Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in the learning of Science on the material of Indonesian Cultural Wealth in the North Sumatra Region to measure the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of MIS Al Washliyah Arapayung. This research is a development research (Research and Development). This study uses a 4D development model which is an extension of Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The results of the validation/feasibility of E-LKPD from input from material experts, namely lecturers, got a score of 89% from 13 statements and the results of the validation/feasibility of E-LKPD experts, namely lecturers, got a score of 89% from 13 statements. The practicality of E-LKPD based on teacher responses got a score of 92% from 13 statements. The effectiveness of E-LKPD based on student responses got a score of 91% from 6 statements consisting of 16 students. From the validation results data, practicality and effectiveness, the development of E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in the learning of Science on the material of Indonesian Cultural Wealth in the North Sumatra Region is declared Very Valid or suitable for use as teaching material in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai taqarrub ilallah (pendekatan diri kepada Allah) dalam pemikiran Abu Abdurrahman As-Sulami, seorang tokoh sufi abad ke-4 Hijriah yang dikenal melalui karya-karya monumental seperti Ṭabaqāt al-Ṣūfiyyah, Ādāb al-Ṣuḥbah, dan Zuhd al-Ṣūfiyyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) terhadap teks-teks klasik tasawuf As-Sulami. Data diperoleh melalui studi pustaka dengan tahapan pengumpulan, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi makna spiritual yang terkandung dalam karya-karyanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep taqarrub menurut As-Sulami dibangun atas lima nilai utama, yaitu ikhlas, zuhud, mujahadah, muraqabah, dan tawakal. Nilai-nilai tersebut mencerminkan proses penyucian jiwa (tazkiyatun nafs) dan pembentukan kedekatan eksistensial dengan Allah SWT. Selain itu, pemikiran As-Sulami memiliki relevansi signifikan terhadap penguatan pendidikan spiritual Islam di era modern, khususnya dalam pembinaan karakter religius dan kesadaran transendental umat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa taqarrub dalam perspektif As-Sulami bukan hanya dimensi ritual, tetapi merupakan jalan penyempurnaan diri menuju ma’rifatullah.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of adaptive learning strategies for deaf children (ABK Tunarungu) in inclusive school environments. Inclusive education emphasizes the right of every child to learn together, but often the challenge of adapting curriculum and communication methods is a major obstacle for deaf students. This qualitative case study research was conducted at the Education Office of SLB NEGERI AUTIS, Medan City, with regular class teachers, special guidance teachers (GPK), and deaf students as subjects. The results indicate that the most effective adaptive strategy is a combination of Total Communication, the extensive use of visual-kinesthetic media, and a structured Individual Learning Program (PPI). The discussion concludes the need to improve teacher competency in Sign Language and provide adequate assistive technology to maximize the academic and social potential of deaf ABK in inclusive schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap implementasi Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam evaluasi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di SMPN 2 Pasawahan, Kabupaten Purwakarta. Narasumber penelitian meliputi dua guru IPA (G1 dan G2), kepala sekolah (KS), serta dua siswa kelas VIII (S1 dan S2). PBL dianggap sebagai model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus digunakan untuk memahami secara mendalam pengalaman, pandangan, tantangan, dan keunggulan penerapan PBL. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi kelas, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama dalam penerapan PBL meliputi keterbatasan waktu, manajemen kelompok, kesiapan guru, serta fasilitas sekolah, sebagaimana diungkapkan oleh G1, G2, dan KS. Meskipun demikian, PBL memberikan keunggulan signifikan, termasuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, pemahaman konsep IPA secara kontekstual, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan literasi sains, sebagaimana dialami dan dijelaskan oleh S1 dan S2. Strategi optimalisasi PBL melibatkan perencanaan masalah yang relevan, manajemen kelompok yang seimbang, motivasi aktif dari guru, serta dukungan fasilitas dan pelatihan dari pihak sekolah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi PBL bergantung pada sinergi antara guru, siswa, dan institusi pendidikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi guru, siswa, dan sekolah dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis proyek serta mendukung tercapainya profil pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Self-Directed Learning (SDL) model on students’ learning motivation at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara. SDL is considered an approach that allows students to set goals, manage strategies, and reflect on their learning process, thereby strengthening intrinsic motivation. The study employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design, involving one experimental and one control class. Data were collected through observation questionnaires on learning motivation during the learning process. Instrument testing confirmed validity and reliability with a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.873. The data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The t-test showed a value of 3.421 with a p-value of 0.001 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The experimental group achieved a higher mean score (82.15) compared to the control group (74.32). These findings support Knowles’ SDL concept and Deci and Ryan’s Self-Determination Theory, which highlight autonomy and competence as key factors for intrinsic motivation. The study concludes that SDL is effective at the secondary school level, and teachers are encouraged to act as facilitators who foster students’ learning independence

Abstract

School principal leadership management is important in the process of managing and leading school resources to improve teacher competence and learning quality effectively through planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising carried out by the principal in improving teachers' pedagogical competence at SD Negeri 021 Sungai Kunjang, Samarinda City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and other related parties. Data analysis was carried out interactively through stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To maintain data validity, the researcher used source triangulation and technique triangulation techniques. The results of the study show: 1) The principal's leadership planning in improving teachers' pedagogical competence by collecting data from teacher performance evaluations. 2) Organization is carried out through a clear division of tasks, coordination with school partners, and the empowerment of senior teachers as mentors to support teacher professional development, 3) Implementation includes technical guidance programs, in-house training, learning communities, webinars, and independent training on the Merdeka Mengajar platform, supported by regular academic supervision. 4) Supervision in the form of monitoring and evaluation is carried out periodically through classroom observation, evaluation meetings, monitoring, and constructive feedback for continuous improvement of the teacher competency improvement program. The principal actively provides guidance and supervision, and develops a data-based evaluation system for a more effective teacher competency development program

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain and Create (RADEC) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia UPT SDN 11 Kalukalukuang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV UPT SDN 11 Kalukalukuang yang berjumlah sebanyak 24 siswa yang terdiri dari 15 laki-laki dan 9 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Radec untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca dapat dilakukan pada pretest dengan nilai rata-rata 67,08 dan mengalami peningkatan hasil posttest dengan nilai rata-rata 85,83. Sehingga terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari hasil pretest ke posttest. Hal ini diikuti dengan penerapan model Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain and Create (RADEC) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia kelas IV UPT SDN 11 Kalukalukuang.

Abstract

Rendahnya semangat belajar pada bidang studi sejarah, khususnya materi Kebudayaan Hindu-Buddha di kelas X MA Bustanul Ulum 03 Kasiyan Timur, menjadi tantangan utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan belajar yang masih fokus pada peran guru menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dan tampak kurang bersemangat saat mengikuti pelajaran. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, digunakan model pembelajaran Window Shopping dengan dukungan media gambar guna menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa. penelitian menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan campuran, yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, serta refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dari 58% pada pratindakan menjadi 68% pada siklus I, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 82% pada siklus II. Siswa terlihat lebih aktif, antusias, dan berani dalam mengemukakan pendapatnya selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Model Window Shopping berbantuan media gambar efektif menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan, Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Window Shopping yang dipadukan dengan media gambar dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan strategi pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar. Kata kunci: Window Shopping, media gambar, motivasi belajar, pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

Elementary school is a crucial stage in shaping children's character. At this age, they are in the golden age of moral and social development. Amid the strong current of globalization and rapid technological advancement, students are easily exposed to foreign cultures. Character education, especially the value of patriotism, serves as a shield to ensure that students maintain a sense of pride, care, and responsibility toward their nation. This study examines the implementation and analyzes the role of extracurricular dance activities in instilling patriotism among fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the extracurricular dance activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun are implemented through three consistent stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation with reflection. These activities do not merely focus on movement skills but also provide students with an understanding of the background, cultural values, and meanings of each traditional dance taught. The dance materials are carefully selected based on students’ backgrounds, abilities, and interests, and are delivered gradually using a contextual approach in an enjoyable learning environment. This activity plays a strategic role in instilling the character of patriotism through three aspects: introducing the nation's cultural richness, fostering pride in traditional dance, and forming a commitment to preserve cultural heritage. This role is clearly reflected in students’ changes in attitude, showing pride, enthusiasm, and awareness of the importance of preserving Indonesian culture. Thus, the internalization of patriotism values can occur naturally and effectively. Keywords: extracurricular, dance, character, love of the homeland, elementary school students

Abstract

This community service activity is entitled “Training for Elementary School Teachers in Designing Meaningful Learning Based on Deep Learning in the Merdeka Curriculum at SPF SDN Sumanna Makassar.” The purpose of this program is to enable elementary school teachers to design meaningful learning based on deep learning in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. The specific objectives of this activity are: (1) to develop a deep understanding among teachers about the concept of deep learning within the Merdeka Curriculum, (2) to enable teachers to design meaningful learning experiences that foster students’ critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative thinking skills, and (3) to produce examples of teaching materials or learning modules that implement the principles of deep learning. The implementation method of this activity consists of two main parts: (1) delivering materials related to the concept of deep learning in the Merdeka Curriculum and meaningful learning design, and (2) providing mentoring and practical sessions to assist teachers in designing teaching materials and learning activities based on deep learning. The community service was carried out through four main stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection.
