Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to analyze the role of the school principal in developing students' character education through the implementation of the among system at SDN 04 Tegalsari. The among system, rooted in Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational philosophy, emphasizes the asah, asih, and asuh approach in the educational process. The school principal plays a strategic role in creating a school environment that supports character development by providing exemplary behavior, motivation, and policies oriented toward instilling moral and social values in students. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the principal acts as a manager, leader, and motivator in the implementation of the among system. Strategies applied include teacher development, strengthening school culture, and fostering collaboration with parents and the community. The impact is evident in the improvement of students' discipline, responsibility, and empathy. In conclusion, the principal's role in implementing the among system at SDN 04 Tegalsari has proven highly effective in developing students' character education. The study recommends enhancing teacher training and increasing school community involvement to ensure the program's sustainability.

Learning Islamic religious education requires a learning model that is able to activate students so that students are inspired by their learning motivation and are interested in their curiosity in learning Islamic religious education. By using this qualitative approach, the researcher attempted to describe the phenomena of implementing Islamic religious education learning using the TGT learning model at the Al Abror Islamic Elementary School in Situbondo in a detailed, comprehensive and complex manner based on data obtained from valid informants and carried out in a natural setting. The results of the research that has been carried out show that Islamic religious education teachers have been successful in using the TGT learning model in motivating students in learning Islamic religious education.

This research explores the central role of pedagogy in forming a positive culture in the school environment. Through an in-depth review of related literature and real case studies, this research reveals that implementing a student-focused learning approach, combined with instilling positive values and inclusive practices, is able to create a learning ecosystem that supports students' holistic growth. Research data proves that a positive school culture not only contributes to increasing academic achievement, but also forms students' strong, independent and empathetic character. Furthermore, this research analyzes several aspects that influence the success of positive culture implementation, such as visionary leadership, involvement of all stakeholders, and ongoing support. The results can add insight into important implications for educators, regulators and the entire school community in efforts to create an optimal learning environment for the younger generation.

Pembelajaran bahasa Bali merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran muatan lokal yang wajib dipelajari oleh siswa-siswa di Bali mulai dari jenjang sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah atas. Namun, proses pembelajaran bahasa Bali sering kali mengalami kendala karena berbagai faktor salah satunya pembelajaran yang masih monoton atau konvensional. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini akan membahas terkait proses pembelajaran bahasa Bali yang menyenangkan dan menarik melalui penerapan media wordwall. Tujuan dari penelitin ini adalah menjelaskan proses penerapan media wordwall dalam pembelajaran kosa basa Bali tingkat sekolah dasar dan mengetahui dampak penerapan media wordwall dalam pembelajaran kosa basa Bali tingkat sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah adalah siswa SD kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Ubung. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah penerapan media wordwall dalam pembelajaran kosa basa Bali. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga langkah dalam menganalisis suatu data, yaitu: (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan media wordwall dalam pembelajaran kosa basa Bali dilakukan dengan penyiapan materi terlebih dahulu berupa soal yang dibuat dalam media wordwall selanjutnya melakukan permainan dengan siswa secara sistematis berdasarkan aturan yang dibuat. Dampak dari penerapan media wordwall dalam pembelajaran kosa basa Bali meliputi beberapa aspek pendidikan berupa motivasi belajar siswa meningkat, kreatifitas siswa, pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran, dan keaktifas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

The relationship between learning theories and their consequences for the creation of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum is examined in this paper. The requirement of integrating cognitive, behavioral, and constructivist learning theories, the challenges of successful implementation, and the need to match the curriculum with contemporary educational practices are some of the main topics covered. The goal of the study is to examine how different learning theories might improve the PAI curriculum and give students a more interesting and fulfilling learning environment. Using a qualitative methodology, the study collected information on current practices and difficulties by conducting interviews with curriculum developers and instructors as well as literature reviews. The results show that incorporating different learning theories into the curriculum enhances it and fosters students' moral and critical thinking. In order for teachers to successfully implement these theoretical frameworks in their instruction, the study also highlights the significance of continual professional development. In order to fulfill the varied requirements of kids, curricular policymakers should embrace a dynamic and inclusive approach to PAI, according to the research's conclusions.

This study aims to analyze the impact of differentiated instruction on elementary students' motivation and academic achievement through a literature review. The analysis of various studies shows that differentiated instruction, which accommodates individual student differences, has a significant positive impact on students' intrinsic motivation, academic achievement, and engagement in the learning process. This approach is effective because it provides flexibility in choosing tasks and learning strategies, and creates an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The findings have important implications for educators to adopt differentiated instruction strategies in their teaching practices, as well as for policymakers to promote the implementation of this approach at all levels of education.

Human resource development, especially for teachers, plays an important role in creating child-friendly education. Teacher resource development as a strategy to improve child-friendly education. With a focus on improving teachers' teaching quality and interpersonal skills, this study highlights the importance of training and continuous professional development. The methods used include qualitative analysis of teachers' experiences and direct observation in a child-friendly classroom context. Effective teacher resource development contributes to a more positive and inclusive learning environment for children. This article explores a range of strategies and practices that can be implemented to improve teachers' competencies in supporting safe and inclusive learning environments. With an approach that focuses on improving pedagogical skills and understanding of children's needs, professional development for teachers is expected to have a positive impact on the quality of education. The results of the two institutions show that the development process in schools is an introduction to child-friendly education, including parents to take part in running the program. In addition, the supporting factors and obstacles that exist in the institution are the understanding of educators and education personnel in implementing child-friendly programs, adequate facilities that must be adapted to the needs of children.

Differentiated learning is an instructional approach based on the understanding that each student has unique needs, interests, abilities, and learning styles. In the context of Civics Education (PKn), this implies that students come from diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences, which can influence how they understand and apply the values of Pancasila and citizenship concepts in their daily lives. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of differentiated learning in Civics Education for elementary school students. This research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, utilizing the Publish or Perish (POP) tool with keywords such as "differentiated learning" and "civics education in elementary schools," limited to the years 2019–2024. From an initial selection of 40 articles, the top 10 were chosen based on the highest citation counts and relevance to the research theme. The findings reveal that differentiated learning in Civics Education at the elementary school level has proven effective in enhancing students' understanding and engagement. This study supports the importance of implementing a differentiated approach in the Merdeka Curriculum, as it provides more meaningful learning experiences for students.

Education is an important pillar in a country's development, but educational inequality in remote areas of Indonesia is a serious challenge. This article explores the role of stakeholders-the government, educational institutions, communities and the private sector-in addressing these inequalities. Stakeholders have a responsibility to improve access and quality of education, especially in isolated areas. The government plays a role in formulating policies and providing education infrastructure, while education institutions are required to adapt the curriculum to be relevant to local needs. Community organizations and NGOs serve as a bridge between the government and the community, providing non-formal education and identifying specific challenges. The private sector, through corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, can provide financial support and construction of education facilities. The article also discusses the challenges faced, including limited infrastructure, a shortage of qualified teaching staff, and social and economic issues that hinder educational participation. Various solutions are proposed, such as increasing scholarships, providing transportation, and using technology in education. Through collaboration between all stakeholders, it is hoped that access to and quality of education in remote areas can improve, creating more equitable opportunities for all children. This conclusion emphasizes the importance of integrated efforts in addressing education inequality to support sustainable development in Indonesia.

Classroom action research generally aims to improve the quality of learning for class IV students at SDN Uteran 01. In particular, it aims to: (1) Describe the implementation of integrated STEAM and Computational Thinking style learning based on local wisdom; and (2) Knowing the extent of understanding of the concept of integrated friction force in STEAM and Computational Thinking based on local wisdom. The research was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Cycle I consists of two meetings, as does Cycle II. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and comparative. Student activity data is explored using the Student Activity Observation Sheet, while data on student learning outcomes is explored using concept understanding tests. The results of the research showed that: (1) The average percentage of students' conceptual understanding of friction material at the pre-cycle stage was 30% (less understanding); (2) The average percentage of students' conceptual understanding of friction material increased by 65% (misconceptions) after implementing the integration of STEAM and CT based on local wisdom (gasing); and (3) After carrying out reflection in cycle I, cycle II was carried out with the result that the average percentage of students' concept understanding increased by 85% (concept understanding).
