Abstract

This research aims to describe alternative home based learning activities, home used as learning source. That learning alternative is derived from the concept of Multiple Intelligences development, Home as Finnish learning setting education and emergency curriculum proposed by Kemendikbud. The method used is library analysis. The discussion about this learning alternative focuses on kinesthetic intelligence so that it can be done easily by parents. The form of learning alternative is creative project involves My creation, My sport,  a Dancer, Traditional Games, Outbound, Fun Cooking, Gardening. That creative project is valued academic activities based on Basic Competence stated in curriculum. Teaching and learning process in Elementary level mainly focuses on thematic integrative  learning. The proposed learning alternative can facilitate the students to reach the essential basic competence recomended by the school. In this case, learning alternative is correlated with literacy competence, numeric, character education, and life skill.

Abstract

This Study purpose to determine the effect of traditional games application on students’ learning outcomes. This study uses quantitative data analysis, namely the Paired sample t test. The subjects of this study were 19 students of class I SDN Lidak Kulon IV. The data collection techniques in this study are tests, questionnaires and observations. This study uses a pre-experimental design with the types of pre-test and post-test. The traditional games used are the traditional cangklok game while the measurement of student learning outcomes is from learning about whole numbers. The results showed that there was a significant effect of traditional games on student learning outcomes. These results are based on the Paired sample t test, which is known to have a Sig value of (2-tailed) of 0.000.Since the value of Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 or 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference. With the implementation of traditional games in learning whole numbers, students learning outcomes increased because the traditional game of congklak was easy to use and it is fun.

Abstract

The aims of this research are a) To increase student learning activities in learning theme 6 caring for animals and plants, sub theme 6 learning 4 class 2 SDN Merjosari 04 Malang City and b) To improve student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were all 2nd grade students totaling 28 children. Teaching media that can support the ongoing learning activities are interactive multimedia CD. This research is classroom action research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. The cycle consists of four stages of research, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The implementation of this research is successful if at least 75% of students get a score of 70. The results of the implementation of this research are: (1) The average score of student learning activities in the first cycle is 6.0 in the medium category, and the average score student activity in the second cycle is 10.9 with a high category. while (2) the mastery of student learning outcomes classically in the implementation of the first cycle, namely 78.57% of students who scored above 70 and in the implementation of the second cycle 96.43% of students scored above 70.

Abstract

In the state elementary school education unit in Tasikmalaya Regency, we find educators with civil servant status and honorary teachers. Civil Servant teachers are paid directly by the government, while honorary teachers are paid from funding sources that come from school operational funding provided by the government. The minister of education makes a policy so that honorary salaries are used at most 50% of the total allocation of school operational funding provided by the government. Knowing the following policies makes researchers interested in studying the evaluation of the budget allocation for school operational funding for the salaries of honorary teachers in the Tasikmalaya Regency. The research method was a descriptive qualitative method, by interviewing 55 honorary teachers spread over 55 public elementary schools in Tasikmalaya Regency. The results of this study indicate that honorary teachers have not received salaries in accordance with the policies made by the minister of education. Salaries are still met by the policy of the principal in each education unit and the amount of salary received by honorary teachers is still below the minimum wage standard for the Tasikmalaya Regency. So the government should pay attention to teacher salaries to achieve better education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Powtoon-based social studies learning media on the learning interest of fourth-grade students at Jenggot Elementary School, Krembung, Sidoarjo. The type of this research is Pre-Experimental Design which uses One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The sample in this study were 18 students in class fourth-graders at Jenggot Elementary School, Krembung, Sidoarjo. The data collection technique used in this research is a questionnaire/questionnaire. Data on student interest in learning shows the average value (mean) of the pretest is 42.61 while the average value (mean) of the posttest is 70.44. While the tcount value is 10.820 and the ttable value is 2.11991 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Student interest in learning data shows that tcount 10,820 > ttable 2.11991, this indicates that there is a significant or real difference between pretest learning interest and posttest learning interest, so Ha is accepted or Powtoon-based social studies learning media has a significant effect on fourth-grade students' learning interest, Jenggot Elementary School, Krembung, Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is currently promoting literacy education. One of the highlights is mathematical literacy. Mathematical literacy ability in Indonesia is still relatively low. This is evidenced by the results of the 2018 Program for International Assessment (PISA) survey, in the field of mathematics, Indonesia is ranked 72 out of 78 countries with a score of 379. The objectives of the research are: to improve students' mathematical literacy skills in the Basic Concepts of geometry and measurement lectures in PGSD FKIP Study Program, Bengkulu University by applying a realistic mathematics education (RME) model. This research uses action research method (Action Research). Data collection techniques aspects of the management of the learning process will collect data in the form of information through observation, and tests of mathematical literacy skills then summarized and described in the form of a data matrix. Data were analyzed through qualitative descriptive. The results of the study have been carried out in lectures by applying the RME model in the Basic Concepts of Geometry and Measurement course. Students' mathematical literacy test results also increased. The highest increase in the aspect of context literacy.

Abstract

This article aims to provide information and describe the design of IT-based social studies learning. Learning design is urgent to improve the development, creation and design of learning activities. In this era of the Industrial revolution, IT-based learning is very urgent to support the learning process. Teachers must be able to apply it to learn. This research uses a literature study method, data is collected by conducting searches and exploring journals through search engines and books and other supporting data. The results of several journals found indicate that the influence of IT is very large in the world of education so it is used as an IT-based learning medium. The media developed learning content including social studies learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the stages of developing pop up book media, to determine the feasibility of pop up book media, and to determine student responses to pop up book media. The type of research used is R&D with research and development procedures from Borg and Gall which has been modified by Sukmadinata with development steps, namely; (1) Conducting preliminary studies, (2) Product planning, (3) Development of product drafts, (4) Individual trials (5) Revising the results of field trials, (6) Limited trials, (7) Completion of test products limited, (8) Extensive implementation test, (9) Final product improvement. The results of this study indicate that the material expert's assessment got an average score of 88% in the "valid" category, the media expert's assessment got an average score of 90.83% in the "valid" category, the linguist's assessment got an average score of 87.49% in the "valid" category. valid", and the assessment of student responses at SDN Tegal got an average score of 97.20% in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of implementing the Edmodo application and digital literacy for 5A semester students at the PGSD FKIP Study Program, Bengkulu University, for the Basic Concept of Dance. The research method used is action research conducted in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques are cognitive learning outcomes tests and digital literacy observations. Data analysis is using the classical absorption formula to analyze the effectiveness of learning and percentage techniques to analyze digital literacy. The results in this study were the classical absorption in cycle 1 was 73.75% and increased in cycle 2 by 85%. Digital literacy in cycle 1 is in the moderate category of 14.29%, good 63.64%, and very good 18.18%, increasing in cycle 2, namely 18.18% good category and 81.82% very good. Based on this, it can be concluded that the application of the Edmodo application is effective and can improve students' digital literacy.

Abstract

The "Teaching Campus" program has only started to be implemented at the end of 2020, where the target is students, especially at the elementary school level. The purpose of this study is to find out literation-numeration learning, technology and administration inovation in the COVID-19 period. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method which is subject to 303 students at SDN Kertamukti 01, Cibitung. Data were collected using documentation and observation techniques. The result showed that COVID-19 pandemic had impact and there were constraints on learning for learners and teachers because learnig is done online. The first program implemented was training on the application of technology for online learning to teachers at SDN Kertamukti 01, such as using the Kahoot, Quizizz and Canva applications. The next program is home-visit teaching and programs in the field of administration, such as the preparation of one-sheet lesson plans, updating school accreditation and making school logos for correspondence and others. With this situation, all remain vigilant and keep themselves in accordance with health protocols recommended by the government to avoid the coronavirus.
