Abstract

This study aims to explore the various forms of immoral conduct and identify the contributing factors behind such behavior among inmates at the Class I Correctional Facility in Makassar. The research is prompted by the growing incidence of immoral acts within society, as reflected in the number of individuals currently incarcerated at the facility for such offenses. Employing a qualitative research approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The subjects of this study consist of inmates convicted of offenses categorized as immoral acts. The findings reveal that the primary forms of immoral behavior include sexual intercourse, acts of indecency, and rape. Furthermore, the underlying causes of such conduct are classified into internal and external factors. Internal factors encompass a lack of religious and moral foundation, as well as emotional and psychological instability. External factors include romantic relationships, familial disapproval, and negative influences from the surrounding social environment. This study underscores the need for a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted nature of immoral behavior to inform prevention strategies and rehabilitative efforts within correctional institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menanggulangi dekadensi moralitas siswa di UPT SD Negeri 343 Gresik, Dusun Cokel Desa Patar Selamat, bermula dari kenyataan bahwa modernisasi dan akses teknologi telah memicu pergeseran nilai terlihat dari ucapan tidak sopan kepada guru, ketidakpatuhan terhadap aturan, hilangnya semangat belajar, dan perkelahian antar siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah menggambarkan kondisi moral siswa, mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab, serta menganalisis strategi guru PAI dalam menanggulanginya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif lapangan dengan purposive sampling; data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru PAI, guru kelas, dan beberapa siswa, serta dokumentasi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan guru PAI menjalankan empat strategi utama: pembinaan intensif dan cepat tanggap terhadap gejala pelanggaran, komunikasi dan kerja sama aktif dengan sekolah dan orang tua, peran sebagai motivator untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar, dan keteladanan yang mengintegrasikan ajaran agama ke dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa intervensi guru efektif apabila didukung kesinambungan peran keluarga dan pengendalian akses media digital. Implikasi penelitian menyarankan penguatan program pendidikan karakter berbasis PAI, peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua, alokasi waktu agama yang lebih memadai, serta pengembangan literasi digital untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang membentuk akhlak mulia pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) mentransformasi pengelolaan kinerja guru di sekolah dasar. Transformasi digital dalam manajemen pendidikan menuntut adanya sistem yang efektif, efisien, dan akuntabel dalam mengelola data kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di SDN 010 Samarinda Seberang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SIM melalui platform Ruang GTK yang terintegrasi dengan ASN Digital telah mengubah sistem penilaian kinerja guru dari proses manual menjadi digital yang lebih terstruktur, cepat, dan transparan. Transformasi ini meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam penyusunan Sasaran Kinerja Pegawai (SKP), memperkuat akuntabilitas penilaian, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data oleh kepala sekolah. Selain itu, keberhasilan implementasi SIM sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat literasi digital guru dan kesiapan infrastruktur teknologi sekolah. Dengan demikian, penerapan SIM tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat administratif, tetapi juga sebagai strategi manajerial untuk mewujudkan tata kelola sekolah dasar yang modern dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of digital literacy and learning independence on learning outcomes in the Digital Branding subject among Grade XI Digital Business students at SMK Negeri 6 Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto method. The sample consisted of the entire population, totaling 67 students, who were all selected as respondents (total sampling). The research instruments included a digital literacy questionnaire, a learning independence questionnaire, and documentation of students’ learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS version 25. The results showed that digital literacy had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes (sig. = 0.015 < 0.05), learning independence also had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes (sig. = 0.008 < 0.05), and simultaneously, both digital literacy and learning independence had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.640. This means that 64% of the variation in learning outcomes can be explained by digital literacy and learning independence, while the remaining 36% is influenced by other factors outside the study, such as family environment, learning facilities, and peer environment. These findings confirm that good digital literacy and high learning independence contribute significantly to optimal learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare pension fund actuarial liabilities using three approaches: Attained Age Normal (AAN), Entry Age Normal (EAN), and Individual Level Premium (ILP). Using hypothetical participant profile data, manual simulations were conducted to calculate pension benefits and liabilities arising from each method. The analysis results indicate differences in liability values ​​and financing patterns between the methods, reflecting the characteristics and underlying assumptions of each approach. This study provides a comparative overview that can be used as a reference in selecting a pension fund valuation method that aligns with institutional needs and policies.

Abstract

The role of communication in improving the organizational performance of the Education Technology Study Program Student Association at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar is the subject of this research. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Effective communication, both vertical and horizontal, significantly affects organizational performance, especially in terms of coordinating activities, resolving conflicts, and achieving organizational goals. The results showed that effective communication, both vertically (between leaders and members) and horizontally (between fields and among members), had a significant effect on organizational performance. Open and participatory communication encourages more efficient coordination of activities, minimizes internal conflicts, and accelerates the achievement of common goals.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology presents a complex problem in the form of the incompatibility of conventional learning models with the learning characteristics of Generation Z who are digital, multitasking, and require a flexible and interactive approach. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Micro Learning Modular technology as a strategic innovation in adapting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning for Generation Z. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature review. Data were obtained through analysis of various scientific literature, indexed articles, academic books, and current education policies. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis through theme categorization, theory synthesis, and triangulation of sources and theories to strengthen the validity of the study results. The results show that Micro Learning Modular increases the effectiveness, efficiency, and engagement of students in STEM learning by fragmenting material into small, flexible and interactive units. This approach strengthens students' critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy. In addition, this model supports independent learning and personalized learning that is appropriate to the characteristics of Generation Z. However, implementation in Indonesia still faces challenges such as limited teacher digital literacy, technological infrastructure, and suboptimal policy support. The novelty of this research lies in the development of an integrative model that combines STEM principles with Modular Micro Learning strategies digitally and contextually, to build an adaptive, collaborative learning ecosystem aligned with the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.

Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the extent to which slang language on social media and the intensity of social media usage influence Indonesian language proficiency among senior high school students. Social media serves as the primary communication medium for teenagers in the digital era, where slang and the intensity of using cyber language can affect their linguistic competence. The research employed a qualitative method using a case study approach, with data collected from students in several high schools in Indonesia. Data collection methods included in-depth interviews, participant observation, and analysis of students’ social media content. The findings reveal that the use of harsh slang and excessive social media usage can disrupt students’ use of formal Indonesian language in speaking and writing. The study also found that students who frequently use slang and heavily engage with social media face challenges in understanding and expressing complex concepts in Indonesian. However, the study also indicates that appropriate use of slang can enrich students’ vocabulary and creativity in language use. This research highlights the importance of proper use of both slang and standard Indonesian, as well as proportional time management in social media use. The findings are discussed in relation to the responsibilities of teachers and parents in guiding students toward appropriate and wise language use on social media, as well as the role of educational policies in developing students’ comprehensive linguistic competence. This study provides insights into the dynamics of youth language use and outlines areas for further research on this topic.

Abstract

The digital technology transformation has brought significant changes to the field of education, including at the elementary school level. This study aims to explore students’ perceptions and the challenges faced by schools in utilizing digital media for learning at SDN 01 Plelen, which his located in a rural area with limited technological infrastructure. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews with class II students and teachers. The results show that the majority of students demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive perception toward digital media, particularly in terms of motivation and understanding of the material. Meanwhile, teachers acknowledge that digital media can enhance the effectiveness of learning but still face challenges such as limited devices, internet access, and the need for technical training. This study recommends improving infrastructure, providing teacher training, and ensuring ongoing technical support to optimize the implementation of digital media in elementary schools, especially in areas with limited access to technology.

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to prevent bullying through regular counseling programs at SDN 1 Toya, identify the obstacles encountered, and find solutions to overcome them. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects including classroom teachers, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, psychology teachers, the school principal, and students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that prevention efforts are carried out through individual counseling, group counseling, and character-building workshops/training. The obstacles identified include limited time, lack of teacher understanding, students' low confidence to report incidents, and external environmental influences. Proposed solutions include teacher training, provision of comfortable counseling spaces, parent involvement, flexible scheduling, and ensuring confidentiality for student reporters. This study concludes that regular counseling programs can serve as an effective strategy for bullying prevention, even though the school does not yet have a dedicated school counselor.
