Abstract

Education is very important for humans in all aspects of their lives. Learning is an effort made deliberately by educators to convey knowledge, organize and create environmental systems using various methods so that students can carry out learning activities effectively and efficiently with optimal results. However, in reality, based on observations carried out by researchers at UPTD SDN 010131 Pulau Rakyat Tua, students in class V think that mathematics is difficult, teachers still use print media in learning, then the level of student concentration in learning is low, and students pay less attention to the teacher during the learning process. . Given the problems above, efforts need to be made to overcome them. The researcher developed different variations of technology-based learning media, namely Interactive Learning Media Assisted by Articulate Storyline 3. This research aims to determine student responses, determine the validity, practicality, effectiveness of the development of problem-based interactive learning media assisted by Articulate Storyline 3 to increase understanding of concepts in the collection material. and presenting data in class V at UPTD SDN 010131 Pulau Rakyat Tua. This research method uses research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. Data on the level of suitability of the media Interactive Learning Media Assisted by Articulate Storyline 3can be measured from the level of students' mastery of the material being taught with the results known as student responses based on the questionnaire given to all students, 29 students obtained a percentage of 81%. The results of the teacher's response to the media developed obtained a percentage of 94%. The validation results in the media study developed obtained a percentage of 83%. The validation results in the study of the material contained in the media developed obtained a percentage of 85%. Abstract

Learning independence is a learning program arrangement made by the organization in such a way that each student can choose and even determine their own learning materials and progress. Meanwhile, not all students are able to learn independently on their own accord without the help of others. This study aims to test the effectiveness of self-management techniques to improve learning independence of female students in grade VII of SMPIT Al Ghozali Jember. The research method used is an experiment with pretest-posttest one group design. The subjects of this study were 8 female students in grade VII who had low learning independence. Data analysis was carried out using the non-parametric Wiloxon sign rank test to measure the comparative hypothesis between two samples that correlate with ordinal data. The results of the study from the self-management technique were significantly effective in improving learning independence in students. Based on these results, students are already at the stage of being able to learn independently, but considering that learning independence is very important, it is necessary for students to always increase their priorities.

Abstract

Elections are a crucial pillar of democracy where citizens determine leaders through fair and transparent voting processes. Abroad, elections also receive special attention as they involve Indonesian citizens living in various countries. This study aims to evaluate the distribution of election logistics abroad, identify the hindering factors, and provide recommendations for improving the election logistics distribution process in the future. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach. The results show that the main challenges in the distribution of election logistics abroad include the large volume of logistics, delays in logistics delivery, and the scattered distribution of voters across various countries and regions. To overcome these challenges, improved coordination, careful planning, and enhanced competence of logistics management and implementation personnel are required.

Abstract

The 2019 General Election in Indonesia was one of the largest democratic events in the world, involving complex logistical scales and diverse distribution challenges. This article aims to analyze strategies for addressing logistical distribution obstacles in the 2019 election, focusing on geographical factors, infrastructure, human resources, as well as planning and supervision. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing secondary data from official reports of the General Election Commission (KPU), academic studies, and media publications. The findings reveal that the main challenges in election logistics distribution in Indonesia include limited access to remote areas, extreme weather conditions, and a lack of inter-agency coordination. Strategies implemented include optimizing information technology for logistics tracking, collaboration with security forces, and enhanced training and simulations for logistics personnel. However, weaknesses in post-election evaluation hinder improvements in the distribution system for future elections. This article recommends the development of infrastructure in remote areas, increased transparency in the distribution process, and the implementation of technology-based monitoring systems to improve the quality of election administration. This study is expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in designing more effective and efficient logistical distribution strategies for future elections.

Abstract

Election logistics management in Indonesia often faces challenges such as delivery delays, uneven distribution, and damaged equipment. This article aims to identify innovations in election logistics management that can enhance efficiency and public trust. Using a qualitative approach through literature studies and in-depth interviews, the study finds that implementing technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) has the potential to improve the effectiveness of election logistics distribution. Additionally, risk management based on the COSO ERM framework demonstrates benefits in reducing uncertainties and increasing distribution reliability. However, challenges related to infrastructure and inter-agency coordination remain barriers that need attention.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PBL) strategy is an innovative approach that is relevant to the Independent Curriculum, which aims to create meaningful learning, improve 21st-century skills, and support student character formation. This study aims to examine the relevance, implementation, and impact of PBL strategies on student learning outcomes, while exploring the potential for its development in various educational contexts. Through a descriptive qualitative method, this study analyzes the application of PBL in integrating various disciplines, the use of technology, and its application at both formal and non-formal education levels. The results of the study show that PBL makes a significant contribution to improving students' critical thinking skills, creativity, cooperation, and responsibility. In addition, this strategy has been proven to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum by encouraging students to be active, independent, and adaptive to real-world challenges. The potential for PBL development includes the integration of digital technology, expansion to community education, and enrichment of student character through cross-disciplinary projects. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of implementing PBL strategies as the main approach in creating holistic and transformative learning experiences. With the support of education policies, teacher training, and adequate facilities, PBL can be a strategic solution in building innovative and sustainable education. Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping a quality generation. To achieve this goal, Indonesia continues to strive to improve the quality of its education. One of the popular efforts is the implementation of School-Based Quality Improvement Management. (MP-MBS). This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing school-based quality improvement management and its impact on the quality of education at MA Plus Yanmu NW Praya. This type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman analysis technique, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Meanwhile, the data validity technique uses triangulation of techniques and triangulation of sources. The research results show that MA Plus Yanmu NW Praya has successfully implemented School-Based Quality Improvement Management (MPMBS) by integrating the government curriculum and pesantren curriculum, producing graduates who excel academically, are globally competitive, and possess Islamic character. Excellence in English and Arabic, supported by human resource management, facility upgrades, and technology, has become the main competitive edge. However, challenges such as curriculum integration, infrastructure, and time management are still being faced. To address this, the madrasah optimizes communication, teacher training, and facility improvements, strengthening its position as an excellent educational model and positively contributing to society.

Abstract

Curiosity plays a crucial role in children’s cognitive development, supporting exploration, creativity, and learning. However, low curiosity can hinder academic performance and reduce learning motivation. This research aims to develop a Project-Based Learning (PBL) textbook on the theme of clothing civilization to enhance curiosity in children aged 10 to 12. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, ten certified elementary school teachers from different regions participated in the needs analysis, and ten validators served as expert reviewers. A group of students also participated in a limited trial of the textbook on clothing civilization. The study’s findings reveal that: 1) The ADDIE model effectively guided the creation of a textbook aimed at fostering curiosity; 2) The textbook’s quality was rated “Very Good,” scoring an average of 3.57 out of 4, with no revisions needed; and 3) The textbook significantly impacted curiosity development (p < 0.05) with a large effect size (r = 0.91), equating to an 85% effectiveness rate. The effectiveness level is categorized as high, with an N gain score of 97.437%.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of dioramas as interactive tools in teaching Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) for Grade 5. The research seeks to understand how dioramas are implemented in the learning context and their impact on students' learning experiences. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of the use of dioramas with 29 students at SDN Panaragan 1. The findings indicate that dioramas enhance student engagement and facilitate a deeper understanding of IPAS concepts through a more visual and interactive approach. Dioramas help students develop critical and creative thinking skills and deepen their comprehension of the subject matter. The results provide insights into how dioramas can be more effectively integrated into IPAS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1). Menganalisis peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SDN Penggaron Kidul dalam memotivasi guru untuk meningkatkan kinerja mereka, (2). Mengidentifikasi perilaku organisasi pendidikan di SDN Penggaron Kidul yang berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja guru, (3). Menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat motivasi kerja guru di SDN Penggaron Kidul, dan (4). Mengkaji hubungan antara kepemimpinan, perilaku organisasi, dan motivasi kerja guru dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di SDN Penggaron Kidul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SDN Penggaron Kidul memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja guru, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan berupa inkonsistensi dalam pemberian penghargaan dan arahan. Kondisi ini menghambat potensi penciptaan komitmen organisasi yang optimal. Budaya kolaborasi antar-guru sebagai bagian dari perilaku organisasi sudah cukup baik, tetapi dukungan terhadap pengembangan profesional dan inovasi pembelajaran masih minim. Selain itu, keterbatasan fasilitas dan kurangnya pelatihan profesional menjadi hambatan utama yang memengaruhi implementasi metode pembelajaran inovatif. Hubungan antara kepemimpinan, perilaku organisasi, dan motivasi kerja terbukti berkontribusi langsung terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, seperti terlihat pada perbedaan signifikan tingkat partisipasi siswa antara kelas dengan metode inovatif dan konvensional.
