Abstract

The role of facilities or infrastructure in the field of education is to create a pleasant, conducive, and effective learning environment for teachers and students. The condition of facilities and infrastructure in Indonesia is still far from adequate, especially for remote areas. The facilities used in learning can include various things used in learning activities, such as computers, learning media, teaching aids, and so on. While the existence of the infrastructure itself is related to supporting facilities such as sports facilities, toilets, libraries, school rooms, and school buildings. The purpose of this writing is to provide analytical results related to basic education facilities and infrastructure and their problems. The research method used in this writing adopts a qualitative research method. The conclusion drawn through the explanation above is that the problems with facilities or infrastructure include poor physical conditions, distribution inequality, lack of maintenance, lack of modern learning facilities, and limited funds and budget. Based on this, it is necessary to make efforts to improve, including increasing the budget for basic education, involving the community and business world in the development of educational facilities, monitoring and evaluating periodically related to the condition of educational facilities, and evenly distributing assistance for facilities and infrastructure in regions in Indonesia, especially the 3T region.

Abstract

The quality of education is one of the key indicators of the success of educational institutions. However, in practice, many schools have yet to implement optimal management of their institutions, which impacts the quality of graduates that do not align with educational goals. This study aims to describe the implementation of management in improving the quality of education at SMP Mathlaul Anwar, Bandung Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation study. To ensure the validity of the collected data, a triangulation technique is employed. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The focus of this research includes planning, organizing, directing, and controlling, as well as the impact of management implementation on educational quality improvement. The results show that planning is conducted collaboratively through annual work meetings involving all school stakeholders; organizing is carried out through systematic and clear task distribution; directing is implemented through supervision and professional development of teachers; and controlling is done through regular evaluation of program implementation. These four management functions have proven to have a positive impact on improving educational quality, as reflected in increased teacher discipline, student learning outcomes, and parental involvement in school activities. The conclusion of this study indicates that structured and sustainable management implementation significantly influences the improvement of educational quality in schools.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve communication skills and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Cebongan 03 through the Problem-Based Learning model supported by Wordwall. The results showed a significant improvement in both aspects after two cycles of implementation. This model effectively fostered active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning. The percentage of students achieving the “very good” category in both communication skills and learning outcomes increased by 42.3%.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of reading e-books based on a contextual approach to the environmental care attitude of fourth grade elementary school students. This study is a quantitative study. The design of this study is a one group pretest-posttest design. Thus, it can be known more accurately, because it can be compared with being held before being treated. This study was conducted in SD Advent, SD YPK Kuprik and SD YPPK St. Fransiskus Xaverius 2 Merauke. Data collection techniques include tests, observations and documentation. The tests conducted include pretests and posttests. Quantitative data are pretest, posttest and N-gain scores, to determine how effective the application of local wisdom-based teaching materials is by looking at N-gain. The results of the study also showed that the pretest results of students' environmental awareness attitudes without using contextual approach-based reading teaching materials obtained a percentage of 47.25% with a category that was starting to be seen. The posttest results showed an increase in students' environmental awareness attitudes. Students' environmental awareness attitudes at the time of the posttest obtained a percentage of 82.42% with a category that had become a culture.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of animated video media to overcome the obstacles faced by Class III students of SDN Kademangan 2 in understanding Pancasila education materials. The learning media that have been used so far are less effective, making students bored. This study aims to create an interesting and interactive learning experience through animated video media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, specifically using the Borg and Gall development model which consists of six stages. The media and materials developed have been validated by appointed experts, including media, material, and learning experts, before being tested. The results of the study on class 3 students, namely animated video learning media, are very effective and very valid, as they get a score of 91% for media experts and 80% for material experts. The analysis of teacher responses produced a score of 95%. And there was a significant increase in student test scores from an average pretest score of 65.6 to an average posttest score of 97.3 after using learning media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan implementasi pendidikan multikultural melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dengan tema Kebhinekaan di sekolah dasar sebagai bagian dari Kurikulum Merdeka. Pendidikan multikultural penting diterapkan sejak dini agar peserta didik dapat menghargai perbedaan budaya, agama, bahasa, dan latar belakang sosial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan P5, seperti peragaan busana adat, permainan tradisional, dan pertunjukan seni budaya, mampu menumbuhkan sikap toleransi, kerja sama, dan rasa bangga terhadap keberagaman. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti kurangnya partisipasi orang tua dan kebutuhan khusus peserta didik, pihak sekolah mampu mengatasinya melalui pendekatan yang komunikatif dan inklusif. Secara keseluruhan, pelaksanaan P5 dengan tema Kebhinekaan terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila secara kontekstual dan membentuk karakter siswa yang menghargai perbedaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of optimizing educational funding sources in Islamic Integrated Elementary Schools (SDIT) through effective collaboration among three key stakeholders: parents, school foundation, and school committee. Financial limitations often hinder SDIT from maintaining educational quality and implementing various enrichment programs. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis in several SDIT across region Natar Lampung Selatan. The findings indicate that synergy among parents as primary contributors, foundations as institutional managers, and school committees as community representatives significantly enhances financial sustainability. Transparent budgeting, participatory planning, and innovative funding programs such as productive waqf, school cooperatives, and fundraising events emerged as effective models. The study recommends strengthening communication among stakeholders and improving financial management capacity based on Islamic financial principles to ensure long-term sustainability of educational funding in SDIT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas IV di SD Negeri Krikilan 1 Kecamatan Kalijambe Kabupaten Sragen Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025, serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dialami guru dalam penerapannya. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh dengan melakukan kegiatan wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap informan, yaitu guru kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan problem based learning dalam pembelajaran IPAS telah dilaksanakan di kelas IV dengan menyajikan masalah kepada siswa yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, selanjutnya siswa diarahkan untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut secara individu maupun berkelompok. (2) Terdapat kendala dalam penerapan problem based learning, yang menjadi penghambat yaitu beberapa siswa masih belum bisa kondusif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dikarenakan siswa tidak semangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hal tersebut terjadi karena factor kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk membangun semangat siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade elementary school students through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model supported by Wordwall media. The problem addressed in this research is the low achievement of students in the topic of length measurement. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 34 second-grade students. Each cycle included the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The primary instrument used was a multiple-choice test consisting of 10 questions. The results showed that the implementation of PBL with Wordwall media effectively improved students' mathematics learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, only 8 students (23.53%) met the Learning Objectives Achievement Criteria (KKTP) with an average score of 55.82. In the first cycle, the number of students who achieved mastery increased to 18 (52.94%) with an average score of 68.91. In the second cycle, 28 students (82.35%) achieved mastery with an average score of 78.65. The use of the PBL model combined with Wordwall media proved effective in creating meaningful and interactive learning, enhancing students’ understanding of length measurement concepts.

Abstract

Mathematics learning involves numerical skills, including multiplication. In elementary school, multiplication is typically taught in third grade. However, some fifth-grade students have not yet mastered multiplication, even though this skill is essential for understanding topics such as FPB and KPK, as well as other mathematical concepts. This study aims to examine the improvement in learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by jarimatika media in teaching FPB and KPK to fifth-grade students. This research employed Classroom Action Research using two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 23 students of class VD at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. The results showed that the application of the PBL model with jarimatika media improved the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students. In the first cycle, the students' mastery learning level reached 47.82%. In the second cycle, it increased significantly to 86.96%.
