Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the use of drawing media series on the ability to write fable fairytales students class IV elementary school Sekota Bengkulu. This type of research is a quantitative research. Reasearch Method used Quasy Experimental research with the design resarch The Matching Only Posttset Control Group Design. This research conucted after giving treatment to the sample class. The population in this research are all elementary school and students who are accredited A and used the curriculum KTSP Sekota Bengkulu. The sampling technique used the cluster random sampling.The sample in this research is students of class IVB SDN 60 as the experimental class and the students of class IVB SDN 82 as the control class. This research instrument used a description test (essay). Data analysis used is descriptive analysis, prerequisite test and inferential analysis that is t-test. T-test of both sample classes with significance level of 5%, obtained tcount = 1,74 while ttable =1,68 tcount > ttable so that H0 rejected and Ha accepted. It means that there the influence of the use of drawing media series to the ability to write fable fairytales class students IV elementary school sekota Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using of the Learning Cycle 5E model on students critical thinking skills of class V in  SDN Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative, using the experimental method, with the design of The  Matching Only  Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjects in  this study were the fifth graders of SDN 51 Kota Bengkulu (control class)  and fifth grade students of SDN 60 Kota Bengkulu (experimental class) with using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used is essay test sheet. The results of the t-gain test calculation at are thitung  equal to 4,16 bigger than equal to ttabel 2,01 which means that there is a significant influence on the use of the  Learning  Cycle  5E  model  on  students'  critical  thinking  skills.  The conclusion in this study is that there is an effect of the use of the 5E Learning Cycle model on Students' Critical Thinking Ability of class V Natural Sciences in SDN kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning models assisted by pictorial word card media on Thematic learning on student learning outcomes. This research is quantitative research. The research method used was Quasi Experiment with the type of design The Matching Only Pretest-Posstest Control Group Design. The population of this study was first-grade students of SDN Gugus 10 Lebong Regency. The sample in this study was class I SDN 54 Lebong and Class I SDN 16 Lebong. The sampling technique uses Cluster Random Sampling. The total sample of 52 students consisted of class I SDN 54 Lebong totaling 25 students as the experimental class and class I SDN 16 Lebong totaling 27 students as the control class. The research instrument used was in the form of a knowledge learning test in the form of Multiple Choices given through Pretest and Posttest, for the learning outcomes aspects of attitudes and skills the instruments used were observation guidelines. The data analysis technique in this study is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test. Based on the results of this study it is known that the value of t-count on SBDP subjects is 5.43 and in Indonesian Language subjects is 2.65 greater than t-table at a 5% significance level of 1.675. Thus the Ha hypothesis is proven and accepted. This shows that there are influences on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning that use discovery learning models assisted with pictorial word card media.

Abstract

This type of research is qualitative descriptive research, with participant observationtechniques. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of making and painting artwork with yarn pull techniques in class II Culture and Skills SBK study were all class II students of SDN 87 Bengkulu city, totaling 26 people. The research instrument was a human instrument, using observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation guidelines. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis of the process of making the work is done by analyzing the data then reducing, displaying, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are (1) The process of making painting works with the technique of pulling thread begins with the distribution of  tools  and materials in the form of newsprint, mattress yarn, dyeing place, HVS paper and coloring. Followed by folding the paper in two. Next dip the yarn into the dye. Then the thread is put on paper and the last is the pulling of the thread. (2) All works of art in painting with the technique of pulling threads made by students contain elements and principles of fine art. Elements of art on the results of painting with yarn pull techniques have all been applied.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of bullying in class V of SDN 60 Kota Bengkulu. The method and type of research used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 60 Kota Bengkulu. The technique of collecting data uses observation and interviews. Data analysis is done by collecting data (data collection), data reduction (data reduction), presenting data (display data) and drawing conclusions (Verification data). Testing the validity of the data using an extension of observation, increasing perseverance, and data triangulation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the behavioral forms and causes of bullying that occur in SDN 60 Kota Bengkulu, Types of bullying include physical bullying, verbal bullying, and psychic bullying: (1) Physical bullying includes: pushing, hitting, kicking, bullying , and damaging other people's goods, verbal bullying includes: spreading news incorrectly, bestowing mistakes on others, mocking, dubbing friends with animal names, and bullying friends, psychic bullying includes: Students do not care about other students, discriminate against other students and demean other students, (2) The causes of bullying include family factors, bad individual factors, and school factors: Family factors include: lack of communication between parents and children and children who lose their father / mother, bad individual factors including : seeking popularity / attention, and revenge / jealousy, the School factor is the lack of teacher supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Role Playing learning model to increase the confidence of students in class V B of SDN 52 Bengkulu City. The research subjects were teachers and students of class V B SDN 52 Bengkulu City. The research instrument was in the form of an observation sheet, which consisted of an observation sheet applying the Role Playing learning model and a student's confidence observation sheet. The data analysis technique uses the average score formula, highest score, lowest score, difference in score and range of values for each criterion. The average results of the implementation of the first cycle Role Playing learning model were obtained at 29.5 with sufficient categories and the second cycle obtained at 38.5 with a very good category. The results of the average self-confidence of the first cycle students were obtained at 19.03 with sufficient categories and the second cycle was obtained at 26.15 with very good categories. Based on the results of the t test obtained t0 6.25 is greater than t table 1.706. Then it can be concluded that the application of the Role Playing learning model can increase the confidence of students in class V B SDN 52 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts of teachers in instilling respect for students through Thematic learning in the VB class of State Elementary School 09, City of Bengkulu. This study uses a type of qualitative research and qualitative descriptive research methods. The research subjects were VB homeroom 09 Public Elementary School of Bengkulu City and the object of research was VB class students. The focus of research is the teacher's efforts to instill a respectful attitude towards students. Research instruments are researchers themselves (human instruments) with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data through extension of observation, increase in perseverance and accuracy, and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the researcher describes the efforts of the teacher in instilling respect for students by using attitudinal formation patterns, namely habituation and modeling (Thematic) through Thematic learning, such as teachers condition students not to chat during learning or discussion, the teacher exemplifies students not differentiate friends, and the teacher conditions and exemplifies to speak politely and behave politely. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded the efforts of VB homeroom teacher in instilling respect for students through Thematic learning in VB class of Public Elementary School 09 Kota Bengkulu: a) Treating other people with respect, b) Tolerating various differences, c) Using language and treatment polite, and d) Maintain and pay attention to the feelings of others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ratio of students' mathematical literacy skills between the use of media learning geogebra and learning media manipulative on the material of building nets in class V SDN Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative with Quasi Experimental Design method. The design of this research is Pretest-Posttest Comperations Group Design. The population in this study is all students of Bengkulu State Elementary School which accredited B and is an impact school. The sample in this research is the students of VA SDN 18 Kota Bengkulu class as experimental group I and the students of VB SDN 18 Kota Bengkulu as experiment group II. The test is done twice before and after giving treatment to the sample class. The research instrument used is a test with essay form for process components, multiple choice for content component, and assignment for context component. Data of this research are analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis that is t-test (independent sample t-test). The result showed that the average value of pretest of experiment class I was 25,300, the average value of pretest of experiment class II was 33,710, the average value of posttest of experiment class I was 65,710, and the mean value of posttest of experiment class II was 54,530. The result of pretest-t test in experiment class I and experiment class II showed significance value of 0.003 <0.025. The result of posttest t-test on experiment class I and experiment class II shows significance value equal to 0,009 <0,0250. Furthermore, the t-test for the gain value obtained by the significance value of 0.000 <0,0250 means there is a difference. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted, it means there are differences of students' mathematical literacy ability between usage of learning media of geogebra and manipulative learning media on the material of building nets in class V SDN Bengkulu city.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of mind mapping methods on the thematic learning outcomes. This is quantitative research. The method used was quasy experimental with the type of research design The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population is the fifth grade students of the XIX cluster in Bengkulu City. The sampling uses the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The sample in this study was the VA class SDN 69 Bengkulu City, totaling 28 students as the experimental class and VB SDN 72 Bengkulu City totaling 22 students as the control class. The research instrument used test Pretest and Posttest, for the attitudes and skills learning outcomes of the instrument used was an observation sheet. Data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. From the results of the study note the results of the t-test obtained tcount of Indonesian subjects of 2.47, social studies subjects of 2.51, and Civics subjects of 3.11 with a table at a 2.01 where tcount is greater from ttable. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning using mind mapping methods.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the moral values ​​contained in the Bengkulu folklore about the legend of the golden bird. This moral value is reflected in the behavior and actions of the characters in each character in the story. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis. The type of source data is a document or archive in the form of Bengkulu folk tales taken from the Rejang folklore book. The data analysis technique uses the Conten Analysis technique (content analysis). The results showed that in Bengkulu folklore, the Legend of the Golden Bird, there is a value of human relations with oneself, (b) the value of human relationships with other humans in the social sphere including relationships with the environment, and (c) the value of human relations with God. The value of human moral relationship with oneself is in the form of hard work, determination, intelligence, realistic life, honesty, generosity, courage, humility, patience, courtesy, toughness, right promises, and diligence. The value of human moral relations with other humans in the social sphere includes relationships with the natural environment in the form of good attention to others, living in harmony, cooperation, apologizing, seizing, appreciating, respecting parents, advising, helping, feeling openness, envy, and feeling affection. The value of the moral relationship between humans and God is in the form of gratitude, God is the recipient of the reward.
