Abstract

The problems in this study related to the low mathematical communication skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of learning videos in improving mathematical communication skills of class VIII D students in the even semesters of Xaverius Pringsewu Junior High School. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the subject of class VIII D students totaling 25 students. The increase in mathematical communication skills is seen from the test results at the end of each cycle. The test of mathematical communication ability has first been tested for validity and reliability and declared to be in compliance. The indicator of the success of CAR is if students mathematical communication skills classically reach the minimum category of being and experience an increase in each cycle. The results showed that there was an increase in students mathematical communication skills, from the first cycle the percentage of completeness 32% increased to 80% in the second cycle with the achievement of medium, high, and very high categories. This can also be seen from the achievement of the average value of the acquisition of students mathematical communication skills in the first cycle of 59,76 an increased to the second cycle of 74,96. The result of student learning activities also showed an increase, from the first cycle the percentage was 59,4% and increased to 81,25% in the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that “the use of learning videos is effective in improving the mathematical communication skills of class VIII D students in the even semester of Xaverius Pringsewu Junior High School for the 2020/2021 Academic Year”.

Abstract

This research aims to produce thematic learning modules as valid additional teaching materials and to khow both the theacher’s response and the learner’s response to synthesize in learning. The modules used in this study are ADDIE to improve from Borg and Gall. type Research and Development (R&D), consisting of the five stage is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The intrument used in the data-collection process are kuisioner, interview, and documentataries. The validity and student response test uses the established and to lknow the teacher’s responses uses the interview desribed by descriptive explanation. The study is carried out in the grade V of elemenstary school 2 Sawah Brebes. This produced a product that was declared valid and received a value of 96,25% form materials experts, 88% of linguistisc and 84,61% if design expert. Student responsesn are at a rate of 90% of high ability, 94% of modesrate talent students, and 96% of lower talent students, while getting adequate responses from teachers because product can make learning easier.

Abstract

Seiring berjalannya waktu tantangan dan peran yang diemban oleh guru tentunya akan turut berubah, salah satunya faktor nya adalah pada perkembangan dalam bidang teknologi yang juga berperan dan dapat mempengaruhi perubahan tersebut. Apalagi jika mengacu pada berbagai kebijakan dalam kurikulum yang ada dan terbaru, tentu hal ini merupakan salah satu hal yang menarik untuk dibahas. Maka dari itu tujuan penulis yang ingin disampaikan pada tulisan ini adalah untuk membahas mengenai tantangan dan peran dari guru itu sendiri tekhususnya dalam menghadapi penggunaan terkait kurikulum merdeka belajar yang merupakan kurikulum terbaru dan akan diterapkan nanti nya. Kemudian terkait sumber data yang digunakan adalah berbagai bentuk litelatur yang tentu berkaitan dengan tema, baik itu berupa buku, artikel, jurnal, dan sumber tulisan lainnya yang berada di internet. Untuk kepenulisannya sendiri, penulis menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan atau library research dengan mencari dan mengumpulkan sumber-sumber data yang relevan, kemudian menyaring sumber yang telah dikumpulkan ini sehingga dapat ditemukan sumber yang paling relevan dengan tema yang akan dikaji atau diangkat, selanjutnya membuat kesimpulan dan mencatat berbagai hal-hal penting dari sumber yang telah ada, dan barulah nanti akan diimplementasikan di dalam bentuk tulisan.

Abstract

The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Lampung is one of the faculties that produces student output as teachers. Students must have an interest in becoming a teacher when they have graduated from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Lampung. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of Perceptions of the Teaching Campus Program (KM), Family Environment, and Family Economic Conditions on interest in becoming a teacher in FKIP students at the University of Lampung. This research was conducted using a survey method with a quantitative approach. The total population in this study was 112 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, which is 88 samples. The data were tested using partial analysis (t test) and simultaneously (f test). The results of the research hypothesis indicate that there is a partial and simultaneous influence on the perception of campus teaching programs, family environment and family economic conditions on interest in becoming a teacher in FKIP students at the University of Lampung. The results of this study are expected to be a reference in learning, especially to increase interest in becoming a teacher for FKIP students at the University of Lampung.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product of teaching materials in the form of LKPD, namely the Development of LKPD Writing Poetry with a Stylistic Approach. This study uses research and development methods by adapting the Jolly and Bolitho development model. For the feasibility of teaching materials, expert validation and limited field tests were carried out. Validation was carried out on the feasibility of presentation, material, and linguistics of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. The data in the limited field test were obtained through a written test, namely a multiple choice test and a poetry writing test. Subjects in this field test consisted of 30 students of class X SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. The test results to identify elements of the form of poetry showed an increase from the average value of 55.00 to 81.50 (difference 26.50). The results of the poetry writing test also showed an increase from the average score of 64.60 to 80.90 (difference 16.30). Thus, the LKPD developed by researchers is suitable for use for class X SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung students.

Abstract

The research is based on the problem of low mathematical communication skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung. The use of learning models that do not meet the learning needs of students is one of the reasons for the low ability. Therefore, this study aims to analyze students' mathematical communication skills through the application of the SAVI learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental study, with a population of all eighth grade students. The samples were two classes, namely students of class VIII C as the experimental class, which amounted to 33 students and class VIII H as the control class, which amounted to 32 students. The sample was determined by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Students' mathematical communication skills are measured by tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis test using t test. The results of the hypothesis test show that tcount > ttable, thus it is found that the average mathematical communication ability that applies the SAVI model is higher than those who apply the conventional model. It can be said that there is an effect of the application of the SAVI model on the mathematical communication skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low mathematics learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to determine a significant relationship between study habits with mathematics learning outcomes for grade V students at SDNegeri 4 Sumberejo in the academic year 2021/2022. This type of research is quantitative with ex-post facto correlation method. The population of this study was 55 students and sampling using a saturated sample technique. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire and documentation. Analysis of the data used is the product moment correlation and obtained a correlation of0,43 with contribution of 18,4% with moderate criteria. There is a significant relationship between learning independence and mathe matematics learning students outcomes for grade V students at SD Negeri 4 Sumberejo in the academic year 2021/2022.

Abstract

The study of inference skill concerned with infer the message from the text which is written by the author. Studying on inference always faced the different text. Inference skill was occurred in some levels. These levels were very important to keep the meaning of the text to avoid the awkwardness. This research was aimed to find how was the student’s inference skill in reading comprehension at the sixth semester done by the students of English education study program in Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Lampung. The characteristic of this research was qualitative research by applying Miles and Huberman models; namely collecting data, data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The result of the students’ inference skill in reading comprehension was done by the students of English Study Program Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Lampung, in coherence inference, there were ten percent of students making error in this level.

Abstract

The problems studied in this study are related to the low mathematical problem solving ability of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of learning videos on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth graders in odd semesters at SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2022/2023. This study used an experimental method with the population in this study, namely all students of class VIII Odd Semester SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung, while the sample was taken two classes, namely class VIII B as an experimental class that used video learning, and class VIII C as a control class that did not use learning videos. learning video. Samples were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. To determine the students' mathematical problem solving ability, the author conducted a test in the form of an essay as many as five questions which had been tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing in this study uses the t-hit formula. From the results of hypothesis testing using the t-hit statistical formula, the value of t = 3,07 is obtained. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5%, it is known that t = 1,67 then  which means that the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who use learning videos is higher than the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who do not use learning videos.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to improve teacher competency in implementing learning through academic supervision. This research is a school action research using an instrument used to observe teachers in carrying out learning, the overall results of the study were analyzed by using quantitative analyses and categorized into very good, good, sufficient, less and very poor categories. Respondents of this study were teachers of UPT SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa who received the category, very poor, lacking and sufficient. The results of academic supervision in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 school year were obtained as many as 20 people consisting of 5 males and 15 females. This research consists of three cycles where each cycle uses the stages of planning, implementation / observation, evaluation and reflection. The results showed an increase in the ability of teachers to carry out learning in each cycle. The score of the teacher's ability to carry out learning before treatment was 1689; in cycle 1 a score of 2006 was obtained, in cycle 2 a score of 2277 was obtained and at cycle of 3 was obtaineda score of 2437. This indicates an increase in teachers’ competencies in implementing learning in each cycle. The composition of teachers’ competencies that reached the good and very good categories also experienced an increase in each cycle. Before treatment 0%, in the first cycle to 25%, in the second cycle to 55% and in the third cycle to 80%. From these results, it can be concluded that using academic supervision can improve teachers’competencies in carrying out learning.
