual, memberikan motivasi, menggunakan metode alfabet, ejaan, huruf-kata, dan dikte, serta menjalin komunikasi dengan orang tua. Strategi-strategi ini terbukti membantu meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa secara bertahap. Dengan demikian, pemilihan strategi yang tepat oleh guru memainkan peran penting dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca awal dan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di kelas-kelas bawah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to improve third grade students understanding of cultural diversity in social studies at Cawang 04 primary school by using a teaching method called Case Based Learning combined with role playing. Often, learning about cultural diversity can be boring and focus too much on memorizing facts. This makes it hard for students to truly grasp and appreciate different cultures. By using Case Based Learning, students get to analyze and solve real life problems related to cultural diversity. At the same time, role playing gives them hands on and fun experiences. The hope is that by combining these two methods, learning will be more meaningful. It should also encourage students to actively discuss and significantly boost their understanding of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage
