Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Since Sir Isaac Newton, positivist ways of knowing have dominated Society with the logic of modernity that makes people assume that science and technology (scientific knowledge) and local knowledge are an antinomy, where one negates the other. This study utilizes Pierre Bourdieu's conceptual-theoretical framework of Habitus, Capital, and Arena to define and analyze, and explain the attitudes of the Kajang Indigenous Community in Tana Toa towards cultural capital and educational institutions and further, how they interpret and view Education as an alternative to maintaining and preserving culture. 14 respondents who are Customary, Religious and Educational figures representing gender subjects determined by Purposive sampling techniques, were included as informants in the study. Our field findings provide strong evidence that the Kajang Community has adequate strategies and adaptation capabilities in maintaining and preserving the existence of their culture, creating a harmonious blend of local and formal knowledge.

The background of the problem in this study is the low ability of the squat style long jump. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of hurdles and target-reaching training on the ability of the squat style long jump in students of SDN 1 Warugede. The population was 175 students. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling. The design of this study used One Group Pretest Posttest. The sample was 30 students. The method used was experimental. The data collection technique used a skill test with a squat style long jump assessment rubric carried out in the initial and final tests.Data processing and analysis techniques used SPSS 25. The results of the hypothesis test in the study, the t-count value = 11,407> t-Table value = 1,697. In addition, the probability is greater, namely 0.00 <0.05. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted or there is a significant effect of hurdles and reaching targets on the ability of the squat style long jump. Based on the t-value obtained, hurdle jumping and target reaching exercises have an influence on the basic technical ability of the squat style long jump in class V students at SDN 1 Warugede.

This research aims to test the effect of the problem-based learning model assisted by learning videos on learning motivation, critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. Statistical accuracy is relied upon to ensure the quality of the results obtained as empirical evidence using a Quasi experimental approach and a non-equivalent control group design. Data was collected through learning outcomes tests and questionnaires, as well as documentation from a total of 56 samples with details of 27 students from the Experiment class and 29 students from the Control class. Descriptive statistical analysis is used along with other sets of analyzes to describe the results. The findings show that there is an influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by learning videos on learning motivation, critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes with each significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in class VIII-G SMP Negeri 18 Surabaya in Social Studies (IPS) material on Indonesia's natural diversity through the application of interactive wordwall media. This study used a Collaborative Classroom Action Research (PTKK) approach with two cycles to evaluate the effectiveness of interactive media in improving students' achievement of Learning Objective Criteria (KKTP). Data collection techniques included formative tests, classroom observations, and interviews with Social Studies teachers. In the pre-cycle, which is seen from the End of Year Summative test (SAT), the average student score is 67.26 with only 32.35% of students reaching the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). The application of wordwall interactive media in cycle I led to an increase in the class average score to 78.23 and 76.47% of students reached the Criteria for Achieving Learning Objectives (KKTP). The results of cycle II showed greater progress with the class average score increasing to 82.06 and 88.23% of students reaching the Criteria for Achievement of Learning Objectives (KKTP). These findings suggest that wordwall interactive media, when combined with adaptive teaching strategies, is effective in improving student learning outcomes. This study recommends the application of similar interactive media in other subjects to improve student learning outcomes.

The background that prompted this research was that the learning discipline of class V students at SD Negeri 01 Limbangan Kersana, Brebes Regency, was still relatively low. There are still students who come in late either during the first period of class or after the break and there are many textbooks that have been deliberately left in desk drawers, they are dressed sloppy and most of them are still improving their study discipline when they are about to take tests or exams that they will face. The type of research used by researchers is a qualitative method with the approach that will be taken is a qualitative approach. This research method approach uses a type of descriptive research approach that attempts to describe a symptom, an event that occurs when the researcher makes observations at the place to be studied. The results of the analysis of the implementation of learning discipline at SD Negeri 01 Limbangan Kersana Brebes have not been implemented well. There are still students who come late to school when learning first starts and after the break so that students' enthusiasm for learning is running low. The factors that influence the learning skills possessed by students are the differences in character possessed by students. The differences in character possessed by students mean that teachers must be able to apply or use different approach methods with students so that students can improve their learning discipline. The punishments given by teachers to students who violate them include watering the plants, cleaning the school environment and writing a statement so that they don't do it again.

When selecting the most efficient compression method, it is crucial to compare the available algorithms. The methods used for file compression vary, including algorithms such as LZW (Lempel Ziv Welch) and Taboo Codes. Large file sizes can cause various issues, such as increased storage requirements and longer transmission times, leading to higher costs. Compression is essential as it reduces file size, and different compression algorithms, like LZW and Taboo Codes, offer various benefits. Both algorithms are lossless compression techniques. The criteria used to determine which algorithm is more efficient for compressing MKV files include Compression Ratio, Ratio Compression, Redundancy, and Space Saving. The Exponential Method is used to analyze and compare these algorithms to understand their effectiveness, highlighting their respective strengths and weaknesses. After weighting each criterion using the exponential method, Lempel Ziv Welch achieved a score of 8.7926, while Taboo Codes achieved a score of 9.48313. Based on these results, it can be concluded that Lempel Ziv Welch requires less effort compared to Taboo Codes.

MP3 audio files are a common format for storing and transmitting audio data, but file size can impact delivery time and memory capacity requirements. Compressing MP3 files is crucial for efficient transfer and storage space savings. Two popular lossless compression algorithms, namely arithmetic coding and Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW), play a significant role in determining how well MP3 audio files can be compressed without significant loss of quality. A comparative analysis between these two algorithms using criteria such as Compression Ratio, Ratio Compression, Redundancy, and Space Saving with the help of exponential methods indicates that arithmetic coding and LZW have total values of 10.1127 and 9.6047, respectively. This suggests that while arithmetic coding may be more efficient in terms of compression, LZW requires less effort. This comparison provides insights into the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm, aiding in the selection of the most effective compression method for MP3 audio files.

Different learning strategies are needed to increase students' motivation in learning mathematics. It is also important to integrate local culture into the educational process, so that students can understand the relationship between mathematical concepts and their environment. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by implementing the STAD type cooperative learning model and the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The learning media used are Powerpoint and the Wordwall application as teaching materials for whole number counting operations in class VI at SD Labschool Unesa 2. This research uses Kurt Lewin's paradigm in the form of classroom action research (PTK). The research was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on research data from cycle I, there was an increase in learning outcomes by 60.87% and a decrease in the number of incomplete students by 9 people. Learning outcomes increased to 86.96% in cycle II, there were 3 students who were declared incomplete. The application of the CRT approach and STAD model supported by PowerPoint media and the Wordwall application succeeded in improving student learning outcomes in whole number counting operations material in class VI at SD Labschool Unesa 2.

Selecting the best teacher is crucial in the field of education as it motivates educators who have taught students and allows for recognition of their efforts. However, currently, the data collection process is poorly organized, leading to suboptimal outcomes in identifying the best teachers. Therefore, this study uses a decision support system applying the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) to calculate the competency scores for each teacher and rank them accordingly. MAUT, which stands for Multi-Attribute Utility Theory, is used for decision-making by identifying relevant attributes and assigning weights to each attribute based on its importance. The implementation of a decision support system using MAUT is expected to assist in accurately and effectively determining the best teacher at SDN 101883 Pasar XIII. This research aids SDN 101883 Pasar XIII in making structured, accurate decisions regarding the selection of the best teacher. The study results indicate that Salome Pandiangan, S.Pd, with a score of 0.818975, is identified as the best teacher at SDN 101883 Pasar XIII.

This research aims to improve the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students. The subjects in this research were 21 grade IV students at SD Negeri 03 Klepu, Pringapus District. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation, formulating learning objectives, developing products, product trials, pretest and posttest as well as evaluation and revision. This research method uses quantitative descriptive. The research results show that SIGAYA media can improve the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students. SIGAYA Media obtained a score of 100% in material expert validation and 100% in media expert validation. Both validation results are included in the "Very valid" category. The average score for critical thinking skills obtained was the lowest score of 10 and the highest score of 90 with an average of 63. After using SIGAYA media the lowest score was 20 and the highest score was 100 with an average of 68.5. So the data can be concluded that the average score of students' pretest and posttest results increased by 5.24. SIGAYA media was declared effective because the posttest results increased from the pretest. has 0.041 which is greater than 0.05, so it is said that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Ha is accepted, which means that in the pretest and posttest there are significant changes to improve the critical thinking skills of grade 4 elementary school.
