Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V B di MI Ad-Da’wah. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V B. Observasi awal di kelas V B MI Ad-Da’wah mengidentifikasi masalah seperti kurangnya antusiasme siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa kurang fokus dalam proses pembelajaran, dan pengelolaan kelas yang kurang efektif, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan kelas V A dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 orang dan kelas V B dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 orang. Jadi, total 54 siswa. Dalam hal ini kelas V B sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive sampling dengan Teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner (angket) untuk variabel pengelolaan kelas dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian bersasarkan uji parsial (uji-t) diperoleh bahwa signifikansi ɑ 0,001 < 0,05 dengan nilai thitung sebesar 4,718 > nilai ttabel sebesar 2,060 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Koefisien determinasi dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0,471. Maka sebesar 47,1% pengelolaan kelas memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa, sementara 52,9% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the dimensions of mutual cooperation contained inchildren's stories entitled Odi' Neng Polo Buja which is a story by Ridwan consistingof two languages, namely Madurese and Indonesian, as one of the media to be usedin learning. The method used in this study is qualitative with content analysismethods and data collection techniques in the form of literature studies,documentation and data analysis. Based on the results of the research that hasbeen carried out, it was found that in the children's story entitled Odi' Neng PoloBuja, there are several dimensions of mutual cooperation, namely the elements ofcollaboration, sharing, and care. In the story of Odi' Neng Polo Buja, there isbehavior that reflects the attitude of mutual cooperation. The dimension of mutualcooperation in the child's story can be seen from the attitude ofcollaboration/cooperation carried out by Iping, Inung and his friend when helpingtheir father Iping harvest salt in the pond.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors hindering the beginning reading learningprocess for 2nd-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Peresak. Reading ability is afundamental skill in the learning process, yet many students face difficulties. Thisstudy uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to identify and deeplydescribe these hindering factors. Data was collected through observation,interviews, and documentation involving students, teachers, and the principal. Theresults of the study show that the hindering factors include internal aspects of thestudents, such as low learning interest, lack of motivation, and visual problems, aswell as external factors like less varied teaching methods, lack of parental support,and an unconducive learning environment. The implications of this study highlightthe importance of collaboration between the school and parents to create asupportive learning environment and to develop more innovative teaching strategiesto improve students' reading abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using mind mapping in grade IV students of SD Negeri 064970 in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), The design of this study uses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The subjects of this study were grade IV students of SD Negeri 064970 consisting of 25 students. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes, namely in cycle I by 72.60% (good category), then in cycle II it increased to 83.80% (very good category). This means that there was an increase of 11.20%. Thus, the use of Canva-Based Mind Mapping as a Learning Media can improve learning outcomes in Grade IV Science, My Indonesia is Rich in Culture, at SD Negeri 064970.

Abstract

This study aims to develop media math educational games for grade IVelementary school students and test its feasibility and effectiveness in improvingunderstanding of the concept of fractions. The background of this research is thelow interest of students in learning and difficulty in understanding the material, sothat interactive and fun media is needed. The method used is Research andDevelopment (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design,Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjectsinvolved material experts, media experts, class teachers, and students. Theresults of material expert validation obtained a score of 98.6% in the “veryfeasible” category, while media expert validation reached 90% in the “veryfeasible” category. Phase I small group test resulted in 85% (category “veryinteresting”), while phase II increased to 96.7% (category “very interesting”). Theresults of implementation showed that the educational game media was able toincrease learning motivation, student involvement, and better understanding offraction concepts. Thus, the educational game media developed is declared veryfeasible and effective for use in learning mathematics elementary schools, and canbe an alternative learning innovation to create a more meaningful and enjoyablelearning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the implementation of classroom management byteachers in Arabic language instruction for sixth-grade students at Sekolah DasarIslam Karawang and to explore the challenges faced in its application. Thebackground of this research is based on the reality that Arabic language learning atthe elementary school level still encounters various obstacles, particularly becauseArabic is not the students’ everyday language. This research employed a qualitativeapproach with a descriptive method, allowing the researcher to gain an in-depthunderstanding of the strategies applied by teachers in managing the classroom.Data were collected through direct classroom observation, in-depth interviews withteachers and students, and documentation analysis related to the learning process.The findings indicate that teachers employ different classroom managementstrategies tailored to the characteristics and activity levels of the students. For activestudents, teachers provide group activities, discussions, and educational games tochannel their energy and enhance participation. Meanwhile, for less active students,teachers use more structured learning approaches, such as individual guidance andclear assignments. The main challenges faced by teachers include the diversity ofstudent abilities, low motivation to learn, disruptive behaviors from highly activestudents, and difficulties in learning Arabic as a foreign language. To address thesechallenges, teachers adopt flexible and adaptive approaches, give special attentionto students in need, and utilize a variety of teaching methods and media. This studyconcludes that effective classroom management is crucial for the success of Arabiclanguage instruction and can significantly enhance student engagement andachievement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of parents in improving early childhood emotional intelligence through a literature study approach. Emotional intelligence is an important ability that is not innate, but can be formed through early learning and experience, especially in the family environment. This study found that parents have a central role in developing children's emotional abilities through positive parenting, warm emotional interactions, and providing role models in managing emotions. Effective strategies include introducing basic types of emotions, providing space for children to express feelings, guidance in resolving conflicts, and involving children in social activities that build empathy and self-confidence. Parents' emotional maturity, the quality of the emotional relationship between parents and children, and open communication patterns also influence the successful development of children's emotional intelligence. The study also emphasizes that collaboration between parents, educators and a conducive family environment is key in shaping emotionally resilient children. Thus, the results of this study reinforce the importance of parents' active role and awareness in creating an environment that supports children's social-emotional development from an early age as a foundation for their future success, both psychologically and socially.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of Islamic Theology and Ethics(Akidah Akhlak) teachers in developing students’ emotional and spiritual intelligenceat Madrasah Aliyah Al Muballighin Muara Bungo. The background of this researchis based on the importance of maintaining a balance between emotional andspiritual intelligence in education. Although students receive formal religiousinstruction, there are still many who struggle to manage their emotions properly andhave not yet demonstrated a high level of spiritual awareness. This conditionemphasizes the need for an active role of teachers in instilling emotional andspiritual values more deeply.This research employed a qualitative approach withdata collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Theinformants consisted of the principal, Akidah Akhlak teachers, and students. Datawere analyzed using an interactive model that included data reduction, datapresentation, and conclusion drawing.The findings indicate that students’ emotionaland spiritual intelligence have not yet developed optimally. The challenges identifiedinclude: the lack of implementation of spiritual values in daily life, limited variation in teaching methods, the presence of students with inappropriate behavior, low self-confidence, academic achievement pressures, and limited instructional time. To address these challenges, Akidah Akhlak teachers have taken several efforts, suchas teaching moral values, creating engaging learning environments, providing rolemodels, offering guidance and advice, and involving other parties in studentdevelopment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Formative assessment plays a very important role in the learning process because it provides continuous feedback for both teachers and students in improving learning strategies and enhancing learning outcomes. In mathematics learning at the junior high school level, effective formative assessment instruments are urgently needed so that students' understanding of concepts and problem-solving skills can be measured comprehensively. This study aims to explore teachers' strategies in developing formative assessment instruments in mathematics learning at junior high school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with an exploratory design through a literature review. Data collection was carried out by reviewing relevant journal articles, books, and research reports, which were then analyzed through the stages of literature selection, information reduction, strategy categorization, and synthesis. The results of the study indicate that teachers use various strategies in designing formative evaluation instruments, including the use of pre-tests to measure initial readiness, formative tests in the form of essay questions or contextual quizzes to assess conceptual understanding, post-tests to review final achievements, and observation of student activities, group discussions, and problem-based tasks to assess engagement and critical thinking skills with the use of concrete media and rewards. Based on this, the development of innovative, structured formative evaluation instruments followed by remedial and enrichment follow-up is essential to make mathematics learning in junior high schools more adaptive, reflective, and oriented towards improving the quality of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila berbasis multikultural terhadap penguatan sikap toleransi beragama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 37 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya penanaman nilai toleransi dalam lingkungan sekolah yang multikultural guna menciptakan kehidupan sosial yang harmonis. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII, dengan sampel 48 orang yang diperoleh melalui teknik random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh informasi yang valid dan reliabel mengenai pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila berbasis multikultural serta sikap toleransi beragama siswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana, uji-t untuk menguji signifikansi pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat, serta uji koefisien determinasi untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi variabel X terhadap variabel Y. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila berbasis multikultural berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penguatan sikap toleransi beragama siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 74,3% menunjukkan kontribusi yang besar, sedangkan 25,7% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila berbasis multikultural berperan penting dalam memperkuat sikap toleransi beragama siswa di SMP Negeri 37 Medan.
