Abstract

This research aims to understand teachers’ perceptions of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based educational technology at MAS A1 Washlivah 12 Perbaungan. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of this research consist of teachers who have used or been exposed to AI-based educational applications, such as adaptive learning platforms, chatbots, and student performance analysis systems. The research results show that the majority of teachers have a positive perception of the use of AI in education, especially regarding time efficiency, ease of access to information, and the enhancement of personalized learning. However, some challenges were also found, such as limited understanding of technology, lack of training, and concerns about the reduced role of teachers in the teaching and learning process. Overall, this research recommends the need for continuous training and technology assistance for teachers so that the use of AI in education can be more optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of agility ladder drill training on improving the agility of football players aged 13-15 years at SSB Putra Pagersari. The method used was quantitative experimental with a One Group Pre-test - Post-test design. The research subjects consisted of 13 players. Data were collected through measurement of agility before and after the training treatment. The results of data analysis using normality, homogeneity, and paired sample t-test showed that the data were normally distributed, homogeneous, and there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05; t-value 44.832 > t-table 2.26). All participants experienced an increase in agility, indicated by a decrease in completion time ranging from 1.24 to 2.40 seconds. The agility ladder drill proved effective e for physical training programs to develop agility, speed, movement coordination, and motor response in young players. It is recommended that football coaches at the SSB level implement this training more regularly in a systematic and structured manner. Furthermore, incorporating varied drills and conducting periodic evaluations are essential to maintain and optimize training outcomes in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android application-based learning media for writing explanatory texts for elementary school students. This media was developed in response to students' weak ability to compose explanatory texts according to the rules, which is caused by limited understanding of text structure and lack of internal motivation to write. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The product developed is an Android application using Smart Apps Creator, equipped with materials, learning videos, quizzes, writing features, and an automatic correction system. The validation results by material experts showed a feasibility score of 85.33% and media experts 96.36%, which is included in the very feasible category. The trial on students showed very practical results, with a score of 84.95% in small groups and 88.82% in large groups. This application is declared feasible and practical for use in learning to write explanatory texts in grade V of elementary school, and is able to improve students' understanding of text structure and writing skills independently and interactively.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigates the relationship between foreign language anxiety and self-confidence among 11th grade students learning English at SMKS 1 Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar, a vocational high school in Indonesia. Foreign language anxiety (FLA), encompassing communication apprehension, test anxiety and fear of negative evaluation, is known tu hinder language acquisition, while self-confidence suppoots persistence and willingness to communicate in the target language. Using Horwitz et al’s Foreign LanguageClassroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) and Park and Lee’s Self-Confidence Questionnaire, data were collected from 45 eleventh grade students during the 2025/2026 academic year. The results reveal a strong and significant negative correlation ( r = -0.880, p < 0.001) between foreign language anxiety and self-confidence. Most sudents experienced moderate to high anxiety and low self-confidence, which negatively impacted their English learning outcomes. The findings support the affective filter hypothesis, indicating that anxiety reduces self-confidence and limits language engagement. Recommendations focus on anxiety reduction and confidence building interventions in the classroom such as supportive teaching methods, collaborative activities and positove feedback to enhance students’ English proficiency and future career readiness.

Abstract

This study examines the relevance and application of classical management theory in the development of educational organizations in the modern era. A literature review was conducted by analyzing scholarly works, research reports, and educational policy documents from 2015 to 2025 that discuss the principles of Taylor, Fayol, and Weber, as well as their adaptation in school contexts. The analysis indicates that classical management theory still makes a significant contribution to building organizational structures that are efficient, disciplined, and accountable. However, rigid implementation can hinder innovation, creativity, and educator participation. Therefore, integrating classical principles with neoclassical approaches, transformational leadership, and educational technology becomes an effective strategy for creating adaptive, innovative, and learning-quality-oriented educational organizations. These findings confirm that classical management theory is not merely a historical concept but a foundational framework that can be modernized to address the challenges of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan alphabet leap terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Darul Falah Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan quasi experimental dengan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian seluruh anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Darul Falah Kota Padang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling yaitu B1 dan B2 dengan jumlah masing-masing 10 orang anak. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik tes. Analisis data melakukan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis kemudian data diolah dengan uji perbedaan (t-test). Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian secara keseluruhan terjadi kenaikan skor terhadap kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen jumlah skor pre-test 154 dengan rata-rata 15,4 dan post-test 217 dengan rata-rata 21,7, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol jumlah skor pre-test 138 dengan rata-rata 13,8, dan post-test 176 dengan rata-rata 17,6. Pada uji hipotesis dengan independent sample t-test nilai 0,004 <0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan permainan alphabet leap berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Darul Falah Kota Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using word search puzzle media on the skimming reading skills of fourth-grade students at Sanggar Belajar Kampung Bharu, Malaysia. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest–posttest design. The population consisted of 12 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through a skimming reading observation sheet that had been validated by a subject matter expert in Indonesian language education, and were analyzed using a paired sample t-test through SPSS 25.0. The results showed that the average score of students’ skimming reading skills was 52.50% in the pretest and 88% in the posttest. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained, indicating that the use of word search puzzle media has a significant effect on the skimming reading skills of fourth-grade students at Sanggar Belajar Kampung Bharu, Malaysia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Simulasi PhET terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi bilangan pecahan peserta didik kelas IV SDN 36 Pontianak Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan jenis Nonequivalent control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IVa dan IVb dengan data yang diperoleh berupa pre-test dan posttest soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Simulasi PhET terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi bilangan pecahan peserta didik kelas IV SDN 36 Pontianak Selatan. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh kesimpualan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Selain itu, hasil dari pengujian effect size diperoleh nilai effect size untuk sebesar 0,500066 yang tergolong kedalam kategori sedang. Ini menunjukkan Simulasi PhET berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan kelas IV

Abstract

Bullying against Children with Special Needs (CSN) is a crucial issue in education, as it directly affects their psychological, social, and academic aspects. This study aims to systematically review the phenomenon of bullying among CSN, including its types, the roles involved, causal factors, impacts, and forms of intervention that have been implemented. Based on an initial search in the Scopus database, 1,646 articles were identified. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 33 articles met the requirements for analysis. This research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach combined with Bibliometric analysis (SLR+B), focusing on Scopus-indexed publications from 2010 to 2025. Data analysis was conducted using RStudio with the Bibliometrix and Biblioshiny packages to visualize research trends, author collaboration networks, and keyword mapping. The findings revealed that the most common forms of bullying experienced by CSN include physical bullying, verbal bullying, relational aggression, and cyberbullying. The parties involved consist of perpetrators, victims, bystanders, and neutral individuals, with the main contributing factors originating from family, school, peer groups, and media environments. The impact of bullying on CSN was found to be more severe than that on regular students, particularly in psychological, social, and academic domains. Interventions involving peer support proved effective in fostering inclusive school environments and reducing the incidence of bullying. This study provides significant contributions by presenting a comprehensive mapping of the latest literature, serving as a valuable foundation for educators, researchers, and policymakers in developing strategies for the prevention and management of bullying among children with special needs.

Abstract

Riset ini lahir dari kesadaran akan pentingnya memperkenalkan budaya Minangkabau sejak dini, sebagai langkah menjaga warisan lokal dan memperkuat jati diri daerah. Literasi budaya tidak hanya sekadar memahami, tetapi juga menghargai dan ikut terlibat dalam budaya yang menjadi identitas bangsa. Di sekolah, nilai-nilai Minangkabau diterapkan melalui kegiatan belajar yang menanamkan rasa bangga terhadap budaya sendiri. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan bagaimana kegiatan budaya Minangkabau dijalankan untuk menumbuhkan literasi budaya anak di TK Negeri I Padang. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif digunakan, dengan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kepala sekolah serta empat guru menjadi narasumber utama, sementara anak-anak dan guru pelaksana kegiatan menjadi subjek penelitian. Proses analisis mencakup tahapan pengumpulan, reduksi, dan penyajian data hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan hasil diperkuat dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Penelitian menemukan bahwa pelaksanaan budaya Minangkabau di TK Negeri I Padang dilakukan melalui program mingguan “Hari Minang” yang berlangsung setiap Selasa. Kegiatan tersebut mencakup penggunaan pakaian adat, pembiasaan berbahasa Minang, serta bernyanyi dan menari tari tradisional Minangkabau, yang kemudian diperkuat melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Tari Minang setiap Kamis. Penilaian terhadap anak dilakukan melalui observasi atau pengamatan langsung oleh guru terhadap keterlibatan anak selama kegiatan berlangsung.
