Abstract

In order to enhance student learning outcomes and provide a more stimulating and productive learning environment, this study intends to create content-differentiated teaching materials based on the ADDIE instructional design approach. According to preliminary observations, the material's vocally presented and text-heavy structure made it difficult for students to understand and often caused disengagement. The researcher created animated videos and a flipbook as additional learning resources to solve this problem. The created materials' high to exceptional quality was validated by media and subject-matter experts. All participants in the implementation phase, which was conducted with 36 students in Class XI-6, successfully attained learning mastery. Formative assessments, which included a pre-test given via Quizizz, worksheets (LKPD), and a post-test, showed a significant increase in student performance. In summary, the content-differentiated teaching resources were found to be legitimate and successful in raising student performance and encouraging a more engaging and joyful learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the skills of conveying ideas of class VII students by applying the Debate learning model. Sampling in this study was carried out using the Simple Random Sampling technique with the One Group Pretest Posttest Control Design research design so that class VII-C was obtained as the sample of this study. The number of class VII-C students was 34 students. The method used in this study used the experimental method, to see the effect of the Debate learning model on the skills of conveying ideas. The research instrument was used through tests and perception questionnaires that had been validated by experts. The normality test showed that the data was normally distributed with the results of the significance of the pretest data 0.200> 0.05 and the posttest data 0.121> 0.05. The results showed that the average value of the questionnaire was 4.43 with a scale of 5, the results showed a very positive perception. The average result (Mean) of the pretest was 60.17 while the posttest was 81.35 which was included in the very good category. This shows that there was a significant increase with a difference of 21.18. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis conducted from the pretest and posttest, the t-value obtained was 7.888> t-table of 1.692 and significance (0.000 <0.05). This shows that the hypothesis H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that the use of the Debate learning model has an effect on the skills of conveying ideas of class VII students of SMP Santo Yoseph Medan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Quantum Writing learning model assisted by visual media on the poetry writing skills of Grade VIII students at SMP Swasta Maria Goretti Kabanjahe in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a post-test-only control group design with a sample of 64 students, divided into two groups: 32 students in the experimental class and 32 in the control class. The research instruments consisted of a test and a perception questionnaire, both of which were validated by experts. The normality test showed that the data were normally distributed (Significance = 0.062 > 0.05), and the homogeneity test indicated that the data were homogeneous (Significance = 0.072 > 0.05). The average score from the perception questionnaire was 4.60 on a 5-point scale, indicating a very positive perception. The average poetry writing score of the experimental group was 88.96, while the control group scored 65.43, resulting in a difference of 23.53 points. The theme of motivation was the most frequently chosen by students in the experimental class. The ANOVA test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant effect of the model on learning outcomes. Additionally, the t-test produced a t-value of 13.224, which is greater than the critical t-value of 1.696, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Quantum Writing model assisted by visual media has a positive and significant effect on improving students’ poetry writing skills.

Abstract

Beragamnya kecerdasan majemuk peserta didik menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi guru dalam mengelolah dan mengembangkan pembelajaran. Dalam proses pembelajaran guru dituntut untuk bisa mengakomodir semua semua kecerdasan majemuk peserta didik. Kecerdasan majemuk sendiri dikembangkan oleh Howard Gardner, seorang psikolog kognitif. Teori kecerdasan majemuk Gardner menekankan bahwa setiap orang memiliki keunik dalam memahami materi pelajaran, ia juga berpendapat bahwa kecerdasan dapat dikembangkan dan ditingkatkan melalui pengalaman dan pembelajaran. Agar proses pembelajaran bisa memfasilitasi semua kecerdasan majemuk peserta didik, maka guru harus mengembangkan pembelajaran berdasarkan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik. Namun tentu itu bukanlah perkara yang mudah. Salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru adalah dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pembelajaran yang dalam prosesnya menjadikan peserta didik sebagi subjek utama dalam pembelajaran. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat mengakomodasi berbagai jenis kecerdasan majemuk peserta didik dan meningkatkan motivasi serta partisipasi mereka dalam pembelajaran. Guru menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang beragam untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar peserta didik yang berbeda-beda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan kecerdasan majemuk melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar peserta didik yang beragam. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif dan berbasis pada kecerdasan majemuk peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on students' ability to transform hikayat into modern short stories. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method and used a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 31 students from class X-2 at SMA Santo Petrus Medan in the academic year 2024/2025. The instruments used were tests (pretest and posttest) and a student perception questionnaire, both validated by experts. The normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.60 > 0.05 for the pretest and 0.75 > 0.05 for the posttest. The average pretest score was 64.22, which increased to 82.25 in the posttest, showing a gain of 18.03 points. The questionnaire results showed an average score of 4.4 out of 5, categorized as very high, indicating a highly positive response from students. The t-test analysis revealed that the t-count (8.027) was greater than the t-table (1.697), with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, which indicates that the guided inquiry learning model significantly affects students’ ability to transform hikayat into short stories.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) provide an overview of the school principal's academic supervision in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (2) provide an overview of teachers' work motivation in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (3) provide an overview of teachers' performance in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (4) analyze the influence of the school principal's academic supervision on the performance of teachers in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (5) analyze the influence of work motivation on the performance of teachers in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (6) analyze the combined influence of academic supervision and work motivation on the performance of teachers in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational research design. The study was conducted at five schools in Tamalatea District, Jeneponto Regency, namely UPT SMP Negeri 1 Tamalatea, UPT SMP Negeri 2, UPT SMP Negeri 3, UPT SMP Negeri 4 Tamalatea, and UPT SMP Negeri 5. The results show that: The school principal's academic supervision in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District is rated very good by teachers and has a positive impact on their performance. Teachers' work motivation is also high, with slight variation, indicating a supportive professional development environment. Teachers' performance is in the good category, although some teachers are in the moderate and low categories. Academic supervision and work motivation play a significant role in improving the quality of teachers' performance. Academic supervision contributes 29.2% to teachers' performance, while work motivation contributes 47.9%. Multiple regression analysis shows that academic supervision and work motivation together have a significant influence of 49.7% on teachers' performance.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic planning model implemented at SMPN Satu Atap Pasirmunjul to prevent gadget addiction among junior high school students. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with case study methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research found that the Digital Sehat Program was designed collaboratively between school leaders, teachers, students, and parents. The program includes vision formulation, team structuring, SOP development, student digital ambassadors, educational activities, counseling services, and extracurricular engagement. The strategic planning process is responsive to the local context and prioritizes preventive, educational, and character-building approaches. Although the evaluation system remains basic, the program demonstrates potential for sustainability and replication. The school succeeded in fostering a digital culture that promotes balanced and responsible gadget use among students. Abstract

This research aims to describe the validity and practicality of interactive PowerPoint media. This research is R&D (Research and Development) research. The research model used is ADDIE with five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection instruments used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data collection uses validity and practicality analysis. The validation results from material of experts received a value of 87%. The validation results from media experts received a value of 90% with a validity category. In the results of the student response, students got a value of 93.58%, while the results of the teacher's response got a score of 100% in the practicality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by snakes and ladders media on the collaboration skills of junior high school students in the digital era. The TGT model groups students heterogeneously and uses tournaments as a medium for healthy competition, so it is considered effective in improving collaboration skills, one of the 21st century skills that is very much needed in the world of work and social life. This study used a quantitative design with a sample of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 18 Malang who were selected by random sampling. Data on student collaboration skills were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the average collaboration skills of students taught with the TGT model assisted by snakes and ladders media reached 78.13% (good category), and the paired sample t-test obtained a significance of 0.000 (<0.05), so it can be concluded that the TGT type cooperative learning model assisted by snakes and ladders media has a significant effect in improving students' collaboration skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas VA SD Inpres Oebobo 2. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, pengujian, dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui lembar observasi dan lembar tes. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 24 siswa, terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Pada siklus I, sebanyak 10 siswa (41,66%) mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Mereka aktif dalam menjawab pertanyaan, berdiskusi, dan memperhatikan penjelasan guru. Sementara itu, 14 siswa (58,33%) belum tuntas karena kurang percaya diri, tidak fokus saat pembelajaran, dan kurang aktif dalam kerja kelompok. Pada siklus II, hasil belajar meningkat signifikan, di mana seluruh siswa (100%) mencapai ketuntasan. Siswa mulai aktif bertanya dan menjawab, memperhatikan penjelasan guru, bekerja sama dalam kelompok, menyimpulkan materi, dan mengerjakan evaluasi dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas VA SD Inpres Oebobo 2.
