Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model assisted by Magic Straw media on the mathematical creative thinking ability of fifth grade students at SDN Sindangsari 04, Bekasi Regency. The research method used was a quantitative study with a Quasi-Experimental Design using two classes, namely class VA as the experimental class and class VB as the control class. The research sample consisted of 24 students in each class with equal backgrounds and levels of ability. The t-test (Independent Sample t-test) was used to test the effect of the Creative Problem Solving learning model assisted by Magic Straw media on students’ mathematical creative thinking ability. The results showed that the significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) was 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there was a significant difference between the two classes. The N-Gain value in the experimental class was 0.68 (medium category), while in the control class it was 0.42 (lower medium category). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Creative Problem Solving learning model assisted by Magic Straw media on the mathematical creative thinking ability of fifth grade students at SDN Sindangsari 04, Bekasi Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the implementation of the HOTS-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model and its impact on the collaborative skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Laweyan Surakarta. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Laweyan Surakarta. The subjects of this study were 28 fifth-grade students, the fifth-grade teacher, and the principal of SD Negeri Laweyan Surakarta. This study employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection utilized source triangulation and technique triangulation. The data were analyzed using a cyclical model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. Based on the data analysis, the study concludes the following: (1) The HOTS-based PjBL model effectively enhances students’ collaborative abilities by actively involving them in problem formulation, solution design, and completing projects together in groups; (2) The HOTS-based PjBL model effectively develops students’ critical thinking skills through project-based learning activities that emphasize analysis, evaluation, and creation; and (3) The HOTS-based PjBL model significantly improves students’ communication skills through project-based learning activities that require in-depth analysis, group discussions, and presentations of their work.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of origami paper folding activities on the development of children's fine motor skills at KB Nurul Islam Sukokerto Jember. The problem to be studied is how origami paper folding activities can affect children's fine motor skills? The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of origami paper folding activities on the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Group A KB Nurul Islam Sukokerto. The method used is a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design and using a paired sample T-test and an N-Gain Score effectiveness test, this study analyzed data obtained from the pre-test and post-test of children's fine motor skills before and after participating in origami paper folding activities. Based on the results of research conducted at KB Nurul Islam Sukokerto Jember, origami paper folding activities have a significant effect on the development of fine motor skills in children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

The movie "Barakati" belongs to the historical and adventure genres, seamlessly blending cultural elements from Buton Island and Yogyakarta. It narrates the journey of a young archaeologist, a foreign journalist, a native Butonese woman, and a descendant of the Majapahit kingdom. The research employed a qualitative methodology, known for its descriptive and analytical nature. The study involved scrutinizing the film's plot, followed by an analysis of the cultural values embedded in "Barakati." This analysis aimed to uncover the enduring cultural traits in the Buton Island and Yogyakarta regions. Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotic Analysis was the chosen method for dissecting the cultural values depicted in the film. Peirce categorized signs into three types: icons, indices, and symbols. The research findings revealed the cultural values present in the movie, showcasing historical artifacts that have persevered through time. These artifacts hold unique meanings and characteristics based on their functions. It emphasizes the importance of preserving sacred objects tied to cultural values, as they serve as crucial markers and identifiers of a nation's cultural identity.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi awal, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 12 Sarae menunjukkan perkembangan dari segi fasilitas dan tenaga pendidik. Namun, motivasi belajar siswa masih tergolong rendah. Partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran tampak minim, dan hasil wawancara dengan wali kelas mengungkapkan bahwa siswa kurang fokus, tidak tertarik pada materi, bersikap acuh tak acuh, dan menunjukkan kesiapan belajar yang rendah. Kondisi ini mendorong guru untuk mencari pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis minat terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Model ini dianggap mampu menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan, minat, dan gaya belajar siswa, serta memberikan ruang belajar yang lebih efisien dan alami. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif statistik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 16.0. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui angket dan hasil nilai ujian siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis minat tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,43 dengan nilai t hitung sebesar -1,235 yang lebih kecil dari t tabel sebesar 1,734. Nilai koefisien regresi variabel X sebesar -0,43 menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan variabel X justru berkorelasi negatif terhadap Y. Adapun kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 43%, sementara 57% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar variabel penelitian.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effect of using Pa Pi (Smart Board) learning media on the learning interests of first grade elementary school students in mathematics subjects. The background of this research stems from the low interest in learning mathematics among elementary school students, which is caused by monotonous and less interactive teaching methods. Pa Pi media was developed to present addition material in a concrete and enjoyable way by utilizing unused materials such as wooden boards, cans, sticks, and straws. This research used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest model. The research subjects consisted of 24 first-grade students at UPT SDN 106 Gresik. The sample used was a saturated sample, as the entire population was included. The instrument used was a student learning interest questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. The average pretest score was 25.38, which increased to 29.63 on the posttest, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the use of Pa Pi learning media has a significant effect on increasing students' learning interest. Therefore, Pa Pi media can serve as an innovative and effective alternative learning tool to enhance elementary school students’ interest in learning, particularly in mathematics.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interest in learning and the low ability of students to understand reading, especially 3rd grade students when studying Theme 6 "Energy and Its Changes" Subtheme 1 "Energy Sources". The Indonesian Language KKTP score for 3rd grade is 70, but in reality not many students can achieve that score. This indicates that learning outcomes have not been in accordance with the expectations and developments that should be achieved by 3rd grade students at SD Negeri 2 Karangasem. From the results of observations and interviews, several problems were found in learning activities, such as less interesting, monotonous learning, and students who lack enthusiasm when participating in lessons. In addition, the teaching methods used have not been able to arouse students' enthusiasm and creativity. To overcome this problem, one way that can be done is to use fun learning techniques, such as game-based scramble techniques. This study aims (1) to determine the planning of scramble techniques in improving the reading comprehension skills of grade 3 students of SD Negeri 2 Karangasem, Plumbon District, Cirebon Regency, (2) to determine the implementation of scramble techniques in improving the reading comprehension skills of grade 3 students of SD Negeri 2 Karangasem, Plumbon District, Cirebon Regency, and (3) to determine the increase in the reading comprehension skills of grade 3 students of SD Negeri 2 Karangasem, Plumbon District, Cirebon Regency after using scramble techniques? The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) Kemmis and Mc Taggart Technique which introduces four stages in implementing the action method. The four components include planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation of student activities, observation of teacher activities, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data and qualitative data. The findings in this study indicate an increase in students' reading comprehension skills from each cycle carried out. In the pre-cycle stage, only 14 out of 36 students (around 32%) achieved a score above the KKTP limit set, which is 70. However, after the actions were carried out in cycle I, the number of students who achieved completion increased to 30 students, or around 78%. Furthermore, in cycle II, there was another increase to 32 students who completed the test, or around 90% of the total students. This increase proves that the application of the scramble technique is proven to be effective in helping improve students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly impacted the education sector, particularly in improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of school management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a Management Information System (MIS) to support School-Based Management (SBM) at STIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah. Using a descriptive qualitative case study approach, the research explores planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation of MIS in the institution. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed interactively. The findings show that MIS has accelerated academic administrative services, improved data accuracy, and facilitated data-driven decision-making. However, challenges remain, including limited infrastructure, insufficient digital literacy among staff, and lack of formal documentation. Regular evaluation and continuous improvement efforts are crucial for sustainable system performance. This study contributes to both theory and practice by providing insights into the integration of MIS and SBM in Islamic higher education contexts. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi bahwa Kurikulum merdeka memberikan kebebasan kepada peserta didik dengan memperhatikan muatan internal untuk pemahaman dan penguatan kompetensi peserta didik. Salah satu ciri khas dari Kurikulum Merdeka Program Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, program ini memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan dan sekaligus menerapkan nilai-nilai pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk menganailisis perencanaan Pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Berbasis Budaya lokal di SMAN 1 Sawahlunto, mengetahui bagaimana Pelaksanaan kegiatan Kurikulum Merdeka Berbasis Budaya Lokal dalam Penerapan P5 di SMAN 1 Sawahlunto, dan menemukan kendala saat Pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Berbasis Budaya Lokal Dalam Penerapan P5 di SMAN 1 Sawahlunto. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Teori Kontruktivisme yang dikemukakan oleh Jean Piaget. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif. Informan berjumlah 12 orang terdiri dari Wakil Kurikulum, Koordinator P5, Guru Pengampu P5, dan siswa. Analisa data menggunakan Miles dan Huberman, dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 tahap dalam Perencanan Pelaksanaan KM Berbasis Budaya Lokal (1). Pemilihan Tema (2). Penentuan Topik. Adapun 4 tahap dalam Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka Berbasis Budaya Lokal Dalam Penerapan P5 yaitu (1). Guru Memberikan Orientasi kepada peserta didik (2). Kontekstualisasi Peserta didik Dalam Pembelajaran Randai (3). Aksi Randai (4). Refleksi Tentang Randai. Kendala yang di hadapi dalam Pelaksanaan P5 (1). Guru mengalami kendala dikarnakan guru pengampu P5 ini bukan asli orang yang mengenal lebih dalam randai akan tetapi guru mapel. (2). Peserta didik mengalami kendala dalam gerakan, tarian dan cerita yang diiringi dalam randai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya media yang digunakan pada pembelajaran Sosiologi di SMAN 1 Bayang Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk. (1). Membahas rancangan pembelajaran Sosiologi dengan menggunakan media Wordwall untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan keterlibatkan perserta didik. (2), Mengetahui cara yang tepat dalam menggunakan media Wordwall dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi (3). Menemukan faktor-faktor yang menghambat dan mendukung pembelajaran Sosiologi dengan menggunakan media Wordwall. memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang implementasi media ini. Metode penelitian ini yang dipakai kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang di lakukan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data ini reduksi data, penyajian data penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Wordwall dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi. Hasil menujukan bahwa terdapat 8 tahap dalam merancang pengunaan media wordwall (1). Masuk ke akun wordwall (2).
