Abstract

Peran seorang guru memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan proses pembelajaran dalam menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan. Peran guru tersebut meliputi berbagai aspek seperti pengelolaan kurikulum, penggunaan metode, dan pemanfaatan media ajar, khususnya dalam pembelajaran seni musik, seperti musik gamelan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran musik gamelan di SMPN 12 Semarang untuk menanamkan nilai kerja sama pada siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan landasan pedagogik, psikologi anak, dan musikologi. Analisis data penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran guru merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar musik gamelan mencakup aspek kepribadian, proses, motivasi dan produk. Selain itu, nilai-nilai dalam kerja sama diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Nilai-nilai ini sangat relevan dan sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah Indonesia dalam memperkuat pendidikan karakter di tingkat sekolah.

Abstract

Learning motivation is an important element in the success of the educational process, especially in learning Social Sciences (IPS) which is often considered monotonous and irrelevant by students. This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of Do or Learn Card learning media based on gamification integrated with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach to increase student learning motivation. This media is designed to provide a fun, participatory learning experience that is in accordance with the cultural background of students. The CRT approach is used to ensure that learning strategies value diversity and accommodate different learning styles. This study uses a development method based on the Design Thinking framework involving five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The results of the study show that the use of this media has a significant impact on increasing student learning motivation, as indicated by the results of the pretest and posttest as well as positive responses from the satisfaction questionnaire.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on the critical thinking skills of class IV A students at SDN 2 Latihan SPG Ambon. In this study, there was a low level of critical thinking skills in students due to the teaching and learning process still using conventional learning models, which do not support the development of students' critical thinking skills. The problem based learning model is a solution to improve the critical thinking skills of class IV A students at SDN 2 Latihan SPG Ambon. With this model, students will be accustomed to facing various problems and finding solutions through in-depth discussions and explorations. The method used is quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was all 26 class IVA students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests (pretest and posttest), and documentation. The instruments were tested for validity and reliability before being used. The method used in this writing is to apply the paired sample t test to test the hypothesis and the N-gain test to assess the effect of the learning model. Based on the results of data analysis conducted by researchers with the help of SPSS, it can be concluded; (1) For the paired sample t test, the sig. value was obtained. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 where H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted so that it can be seen that there is an average difference between the pre-test and post-test results which means that the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills. (2) For the N-gain test results, a score of 0.8479 was obtained, meaning that the level of learning by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is in the high category to improve the critical thinking skills of class IV A students at SDN 2 Latihan SPG Ambon.

Abstract

The application of humanist learning theory in the implementation of strengthening the Pancasila (P5) class 5 student profile project at SDN 08 Paser Belengkong, is still facing problems. This problem occurs because teachers do not understand how to plan learning tools to apply humanist principles in P5 learning. The aim of the research is to determine the application of humanist learning principles after the teacher held a focus group discussion with the researcher and together with the researcher planned learning tools with a humanist approach. The research method is qualitative research with teacher, student and school principal respondents. The determination of respondents, namely purposive sampling, was based on the research objectives. Snowball sampling occurs through involving participants according to respondents. The research procedure begins with the researcher compiling instruments and learning tools by applying humanist principles, carrying out the research using interview and observation techniques. Data analysis through coding, data reduction, data display, temporary conclusions and final conclusions that occurred during the interview process. The research results obtained from teacher respondents had prepared, implemented and evaluated the application of learning using humanist principles. Student respondents have prepared, implemented and produced performance in the form of simple P5 projects related to Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and school principal respondents have facilitated the preparation, implementation and evaluation of P5 learning implementation so that students produce project performance related to Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of character education in fostering student independence in schools through the integration of a curriculum that instills character values such as discipline, responsibility, and honesty. Based on a literature review of articles published between 2020 and 2025, it was found that well-structured character education can enhance student independence by strengthening their sense of responsibility and ability to make independent decisions. Additionally, character education contributes to the development of positive social behavior, including increased empathy and interpersonal skills among students. However, challenges in implementing character education in practice, particularly related to teacher training and family support, remain significant barriers. This study recommends that schools adopt project-based approaches that integrate character values into learning, as well as strengthen collaboration between schools, families, and communities. The findings also suggest the need for further research on the role of technology in supporting character education and the development of student independence.

Abstract

The transition to the Merdeka Curriculum requires teachers in primary schools to change their way of thinking and teaching techniques. This curriculum focuses on learning that is tailored to student needs, project-based, and reinforces the values of the Pancasila Student Profile, which requires high skills and independence from teachers. Through descriptive quantitative analysis with questionnaires, it was found that in terms of cognitive, 80% of teachers were in the highly prepared category, 11.11% slightly prepared, and 8.89% less prepared. Meanwhile, in terms of practical and professional aspects, 73.33% of teachers were very prepared, 6.67% were slightly prepared, and 20% were less prepared. This finding shows that the majority of teachers have understood the direction of the curriculum change and are willing to implement it at school. However, there are still challenges such as the lack of training, inadequate facilities and an incomplete understanding of the curriculum structure. These results emphasize the importance of teacher readiness and the need for support through training and continuous professional development to ensure the successful implementation of Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the Learning Cycle 9E instructional model on students abilities in solving mathematical problems, to assess the impact of varying levels of self-confidence (high, medium, low) on these abilities, and to explore the interaction effect between the Learning Cycle 9E model and self confidence on students mathematical problem solving skills. This study employed a quasi experimental design. The population comprised eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Cluster random sampling was applied as the sampling method. Data collection involved administering a mathematical problem-solving test and a self-confidence questionnaire. Hypothesis testing was conducted using two-way ANOVA. The findings of the study indicate that (1) the Learning Cycle 9E instructional model significantly influences students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities; (2) different levels of self-confidence (high, medium, low) affect students’ skills in solving mathematical problems; and (3) there is a significant interaction between the Learning Cycle 9E model and self-confidence in shaping students’ mathematical problem-solving performance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of strategic planning in the development of the Islamic Education Management (MPI) undergraduate study program at STIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah, Bandung. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with data triangulation techniques (observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis), the study reveals that strategic planning was carried out through SWOT analysis and stakeholder involvement in formulating vision and mission. The implementation stage included curriculum revision, faculty training, and quality assurance supervision. Strategic evaluation was conducted through internal audits and national accreditation mechanisms, applying the PDCA cycle. The study found that the program has succeeded in integrating strategic management principles with Islamic values, enabling the institution to remain adaptive, accountable, and spiritually grounded. This research contributes both conceptually and practically to the governance of Islamic higher education, especially for private Islamic colleges (PTKIS) that face similar institutional challenges. Abstract

The effectiveness of the approach and curriculum development in Indonesia can affect the teaching and learning process. With the passage of time, the curriculum often emphasizes the cognitive realm such as the KTSP curriculum, the 2013 curriculum, the competency-based curriculum, and the independent curriculum. The curriculum approach can be the initial process of preparing the curriculum to be in accordance with existing provisions. For the development of the curriculum itself, a series of activities ranging from identifying needs to the preparation and presentation of learning materials by the development team. But unfortunately, there are still teachers who have difficulty implementing the existing curriculum. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of education, curriculum development must be carried out to find out the principles of effective curriculum development for the quality of learning. Through the library research method, researchers found that developing a curriculum can help develop students' abilities, teacher competence, and increase educational relevance. The curriculum developed not only increases the effectiveness of learning, but also creates an education system that is more adaptive to changes and societal needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bisa mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan manipulatif siswa kelas V di SDN 009 Long Kali melalui penerapan dari teori belajar kognitif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK). Dalam memahami sebuah informasi, memecahkan suatu masalah, serta menghubungkan pengetahuan dengan pengalaman yang sebelumnya, teori belajar kognitif menekankan keterlibatan aktif dari peserta didik. Dalam pembelajaran PJOK, pendekatan ini dipakai untuk siswa agar tidak sekadar meniru gerakan secara mekanis. Fokus utama juga adalah pemahaman konsep yang mendasari gerakan tersebut. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta lembar penilaian keterampilan. Menurut hasil penelitian, keterampilan manipulatif siswa seperti melempar, menangkap, menendang, serta memukul mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan setelah penerapan dari pembelajaran berbasis teori kognitif. Sikap positif siswa ditunjukkan pula dalam kegiatan belajar PJOK, selain partisipasi aktif serta pemahaman konsep gerak yang meningkat. Hasil ini selaras dengan teori kognitif. Teori tersebut menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran bermakna itu terjadi pada saat siswa aktif membangun pengetahuan untuk dirinya sendiri. Sebagai upaya meningkatkan kompetensi motorik beserta kognitif siswa secara bersamaan, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan pendekatan kognitif secara lebih luas di dalam pembelajaran PJOK.
