Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan pestisida kimia sintetis secara berlebihan di kalangan petani menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan, sekaligus meningkatkan biaya produksi pertanian. Desa Ngargoloka, Kecamatan Gladagsari, Boyolali, Jawa Tengah, menghadapi permasalahan tersebut di tengah melimpahnya limbah tembakau yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam membuat pestisida nabati berbasis limbah tembakau sebagai alternatif pengendalian hama yang ramah lingkungan dan ekonomis. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tiga tahapan, yaitu edukasi dampak pestisida kimia, pelatihan pembuatan dan formulasi pestisida nabati, serta evaluasi menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test. Kegiatan melibatkan 17 petani anggota kelompok tani aktif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan rata-rata sebesar 67,06%, dari 31,76% menjadi 98,82%. Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada aspek pemahaman potensi limbah tembakau sebagai pestisida nabati dan keyakinan tentang kemampuannya mengurangi ketergantungan pada pestisida kimia, masing-masing sebesar 94,12%. Selain itu, seluruh peserta memberikan penilaian positif terhadap materi, narasumber, dan sarana pelatihan, serta 64,71% menyatakan berminat untuk mempraktikkan pembuatan pestisida nabati secara mandiri.Abstract: The excessive use of synthetic chemical pesticides among farmers has caused negative impacts on health and the environment, while also increasing agricultural production costs. Ngargoloka Village, Gladagsari District, Boyolali, Central Java, faces these challenges amid an abundance of tobacco waste that has not been optimally utilized. This community service activity aimed to improve farmers' knowledge and skills in producing plant-based pesticides from tobacco waste as an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to pest control. The method consisted of three stages: education on the impacts of chemical pesticides, training in the production and formulation of botanical pesticides, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. A total of 17 active farmer group members participated. The evaluation results showed an average knowledge improvement of 67.06%, from 31.76% to 98.82%. The highest increase occurred in understanding the potential of tobacco waste as a botanical pesticide and in participants' confidence in its ability to reduce dependence on chemical pesticides, each rising by 94.12%. Furthermore, all participants gave positive assessments of the training materials, presenters, and facilities, with 64.71% expressing interest in independently practicing the production of botanical pesticides.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan berdampak serius pada kesehatan mental dan membatasi akses penyintas terhadap dukungan sosial yang aman. Komunitas profesional lintas sektor, seperti petugas Dinas Sosial, Dinas Perempuan dan Anak, serta layanan rehabilitasi sosial, memiliki peran penting sebagai penyedia dukungan sosial awal. Namun, kapasitas mereka dalam merespons pengungkapan kekerasan seksual masih perlu diperkuat. Artikel ini bertujuan mengevaluasi program penguatan kapasitas komunitas profesional lintas sektor dalam menyediakan dukungan sosial awal yang aman dan responsif bagi perempuan penyintas kekerasan seksual. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan partisipatif yang melibatkan 24 peserta. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pengukuran awal dan akhir terhadap aspek sikap dan self-efficacy melalui 20 item kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pada sikap non-stigmatis (mean 3,31 menjadi 4,04) dan self-efficacy (mean 3,61 menjadi 4,35). Program ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesiapan peserta memberikan respons empatik serta memperkuat praktik dukungan sosial berbasis trauma-informed melalui pelatihan dan penyusunan buku saku.Abstract: Sexual violence against women has a serious impact on mental health and limits survivors’ access to safe social support. Cross-sectoral professional communities, such as staff from the Social Services Agency, the Women and Children’s Agency, and social rehabilitation services, play a crucial role as providers of initial social support. However, their capacity to respond to disclosures of sexual violence still needs to be strengthened. This article aims to evaluate a capacity-building program for cross-sectoral professional communities in providing safe and responsive initial social support for women survivors of sexual violence. The activity was conducted through participatory training involving 24 participants. The evaluation was carried out using pre- and post-measurements of attitudes and self-efficacy through a 20-item questionnaire. The results showed an increase in non-stigmatizing attitudes (mean 3.31 to 4.04) and self-efficacy (mean 3.61 to 4.35). This program contributed to enhancing participants’ readiness to provide empathetic responses and strengthened trauma-informed social support practices through training and the development of a pocket guide.

Abstract

Abstrak: Transformasi digital mendorong organisasi masyarakat untuk memperkuat kapasitas kader dalam pengelolaan administrasi publik yang efektif, adaptif, dan akuntabel. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kader dalam literasi digital dan administrasi publik berbasis teknologi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pra-kegiatan (wawancara, survei, diskusi), pelatihan interaktif dan praktik langsung, serta pendampingan implementatif. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 18 peserta yang mendapatkan penguatan kapasitas dalam bidang administrasi organisasi berbasis digital, pengelolaan data, penyusunan laporan, dan pemanfaatan media sosial untuk promosi program sosial. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi, pre-test, post-test, kuesioner, dan praktik aplikasi digital. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dari rata-rata 58,3% menjadi 81,7%, mencerminkan penguasaan hardskill dan peningkatan softskill, termasuk kolaborasi dan manajemen tugas. Kegiatan ini berhasil memfasilitasi penerapan keterampilan digital dalam aktivitas organisasi sehari-hari, memperluas jangkauan program sosial, serta membangun pola kerja yang lebih efisien, terdokumentasi, dan akuntabel.Abstract: Digital transformation encourages community organizations to strengthen the capacity of cadres in managing effective, adaptive, and accountable public administration. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of cadres in digital literacy and technology-based public administration. The implementation method includes pre-activities (interviews, surveys, discussions), interactive training and direct practice, and implementation mentoring. This activity involved 18 participants who received capacity building in the areas of digital-based organizational administration, data management, report preparation, and the use of social media to promote social programs. Evaluation was carried out through observation, pre-tests, post-tests, questionnaires, and digital application practice. The results showed an increase in participant abilities from an average of 58.3% to 81.7%, reflecting mastery of hard skills and improvements in soft skills, including collaboration and task management. This activity successfully facilitated the application of digital skills in daily organizational activities, expanded the reach of social programs, and established more efficient, documented, and accountable work patterns.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan pekerja dan komunitas sekitar tempat pemrosesan akhir sampah (TPAS) dalam mengolah sampah organik dan limbah kayu menjadi biopelet sebagai bahan bakar alternatif co-firing biomassa pada PLTU. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tiga tahapan, yaitu pra-kegiatan berupa identifikasi potensi dan koordinasi mitra, pelaksanaan melalui sosialisasi ekonomi sirkular dan pelatihan teknis produksi biopelet meliputi pengeringan, pencacahan, pencampuran, pencetakan, dan pendampingan operasional, serta evaluasi melalui uji mutu produk dan survei kepuasan peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan biopelet yang dihasilkan memenuhi spesifikasi umum co-firing biomassa dengan kadar air 8–12%, nilai kalor 3.300–4.100 kkal/kg, dan kadar abu 7–10%. Survei terhadap 25 peserta mencatat respons positif rata-rata 80%, dengan 86% melaporkan peningkatan keterampilan teknis dan 72% menyatakan minat melanjutkan produksi secara berkelanjutan. Program ini terbukti meningkatkan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, mengurangi beban timbunan sampah, serta membuka peluang usaha berbasis energi terbarukan yang berpotensi direplikasi pada TPAS lain.Abstract: This community service program aimed to empower workers and residents surrounding an urban municipal solid waste landfill (TPAS) to process organic waste and wood residue into biopellets for biomass co-firing fuel for PLTU. Implementation comprised three phases: pre-activity, involving potential identification and partner coordination; implementation, encompassing circular economy socialization and technical training in biopellet production covering drying, shredding, blending, molding, and operational mentoring; and evaluation through product quality testing and participant satisfaction surveys. Quality assessments confirmed that the biopellets produced met general co-firing biomass specifications, achieving moisture content of 8–12%, calorific value of 3,300–4,100 kcal/kg, and ash content of 7–10%. A survey of 25 participants recorded an average positive response rate of 80%, with 86% reporting improved technical skills and 72% expressing interest in continuing production. The program demonstrably enhanced human resource capacity, reduced landfill waste accumulation, and created renewable energy-based livelihood opportunities replicable at other sites.

Abstract

Abstrak: Bullying dan kekerasan seksual merupakan masalah serius yang memengaruhi 25% pelajar di Indonesia, berdampak pada kesehatan mental dan fisik remaja. Kurangnya pendampingan dan pemahaman mengenai anti-bullying serta pencegahan kekerasan seksual menjadi penyebab utama, terutama di kalangan pelajar Muhammadiyah Kota Sukabumi. Program pendampingan pelajar Muhammadiyah se-Kota Sukabumi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan pelajar dalam mencegah bullying serta kekerasan seksual melalui pendekatan Islami. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan konseling sebaya, workshop interaktif, melibatkan 86 pelajar di SD Aisyiyah kota sukabumi, SMP Aisyiyah kota sukabumi, dan MTS Muhammadiyah kota Sukabumi. Sistem evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test dengan 33 pertanyaan kuesioner terstruktur serta observasi perilaku untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pengenalan bullying, mekanisme pelaporan, batas persetujuan seksual, dan dukungan psikososial. Hasilnya dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif guna menilai efektivitas program. Hasilnya, pengetahuan peserta meningkat signifikan, seperti pemahaman anti-bullying dari 42% menjadi 96%, dan pencegahan kekerasan seksual dari 55% menjadi 91%. Sebanyak 94% peserta merasa program sangat bermanfaat, dengan 89% puas terhadap materi dan pendampingan.Abstract: Bullying and sexual violence are serious problems affecting 25% of students in Indonesia, impacting the mental and physical health of adolescents. The lack of mentoring and understanding regarding anti-bullying and sexual violence prevention is a major cause, especially among Muhammadiyah students in Sukabumi City. This Muhammadiyah student mentoring program across Sukabumi City aims to enhance students' awareness and skills in preventing bullying and sexual violence through an Islamic approach. The methods used include socialization, peer counseling training, and interactive workshops, involving 121 students from SD Aisyiyah Sukabumi City, SMP Aisyiyah Sukabumi City, and MTS Muhammadiyah Sukabumi City. The evaluation system employs pre-test and post-test with structured questionnaires as well as behavioral observations to measure improvements in knowledge about bullying recognition, reporting mechanisms, sexual consent boundaries, and psychosocial support. The results are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to assess program effectiveness. The results show a significant increase in participants' knowledge, such as anti-bullying understanding from 45% to 88%, and sexual violence prevention from 55% to 91%. As many as 94% of participants found the program highly beneficial, with 89% satisfied with the materials and mentoring. This program is expected to continue through integration into the Muhammadiyah school curriculum and collaboration with local child protection agencies.

Abstract

Abstrak: Praktik pemberian makanan atau minuman sebelum menyusui (prelacteal feeding) masih banyak ditemukan di Indonesia dan berpotensi menghambat keberhasilan ASI eksklusif. Praktik ini sering terkait nilai sosial budaya yang diwariskan, sehingga diperlukan promosi kesehatan yang sensitif budaya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas kader komunitas dalam edukasi laktasi melalui integrasi pesan kesehatan dalam ritual Baayun–Bedadah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah community-based participatory approach dengan pelibatan aktif kader dalam pelatihan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sebanyak 38 partisipan terlibat, terdiri dari kader komunitas, ibu nifas, dan keluarga. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test pengetahuan serta observasi keterampilan kader. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan dari 4,95 menjadi 6,55 serta peningkatan keterampilan edukasi laktasi. Integrasi edukasi dalam ritual juga berpotensi mendorong komitmen keluarga terhadap ASI eksklusif dan mengurangi praktik prelaktal. Pendekatan berbasis budaya efektif meningkatkan praktik menyusui di komunitas.Abstract: The practice of giving food or drink before breastfeeding (prelacteal feeding) is still common in Indonesia and has the potential to hinder the success of exclusive breastfeeding. This practice is often linked to inherited socio-cultural values, necessitating culturally sensitive health promotion. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of community cadres in lactation education by integrating health messages into the Baayun-Bedadah ritual. The approach used is a community-based participatory approach with active involvement of cadres in training, implementation, and evaluation. A total of 38 participants were involved, consisting of community cadres, postpartum mothers, and families. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests of knowledge and observation of cadre skills. The results showed an increase in knowledge scores from 4.95 to 6.55 and improved lactation education skills. Integrating education into rituals also has the potential to encourage family commitment to exclusive breastfeeding and reduce prelacteal practices. A culture-based approach is effective in improving breastfeeding practices in the community.

Abstract

Abstrak: Bullying merupakan salah satu permasalahan serius di lingkungan sekolah yang berdampak pada kesehatan mental, prestasi akademik, dan hubungan sosial siswa. Fenomena ini masih ditemukan di SMK dalam berbagai bentuk, baik verbal, fisik, maupun cyberbullying. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi yang tidak hanya bersifat kuratif, tetapi juga preventif melalui pendekatan berbasis empati. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan empati siswa sebagai upaya mewujudkan sekolah zero bullying. Metode yang digunakan adalah edukasi, pelatihan berbasis experiential learning, serta pembentukan komunitas siswa anti-bullying melalui pendekatan peer advocacy. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 17 soal terhadap 89 siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 73,33 pada pre-test menjadi 86,67 pada post-test, dengan peningkatan pemahaman dari 43% menjadi 65%. Selain itu, terjadi penurunan standar deviasi yang menunjukkan pemahaman siswa menjadi lebih merata. Program ini juga meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa, seperti empati, komunikasi asertif, dan kemampuan mengambil perspektif orang lain. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan perilaku prososial siswa serta menjadi langkah awal dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan bebas bullying.Abstract: Bullying is a serious problem in the school environment that affects students' mental health, academic achievement, and social relationships. This phenomenon is still found in vocational high schools in various forms, including verbal, physical, and cyberbullying. Therefore, interventions are needed that are not only curative but also preventive through an empathy-based approach. This community service activity aims to improve students’ understanding and empathy as an effort to achieve a zero-bullying school. The methods used include educational sessions, experiential learning-based training, and the establishment of an anti-bullying student community through a peer advocacy approach. The evaluation was conducted using a pre-test and post-test design with 17 items administered to 89 students. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 73.33 in the pre-test to 86.67 in the post-test, with an improvement in understanding from 43% to 65%. In addition, a decrease in standard deviation indicated that students’ understanding became more evenly distributed. The program also enhanced students’ social skills, including empathy, assertive communication, and perspective-taking abilities. This activity had a positive impact on increasing students’ awareness and prosocial behavior and serves as an initial step toward creating a safe and bullying-free school environment.

Abstract

Abstrak: Transformasi digital dalam dunia pendidikan mendorong pendidik dan komunitas belajar memiliki literasi riset dan publikasi ilmiah yang memadai. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan membekali mahasiswa pesantren dan guru MGMP SMP dalam pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan perangkat lunak NVivo untuk mendukung riset kualitatif dan publikasi ilmiah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di tiga pesantren dan MGMP Bahasa Inggris SMP se-Karesidenan Nganjuk dengan melibatkan 90 peserta menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Hasil pre-assessment menunjukkan sebagian besar peserta belum memahami fitur operasional NVivo, terutama query data (76,8%), import data (75,4%), dan export data (81,2%). Evaluasi pasca pelatihan terhadap 49 responden menunjukkan 83,7% peserta menilai pelatihan sangat bermanfaat dan 55,1% menyatakan praktik serta pendampingan memuaskan. Peserta mulai mampu menggunakan AI untuk penelusuran literatur dan penyusunan artikel ilmiah serta mempraktikkan coding dasar menggunakan NVivo. Luaran kegiatan menunjukkan adanya artikel berhasil dipublikasikan oleh beberapa peserta.Abstract: Digital transformation in education encourages educators and learning communities to have adequate research literacy and scientific publications. This community service activity aims to equip Islamic boarding school students and junior high school MGMP teachers in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and NVivo software to support qualitative research and scientific publications. The activity was carried out in three Islamic boarding schools and junior high school English MGMPs throughout the Nganjuk Residency, involving 90 participants using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. Pre-assessment results showed that most participants did not yet understand NVivo's operational features, especially data query (76.8%), data import (75.4%), and data export (81.2%). A post-training evaluation of 49 respondents showed that 83.7% of participants considered the training very useful and 55.1% stated that the practice and mentoring were satisfactory. Participants began to be able to use AI for literature searches and scientific article preparation and practiced basic coding using NVivo. Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pemberdayaan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih ditemukannya masalah gizi pada remaja yang dipengaruhi rendahnya pengetahuan gizi seimbang dan penerapan konsep “Isi Piringku”. Data UNICEF 2025 menunjukkan remaja usia 10–19 tahun di Indonesia menghadapi tiga beban gizi, yaitu gizi kurang, gizi lebih, dan kekurangan zat gizi mikro. Tingkat nasional, SKI 2023 melaporkan prevalensi remaja pendek 17,5%, sangat kurus 1,9%, dan kurus 5,7%, sementara Riskesdas 2020 menunjukkan pada anak usia 5–12 tahun terdapat masalah gemuk 30,7%, kurus 11,2%, dan obesitas 18,8%. Tujuan kegiatan meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi seimbang siswa SD kelas V dan VI melalui edukasi gizi dan games interaktif. Metode meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, dan games “Isi Piringku” pada 32 siswa. Evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner pretest dan posttest terdiri dari 15 pertanyaan. Kegiatan dinyatakan berhasil apabila terdapat peningkatan skor posttest yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan skor pretest. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dari sebelum kegiatan (baik 3%, cukup 75%, kurang 22%) menjadi setelah kegiatan (baik 47%, cukup 41%, kurang 12%). Hal ini menunjukkan edukasi dikombinasikan dengan permainan efektif meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai gizi seimbang. Disarankan untuk memperluas sasaran dan melibatkan orang tua.Abstract: This empowerment activity is motivated by the continued occurrence of nutritional problems among adolescents, influenced by low knowledge of balanced nutrition and implementation of the “My Plate” concept. UNICEF 2025 data shows that adolescents aged 10–19 in Indonesia face three nutritional burdens: undernutrition, overnutrition, and micronutrient deficiencies. At the national level, SKI 2023 reports the prevalence of stunted adolescents at 17.5%, severely underweight 1.9%, and underweight 5.7%, while Riskesdas 2020 shows children aged 5–12 face overweight issues at 30.7%, underweight 11.2%, and obesity 18.8%. The goal is to increase knowledge of balanced nutrition among fifth and sixth grade students through education and interactive games. Methods include counseling, discussions, and the “My Plate” game with 32 students. Evaluation using pretest and posttest questionnaires consists of 15 questions. The activity is considered successful if there is an increase in posttest scores higher than the pretest scores. Results show increased knowledge from before (good 3%, sufficient 75%, poor 22%) to after (good 47%, sufficient 41%, poor 12%). Education combined with games effectively improves understanding. It is recommended to broaden targets and involve parents.

Abstract

Abstrak: Produktivitas budidaya jamur tiram di kelompok masyarakat desa sangat dipengaruhi oleh kestabilan suhu, kelembapan, sirkulasi udara, dan disiplin pengelolaan rumah kumbung. Di, Pada tahap awal budidaya masih dilakukan secara sederhana melalui penyiraman manual dan pengamatan visual sehingga mikroklimat tidak stabil, pertumbuhan jamur tidak seragam, risiko kontaminasi tinggi, dan hasil panen belum konsisten. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan rumah kumbung berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) untuk memperkuat produksi dan kemandirian usaha mitra. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, perancangan sistem, pemasangan perangkat, pendampingan operasional, serta monitoring dan evaluasi pada 40 peserta dari KWT Saromasea dan Usaha Jelita. Evaluasi dilakukan secara formatif dan sumatif, didukung pemantauan data suhu dan kelembapan berbasis IoT serta perbandingan kondisi sebelum dan sesudah penerapan. Indikator keberhasilan mencakup peningkatan kapasitas produksi, penurunan tingkat kegagalan, stabilitas mikroklimat, keseragaman pertumbuhan jamur serta peningkatan keterampilan mitra. Sistem menggunakan ESP32/NodeMCU, sensor suhu-kelembapan, relay, humidifier, pompa air, exhaust fan, dan pemantauan melalui telepon genggam. Hasil menunjukkan kapasitas baglog meningkat dari 800 menjadi 9.000 per bulan dan kegagalan produksi turun dari lebih 20% menjadi kurang 5%.Abstract: The productivity of oyster mushroom cultivation in rural community groups is strongly influenced by the stability of temperature, humidity, air circulation, and disciplined mushroom-house management. In theearly stages cultivation practices were still carried out conventionally through manual watering and visual observation, resulting in unstable microclimatic conditions, uneven mushroom growth, high contamination risk, and inconsistent yields. This community service program aims to describe the implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based mushroom house to strengthen production and the business independence of partner groups. The activities were carried out through socialization, training, system design, device installation, operational assistance, as well as monitoring and evaluation involving 40 participants from KWT Saromasea and Usaha Jelita. The evaluation was conducted both formatively and summarily, supported bu IoT based temperature and humidity data monitoring and a comparison of pre and post implementation conditions. Indicators of success included increased production capacity, reduced failure rates, microclimate stability, uniform ushroom growth, and improved partner skills. The system employed an ESP32/NodeMCU, temperature-humidity sensors, relays, humidifiers, water pumps, exhaust fans, and smartphone-based monitoring. The results showed that baglog capacity increased from 800 to 9,000 units per month, while the production failure rate declined from more than 20% to less than 5%.
