Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to explore best practices in the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) at SMA PGII 1 Kota Bandung, as well as to identify the challenges faced during its implementation. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving direct observations and semi-structured interviews with the principal, teachers, and students. The findings indicate that strong management support, effective user training, adequate technological infrastructure, and transparent communication are key factors in the successful implementation of MIS. However, challenges such as resistance to change, limitations in system features, and dependence on technology still need to be addressed. This research recommends enhancing ongoing training, developing system features according to user needs, and applying change management strategies to overcome staff resistance. Additionally, it is essential to establish contingency plans for technology disruptions to ensure smooth learning processes. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for other educational institutions in implementing similar systems and serve as a reference for policymakers in formulating more effective strategies for the adoption of information technology in educational settings.

Management Information Systems (MIS) has evolved into one of the key components in the effective management of data and information in modern organizations. With advances in communication and information technology and the increasing complexity and volume of data faced by organizations, it is important to understand the key components of a SIM. The purpose of this research is to analyze the key components in SIM with a focus on the concept, function and implementation as SIM is not only a tool to collect and store data, but how it can contribute to strategic decision making. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature analysis and case investigations on several organizations that have successfully implemented SIM. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with managers and system users, as well as document analysis related to the use of SIM. The results showed that the success of SIM implementation is strongly influenced by four main components: understanding user needs, effective data integration, management support, and adequate training. This study also found that organizations that actively evaluate and adjust the system have a higher success rate in utilizing SIM. The impact of this research is expected to provide insight into the importance of understanding and implementing SIM components to achieve competitive advantage in business.

This study analyzes the impact of zoning policy on the quality of education at SMP Negeri 4 Comal, Pemalang Regency. The zoning policy was introduced to improve equitable access and quality of education, where students are accepted based on their proximity to the school. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed, involving observations, interviews, and documentation from the principal, teachers, students, and parents. The findings indicate that the implementation of the zoning policy at SMP Negeri 4 Comal has improved educational access; however, challenges remain, such as inadequate infrastructure and community resistance related to perceptions of favored schools. This research provides recommendations for local governments to enhance the implementation of zoning policies to effectively achieve equitable educational quality. Thus, this study contributes to the development of public administration knowledge, particularly in the context of educational policy in Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan model pembelajaran Problem Solving Learning (PSL) terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas III di Gugus kanigoro yang terletak di Kecamatan Tingkir Kota Salatiga. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi dua Sekolah Dasar yang terletak di gugus Kanigoro Salatiga dengan Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Sampel penelitian meliputi <30 siswa kelas III SD Negeri Sidorejo Kidul 02 sebagai kelompok eksperimen siswa kelas III SD Negeri Sidorejo Kidul 03 sebagai kelompok control. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu teknik tes yang berupa pembuatan cerpen. Teknik analisis yang dipakai meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji beda dengan menggunakan uji-t yang diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 29. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,005, maka H0 ditolak Ha diterima atau dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan model pembelajaran Problem Solving Learning (PSL) terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas III di Gugus Kanigoro Salatiga. Hal ini juga didukung dari data deskriptif yang menunjukkan rata-rata kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelompok eksperimen (kelas Problem Based Learning) lebih rendah dibandingkan rata-rata kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelompok kontrol (kelas Problem Solving Learning).

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemajuan perkembangan teknologi yang mempengaruhi banyak aspek kehidupan, salah satunya pendidikan. Kemajuan teknologi mengubah dunia pendidikan diikuti dengan permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama pembealajaran IPAS. Siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Oleh karena itu penulis mengembangkan media LKPD Elektronik yang media ini dapat diakses menggunakan gawai, media ini dapat menampilkan materi, video pembelajaran, soal LKPD, quiz dengan efektif dan kelayakan dalam pengoperasian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan dan respon peserta didik. Pengembangan media LKPD Elektronik Berbasis MIT App Inventor menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan model ADDIE, mencakup lima tahap yaitu, analysis, design, development, implementation, and eavaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, angket. Media ini telah teruji kelayakannya oleh para ahli dan respon pengguna.Penilaian kelayakan dari tiga ahli media memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88% dengan kategori sangat layak. Penilaian kelayakan dari tiga ahli materi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 83% dengan kategori sangat layak, kemudian penilaian dari tiga ahli bahasa memperoleh rata-rata nilai 90% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil yang didapat dari respon peserta didik dapat dilihat dari tes skala kecil dan tes skala besar. Penilaian respon peserta didik pada tes skala kecil diperoleh nilai 97% dengan kategori sangat layak, kemudian penilaian respon peserta didik pada tes skala besar diperoleh nilai 94% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan respon pengguna, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media LKPD Elektronik Berbasis MIT App Inventor ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPAS kelas V SDN 007 Samarinda Ilir.

This study uses a Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with wordwall media to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects. This research implements PTK (Classroom Action Research) with the implementation of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Techniques for collecting data include documentation, experiments, and observations. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis is applied by implementation in two cycles. At SDN 26 Cakranegara, 34 grade IV students and teachers became research subjects. The findings of this study provide complete cognitive learning outcomes that come from the pre-cycle with 15 students (45%), then the second cycle increases to 26 students (77%), and the third cycle increases to 34 students (100%). Therefore, it can be said that using the PBL learning approach with the help of Wordwall media can improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students of Science SDN 26 Cakranegara.

This study was motivated by the lack of students‘ process skills which aims to describe the application of the Learning Cycle learning model to improve students’ process skills in the IPAS content in class V SDN 29/I Terusan. This research was conducted at SDN 29/I Terusan on 26 January 2024 to 26 February 2024. The research approach used classroom action research which was carried out in two cycles in which each cycle had two meetings and there were four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instruments used observation, tests and documentation. The results showed that the learning cycle learning model can improve the process skills of students in the content of IPAS V SDN 29/I Terusan. The increase can be seen from the data analysis of each cycle. cycle I meeting 1 reached 49.45% then at meeting II to 56.33%. Cycle II meeting I reached 61.77% at meeting II to 75.00%. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the learning cycle learning model can improve the skills of fifth grade students in the IPAS content. This can be seen from the increase in the process skills of students on the content of IPAS reaching ≥70

This research was motivated by developing picture story learning media to increase reading interest for class III students at SDN Pilang 1, in learning the Sub-theme of Development of Food Production Technology. The problem students found when researchers conducted observations was that most of the collection of reading books as a learning resource still only contained reading texts, with a lack of pictures containing the content of the reading. This causes students' interest in reading to decrease because books do not contain pictures and material that supports the reading content. Each individual student's interest in reading is different, researchers found that students will read books if they have an interest in reading. The aim of this research is to make class III students at SDN Pilang 1 interested in reading. Research and Development (R&D) is the method that will be used in this research. In this research, the subjects used were class III elementary school students, totaling 18 students. Data were collected using student reading interest observation sheets. And material expert validation sheets and media expert validation results. From the material expert validation results assessed by the validator lecturer, it is known that the average validation result is 4.4 with a percentage of 82.6%, while the media expert validation results assessed by the validator lecturer, it is known that the average validation result is 4.1 with a percentage of 82%. % included in the eligible category. And the results of observations on students' reading interest, the researcher distributed questionnaires to class III students, the results of the questionnaire after using picture story media were with a reading interest mean percentage of 80,5% with good criteria.

This research was motivated by developing pop up book learning media to improve the learning outcomes of class II students at SDN Sidokepung 1 Sidoarjo in Pancasila education learning. The aim of this research is to find out whether the Pop Up Book media is suitable for use with second grade elementary school students and to find out the learning outcomes of second grade elementary school students after using pop up book media. This research uses the Research and development (R&D) development method which uses 7 procedures, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, product testing, design revision. This research was conducted at SDN Sidokepung 1 Sidoarjo which consisted of 19 samples. The results of media validation produced 81% data categorized as "Feasible and Quite Effective", and the results of material validation produced 9.7% data or categorized as "Appropriate" for use. The results, students in the class at SDN Sidokepung 1 Sidoarjo produced effective learning results, namely 60.52 in the pretest and 86.84 in the posttest with an N-Gain value of 84.18. The results of the research are that the pop up book media is very suitable for use and improves learning outcomes for students II at SDN Sidokepung 1 Sidoarjo.

This article aims to explore the philosophical perspectives on the "Merdeka Belajar" (Independent Learning) policy in the context of freedom and responsibility in education. Using a qualitative approach through literature analysis, this article delves into the philosophical concepts of freedom and responsibility from educational thinkers such as Ki Hadjar Dewantara, Paulo Freire, and John Dewey, while evaluating the implementation of this policy in Indonesia. The results show that the "Merdeka Belajar" policy has had a positive impact on student motivation for independent learning, but still faces challenges in implementation, such as insufficient understanding by teachers and limited infrastructure support. The discussion highlights that the freedom offered in education must be balanced with responsibility from students, teachers, and parents to create an effective learning environment. In conclusion, despite the challenges, this policy holds significant potential to shape a generation of learners who are intelligent, critical, and responsible.
