Abstract

The learning process in non-formal education will be carried out well if it is supported by competent tutors because its role and ability in creating an effective learning environment will have a major effect on improving student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the competence of the tutor for the package C equivalence program in improving the learning outcomes of students at SKB Situbondo. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The results showed that the tutor in improving the learning outcomes of the citizens in SKB was measured by the ability of the tutor himself. A tutor has adequate knowledge standards so that he can manage learning which includes student understanding, learning design and implementation, evaluation of learning outcomes and development of students to actualize their various potentials.

Abstract

The opaque gambir business is one of the businesses in Winongan Lor Village that was started by a single parent. The business was established with the help of an empowerment strategy to expand sources of income and improve family welfare. Through this empowerment strategy in an effort to increase welfare, it can provide insight, foster an attitude of independence, especially for single parent women, and can grow small industries that are empowered and can implement them for economic development in improving family welfare. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of empowerment through the gambir opak business in an effort to increase the welfare of single parent women's families in Winongan Lor Village by using a qualitative descriptive research method that is suitable for this phenomenon. In implementing the empowerment strategy, there are three scopes, namely social assistance, institutional strengthening and partnership strengthening. Meanwhile, to determine the level of family welfare, there are indicators of a prosperous family II and an indicator of a prosperous family III

Abstract

The Development of Post of Non Transmitted Disease now is certainly inseparable from service provided to the elderly. This form of service affects the satisfaction of the elderly. The Purpose of this observe changed into relationship management of development post of non transmitted disease with elderly satisfaction in Sumbersari, Malang city. This research method uses correlational research with a quantitative approach. The study population was all active elderly members spread over four Post of Non Transmitted Disease with a study sample of 83 elderly using proportional random sampling technique. The result of this research from the feasibility test have a value 87.2% for management of Development Post of Non Transmitted Disease is included in the very good category, then the elderly service satisfaction have a value of 87.5% is included in the very good category. It showed that relationship between management of development post of non transmitted disease with elderly satisfaction on a correlation coefficient of 0.710 wich means is relationship between two variables is a strong relationship

Abstract

Family is a social unit consisting of a father, mother and children. The family is the first and foremost educational forum in the child's life history which is an important basis in the formation of the human character itself. By using the observation method to dig up data in the field, the role of the family towards adolescents can be obtained where there are still teenagers who do not know the roles and functions of the family itself, even a small number of teenagers still feel uncomfortable and consider their families to be less harmonious. . The impact that will be caused is that the child will not feel comfortable and the child's mental health will be disturbed. Therefore, parents need to know how to prevent this from happening by emphasizing the function and role of the family itself.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an effective training model to enhance teacher competency in character and life skills education at Baiturrahmah Character Islamic School. The research method used was a case study involving 10 teachers as respondents. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the developed training model was effective in enhancing teacher competency in character and life skills education. After the training, teachers demonstrated an improved understanding of the importance of character and life skills education, as well as their ability to design and implement learning activities that promote student character development. Additionally, teachers reported positive changes in student attitudes and motivation, as well as improvements in their social and emotional skills. Teachers also provided positive feedback on the use of teaching methods and strategies gained from the training. It is expected that this training model can be adopted by other schools to enhance teacher competency in character and life skills education. Further research can be conducted to identify factors influencing the success of this training model and measure its impact on student achievements.

Abstract

Environmental literacy is a form of public awareness of caring for the environment. This not only discusses environmental issues, but also sets the framework for environmental literacy. Environmental literacy is divided into several parts, namely knowledge, awareness, and ethics. This research is included in a qualitative approach. The research location is in the Sempu Banyuwangi area. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses the theory of Miles and Huberman namely reduction, presentation, and verification or conclusion. The results of the study as a whole the level of understanding of the environmental literacy of the Sempu community is quite good regarding awareness of the surrounding environment, knowledge, attitudes and behavior. The role of students in this case acts as a companion and motivator in efforts to increase environmental literacy with training activities. Apart from that, it still shows the need for a companion role in providing environmental literacy to the Sempu community to increase knowledge and awareness about the environment

Abstract

The development of the Marina Islands has made it difficult for the people of Mandar Village to find fish in the sea considering that almost all of the people of Mandar Village work as fishermen. Therefore, the Banyuwangi Regency government provided a solution by holding an entrepreneurship training program in the form of processing products from fish raw materials for the people of Mandar Village. The aim of this research is to describe the impact of the fish processing training program on the independence of the people of Kampung Mandar Banyuwangi using a qualitative approach method. The location for this research was chosen using a purposive area technique and is located in Mandar village, Banyuwangi district. This research data collection technique uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. From this research, research results were obtained which show that the people of Mandar Village are able to be economically independent by having new skills and knowledge that they have, apart from that, thanks to the motivation and responsibility they carry out as entrepreneurs of processed fish products, they are able to consistently develop their business until now.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the local knowledge of coastal women in the management of fisheries resources (study on coastal women of Puger, Jember Regency). Local knowledge of coastal women is analyzed through the theory of ecofeminism. Meanwhile, the management of fisheries resources carried out by women can be seen from community participation and communication skills. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that coastal women's local knowledge is based on their experience from generation to generation which will cause them to be able to dominate participation in fisheries resource management. The ability of coastal women in selling their catches is based on their communication skills. In the view of ecofeminism, the involvement of coastal women must be recognized in managing and protecting nature in addition to their needs

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the independent learning mode in the Package B equality education program at PKBM Al-Muttaqin. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Determining the research location using the purposive area technique. The technique for determining informants in this research is purposive sampling. Collecting research data in this study used interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data validity technique used in this research is by extending participation, diligent observation and triangulation. The data analysis stage in this research uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, the implementation of the independent learning mode carried out by students in the package B equality education program at PKBM Al-Muttaqin has been carried out in accordance with a series of implementation of the independent learning mode through three important stages, namely the planning, implementation, monitoring and six supporting components, namely individual initiative, identifying one's own learning needs, setting one's own learning goals, idenntifying learning resources, selecting learning strategies, evaluating one's own learning outcomes. So the researchers found that the implementation of three important stages had been carried out, but within these three stages there was one stage that had not been implemented optimally, namely the monitoring stage because there was a lack of awareness among students in monitoring their learning outcomes

Abstract

In advanced age, there has been a decline in health and a decrease in quality of life. Therefore, Indonesia Ramah Lansia and BKKBN are working together to help improve the quality of life of the elderly to be better by ashering to the rigorous senior school program. The aim of this research is to find out how to improve the quality of life of the elderly in the “Bahagia” Lance School Program. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques include obervations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study is data reduction, data presesntation, and conclusion drawing. The number of resppondents was 6. The results of the research show that the quality of life of the elderly is seen in (a) physical health with the application of PHBS CERDIK, aging gymnastics, and dishwashing of Isi Piringku; (b) psychological health with understanding of delirium, spiritual activity, and a positive way of thinking; (c) social relationship such as communication, family welfare, and support provided by the family; (d) the environment, environment welfare, the development of hobbies owned, and health services and care for older persons
