Abstract

This study aims to analyze trends and research focuses on science literacy using a bibliometric approach. The research employs bibliometric tools such as VOSviewer and databases like Scopus to map and analyze research trends from 2019 to 2024. Keywords used in this study include "science literacy skills," "science literacy," and "science education." The analysis results show a significant increase in the number of publications related to science literacy over the past decade, with main themes including understanding scientific concepts, developing critical thinking skills, and applying science literacy in social contexts. Additionally, there is a research focus on effective teaching methods and learning strategies that support the development of science literacy across various educational levels. This analysis highlights substantial potential for further research, particularly in linking science literacy with other educational topics and exploring its role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for quality education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the impact of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on students' critical thinking skills, self-efficacy, and math learning outcomes. Conducted with fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontoa, the research employs a quantitative quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample, selected through simple random sampling, includes 61 students—32 in the experimental group and 29 in the control group. Data were collected via tests and questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results from the MANOVA test show a significant difference (p = 0.009 < 0.05) between students taught with the RME approach and those taught with conventional teacher-centered methods in terms of critical thinking skills, self-efficacy, and learning outcomes. Specifically, critical thinking skills (p = 0.008 < 0.05), self-efficacy (p = 0.005 < 0.05), and learning outcomes (p = 0.003 < 0.05) were all significantly better in the RME group compared to the conventional teaching group.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the suboptimal implementation of learning carried out by teachers, which has an impact on the low learning outcomes of students in class IV SDN 04 Bukit Apit, Bukittinggi City. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in the material of whole numbers with differentiated learning in class IV SDN 04 Bukit Apit, Bukittinggi City. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. It is carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I consisting of 2 meetings and cycle II consisting of 1 meeting. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class IV SDN 04 Bukit Apit, Bukittinggi City with a total of 24 students, 13 male students and 11 female students. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests. The results of this study indicate an increase in: a) the cycle I teaching module obtained an average of 87% (good) and in cycle II obtained a percentage of 95% (Very Good); b) the implementation of the learning process in the teacher aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 82% (good) and cycle II 96% (very good); c) the implementation of the student aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 82% (good) and cycle II 96% (very good); d) the learning outcomes of students in cycle I obtained an average of 76.5 (sufficient) and cycle II 90 (good). Based on these results, it can be concluded that differentiated learning can improve student learning outcomes in the material on integers in class IV SDN 04 Bukit Apit, Bukittinggi City Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh belum optimalnya pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas IV SDN 04 Bukit Apit Kota Bukittinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi bilangan cacah dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di kelas IV SDN 04 Bukit Apit Kota Bukittinggi.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus I terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri dari 1 pertemuan. Di setiap siklus meliputi empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas IV SDN 04 Bukit Apit Kota Bukittinggi dengan jumlah peserta didik 24 orang, 13 orang peserta didik laki-laki dan 11 orang peserta didik perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, dan non tes.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada: a) modul ajar siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 87% (baik) dan pada siklus II memperoleh persentase 95% (Sangat Baik); b) pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran aspek guru siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 82% (baik) dan siklus II 96% (sangat baik); c) pelaksanaan aspek peserta didik siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 82% (baik) dan siklus II 96% (sangat baik); d) hasil belajar peserta didik siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 76,5 (cukup) dan siklus II 90 (baik). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi bilangan cacah di kelas IV SDN 04 Bukit Apit Kota Bukittinggi .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of role-playing media to improve cooperative attitude skills. Students will be the center of learning because they are the subjects of learning. The research method used is classroom action research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study aim to show that the use of immersive media can significantly improve students' cooperative attitudes. Students become more active in communicating, supporting each other and collaborating to complete group assignments. Based on this study, multimedia role-playing games are applied as an effective method to improve students' cooperative attitudes in learning. This study suggests that teachers be more creative in using interactive learning methods so that they significantly encourage students' cooperative attitudes. The use of role-playing learning can also improve students' speaking skills and academic achievement. Therefore, in the learning process, teachers should use the role play learning model, because in addition to improving speaking skills and learning outcomes, it can also be more optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of a differentiated Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in learning Pancasila Education with the material “Becoming a Great Child by Applying Norms” in grade V elementary school. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The research subjects were 13 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Buran. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that the implementation of differentiated PBL effectively increased students' active participation, critical thinking skills, and their understanding of the application of norms in daily life. Differentiation is applied through variations in content, process, and product that are tailored to students' learning needs. In addition, the PBL model used provides meaningful learning experiences involving real problem solving. This study concludes that differentiated PBL is effective in increasing student engagement as well as concept understanding, and provides positive implications for the development of 21st century skills. This study recommends that teachers adopt PBL methods with differentiation in mind to create more inclusive learning that meets students' needs.

Abstract

Group investigation is a type of model that gives students the opportunity to learn critical thinking and develop their own abilities so that they can easily analyze the elements of learning in any classroom or outside the classroom through investigation. The teacher's duty must consider several factors, one of which is the use of learning models that can enhance students' learning motivation. Learning motivation is the learning process carried out by students and within their own minds, which includes quotes, will, and desire. Therefore, the researcher wants to re-examine using a literature review method to determine whether it is indeed effective for science subjects. It is hoped that this can provide input for teachers and educators in carrying out the learning process effectively and maximally. Because the increased motivation to learn will have an impact on improving students' learning outcomes. The GI cooperative learning strategy is very suitable for science education. With the relatively broad science curriculum and design elements that contribute to the scientific method, it is expected that students in groups will be able to contribute consistently based on their daily experiences.

Abstract

This development research aims to (1) describe the procedure for developing Multimedia learning of object form material based on wordwall in class IV SDN 55/I Sridadi, (2) to determine the level of validity of the development of multimedia learning of object form material based on wordwall in class IV SDN 55/I Sridadi, (3) to determine the level of practicality of the product from the development of Multimedia learning of object form material based on wordwall in class IV SDN 55/I Sridadi. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R & D) using the Lee & Owens (2004) development model which has five stages, namely (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The type of research data is in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. The source of research data was obtained from validators, teachers, and students. Quantitative data were obtained from the results of the material validation questionnaire, media validation, and language validation, practical questionnaires and student response questionnaires. This research was conducted in class IV SDN 55/I Sridadi. The development procedure produced a Multimedia product based on wordwall material about the form of objects. The results of the media product validation test from material experts reached a percentage of 94% with a very valid category, secondly the results of the media expert validation reached a percentage of 74.28% with a fairly valid category, thirdly the results of the language expert validation reached 90% with a very valid category. The practicality of learning multimedia reached a percentage of 97.5% with a very practical category. For the practicality of the student response questionnaire acquisition of 97.16%, with the criteria of very practical practicality. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that wordwall-based learning Multimedia is considered valid and practical to be used as a supporting media for learning science on the material of the form of objects in class IV SDN 55/I Sridadi.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan pondasi utama dalam pengembangan bangsa dan penting untuk mencetak generasi yang cerdas dan kompetitif. Di Indonesia, upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, terutama di jenjang SMP, menjadi prioritas utama. Kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui program unggulan yang mencakup kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri 1 Balikpapan. Melalui perencanaan yang melibatkan semua pemangku kepentingan, termasuk guru dan siswa, diharapkan tercipta dukungan untuk program-program tersebut. Selain itu, evaluasi berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk menilai efektivitas program, meskipun berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan resistensi terhadap perubahan, juga harus dihadapi. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan rekomendasi bagi pemangku kebijakan untuk meningkatkan standar mutu pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to explore innovations in mathematics lesson planning at MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar within the context of the Merdeka Belajar policy. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, focused on fifth-grade teachers and students. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research findings indicate that teachers have successfully implemented various innovations, such as diagnostic assessments and the use of engaging learning media, which can enhance students' motivation and learning outcomes. These innovations include the creation of creative Lesson Plans (RPP) and the formulation of teaching strategies that meet students' needs. Additionally, teachers utilize technology in the learning process to make the material more engaging and interactive. The implementation of diagnostic assessments helps in understanding students' strengths and weaknesses so that learning can be tailored to individual needs. The study also found that the implemented innovations can create a pleasant and conducive learning environment. This contributes to increased participation and enthusiasm of students in learning mathematics.
