Abstract

This study aims to describe the proportion of the dimensions of knowledge, cognitive level, and affective level about the social studies subject school exam questions for Grade VI Elementary School students in Bengkulu City in the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is descriptive research. The object of this research is the grid, questions, and answer keys for school exam questions. The instrument in this study is documentation, including an analysis sheet of the proportion of knowledge dimensions, cognitive levels, and affective levels of school exam questions. The research data in the form of the proportion of the dimensions of knowledge, cognitive level, and affective level were analyzed and then calculated the percentage. The results showed: 1) the proportion of knowledge dimensions, including factual is 29 items (82.86%) and conceptual is 6 items (17.14%); 2) the proportion of cognitive levels, Level 1 (LOTS) is 3 items (8.57%), Level 2 (MOTS) is 11 items (31.43%), and Level 3 (HOTS) is 21 items (60 %); 3) the proportion of affective levels, including responding (A2) is 1 item (2.86%), appreciating (A3) is 7 items (20%), organizing (A4) is 2 items (5.71%) , and characterization by value (A5) is 1 item (2.86%)

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of the proud sub-theme of the area where I live. This research was conducted at the Cimanggis 02 Public Elementary School, Bogor district, Class IV A, and IV B from May to even semesters. The N-Gain calculation of the Problem Based Learning models is 70 with high criteria and 83% completeness oh learning outcomes, the N-Gain value of the conventional model is 37 with medium criteria and 70% completeness of learning outcomes. The results of hypothesis testing state that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, because the calculation results are tcount (5,8718) > ttable (2,00172). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there was an influence from the use of the Problem Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of the proud sub-theme of the area where I live. A very effective learning model to be used in the sub-theme of being proud of the area where I live is the Problem Based Learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application as well as the understanding of the obligatory national anthem in the fourth grade at SD Negeri 81 Bengkulu City. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The subject of this research is the teacher the fourth grade homeroom teacher and the fourth grade student. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself, using observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data validity technique is through technical triangulation and membercheck. The results showed that teachers did not always explain importance of singing the national compulsory anthem at the opening lesson. The national anthem that are often sung are the anthems Indonesia Raya, Garuda Pancasila, and Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa. For the overall understanding part, students' understanding of the seven national compulsory songs, consisting of five aspects studied, is not good enough. Students are able to mention the title, the name of the songwriter, and connect the lyrics of the song. Students have not been able to explain the meaning and the implementation of songs in daily life. So It can be concluded learning is not in accordance with the rules and students do not understand the content of song.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop LKPD Media Blended Learning contains Good and Strong characters. Good characters indicated by Sincere, Honest, Trusted, Humble" and "Strong characters" indicated by Discipline, Courageous, Tough", as an innovation in Blended Learning media and to straighten up the quality of outcomes and student learning process with Islamic personality. This research was conducted at MI Nurul Yaqin, Cibinong Regency, Bogor. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) while the development process is adjusted to the research focus which consists of defining, designing and developing. The data obtained is in the form of qualitative. The results of the LKPD research are made in print and also online, i.e. e-learning in pdf form and learning videos, so that students can study at home via cellphones. In learning activities it can be implemented that good character requires three prerequisites, namely: (1) Honest, (2) Fair, and (3) Trust. Strong Character. Strong character demands three prerequisites as well: (1) Courage, (2) Discipline, and (3) Consistent. LKPD media is suitable for implementation as a Blended Learning medium because it is a combination of aspects of internet-based learning with face-to-face learning.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a problem-based learning model based on the local culture of the Bengkulu coastal community which is assessed for its feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness for improving the social attitudes of elementary school students. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model. Products are validated by material, language and presentation experts. In addition to the validation test, a limited trial was also carried out to test the practicality and effectiveness of product development with teachers and fifth grade students at elementary school 1 Bengkulu City. Testing its effectiveness to improve social attitudes is carried out with a Classroom Action Research design. The data collection instrument used was a validation questionnaire, practicality and effectiveness. The Problem Based Learning model based on the local culture of the Bengkulu coastal community is declared: suitable for use by material, language, and presentation experts with the category "Very Valid"; practically used by teachers and grade V students in the category "Very Interesting/Very Practical"; effective in improving the social attitudes of students in the "Cultivate Consistent" category.

Abstract

The Study aimed to improve students’ activities and learning achievement in class V SDN 17 Bengkulu City by applying Numbered Head Together (NHT) model assisted by PowerPoint. This study was an action research and was conducted in 2 cycles which each cycle consisted of for stages including: (1) Planning; (2) Action; (3) Observation; (4) Reflection. The subjects were a teacher and 23 students consisted of 10 male students and 13 female. The instruments were observation sheets and test sheets. The analysis for NHT model assisted by PowerPoint  and learning activities observation data were analyzed by applying mean score formula, highest score, lowest score, score differentiation, and approximate score for each criteria. Students’ learning achievement in knowledge aspect was analyzed using mean score formula and the classical learning percentage. Result of NHT model assisted by PowerPoint application on cycle I had gotten adequate category improved getting very good category on cycle II. Result of learning activities on cycle I had categorized as adequate improved to good on cycle II. The student’s learning achievement for Bahasa Indonesia subject on cycle I had gotten the classical learning mastery by 52,1%. Improved on cycle II with the classical learning mastery by 86.9%. For Science subject, the classical learning mastery had been 47.1% on cycle I  improved on cycle II with the classical learning mastery by 78,2%. Thus, applying Numbered Head Together model assisted by PowerPoint improved the students’ activities and learning achievement in the Class V SDN 17 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and determine the feasibility interactive learning media  using Nearpod application on the theme of my country's rich sub-theme of utilizing natural wealth in Indonesia in elementary schools. This research is a development research with a modified ADDIE development model. This development model consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of media expert validation showed a percentage of 97.33% with the category "Valid", the results of validation of linguists showed a percentage of 94.66% with the category "Valid" and the results of material expert validation showed a percentage of 98.66% with the category "Valid". The nearpod media is then tested on grade IV students to see the responses of teachers and learners. The teacher's response results were obtained by a percentage of 95% and the response results of students received a percentage of 89% with the criterion of "Very Good". It was concluded that the development of nearpod-based interactive learning media on the theme of my country's rich sub-theme of utilizing natural wealth in Indonesia is worthy to use for learning in class IV.

Abstract

STEM is an approach that combines four scientific disciplines namely, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics which collaborate in helping students to collect, analyze and solve problems be able to understand the relationship between a problem and other problems in one learning process. This study aims to analyze the Mathematics textbooks of fifth grade Elementary School Students in terms of the Elements of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this study was Mathematics textbook fifth grade 2013 curriculum. The results showed that in each material at KD 3.5 and 3.6 in terms of the STEM approach were (1) for elements of science (Science) emergence the indicator of 50% in KD 3.5 is 15. while in KD 3.6 there is no occurrence. (2) for Technology elements, the occurrence of 75% indicator in KD 3.5 is 31. Meanwhile, in KD 3.6, the occurrence of 50% indicator in KD 3.5 is 6. (3) for Engineering elements, the occurrence of indicator is 80% in KD 3.5 79. Meanwhile, in KD 3.6 the occurrence of 80% indicator in KD 3.6 was 34. (4) for Mathematics elements, the occurrence of 100% indicator in KD 3.5 was 183. Meanwhile in KD 3.6 the occurrence of 100% indicator in KD 3.6 was 28.

Abstract

Mathematical logical intelligence is an important ability to have in order to be able to think logically in solving cases or everyday problems related to mathematical calculations. So in cultivating mathematical logical intelligence, it is necessary to stimulate contextual problems through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This study aims to explain the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in instilling mathematical logical intelligence in elementary school students. This research method is classroom action research (CAR), with the implementation of research in two cycles. The stages in this research are: (1) Planning, (2) Acting and Observing, (3) Reflecting. The results showed an increase in mathematical logical intelligence in grade 1 students at Balongjeruk Primary School through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The pre-cycle stage shows a logical mathematical intelligence ability of 19%. Cycle 1 showed an increase in the ability of mathematical logical intelligence by 11% to 30%. Cycle 2 shows the ability of mathematical logical intelligence of 12% so that it becomes 52%.

Abstract

This study aims to compare student learning motivation in online and face-to-face social studies learning and explore strategies that can increase student motivation in these subjects. This study uses the literature review method by analyzing past and recent research findings that are relevant to the research topic. The results showed that there was no significant difference in learning motivation between students in online and face-to-face social studies learning. However, there are several strategies that can be implemented to increase student motivation, such as facilitating interaction between students and teachers, providing positive feedback, and creating interesting and relevant learning materials. The recommendation from this study is for teachers to apply these strategies in social studies learning to increase students' learning motivation.
