Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of using audio-visual media on student learning outcomes in thematic learning at SDN 16 Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research and the method used is a quasi-experimental method with a research design of The Matching Only Pre-Test-Post Test Group Design. The population of this study were all fifth grade students with a sample based on the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The instrument used is a written test and data collection techniques in the form of pre-test and post-test. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative analysis. The results of the post-test analysis showed a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. Then the hypothesis test (t-test) was conducted with the number of Indonesian language subjects tcount (3.730) > ttable (1.670) and in science subjects tcount (3.231) > ttable (1.670). Based on the tcount > ttable, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using audio-visual media on learning outcomes in thematic learning at SDN 16 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The purpose of this research for describe social media use on grade school students high in the District Kepahiang. Type of this research is quantitative survey. Population on this research is all primary schools in the District Kepahiang, totaling 22 public elementary schools. Sample on this research is 170 students from grade 4 to grade 6 in 2 public elemantry school in District Kepahiang. Technique data collection and research instruments this use questionnaire. On research this technique data analysis using formula percentage. Results research this show that social media use of 170 students there are 164 students who use social media, age social media users from 9 years – 112 years, the most social media used that is Whatsapp (93.90%), YouTube (87.19%), Facebook (73.17%), TikTok (68.29%), and Instagram (56.09%). Public elementary school 03 Kepahiang students and public elementary school 22 Kepahiang normal access social media with use mobile phones (91%-97%), laptops (2%-9%), and tabs (1%-7%), they also using social media in various the place like at home (93%-98%) and at school (1%-5%). Students access social media with destination work Duty school (30%-60%), looking for entertainment (45%-50%), and as for elementary school students use social media for transaction sell buy although only little (2%).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the techniques and results of drawing-based work finger painting in Cultural Arts and Fine Arts Skills for class I SDN 58 Lebong Regency. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects were class teachers and first grade students at SD Negeri 58 Lebong Regency. Instruments on this study namely, the researchers themselves using observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, condensing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study are (1) based drawing techniques finger painting consist of blocking, 1 finger spiral and point, 1 finger straight, 1 finger rotate, 1 finger circular 1 finger raised curved, 2 oblique lines, 2 fingers rotate, 3 fingers wave, 3 fingers curved, and 3 fingers rotate from these techniques technique 3 rotary finger has not been applied in this study. (2) Results work of drawing technique based finger painting contains the elements and principles of fine art. the elements that exist are points, lines, planes, colors, and textures while those that are not yet available are shapes, space, and darkness. Then on the work of technique-based drawing finger painting has fulfilled the principles of fine art namely unity, rhythm, balance, center of attention, proportion, and contrast.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di kelas IVA di SDN 05 Kota Bengkulu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IVA SDN 05 Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi dan lembar tes. Teknis analisis data lembar observasi menggunakan rumus nilai rata-rata skor, skor tertinggi, skor terendah, selisih skor dan rentang nilai untuk setiap kriteria. Data tes dianalisis menggunakan rumus rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru rata-rata skor siklus I sebesar 65 kategori baik meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 92 kategori sangat baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa rata-rata skor siklus I sebesar 65 kategori baik, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 94,5 kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa aspek sikap rata-rata skor siklus I sebesar 9,11 kategori baik, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 11,14 kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siklus I rata-rata 68,52 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 61,76% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 81,61 dengan ketuntasan belajar  klasikal 82,35%. Hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA pada siklus I rata-rata 73,08 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 73,52% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 78,23 dengan ketuntasan belajar 85,29%. Hasil belajar aspek keterampilan rata-rata skor siklus I sebesar 6,02 kategori baik, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 7,46 kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Tematik di kelas IVA SDN 05 Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

This research sought to identify and describe the difficulties in learning mathematics on the materials of KPK and FPB as well as efforts to handle them in class IV A students at SD Negeri 03 Bengkulu City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and document analysis of practice questions. The aspect studied was the process of learning mathematics from KPK and FPB material to identify difficulties and the teacher's efforts to handle them. Based on the results of the research, four learning difficulties were found (1) Difficulties in instilling concepts, in the form of low student concentration, as well as the teacher's efforts to handle them by attracting the attention and focus of students by counting together, and conducting question and answer questions to students. (2) Difficulty understanding the concept, in the form of difficulty understanding the concept of multiples of numbers, the concept of prime numbers, and the concept of powers of numbers, as well as the teacher's efforts to handle them by reviewing the previous subject matter at the next meeting. (3) Difficulties in numeracy skills, in the form of errors in performing arithmetic operations in answering questions, as well as the teacher's efforts to handle them by accompanying students to complete calculations on questions, and giving routine practice questions to develop numeracy skills. (4) Difficulties in applying the concept, in the form of errors in solving word problems, so that they do not solve problems in the questions, the teacher's efforts to handle them by giving remedial programs to students.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the effect of photography media for Natural Science lesson on the 5th grade elementary students' learning outcomes in Bengkulu City. This study was a quantitative study. The research method applied was a quasy experiment with the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population for this research was all elementary schools in Bengkulu City with B accreditation and it was obtained that SDN 77 Bengkulu City and SDN 50 Bengkulu City were selected as the samples. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The samples for this study were Class VB of SDN 77 Bengkulu City as the experimental class, and Class VB of SDN 50 Bengkulu City as the control class. The instrument used in this study was a test sheet in the multiple choice form. The test was conducted two times which were before and after the learning process in both of the experimental and control class. The data analysis technique implemented were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis which was t-test. The result data processed by t-test showed the value of tcalculation (4.93) and the value of ttable (1.67) on the 5% significance level, statistically it was seen that tcalculation (4.93) > ttable (1.67). Thus, it may be concluded that there is some effect of photography media for Natural Science lesson on the 5th grade elementary students' learning outcomes in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of the model-based Discovery Learning etnomatematika toward critical thinking ability in mathematics of fourth grade students of SDN Force 10 Bengkulu City. This research is quantitative. The method used is quasy experiment with the research design matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling. The population in this study is that SDN Force 10 fourth grade students at SDN 58 for grade control and fourth grade students at SDN 38 for the experimental class. The instrument used in this study is the critical thinking skills test sheet in the form of a description, amounting to 5 questions. Making the test twice, ie before and after the learning took place in the experimental class and control. Based on the calculation of the t-test posttest results of students, where thitung =2,10 and ttabel = 2.00. Because thitung > tabel, show that there are differences in resultsposttest between the experimental class and control class. The conclusion of this studythere is a significant effect of useetnomatematika discovery learning models based on critical thinking skills in mathematicsstudents of SDN 10 Bengkulu City Cluster.

Abstract

This research aims to analyzed comparison the outcomes cognitif learning use Picture And Picture  learning model with Examples Non Examples learning model. This type of research is a quantitative research. The research design used was Quasi Experimental Design with design type The Matching Pretest-Posttest Comparison Group Design. The test is done twice before and after giving treatment (treatment) in the class. The subjeck in this study is divided into two groups: students of class IV A  in SDN 76 Kota Bengkulu as a experimental  group 1 and students of class IV B at SDN 76 Kota Bengkulu as experimental group 2. The research instrument used is a learning result test with multiple choice questions given through pretest before the learning takes place and posttest after the learning takes place. Data of this research are analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis that is t-test (independent sample t-test). Data of research result which is processed by using t test obtained t hitung equal to 2,34 and ttabel value equal to 1,667. Systematically seen thitung 2,34 > ttabel 1.667 at 5% significant level, This shows that there are differences in learning outcomes between students taught by using pictures and pictures learning model with examples non examples learning model. then the average of the result study of Picture and Picture learning model was (68,22) and Example Non Example was (58,03).The concluded that the Picture and Picture learning model more effective to highest students result study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Concept Mapping applied to the Problem Based Learning model of critical thinking skills of students of science class V SD Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative research. The type of research used is quasi experimental research with the design of The Matching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study is all students of grade V SD Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used Two Stage Random Sampling so as to obtain the class VA SDN 41 Bengkulu City as the experimental class and class VB SDN 82 Bengkulu City as the control class. The research instrument is a critical thinking skill test which is about essay given through pretest and posttest. Based on the hypothesis test using t-test of two independent samples, obtained tcount (2.95) > ttable (1.67) at 5% significant level, it can be concluded that there is influence of Concept Mapping usage applied in Problem Based Learning model to ability critical thinking students of science class V SD Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences of mathematical thinking skills between students who use wingeom software media and manipulative media in the fifth grade elementary school mathematics learning in the XIV group of Bengkulu City. This research is quantitative research. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest comparation group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade elementary school students in group XIV of Bengkulu City. The sample is a fifth grade student of SDN gugus XIV Bengkulu City, which is a state school. The sampling technique uses purposive random sampling. The drawing results obtained by the sample were students of VC class SDN 42 Bengkulu City, amounting to 23 students into the experimental class I and class VA SDN 45 Bengkulu City, amounting to 25 students into the experimental class II. The research instrument used a test in the form of a description question that given through pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique in this study is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely the t-test. Data from the research results processed using the t-test by looking at the gain values ​​obtained, by the value of tcount of 2.25 and the value of ttable of 2.01. Statistically, there are tcount (2.25)> ttable (2.01) at a significant level of 5%, it can be concluded that there are differences of mathematical thinking skills between students using manipulative media and wingeom software media in mathematics learning in class V SD XIV group of Bengkulu City.
