Abstract

The problem studied in this research is related to the less than optimal achievement of students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the 5E Learning cycle learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VIII Even Semester students at SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses an experimental method with the population in this research, namely all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung consisting of 8 classes. Meanwhile, two classes were taken as samples, namely class VIII B as the experimental class which applied the 5E Learning cycle learning model, and class VIII A as the control class which applied the conventional learning model. Samples were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. To determine students' mathematical problem solving abilities, the author carried out a test in the form of an essay with five questions whose validity and reliability had first been tested. Hypothesis testing in this study used the t-hit formula and obtained a value of t = 3,10. From the t distribution table at the 5% significance level, it is known that t = 1,67, so , which means that the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who use the 5E Learning cycle learning model is higher than the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who use the model. conventional learning.

Abstract

Smartphone addiction dapat diartikan sebagai ketergantungan ponsel atau penggunaan ponsel yang berlebihan secara koplusif. Secara istilah smartphone addiction merupakan foenomena penggunaan ponsel atau smartphone secara berlebihan yang berdampak kepada pola diri dan pola kehidupan. Fenomena smartphone addiction dapat ditandai dengan perasaan senang yang disertai desakan pada perilaku berlebihan atau tidak terkontrol saat menggunakan smartphone sehingga menyebabkan individu mengabaikan aktivitas lainnya. Ketika anak mengalami smartphone addict, hambatan masalah sosial-emosional yang dihadapi anak adalah, anak lebih sering menghabiskan waktu sendiri dan susah untuk berinteraksi dengan orang baru. Anak sering meniru perilaku dan gaya bahasa yang sering digunakan oleh tokoh-tokoh tontonan ataupun karakter yang anak mainkan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and test the effectiveness of the implementation of Live Worksheets as a technology-based learning tool in increasing student involvement and flexibility in delivering material in the SMP Negeri 15 Palembang environment. The research method used is qualitative. The subjects of this research were students in class VII.7 of SMP Negeri 15 Palembang with a total of 32 students. Data was collected through direct observation and tests. Data analysis is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and then drawing conclusions. The research results show the positive impact of implementing Live Worksheets learning media in learning to write response texts for class VII.7 students at SMP Negeri 15 Palembang. The implication of these findings for learning practice is that the use of digital learning media such as Live Worksheets can increase the effectiveness of writing learning in classroom VII.7 Public Middle School 15 Palembang. Abstract

Creative thinking ability is one of the High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). This ability is an important part of developing learning in the 21st century based on technological advances, especially communication and information technology. IPAS is one of the new subjects contained in the Merdeka curriculum, providing teachers with the opportunity to develop teaching materials to answer the challenges of changing the 21st century learning mindset. One of the teaching materials developed is Discovery Learning-based LKPD which aims to improve students' creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of developing Discovery Learning-based LKPD IPAS. The development model used is a modified 4D model, while the research subjects are fourth grade students of SDN 02 Tambahrejo Pringsewu. From the results of the validity and effectiveness tests conducted, it was found that the Discovery Learning-based IPAS LKPD was valid and effective for use in improving students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a higher level thinking ability. In reality, students still have difficulty thinking critically when learning science. An effort is needed to improve critical thinking skills. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of LKPD based on the Discovery Learning learning model in improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is quasi-experimental. This research involved 84 elementary school students in class V. The research sample consisted of 68 students. Data collection in this research was obtained from a learning outcomes test in the form of 12 essay questions. Data obtained was tested for normality and homogeneity and then analyzed using the t-test. In the experimental class the highest score was 85, the lowest score was 40, the average was 70.36, with a standard deviation of 9.36. In the control class the highest score was 48.7, the lowest score was 5, the average was 20.2, with a standard deviation of 8.94. In the process, students in the experimental class showed better critical thinking skills than control class students. From the results of this research it can be seen that the value of t_count = 41.12 > table = 1.668, so the hypothesis or H1 is accepted, thus the use of LKPD based on the Discovery Learning learning model has an effect on critical thinking skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to develop student worksheets (LKPD) based on discovery learning in learning rain cycle material and measuring students' high order thinking skills. The discovery learning method allows students to actively explore concepts and connect information from various sources, so it is hoped that they can improve their critical thinking skills. The LKPD developed will include exploration, observation and reflection activities that will enable students to identify rain cycles. In addition, the HOTS measurement instrument will be used by students before and after using the LKPD. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the development of more effective science learning and increase student HOTS. By understanding how discovery learning can influence HOTS abilities, educators can design learning strategies that are better and relevant to students' needs

Abstract

The use of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Discovery Learning is an interesting approach in an effort to increase students' scientific literacy. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of Discovery Learning-based LKPD in increasing students' scientific literacy. This research uses the ADDIE research model with research subjects totaling 30 students in class IV UPTD SDN 23 Negeri Katon. This development research has produced Student Worksheets (LKPD) which have been tested through validation and evaluation, and declared "Very Valid" and "Very Appropriate" for use. The LKPD that has been created has gone through a process that is in accordance with the recommendations and benefits according to experts. The research results show that the use of Discovery Learning-based LKPD significantly increases students' understanding of science concepts compared to conventional learning methods. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating Discovery Learning-based LKPD in science learning to increase students' scientific literacy at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Primary education plays an important role in shaping the foundation of students' knowledge, especially in Natural and Social Sciences (NSP) subjects in grade 4. Choosing grade 4 as the focus of learning is very strategic because at this age, children are in a critical stage of cognitive development where they begin to be able to think logically and understand more abstract concepts. LKPD is a learning tool designed to provide guidance and steps to students in the form of worksheets that contain instructions, steps, and tasks to be completed. LKPD serves as a medium that helps students organize and internalize learning material more effectively, as well as develop analytical thinking skills and problem solving through hands-on and exploratory activities. The photosynthesis material in the 4th grade Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject of the Merdeka Curriculum was chosen for research because photosynthesis is a basic concept that is very important for students' understanding of the plant life cycle and the basics of ecosystems. Photosynthesis teaches students about how plants produce food and oxygen, which are essential for the life of all living things. A solid understanding of the photosynthesis process can help students appreciate the importance of protecting the environment and increase their awareness of environmental issues. In addition, it lays the foundation for more complex science lessons later in their education. Conventional learning methods are often unable to optimally motivate students, resulting in low learning outcomes. To overcome this problem, the development of Discovery Learning-based Learner Worksheets (LKPD) is an alternative solution. This study aims to determine the initial picture of student learning outcomes using LKPD. The method used is descriptive research. Data collection was carried out using a test instrument. The results of the study were an average of 55. This result shows that the average value of students does not yet have a basic understanding of the concept of photosynthesis. The follow-up of the results of this study is the need to develop Discovery Learning-based LKPD.

Abstract

Implementation of Online Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to Improve Educational Services for Parents of Students in Vocational High Schools, is research that implements an online program in the form of Whatsapp services and websites in order to improve and improve services for parents of students in Schools. CRM itself is actually often used in business companies, but is also starting to be used in the world of education. CRM aims to improve relationships with customers, in this case parents, and increase interest in the school, which ultimately results in the school having many students.  The online CRM used is an Android application in the form of a Whatsapp application and website. With this service application, parents of students can find out about the distribution of information and developments in school programs that will be and have been implemented for their children or students at the school, so that they can improve services that ultimately increase interest. Today a good customer relationship management (CRM) platform is the backbone of many successful student recruiting efforts. CRM for schools is a customer-centric system that can help education professionals, build relationships with prospects and enrollees, generating data-based insights.

Abstract

This research aims to see the extent of the LKPD development process on the properties of solid, liquid and gas objects material in the 5th grade of elementary school, as well as finding out the results of the analysis regarding the feasibility and response to product implementation. This research uses the ADDIE model development method which involves questionnaires, tests and several interviews in data collection. The development of digital-based LKPD has very good feasibility. This can be seen from the material expert validity test of 3.8, the language expert test of 3.7, the media expert test of 3.9 and all of them are recommended as very valid and suitable for use. The development of digital-based LKPD has very good effectiveness in learning science material on the properties of solid, liquid and gas objects as assessed from the test results given. The posttest learning results achieved were very significant.
