Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' social science knowledge competence through conventional learning methods with the Snowball Throwing learning method assisted by audio-visual media in fourth grade students of SDN Banjarpanji. This research is included in classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at SDN Banjarpanji. The number of fourth grade students at SDN Banjarpanji is 13 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results obtained from the pre-cycle activities showed that the percentage of classical learning completeness was 30.7%. Cycle I with the percentage of classical learning completeness 38.4%, while in the second cycle the percentage of classical learning completeness is 100%. To compare two paired samples, the researcher used Paired Sample T-Test as data analysis. It can be seen that there is a significant difference between the two learning methods of 0.237. Thus, it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing learning method assisted by audio-visual media can improve social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Banjarpanji.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid Fun Thinkers Busy Book learning media product that can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of the beauty of the unity and integrity of my country. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. Data collection techniques used are written tests, interviews. questionnaire and documentation. The results of the study show that the Fun Thinkers Busy Book media is suitable for use as a learning medium with several revisions based on corrections by media experts and material experts. The percentage of eligibility from media experts is 100% with very appropriate information and 100% from material experts. The results of the small group trials showed an increase in learning outcomes by 75%. Meanwhile, in the large group trial, there was an increase of 73.33%. The results of the student response questionnaire show a percentage of 100% with a very decent description. So it can be concluded that the Fun Thinkers Busy Book media is suitable for use as a learning medium on the beauty of the unity and unity of the Republic of Indonesia to improve learning outcomes for 4th grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This research  is motivated by the use of learning media which only focuses on the use of text books in the delivery of learning materials, and the use of technology as a learning medium in learning activities is still rarely used. The purpose of the research was to develop a scientific based Articulate Storyline 3 media in integrated learning in the third grade of elementary school. The type of research used is research an development (R&D) research or development research. The model used in this study is the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model has five stages in its development, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this study stated that the use of scientific based Articulate Storyline 3 learning media obtained a valid category with the results of material validation 83.95%, media validation 76.6% and language validation 82%. the result of the practicality test are stated to be very practical. This is obtained from the teacher response questionnaire and the student response questionnaire for class III SD Negeri 02 Jambak Lubuk Sikaping attitude where the results obtained are 88.6% student response questionnaires. Thus, the scientific based Articulate Storyline 3 learning media in integrated thematic learning in grade III elementary school is declared valid and very practical.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the pictorial riddle model assisted by the Canva application on learning motivation and mastery of science concepts in fourth grade students of SDS Budi Murni Cipayung. This research uses One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study were 12 fourth grade students of SDS Budi Murni Cipayung. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and tests. The results showed that the learning motivation had a value of tcount (7.892) > ttable (2.2010) at a significance level of 0.05 while for mastery of the concept the value of tcount (11.285) > ttable (2.2010) at a significance level of 0.000 <0.05 . This result shows that the application of the pictorial riddle model assisted by the Canva application has a significant effect on learning motivation and mastery of science concepts for fourth grade students at SDS Budi Murni Cipayung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out, describe and analyse the use of a media puzzle game in Jigsaw Model of vocabulary mastery for class one of elementary school students. This research uses Descriptive Qualitative Method. The population of this research is Class 1 of Elementary School 19 Air Salek which consists of 23 students. Methods of data collection using observations, interviews and documentation. Based on the research proves that the media puzzle game in jigsaw model is worthy of use. It is concluded that the use of media and model rises 18 vocabularies on each students at the average. The previous results are 20 of 52 vocabularies on given semester. Therefore, the use of media puzzle game in jigsaw model is one of the best way to increase the students’ vocabularies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of a class V water cycle pop-up book that is effective, practical and effective for student learning outcomes. This study applies research and development using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 04 Puding Besar with the number of fifth grade students as many as 22 people. Data collection was carried out using media experts, linguists, material experts, student response questionnaires, and student test results data validation questionnaires. The validation of the three validators resulted in an average score of 92% in the very valid category. The results of the practicality of the student's answer questionnaire are in the very practical category with an average value of 97.18%, and the effectiveness results are obtained from the results of the test questions distributed to 22 students, 20 completed and two completed. I have not reached KKM 70 in Science. The average score of students' completeness is 82.04%, including the very effective category. From the results of these data, it can be concluded that the development of pop up book media for water circulation class V SD Negeri 04 Puding Besar is a valid, practical and effective learning media for student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The increasing number of pandemic cases has an impact on the education sector. This study aims to determine whether the learning outcomes of students who use Edmodo are better than students who use Google Classroom. The method in this research is an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. This method is an experimental based quantitative method to show whether there is an effect on the independent variable (treatment) to the dependent variable (results) in a controlled situation. The results of this study indicate the difference in the average learning outcomes of 78 for the experimental class and 56,5 for the control class. This is evidenced by the value of the different test results (t) from the above calculation it is obtained that tcount 3,74 and ttabel 1,68, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This indicates that the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class are better than students in the control class.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students. The problem in this research is how is the process of applying the Guessing Type Cooperative Learning model and whether applying the Guessing Type Cooperative Learning model to science learning content can improve student learning outcomes in class IV UPTD SDN 34 Parepare. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. This study focuses on the process and student learning outcomes on the material wealth of energy resources in Indonesia by applying the Cooperative Learning Model Type Guess the Word. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The research subjects were teachers and students with a total of 21 students consisting of 15 male students and 6 female students. Data analysis techniques are data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The implementation of this research was carried out in two cycles starting with pre-action activities, then each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research uses quasi experimental method. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Margajaya 4, Bogor City. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated video media on the learning outcomes of the sub-theme proud of the area where I live in for grade 4 students at SDN Margajaya 4, Bogor City, Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The data analysis technique used is the analysis prerequisite test including the normality test, the homogeneity of variance, and the research hypothesis test using the t test. The N-Gain calculation of Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated video media is 76 with 90.92% completeness learning outcomes, the N-Gain value of the conventional model is 49 with 75% completeness learning outcomes. The results of hypothesis testing show that tcount (7.80798) > ttable (1.99834), then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated video media on the learning outcomes of the sub-theme proud of the area where I live.

Abstract

Learning is a process or effort made by each individual to achieve behavior change, either in the form of knowledge, skills, attitudes, positive values, and experiences from various sources studied. Therefore, to help students acquire this knowledge, a learning approach that meets the requirements of the current curriculum is needed: a scientific approach.. The purpose of this study is to describe and describe the phenomena that occur when the application of a scientific approach in realizing 21st century learning. The method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological type of research with the research subject of fourth grade teachers at SD Negeri 111/I Muara Bulian Tahun Lesson 2021/2022. The data obtained are observations, interviews, and documentation which are then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the scientific approach in realizing 21st century learning in grade IV SDN 111/I Muara Bulian was by implementing the steps of the scientific approach activity known as 5M: Observing, Questioning, Trying, reasoning, and communicating and integrating it with 21st century skills.
