Abstract

The best teachers are those with profound knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate their students. Teachers are also unsung heroes who pave the way for acquiring knowledge. Therefore, their role is crucial in educating the next generation to advance the nation. This research aims to identify the best teachers by comparing decision support system methods, specifically AHP and MAUT, to assist schools in selecting the best teachers. The study develops a system to facilitate the determination of the best teacher based on criteria set by the school. The research not only compares the two methods but also uses suitability formulas to determine the most appropriate method. With this decision support system and the methods employed, it is hoped that the MAS Darul Muta’alimin Tanah Merah will be better equipped to make decisions regarding the selection of the best teacher.

Abstract

In the context of mathematics education, many students face difficulties in understanding basic and advanced concepts which is often caused by less interactive teaching approaches and a lack of direct feedback. To overcome this problem, this research explores the use of the Quick Math application as an alternative learning media that can improve students' understanding of mathematics. This application offers a technology-based approach designed to make mathematics learning more engaging and effective. The aim of this research is to assess the effectiveness of the Quick Math application in facilitating the mathematics learning process for students and to evaluate the extent to which this application can help students overcome their difficulties in mathematics. The research methodology involves using the Quick Math application in a classroom environment over a certain period, involving a group of students who carry out exercises and evaluations through this application. Data was collected through observation, interviews and analysis of student learning outcomes before and after using the application. The research results show that using the Quick Math application significantly increases students' understanding of mathematics material. Students showed improvements in their ability to solve problems and understand mathematical concepts, thanks to the immediate feedback and interactive features provided by the app. In addition, student motivation and engagement in the learning process also increases, thanks to the gamification elements integrated in the application. This research highlights that application media such as Quick Math can be an effective tool in supporting mathematics learning and offering practical solutions to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) To find out students' difficulties in learning mathematics in grade 2 subtraction material at Sumbermulyo State Elementary School. (2) Identifying factors that influence mathematics learning difficulties in grade 2 subtraction material at Sumbermulyo State Elementary School. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research, with the aim of describing, explaining and answering in detail the problem of mathematics learning difficulties in subtraction material and its causes. The data analysis method in this research has three flows that occur simultaneously with data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The research results show that students face several learning difficulties in mathematics subjects, especially in sequential subtraction material. These difficulties include determining the place value of a number, limitations in counting skills, and difficulty understanding processes, concepts, or solving mathematical problems, especially in the context of multiple subtraction. The causes of difficulties learning mathematics can be grouped into two main factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include students' level of intelligence, students' attitudes towards learning, and students' learning motivation. Meanwhile, external factors include variations in teaching by teachers, learning methods and media used by teachers, as well as the condition of facilities and infrastructure in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively document the history of the establishment and development of Tapak Suci in Kuningan. This study will analyze aspects such as the Art Aspect, Martial Arts Aspect, and sports aspects. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with Tapak Suci administrators at various levels, coaches, senior members related to the history of Tapak Suci in Kuningan. Documentation Collecting various documents such as a brief history of the school, photos of activities, and articles related to Tapak Suci. Observation by directly observing training activities and events organized by Tapak Suci. The sample in this study was the administrators and members of Tapak Suci in Kuningan, namely 3 Pendekar, 3 Cadres/Coaches, and 5 students. Based on the results of the initial study, it was found that Tapak Suci Kuningan was founded by Mr. Drs. Aam Muharam, an electrical teacher at SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan in 1992. From the sports aspect, it has produced athletes who competed at the national championship and world championship levels. In terms of art, Tapak Suci has a typical Tapak Suci movement that is standardized by the Central Leadership and must be known by every warrior and cadre because that is the main requirement to advance to the belt level. In terms of martial arts, Tapak Suci Kuningan holds training for cadres and warriors every Friday and holds training for prospective trainers every Saturday night. To improve documentation and understanding of the history of the establishment of Tapak Suci in Kuningan, it is recommended to create a complete and systematic archive of the history, activities, and development of Tapak Suci in Kuningan, compile a comprehensive written history of Tapak Suci in Kuningan, from its establishment to its current development, conduct further research on important figures and historical events related to Tapak Suci in Kuningan. Explain the training program for Tapak Suci administrators and trainers to better understand the history and values ​​contained in Tapak Suci.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a differentiation approach through microsite.id to improve basic literacy in class VII with a total of 150 students at SMP Negeri 1 Malang. This aims to increase the literacy of junior high school students, maximize the application of differentiation based on learning needs and student characteristics through the development of interactive learning media, namely microsite.id. The research method used by researchers is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation and data analysis using qualitative descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The advantage of this research proposal is that the S.id microsite-based learning model allows for differentiation of learning according to student needs through the content presented, so that it can encourage an increase in students' basic literacy.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study aims to determine the existence of a significant influence between the use of the QuizWhizzer application on student learning outcomes on the material form of objects in class IV SD GMIT Airnona 2 Kupang City. This study uses correlational statistical methods because in this study measuring two variables. The population used in this study were grade IV students of GMIT Airnona 2 Elementary School totaling 28 people. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample where all the population was used as a sample. Data collection techniques are observation, tests and document studies. The results of the research conducted by the researcher show that there is an effect of using the QuizWhizzer application on learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the normality test which shows a significant value of 0.200> 0.05 so that the data is normally distributed, the homogeneity test results show (sig) Levene's of 0.401> 0.05 so that the data obtained is homogeneous and the results of hypothesis testing using paired sample T-test show that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000. This shows that the significance level (2-tailed) <0.05 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of QuizWhizzer-based learning media is quite effective in improving the learning outcomes of grade IV students in the IPAS subject matter of the form of objects at GMIT Airnona 2 Elementary School.

Abstract

One learning approach that emphasizes the scientific process in understanding basic science and science concepts in elementary schools is the scientific approach. This research will analyze how the scientific approach is applied in science and science learning in elementary schools, with a focus on the application of processes such as observation, asking questions, experiments, data analysis, and communicating the results. Qualitative descriptive research is used to collect data through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the scientific method can help students become more engaged in lessons, improve their ability to think critically, and increase their understanding of concepts. However, its implementation raises several obstacles; Laboratory facilities are limited and teacher resources must be increased. This research shows that teachers need additional training, as well as improved facilities and supporting equipment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the need for developing a practical guidebook for informatics subjects, designing a valid practical guidebook for informatics subjects for class VII MTs Assalam, and to determine the validity and practicality of the practical guidebook for informatics subjects for class VII MTs Assalam. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) model with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach. Data collection for the study used alpha testing and beta testing techniques. The alpha testing questionnaire was validated by 2 validators, namely the content/material expert validator and the media expert validator, as well as the beta trial questionnaire by prospective users in this case 25 class VII students. The design of the practical guide was designed using the Canva application which was exported into a soft PDF file. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the needs analysis is at the required level with a percentage of 85%; (2) the product developed is a practical guide for introducing Microsoft Software to informatics subjects for class VII; (3) product feasibility based on the alpha test results of content/material expert validation with a percentage of 97%, and the alpha test results of media expert validation obtained a percentage of 94%. The alpha test conducted by students obtained a result of 85%. The beta test obtained a result of 93%. The practical guide can be used and does not need to be revised, and the responses of subject teachers with results are in the very practical category with a percentage of 100%. The results of this study indicate that the Informatics subject practical guide book can be used by users.

Abstract

This research uses a true experimental design method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were all fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Bojong Lor. By using sampling techniques, class V B was determined as the experimental class with a total of 22 students and class V A as the control class with a total of 24 students. Research data was collected through written tests and questionnaires.Based on the results of statistical calculations using two independent t tests (Independent Samples Test), tcount was 0.041 and ttable was 2,100. So tcount (0.041)> ttable (2,100), this shows that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, it can be stated that the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by fun thinkers book media is applied in learning spatial structures and spatial nets in class V students at SD Negeri 1 Bojong Lor. Based on analysis of questionnaire data, it is proven that the application of the problem based learning model can increase student learning motivation in the learning process of spatial structures and spatial nets in class V students at SD Negeri 1 Bojong Lor.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and determine the effectiveness of the Smart Box Mathematics learning media in mathematics subjects with material on adding numbers 1-10 for grade 1 elementary school. This research uses the Research and Development research method. The subjects in this research were 1st grade elementary school students, totaling 16 students. Data collection techniques use pretest questions, posttest questions, interest questionnaires, student responses and teacher responses. Data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results show that the development of Smart Box Mathematics learning media for grade 1 elementary school students carried out by researchers was declared valid based on the assessment of validators consisting of two experts, namely media experts and learning design experts. Validation carried out by media experts got a percentage of 96%, while validation from learning design experts got a percentage of 97.6%. The research results also show that the Smart Box Mathematic learning media is said to be effective, which can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes before and after using the Smart Box Mathematic learning media with an average pretest score of 54.69 and after learning using the Smart Box Mathematic learning media the average posttest was 76.56. This shows that there is a difference in the average pretest and posttest of 21,875, so it can be said that there has been an increase in student learning outcomes. From the results of distributing interest questionnaires given to students, it can be seen that students have experienced a significant increase in interest in learning mathematics. Thus it can be concluded that the Smart Box Mathematics learning media is declared valid, effective and practical.
